A newborn baby recently crowd-surfed her way into The Rock‘s arms. And footage of the moment had social media users rattling off their opinions over the weekend!

The actor is on a global tour to promote the release of Black Adam–his live-action superhero debut. Dwayne Johnson stars as DC Universe antihero Black Adam who is released after five thousand years locked up. Rock and co-stars kicked off the tour in Mexico City on October 3.

Some fans welcomed them with cheers, others with phone flashes! But one fan and father decided to hand off his infant daughter–trusting the crowd to get her into Rock’s arms on stage. And the crowd DID!

Rock Says SIMBA Moment Wasn’t Surprising

Despite the unusual scene, the actor revealed in a re-post that the father asked him to hold his baby–even with the ever-looming Covid-19. That’s some fan love!

“Our BLACK ADAM. Tour has been electric, fun, and emotional. People do cry and they hand me things,” Rock said. “I was NOT surprised to be handed this beautiful little baby. Her father caught my attention because he had tears in his eyes when he held her up high and gestured for me to hold her.”

Rock says he believed the baby was “a toy doll.” Instead, he met Luciana, whom he described as a “beautiful, serene, present and trusting angel.” 

“One day, I bet she’ll inspire all those around her,” Rock wrote. “And whatever this moment meant for her emotional father–means it meant something special for me too. Love you back MEXICO and the mama is strong. Girl dads ROCK.”

As you may already know, Rock is also a girl dad–who often shares his adventures with his growing daughters Simone, Jasmine, and Tia.

NeNe Leakes‘ 23-year-old son Brentt has a long road to recovery doctors say after suffering a heart attack and a stroke in Atlanta earlier this month, according to TMZ.

Brentt Leakes was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention last week.

TMZ reports that Brentt was hospitalized for several days, and is currently back home and going through physical rehab, with fans of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” wishing Leakes’ son a full recovery.

Brentt’s father and NeNe’s husband, Gregg, died just last year following a long battle with cancer. Brentt had previously been featured on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” during NeNe’s time on the show alongside his brother, Bryson.

NeNe has yet to publicly comment on her son’s situation, and details regarding the cause of Brentt’s medical issues remain unknown as of Monday.

Brentt had posted about his father’s passing last year, telling his followers to “spend time with your loved ones every chance you get.”

“Spend time with your loved ones every chance you get,” he wrote. “Time is so f***ing valuable dog. I can’t express it. I’m learning the hard way watching my dad fight every day. Please go create memories with ya people.”

News Of Brentt’s Health Scare Comes A Year After His Father and NeNe’s Husband Gregg Died Of Cancer

The news of Brentt’s frightening medical emergency comes just months after NeNe’s legal battle with Bravo, Andy Cohen, and others ended with a dismissal without prejudice in favor of the reality TV star, The Shade Room reported in August.

People Magazine reports Leakes’ “dismisses this action and all claims asserted by Leakes without prejudice.” Documents also stated, “All Parties consent and stipulate to the foregoing dismissal,” the document reads.

“No party will seek recovery of costs or attorneys’ fees in any submission to this Court.”

Reports also state this is a joint stipulation dismissal without prejudice between all parties. NeNe, who had accused the network of racism, can resurface this case down the road if she chooses.

In a video announcing her procedure, Leakes reveals Georgia Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery center named her an ambassador and that she went under the knife for both liposuction and a Brazilian butt lift at that same practice.

Leakes shared that she has not a fan of the traditional BBL, so she and her doctor came up with a “professional, mini BBL,” that was more to her liking.

It looks like it may be a little feuding in The Family when it comes to Fabolous and some of his loved ones.

On Monday, he took to Instagram to make a special birthday post for him and Emily B’s baby girl Journey Jackson. He shared a photo of him and Journey and said,

“I named you Journey because that’s really what it’s been. Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end. I don’t believe you can have faith unless you trust the JOURNEY. You have taught me that so I look at you with understanding & love.
Your life assures it will all add up.” 

Not too long after Fabolous made the post, Emily’s oldest daughter, and Journey’s big sister Taina Williams commented on the post alleging that Fabolous has not taken care of Journey in almost a year.

She said in her comment, “This post is hilarious…’Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end,’ is translation for= I haven’t taken care of my daughter in almost a year & don’t even ask about her well being because IDC & I’m bitter & only a father to two beautiful sons who I can manipulate. Stop playing with the internet.” 

Fabolous and Emily also share two sons as well, Johan and Jonas. They welcomed their baby girl Journey back in 2020.

Kanye West continues to make headlines this week, this time after being banned from Twitter and Instagram – reportedly over anti-semitic comments – just as he was spotted with a mystery woman in what sources close to the rapper are calling a “mental break.”

Ye received the ban on Saturday evening after the 45-year-old “Donda” rapper attacked Jewish people in a string of posts.

Twitter also removed the tweet and replaced it with an automated message stating, “this tweet violated the Twitter rules.” He was similarly banned on Instagram on Saturday, for the second time this year, with the social media app restricting his account following several antisemitic posts.

“Look at this Mark. How you gone kick me off instagram. You used to be my n****” Ye captioned a throwback photo of him appearing to sing karaoke with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Kanye went on to tweet “Who you think created cancel culture?”

However, Kanye’s account was reinstated several hours later, with Elon Musk even tweeting at him “welcome back to Twitter, my friend!”

Ye’s anti-semitic behavior was condemned by the American Jewish Committee, who criticized the rapper for comments he made during an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program, alongside recent text messages he exchanged with Diddy.

Meanwhile, sources close to the rapper told Page Six that issues regarding his recent behavior comes amidst a “mental break,” with this one being “the most serious such episode.”

Two teenagers have been arrested after allegedly stabbing a Los Angeles Fashion District store owner to death over a wig after he tried to stop them from stealing from his business.

Du Young Lee, 56, better known by locals as Tommy, was fatally stabbed in the chest last Saturday (October 1) near Olympic Boulevard and Wall Street, near the wig shop he ran for almost two decades.

A male and female suspect, both 17, were arrested following the deadly attack, however neither of their names have been released due to the fact that they are minors, according to FOX 11.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced charges against the two girls on Wednesday, saying his “office will work diligently to hold accountable individuals in violent acts – even if they are minors.”

Both teens are facing one count of murder and one count of second-degree robbery in connection to the stolen wig.

“Mr. Lee was killed in the middle of the day on a busy street in downtown L.A. while simply trying to run his business.” Gascón said in a press release Wednesday. “His death is a tremendous loss for his friends, family and all who knew him. I want to make it clear that my office will work diligently to hold accountable individuals who engage in violent acts – even if they are minors.”

The store’s landlord told FOX 11 what she was in surveillance video footage of the deadly incident, which has not yet been released by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The landlord said “Tommy had a record of being tough and going after robbers,” which may have led to his death after “the boy pulled out a knife and shanked him right in the heart.”

“They were looking at a wig. And then all of a sudden they made a run for it. Tommy had a record of being tough and going after robbers,” said the landlord earlier in the week. “He started chasing them around shopping center and then the boy pulled out a knife and shanked him right in the heart.”

Owner’s Store Targeted By Robbers In The Past, Survived By 25-Year-Old Daughter

The outlet reports that Lee’s business had been previously targeted by robbers in the past. His death is the latest in a string of violent crimes that have plagued the city in recent months.

The landlord added that Lee never could have “imagined (that) he would be murdered over a wig.”

“I don’t think he ever imagined he would be murdered over a wig,” the landlord told FOX 11 earlier in the week.

Lee is survived by a 25-year-old daughter, according to a GoFundMe page that was launched for the family.

The fundraiser has raised $89,363 raised of $50,000 goal as of Monday.

A judge denied bond for an Alabama man who allegedly poured boiling hot water down his 1-year-old baby’s throat while already out on bail for a separate domestic violence charge.

Authorities say Eugene Lamont Sneed, 23, committed the act of child abuse on Sunday while out on bond for a 2020 arrest for domestic violence, FOX 17 reports.

Mother Of Child Left 1-Year-Old Daughter With Her Father On Sunday, Returned Home With Her Baby’s Face “Messed Up”

Niktoria Lett, the mother of the child named Royalty, told investigators that the baby was left alone with Sneed for the day, and when she returned to their apartment, she saw Royalty’s face “all messed up,” according to FOX 10.

“I get in the apartment and my whole my, my baby face is just messed up,” Lett explained. “Her whole head, her left shoulder is just like ooh!”

Lett added that she could barely recognize her daughter due to the burns on her face.

“I couldn’t even stand to look at her. I couldn’t even keep calm. I couldn’t even maintain my body for real, for real. So we rushed her to the hospital, and from there, her injuries just started worsening,” Lett said.

Doctor’s Determined The Act Was Done “Purposely” And That Pouring The Boiling Water Was Intentional

The child’s mother went on to say that doctors were able to determine the act was done “purposely,” saying “they said it was an intention thing he did.”

“Her lungs critical, everything critical. That’s how they know it was done purposely,” Lett said. “They said it was an intentional thing that he did. Justice for Royalty! That’s all we want, that’s all we want.”

Royalty is still alive, but is currently fighting for her life in the hospital, Lett said, saying that 19 percent of her head “is burnt up.”

The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office motioned to revoke Sneed’s bond late Thursday afternoon, with a trial for the domestic violence charge being schemed for later this month.

Sneed was book on Friday and charged with aggravated child abuse, according to jail records.

A judge ultimately denied Sneed’s bond. His arraignment is set for October 17, according to Fox News.

Lauryn Hill shared a teary-eyed moment with her son Zion Marley and his beautiful children while performing her tribute to him from over 25 years ago.

On Saturday, the 47-year-old singer closed out One Music Festival in Atlanta. Ms. Hill performed hits from her time with The Fugees and from her solo album for the packed show. The Grammy-winning singer also shared a beautifully deconstructed version of her ode to her son, Zion.

The mother’s song, “To Zion,” was Lauryn’s personal story of how she was proud of her decision to keep her son when she became pregnant by his father Zohan Marley during the height of her career. The parents were in a long-term relationship for 15 years before calling things quits in 2012. They share five children together.
