Draymond Green was caught on video viciously attacking Jordan Poole during NBA practice earlier this week, and now Green’s representatives are saying it’s because Poole has been acting differently ever since winning an NBA title.

The video, obtained by TMZ, shows Green as he violently punches Poole in the face, reportedly after some trash talk in practice. Poole was uninjured after the scrap, however Green is now facing a suspension for the attack.

The video reveals how intense NBA practices can be, with Green being a well-known aggressive player on the court.

Green, who is 6’6 and 230 lbs, is a formidable physical force, so that punch had to have hurt.

Warriors GM Bob Myers tried to downplay the incident later, saying:

“These things happen. Nobody likes it. We don’t condone it, but it happens.” He goes on to say, “Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room … as far as any suspension, punishment, fine, we will handle that internally.”

In a Daily Mail report, Udoka’s mystery mistress is identified as 34-year-old Kathleen Nimmo Lynch. The outlet reports that Lynch is a devout Mormon. She is also a married mother of three who serves as the Celtics’ team service manager.

Daily Mail reports that Lynch’s job duties included arranging travel, lodging, and game tickets for Celtics family members at home and on the road. She also likely arranged travel for Udoka’s fiancée, actress Nia Long when she and her children moved to Boston last month.

On September 22nd, The Boston Celtics issued a news release revealing that Head Coach Udoka would be suspended for the entire 2022-2023 NBA season after his cheating scandal with a female staff member was brought to light. The franchise stated that Udoka violated team policies.

The Biden administration has purchased $290 million worth of anti-radiation drugs this week amidst warmongering Russian head of state Vladimir Putin, who the president said “was not joking” in his threats for nuclear “Armageddon.”

The Department of Health and Human Services confirmed that the major supply of the drug Nplate was part of “ongoing efforts to be better prepared to save lives following radiological and nuclear emergencies.”

The capsules can be used on kids as well as adults, and is “approved to treat blood cell injuries that accompany acute radiation syndrome [ARS] in adult and pediatric patients,” the department said in Tuesday’s announcement.

Radiation sickness “occurs when a person’s entire body is exposed to a high dose of penetrating radiation, reaching internal organs in a matter of seconds,” the alarming HHS release noted.

“Symptoms of ARS injuries include impaired blood clotting as a result of low platelet counts, which can lead to uncontrolled and life-threatening bleeding.”

Nplate, classified as a bone marrow stimulant, works by stimulating the body’s production of platelets “to reduce radiation-induced bleeding.” It may take up to four weeks before Nplate is completely effective in preventing bleeding episodes, according to the drugmaker.

The $290 million in funding for the capsules is a result of Project BioShield – a 2004 law that saw widespread government investment in companies “developing the medical countermeasures that our critical to our national security,” the New York Post reports.

Despite the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and fears of a nuclear threat from Russia, an HHS spokesperson said the move the investment was part of an “ongoing” nuclear prep and that it had “not been accelerated by the situation in Ukraine.”

But the announcement was approved just days before President Biden publicly stated that Putin was “not joking when he talks about the use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons.”

“We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis,” the president warned during a New York fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Putin’s nuclear threats have kept the world on edge for the last several months as he finds himself continued to be mired in a losing war effort in Ukraine.

A woman lost her life while trying to access a clothing donation box in California this week, authorities said. According to The Los Angeles Times, police found the unnamed woman dead and partially trapped in the door of a clothing donation box in suburban Los Angeles early Thursday.

Authorities reportedly arrived at the scene in L.A.’s Santa Clarita area at about 9:58 a.m. and found the 61-year-old victim, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The report said the woman’s “upper body” had gotten trapped in the door of a metal donation box. Lieutenant Dan Wolanski of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to the publication that the woman was declared dead at the scene.

“She had crawled up there,” he said. “I don’t know if she lost an item in the bin or not, but she was reaching in there when she got trapped.”

Woman’s Death Still Being Investigated, Likely “Accidental”

Details surrounding the circumstances of the woman’s death and what she was at the donation box are currently sparse. Reportedly the Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the circumstances of the woman’s death and don’t know how long she had been there until she was found.

The timing of how long the woman had been trapped in the box has not been confirmed, KTTV reported. Police who did not release the victim’s name, said there were no signs of foul play and no suspects have been named, according to KTLA-TV.

So far, this tragedy is being handled as an accidental death investigation, according to reports.

The brothers, born Fred and Richard Fairbrass spoke to The Sun, and called Bey “arrogant” for sampling their 1992 single ‘I’m Too Sexy’ on her track ‘Alien Superstar.’

Normally the artist approaches us but Beyoncé didn’t because she is such an arrogant person. She just had probably thought ‘come and get me’ so we heard about it after the fact when you did. But everyone else, Drake and Taylor Swift, they came to us.”

The 90’s hit has been sampled by many big artists, including Drake, who used the track in his 2021 song ‘Way 2 Sexy’.

The Chicago Native explained that she lost access to her Instagram page and lost a big bag from the lingerie company over negative Domestic Violence comments. 

If you recall, in January, Ari faced backlash after appearing on an episode of Mona’s podcast, “Don’t Call Me White Girl.” On the podcast, she discussed her relationship with Moneybagg Yo. She jokingly said that she likes for her man to pull a gun out on her to “tame her” when she’s upset. Following the interview, many were upset with Ari, however, her approach to the criticism didn’t come with an apology. 

The influencer hopped on Instagram live and clapped back while bashing domestic violence victims. “Two, y’all are in the comments, like ‘oh when I was in a relationship this boy’…nobody cares, nobody cares, nobody cares,” Ari said. “Nobody cares about what happened to you, what trauma you…nobody cares. You trying to victimize yourself…”

The influencer admitted the comments resulted in her being dropped from Rihanna’s company and losing out on $150,000. She explained it was a good lesson for her and needed it. Ari added that she knows that she can’t always depend on other brands and needed to have her own products to  promote. It looks like the situation may have allowed her to focus on her cosmetic line, Remedy By Ari.

Back in March, tragedy struck at Orlando’s Icon Park after 14-year-old Tyre Sampson suffered a fatal fall from the amusement park’s FreeFall ride. Months later, the theme park has announced that the ride will be taken down, per the request of Tyre’s family.

Slingshot CEO Ritchie Armstrong revealed the news in an official statement on ICON Park’s website.

We are devastated by Tyre’s death. We have listened to the wishes of Tyre’s family and the community, and have made the decision to take down the FreeFall.”

Armstrong also revealed that the company plans to create a scholarship in Tyre’s name.

In addition, Orlando Slingshot will honor Tyre and his legacy in the classroom and on the football field by creating a scholarship in his name.”

The statement continued saying,”Details of the scholarship are being developed and further information will be shared in the future after consultation with the family of Tye.” Similarly, details surrounding the timeline for when the ride would be taken down are scare, and reportedly depend on “approvals from all parties involved as well as regulatory entities.”

Tyre’s death is a tragedy that we will never forget. As the landlord, ICON Park welcomes and appreciated Orlando Slingshot’s decision to take down the ride.”

As we previously reported, Tyre Sampson slipped from the restraints of the FreeFall ride on March 24th, and was unfortunately pronounced dead at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The incident garnered national attention after video of Tyre’s fall started making its rounds on social media.

Following Tyre’s unfortunate passing, the FreeFall ride and the Orlando Slingshot were shut down. Tyre mother Nekia Dodd has repeatedly asked. that the ride be torn down, saying the ride was a “monument to this preventable tragedy.”

The ride’s mere existence is an insult to the memory of my son and makes each say since he was killed even more impossible for those of us who lived Tyre every day of his life.”

An investigation into accident revealed that sensors on the FreeFall were adjusted to make the ride’s restraints open wider, ultimately making the attraction “unsafe,” according to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The FDAC also found that the ride maximum weight limit was 287 pounds, and Tyre of 380 pounds at the time.

Tyre’s family has also filed a lawsuit against Orlando Slingshot, ICON Park and the ride’s manufacturers.

In a speech announcing the executive action, Biden noted that marijuana is already legal in many states, and noted “criminal records for marijuana possession have led to needless barriers to employment, housing, and educational opportunities.”

“No one should be in jail just for using or possessing marijuana,” Biden said. “It’s legal in many states, and criminal records for marijuana possession have led to needless barriers to employment, housing, and educational opportunities.

The president also spoke of the racial disparity when it comes to marijuana possession charges, added that “Black and brown people are arrested… and convicted at disproportionate rates.”

“And that’s before you address the racial disparities around who suffers the consequences. While white and Black and brown people use marijuana at similar rates, Black and brown people are arrested, prosecuted, and convicted at disproportionate rates.”

In April, the House has officially passed the MORE act, which would legalize marijuana nationwide, The Shade Room previously reported.

The bill eliminates criminal penalties for anyone who manufactures, distributes, or possesses the substance. According to CNN, the bill was sponsored by Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York. In addition to decriminalizing, it will prevent federal agencies from denying federal workers security clearances for cannabis use.

Biden Encourages State Governors To Follow Federal Government’s Lead, Tasks Attorney General With Classification Review

Biden went on to encourage governors to follow the lead and similarly pardon state simple marijuana possession charges, which would increase the amount of Americans affected by such crimes.

The Department of Health and Human Services and Attorney General Merrick Garland will be tasked with “expeditiously” reviewing how the drug is scheduled under federal law in a larger effort towards easing federal classification standards.

Biden’s announcement comes just a month before pivotal November midterm elections, which will determine who will control Congress.
