One of the most anticipated sporting events of the year is almost here. Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson fight.

As spotted on Variety Magazine the streaming platform has kicked off their promotional efforts for the main event. The almost two-minute clip opens up with a panoramic external shot of AT&T Stadium then quickly cuts two both fighters in the ring. Both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson look very focused as they await the first bell. From there we get some footage of each fighter’s past bouts including Paul’s dismantling of Nate Diaz and Iron Mike’s signature right hook that forced Michael Spinks to lean back. The trailer ends with both brawlers finally meeting at the middle of the ring ready to swing on each other.

Announced on March 7, the bout was originally scheduled for July 20 but was postponed due to Tyson suffering an ulcer problem while traveling. The former heavyweight champion of the world confirmed that this bout will actually be an exhibition match thus the results would not impact their respective professional records. This is not the first time the two would appear at the same event. When Mike Tyson fought Roy Jones Jr. back in 2020, Jake Paul defeated Nate Robinson on the undercard.
The Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson fight will stream on Netflix on November 15 at 8 PM EST / 5PM PST. You can see the official trailer below.

Young Dro went viral earlier this week after a clip of his surfaced online and almost led to a violent and unnecessary altercation with a friend. During his interview alongside T.I. on The Breakfast Club, Young Dro threatened to lay hands on comedian Kelly KDubb for laughing in the background as he shared his sobriety journey.
T.I. and Young Dro were guests on The Breakfast Club in an episode that aired Monday (October 14) and early on in the conservation, Dro shared some details on where he’s been after slowing down his active mixtape run.
With Dro sharing that he suffered a drug overdose, you can hear Kelly KDubb in the back giggling in the background, which caused others in the room to also snicker. Dro gamely tried to continue his story and even shared that his daughter battled drug addiction, which caused KDubb to laugh again but at this point, Dro had enough.
“Ay you finna get slapped, I mean we cool, but I’ll slap the sh*t out of you,” Dro says to KDubb, who didn’t back down and looked to be ready for action. But before things went incredibly left, T.I. showed exemplary leadership skills and got his crew to settle down and the air was cleared.
Later in the chat, Dro apologized to KDubb, The Breakfast Club, and all involved, proving that he truly is a changed man despite very much being from Bankhead as he reminded his friend.  Dro went on to share that he is currently approaching four years of sobriety and seems to be focused on staying on that path.
Despite cooler heads prevailing, some fans online felt that Kelly KDubb’s open disrespect of Young Dro was out of bounds and had some thoughts to share on X. We’ve got those reactions below.

Michael Strahan, easily one of the best NFL players to ever exist and currently a beloved on-air journalist, would not be mistaken to be a professor of politics and that is not a slight. That point was proven after Michael Strahan interviewed Gov. Tim Walz and asked the Minnesota governor why Vice President Kamala Harris hadn’t enacted any of her proposed policies in the past three and a half years.
In a clip that is trending on X now, Michael Strahan is seen speaking with Gov. Walz in an interview for Good Morning America that aired on Friday (October 11). Much of the discussion had to do with the current presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump along with other pertinent topics.
The portion of the interview that had some scratching their heads shows Strahan asking, with a straight face, what Walz would say to critics of Harris who claim she hasn’t put forth any of the policies she’s spoken about on the campaign trail in her time in office.
Walz, clearly in ready-to-answer mode, flipped it back by saying that to pass policies you need a “partner in Congress” and correctly took aim at Trump and his time at the helm. Perhaps because time was of the essence, Walz seemingly side-stepped giving Strahan a much-needed lesson in how the White House works.
The tough line of questioning from Strahan was necessary considering the Harris-Walz campaign is vying for votes in a reported tight race. That said, Walz seemed to duck answering questions and waffled on a couple of answers which naturally caught the eyes of his detractors.
The Trump-Vance campaign has sought to frame Vice President Harris as a do-nothing politician although if you asked anyone to state with Vice President Mike Pence did in office aside from standing up to his boss during the transfer of power struggle, they’d be grasping for examples.
The truth is that the role of the Vice President of the United States is a specific one and does not carry the wide-ranging power that the president’s office holds.
Of course, if you paid attention in civics class or watched some of those classic Schoolhouse Rock segments, folks would stop this charade.
On X, folks are reacting to Michael Strahan floating an empty strawman question to Gov. Tim Walz and we’ve got those reactions below.

Kamala Harris, the current Vice President of the United States, joined a Univision town hall event on Thursday to appeal to Latino voters and took questions from attendees. Kamala Harris’ detractors attempted to spread rumors of the vice president using a teleprompter, which has since been debunked.
Vice President Kamala Harris appeared at the University of Nevada Las Vegas on Thursday (October 10) for the Univision town hall, which was hosted and moderated by Enrique Acevedo. During the town hall, Harris fielded questions from concerned citizens and addressed several issues important to this bloc of voters which include immigration, healthcare, housing, and more.
The town hall was an emotional affair, with some attendees tearfully delivering their questions and Harris gamely answering them. One woman shared at the event that her mother passed away and couldn’t obtain healthcare due to her immigration status. In response, Harris showed compassion and empathy.
“I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through,” Harris said. “I know what it is like to have a hard-working mother who loves you and to lose that, but I know that her spirit is alive.”
Other attendees grilled Harris on what she intends to do for those unable to get Social Security benefits and other related concerns as those who spoke felt frozen out of getting proper treatment for their ailments. Harris also fielded a tough question from an independent voter who pondered how she was able to get to the top of the ticket after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
Harris also addressed the issue of assisting the middle class, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet in a grueling economy with stagnant wages, rising costs, and a cooling job market. She also made certain to draw the line between herself and Donald Trump by hammering down on her policies while criticizing the former president on his plans.
In the wake of the town hall, powerful conservative voices such as Sean Hannity went on to accuse Harris of getting talking point assistance from a teleprompter, despite the use of the device being a rather common practice. Trump has charged Harris with getting a boost from teleprompter use and boasts that he doesn’t need one yet his rambling and often incoherent speeches would suggest otherwise.
On X, where Hannity made his accusation, there is already a community note shooting down the claim. Further, Acevedo confirmed that the teleprompter was for his use and replied under an X reply made by conservative pundit Benny Johnson.

The prompter displayed my introduction (in Spanish) and then it switched to a timer. Any claim to the contrary is simply untrue. https://t.co/eYWZFoCyZf

“The prompter displayed my introduction (in Spanish) and then it switched to a timer. Any claim to the contrary is simply untrue,” Acevedo wrote. It should be noted that Hannity deleted his claim but didn’t seem to offer an explanation.
Despite the moderator’s reply and actual images posted on X supporting his stance, the teleprompter claim grew legs and spread to the point it became a trending topic. We’ve got reactions to Kamala Harris’ Univision town hall meeting, and the debunked teleprompter claims below.

Donald Trump is still a strong contender in the current race for the White House despite floundering in speeches and his rambling diatribes that hop from topic to disconnected topic. During an appearance on comedian Andrew Schulz’s podcast, the host laughed at Donald Trump after he claimed to be an honest individual.
Donald Trump was a recent guest on Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant podcast and chummed it up with the in-studio cast while employing his usual rapid-fire style of answering inquiries. Much of what observers have seen on the campaign trail was just as evident in Trump’s Flagrant appearance, but one moment from the former president had Schulz cracking up.
Trump was challenged on his honesty during his campaign and said to hosts that he’s “basically an honest person” and almost immediately, Schulz asked what he meant by that statement through fits of laughter.
On X, the Kamala HQ account clipped the response and posted it online with the video gaining almost six million views since publishing on Wednesday (October 9). This comes after Trump’s opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris has been on what is being framed as a “media blitz” and has appeared on the popular Call Her Daddy podcast, 60 Minutes, and other media hubs.
On X, the clip of Donald Trump on Flagrant is making its rounds and the reactions are what you can expect when it comes to the Felonious Funkmaster. We’ve got those reactions listed below.

Donald Trump and his connection to President Vladimir Putin have come under scrutiny over time and a new book from longtime journalist Bob Woodward delves deeper into the ties. In Woodward’s latest book War, the author shares details of Donald Trump sending COVID-19 tests to Vladimir Putin, holding telephone conversations with the Russian leader, and more.
The explosive details shared in Woodward’s new book reveal Trump’s deeper ties to Putin than previously reported. As seen in a report from CNN, which obtained an advanced copy of the book, Woodward wrote that Trump secretly sent COVID-19 tests to the Russian leader for Putin’s use and this occurred during the height of the pandemic that ravaged the United States.
Woodward also shared in his writings that Trump called Putin at least seven times since leaving office, further solidifying their relationship with one another.
More from CNN:
During the height of the pandemic, Russia and the United States did exchange medical equipment such as ventilators. But Putin — who infamously isolated himself over fears of Covid — told Trump on a phone call to keep the delivery of the Abbott machines quiet, Woodward reports.
“Please don’t tell anybody you sent these to me,” Putin said to Trump, according to Woodward.
“I don’t care,” Trump replied. “Fine.”
“No, no,” Putin said. “I don’t want you to tell anybody because people will get mad at you, not me. They don’t care about me.”
Donald Trump and his team have denied Woodward’s account of the events laid out in Woodward’s book.
Woodward also highlights candid conversations held by President Joe Biden, including one especially profanity-laced exchange regarding Putin and another highlighting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Kremlin confirmed via spokesperson Dmitry Peskov that Trump did indeed send the COVID-19 equipment as told to Bloomberg News. Peskov did say to Russian outlet RBC that Trump and Putin did not speak on the phone at the rate Woodward said in his book.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is awaiting sentencing inside a holding facility in Brooklyn in connection with his ongoing case as new details surrounding the mogul continue to surface. An attorney for one of Diddy’s alleged victims says that she has heard word of sex tapes featuring the Bad Boy honcho along with at least three other top celebrities.

Attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd — recently a guest on Piers Morgan Uncensored with Jaguar Wright and DJ Vlad — appeared on NewsNation’s Banfield program where she shared some new details regarding Diddy related to an alleged collection of sex tape footage that reportedly has made its rounds.

While speaking with Banfield guest host Laura Ingle, Mitchell-Kidd says she was contacted by an individual who allegedly has tapes featuring Diddy along with three other high-profile celebrities, and a fourth celebrity, said to be someone younger than Combs, was allegedly seen on tape in the throes of sexual activity.

It should be noted that Mitchell-Kidd has not seen video footage or images of the alleged tapes, only that she was informed of their existence and the potentially damning evidence within.
As we saw in a NewsNation article, Mitchell-Kidd also shared that she is no longer representing former adult film performer Adria English due to their shared vision of how the case should be handled.
“We agreed that she would stop undermining me,” Mitchell-Kidd said. “Then she went behind my back and violated it again. So fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. That’s where we are.”

Jaguar Wright is back on the airwaves and much like before, she is continuing her relentless attack on key figures of the entertainment industry. The singer was a guest on Piers Morgan Uncensored and unloaded on Diddy, Jay-Z, and got into it with DJ Vlad.
Jaguar Wright appeared on a Wednesday night (October 2) broadcast of Morgan’s program alongside Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, a lawyer representing one of Sean “Diddy” Combs” alleged victims, and DJ Vlad. Wright wasted little time in sharing her three decades of experience with executives and others in the industry who wielded their power for nefarious means.
Wight was challenged by DJ Vlad, who framed Wright as a conspiracy theorist during the segment, and explicitly said to Morgan that he “doesn’t cosign anything that she says” before giving his thoughts on the legal woes faced by Combs and offering his thoughts on Wright framing Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, and Combs.
In his estimation, Vlad believes that much of what’s occurring in the Diddy case is a direct result of the lawsuit filed by Cassie Ventura which opened the floodgates to other allegations that have since surfaced.
Mitchell-Kidd also chimed in and essentially said to Wright that she should seek legal counsel as some of her statements could be viewed as defamatory without proof or official charges. She also called DJ Vlad a culture vulture and dressed down the media figure in what she believes is his role in leading to the indictment of Black artists and entertainers.
On X, formerly Twitter, the Piers Morgan Uncensored segment with Jaguar Wright, DJ Vlad, and Ariel Mitchell-Kidd garnered several replies and we’ve got them listed in our playlist slideshow. The replies shared do not echo our sentiments, we are just delivering a report.
The entire segment can be viewed below.

Van Jones had more than a few words of criticism for Sen. JD Vance in the wake of his vice presidential debate with Gov. Tim Walz. During a CNN breakdown of the debate, Van Jones aimed for JD Vance’s performance in the debate and noted that the Ohio senator took several liberties in his answers.
The CBS News debate between. Sen. JD Vance and Gov. Tim Walz on Tuesday (October 1) was a highly anticipated event although most analysts couldn’t agree if this would be a pivotal needle-moving moment for either campaign.

Van Jones opened up his analysis of Vance’s performance by noting that they both attended the same law school and how that training may have served Vance onstage versus Walz’s style of speech.
“I think what you saw tonight was the kitchen table versus the Ivy League,” Jones began in his comments. “I went to the same law school as JD Vance [Yale Law School] and that’s how they teach us to do it. The problem is, JD Vance changes personalities like some people change suits and his job tonight was to try and “sane- wash” the crazy.”
Jones was referring to the measured tone and approach Vance took in comparison to the reported ramblings and off-script speeches of Vance’s running mate, GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump.
On X, Jones clarified his position further.
From X:
JD Vance used every trick we learned at Yale Law School — trying to sane-wash Donald Trump (and memory hole all the bigoted, nutty stuff Vance himself has been saying).
Do not fall for it.
Vance lied about everything, all night long: he said he never supported a national abortion ban (he did), that American energy production is down (it’s up), and that we had a peaceful transfer of power in 2020 (as if January 6 never happened).
A man who will lie on national television this brazenly about facts that anyone can find with a simple google search — should never be anywhere close to the Oval Office.
Some observers believe that while Vance’s answers were delivered with polish, mild fact-checking would uncover holes in some of his policy positions. In contrast, it has been stated that Walz didn’t appear as confident in the moment as he has been on the campaign trail but the debate was gentlemanly as it possibly could be given the distance on politics between the rivals.

At minute 31:00 of the video below, you can view Van Jones’ commentary on the debate.

Ta-Nehisi Coates has attracted controversy and discussion given his decades as a reporter and writer who tackles themes as carefully as one can without pulling punches when necessary. In a recent appearance on CBS News’ morning program, Ta-Nehisi Coates engaged in what appeared to be an intense debate with co-host Tony Dokoupil regarding a segment in his book that touches on the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict.
Ta-Nehisi Coates was on CBS Mornings to discuss his newest book, The Message, a trio of essays regarding the writer’s visits to Senegal, South Carolina, and the Israel-Gaza region and draws some significant parallels to the idea of what it means to belong.
Tony Dokoupil, who seemingly angled to dominate the segment with his questioning, went on the offensive by framing Coates’ book as something you would in the backpack of an anti-Israeli extremist. It should be noted that Dokoupil’s ex-wife and his two older children are living in Israel currently and he is currently married to Katy Tur, who is of Jewish descent.
Coates gamely took on the challenge of attempting to explain himself in the face of Dokoupil’s critiques of his work.
“You write a book that delegitimizes the pillars of Israel. It seems like an effort to topple the whole building of it,” Dokoupil said. “So I come back to the question, and it’s what I struggled with throughout this book, what is it that so particularly offends you about the existence of a Jewish state that is a Jewish safe place and not any of the other states out there?”
Coates answered, “There’s nothing that offends me about a Jewish state. I am offended by the idea of states built on ethnocracy, no matter where they are. I would not want a state where any group of people lay down their citizenship rights based on ethnicity. The country of Israel is a state in which half the population exist on one tier of citizenship and everybody else that’s ruled by Israelis exist on another tier, including Palestinian Israeli citizens. The only people that exist on that first tier are Israeli Jews. Why do we support that? Why is that okay? I’m the child of Jim Crow. I’m the child of people that were born into a country where that was exactly the case, of American apartheid.”
It didn’t appear that any stance Ta-Nehisi Coates took satisfied the curiosities Tony Dokoupil and co-hosts Gayle King and Nate Burleson remained oddly quiet during the segment. The moment has caused a stir online and probably deserves far more nuance than we have the space to examine here. That said, a larger discussion should arise from this considering both gentlemen had points to make but couldn’t be exhaustive in their explanations.
