For All The Dogs, the upcoming eighth solo studio album from Drake was slated to be released late last month but was held back for reasons unknown to the public. Now, the Canadian superstar has revealed the release date for the highly anticipated project, doing so by sharing an older performance video of his father.
For All The Dogs was thought to be released on August 25 but when the day came and went without the album on DSPs, some fans felt duped. Typically, when Drake teases a project using his massive social media reach, music of some sort typically follows. As it stands, the OVO Sound honcho decided to hold the project back, perhaps due to tweaks, sample clearances, features, and a variety of other possibilities.
Using an old performance video of his father, Dennis Graham, the caption of the video reads, “FOR ALL THE DOGS SEPTEMBER 22” as Graham takes the stage for the Stormy Monday With Danny Marks show, a CBC network program that ran in the 1980s. In the clip, it appears that Graham, a musician from Memphis, Tenn., and Marks were good friends with one another as Marks referred to Graham as his cousin.
Graham showed off some impressive Blues vocals in the clip, connecting the closeness that Drake shares with his father and highlighting his musical lineage.
For All The Dogs will be released on September 22.

A Prince George’s County police officer is the subject of an investigation after video of him getting in the backseat of a cruiser with another woman went wide on social media. Prince George’s County Police Department officials released a statement regarding the situation, which is still developing.
As seen on local news outlet WTOP, Prince George’s County police shared the officer’s name, Cpl. Francesco Marlett. The department says it has launched an internal investigation into the matter but hasn’t offered any precise details to the public.
“PGPD Executive Command is aware of a video circulating on social media with one of our officers, the department shared via its @PGPDNews account on X, formerly known as Twitter. “As soon as we became aware earlier today, we opened an investigation to determine the circumstances. Additional information will be released once investigated and confirmed.”
The video in question first started to bubble on TikTok before spreading across other social media hubs. The man who took the video also spoke publicly about the matter
“I couldn’t believe what I was recording because it’s not something that you see every day, a cop going to the back of a patrol car in the uniform to do…I don’t know what,” Nelson Ochoa, the Clinton, Maryland, man who took the video, said in a statement. “It was a public park with kids running around.”
The incident occurred on Monday (Sept. 4) at a park in Oxon Hill, Md., a nearby suburb of Washington, D.C.
The outlet reached out to the Fraternal Order of Police in Prince George’s County and a union rep asked for privacy and patience on behalf of Cpl. Marlett.
“We ask that our officer be given the same consideration that any other person would ask for in that you reserve judgment until all of the facts are known and the videos are put into context,” the police union said to WTOP.
Some online have noted that police officers aren’t allowed to have civilians inside their service vehicles for reasons outside an arrest or transport.

Before the scorching success of Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion and more, many pioneers broke through the seams of hip-hop and paved the way for generations to come. Hip-hop’s first female artist was MC Sha-Rock, who originally started as a Funky 4 + 1 group member. Following Sha-Rock were MC Lyte and Roxanne Shanté, who further fortified the lanes of female hip-hop with their presence in the ’80s. Queen Latifah, Lil’ Kim, Salt-N-Pepa, Foxy Brown, Missy Elliott and Eve were among some of the thriving stars in the ’90s and ‘2000s who placed the welcome mat for women looking to step onto the scene.
Even with contrasting styles, their lyrics, individuality and unshakable confidence were the ingredients needed to step inside the lion’s den and prove to be fierce competitors alongside their male counterparts.
“It’s took years, but it’s just that time. They’re not going to be held back,” Nas tells Billboard regarding the feats of female rappers.
Today, sisterhood in hip-hop is at an all-time high, as many collaborations find female artists pairing together and, in some cases, legacy acts joining forces with rookie talents.
“We have our own fanbases, messages, shows — our own everything,” says Baby Tate. “I don’t really see any of this as a competition. Everybody has their own story.”

Jadakiss and Dave East get together for a special edition of the popular I Got Questions interview series to mark Hip-Hop’s 50th Anniversary.
The celebration of Hip-Hop turning 50 is still going strong, and many have come together to talk about their experiences and love for the different aspects of the culture. In that light, two of the greatest MCs in rap music in Jadakiss and Dave East linked up to share their stories in a new episode of the iONE Digital series to mark the occasion.

As both artists hold court in a luxurious speakeasy lounge, Dave East kicks things off by asking The LOX veteran if he remembered the first time they met. “Not at all”, Jadakiss stated. “Every time you’d come up to D-Block, I wouldn’t be around. But I heard about you and heard your music way before I met you.”
The conversation turn to focus on when both rappers felt that they were among the best in the game. For Jadakiss, it was being beloved by The Notorious B.I.G. “We used to write rhymes that we wanted him to hear. Then after being signed to Bad Boy, having him tell us “I’m glad y’all are down with me…”that’s a cream-of-the-crop moment right there.” Dave East concurred, citing a co-sign from Nas as his moment. “Having Esco co-sign me, then it was Rae, Meth and the Wu?,” he said. “Gotta cherish that moment man.”
They also spoke about the love they receive from fans on the road, with Dave East recounting how amazed he was on a recent tour date in Canada seeing fans recite songs word for word. It prompted Jadakiss to recall what he called “the worst show ever in life” involving him and a lack of comfortable boxers.

Mitch McConnell once more appeared to have a medical episode during a meeting with the press, sparking some people from his own party to question the Kentucky Republican’s health. This is the second time in weeks that Sen. McConnell has appeared to freeze up while taking questions from the media.
As reported by the Associated Press, Mitch McConnell was captured on video by local Kentucky news station WLWT answering a question about a 2026 reelection bid on Wednesday (August 30). While attempting to answer, McConnell, 81, began to speak and then stared off at the throng for several seconds before he was assisted. The moment was similar to an event weeks ago in Washington where McConnell froze up while speaking to reporters.
In all, McConnell appeared unable to speak for half a minute before resuming. The moment in Covington, Ky. underscores concerns about McConnell’s age and concerns around his health. Back in July at a news conference at the Capitol building, McConnell was rushed away from speaking by aides and came back to continue to answer the media.
McConnell also returned to speak at the Covington event but did not answer the 2026 campaign question and was not speaking as clearly as he normally would. The aide ended the news conference and led McConnell away.
A press statment from McConnell’s office states that the senator was feeling “lightheaded” and would consult with a doctor before his next appearance. Prior to the freezing moment, McConnell showed no signs of issues speaking and communicating.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, reactions to Sen. Mitch McConnell appearing to freeze up have cropped up. We have reactions from all sides below.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican Party presidential candidate, will no longer be able to play the music from one of Hip-Hop’s most celebrated stars while on the campaign trail. Eminem, via the BMI organization, filed a cease-and-desist letter towards Ramaswamy over the track “Lose Yourself,” who says he will comply but not without taking a swipe at the veteran rapper.
Daily Mail exclusively reports that BMI informed Ramaswamy’s campaign office of Eminem’s desire to no longer license the song for use during his run for the White House.
Related Stories
The outlet adds that the letter from BMI was dated August 23 which said they “received communications from Marshall B. Mathers, III, professionally known as Eminem, objecting to the Vivek Ramaswamy campaign’s use of Eminem’s musical compositions (the “Eminem Works”) and requesting that BMI remove all Eminem Works from the Agreement.”
Ramaswamy was seen rapping a version of “Lose Yourself” at the Iowa State Fair and, as per BMI’s request on behalf of the rapper born Marshall Mathers III, he will no longer have the rights to do so.
Ramaswamy, 38, has emerged of late as an outspoken candidate full of quips and soundbites and is the youngest candidate among the presidential hopefuls that include the likes of Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott, former Vice President Mike Pence, and current Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The businessman made an appearance on MSNBC and fired back at Eminem over the “Lose Yourself” cease-and-desist, challenging the rapper’s politics. Most might know that Eminem has been critical of the so-called MAGA movement and former President Donald Trump so it appears clear where his political affiliations are placed.

At this point, it’s clear that folks in the MAGA world are running out of new ways to embarrass themselves and are trying and failing miserably at being more creative.
You might remember Kurt Jantz aka Forgiato Blow, the Trump-humping faux rapper who periodically drops political Hip-Hop videos on YouTube that prove he knows absolutely nothing about politics or Hip-Hop. (But if we’re ever looking for the greatest white supr-emcee of Hick Hop, we know who to call.)
Well, now the Ted Nugent of Bubba Sparxxxes has a new video featuring host Dan Ball of One America News Network, which is basically a less popular Fox News with an even more insidious misinformation mission to make dummies dumber. This Time, Forgiato’s song titled “Real America” takes aim at the latest indictment of ex-commander-in-would-be-thief Donald Trump in Georgia.
[embedded content]
In the video, the Kid Rock of Insane Clown Possies wore a shirt with a photoshopped image of Trump’s mugshot, which means either the video was filmed before his actual mugshot was released, or because Forgiato, like all MAGA marauders, simply prefers the lie to the truth.
In the video, Forgiato repeats the popular MAGA strawman argument that simply questioning the election results isn’t illegal. Of course, smart people understand that neither Trump nor any of his 18 alleged co-conspirators have been charged under Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute just for vocally questioning the results of the 2020 presidential race. Smart people also understand how easy a thing it is to look up exactly what offenses Trump and friends are accused of committing.
But Forgiato isn’t a smart person, and neither is Ball or whoever watches his generic brand right-wing propaganda network. They are, however, cringey and oozing with secondhand embarrassment. Or in the case of some of the employees down at Own, firsthand embarrassment.
From the Daily Beast:
The video is guaranteed secondhand embarrassment for any viewers not fully living a MAGA alt-reality. And OAN employees seemed to realize that, as two people familiar with the matter told Confider that some staffers walked out prior to filming because they didn’t want to be a part of it. One OAN employee added that staffers generally did not know about the video shoot until the last minute and just went along with it. Much of the finger-pointing was aimed directly at Ball: “I need to leave OAN ASAP! I am sick and tired of Dan Ball’s antics, and so are so many others,” one current OAN anchor wrote to Confider. Other current and former staffers told Confider they are “officially taking OAN off my resume after watching this” or that they “can’t stop laughing” at the “bizarre” video.
It probably doesn’t help that Ball can be seen awkwardly trying to catch the vibe with stiff movements that almost looked like he was trying to dance a little, but in a claps-on-the-one-and-three-fifths kind of way.
To be fair, he might have been trying to match that smooth and impeccable Trump rhythm.
If only these people were smart enough to know shame.
They not though.
