It seems G. Dep is looking to resurrect his music career. He says he is looking to reconnect with Diddy despite his pending legal issues.

As reported by HipHopDX the Harlem, New York, native was recently released after serving over 10 years in prison for a robbery-turned murder. In December 2023, his 15-years to life sentence was commuted by Governor Kathy Hochul and he was released earlier this month. Now, as a free man he has conducted multiple interviews with various media outlets. Recently, he spoke to Fox 5 New York about his plans post prison and recording new music.

He also made it clear that the public shouldn’t be so quick to condemn Diddy when it comes to his ongoing legal issues. “I’m like, ‘When? When did that happen?’” G. Dep said. “We were in the studio for months on end with each other. So I don’t know where this is coming from. People should give people the benefit of the doubt. If somebody just saying that you did something, you know people can say anything.” He then went on to directly address the Bad Boy Entertainment executive saying “[I] got a lot of songs, bro. I’m looking for you so we can get some type of musical situation going.”

Nardo Wick is about to catch a hefty lawsuit. A fan of the rapper allegedly got knocked out by his entourage for what’s being reported as the faux pas of…asking for a photo.

Footage hit the Internet of what looks like a fan approaching the rapper and his weed carries, baggage handlers or such variety of hangers on, seeking a flick. Instead, he caught a vicious blow to the head, knocking him out cold before he seemed to slam his head on the pavement after getting hit again.
Someone who says they are the victim’s son relayed that the guy was just seeking a photo with their “favorite artist” when he got punched out. TMZ reports the incident went down in Tampa, and the vic is a 20-year-old who was hospitalized.

While Nardo’s dusty “security” team surely thought they were scoring points with the rapper, it’s a safe bet that it’s their boss who will be catching the lawsuit. Also, law enforcement is also looking for them, so it’s only a matter of time before someone dimes them out.
X, formerly known as Twitter, users are chiming in and the consensus is that Nardo’s team was out of pocket and the nerve of them for acting so maliciously to someone—if the seeking an autograph story holds true. Either way, we hope the victim is alright because that was a massive hit to the head.

NBA YoungBoy is one of the most popular young rappers in the game, but he has been consistently plagued by legal issues over the course of his career. The Baton Rouge star is now being accused of ordering two women to brutally assault the mother of one of his children, and the images connected to the allegations are disturbing.
Arcola, the mother of one of the rapper’s 11 children, claims that NBA YoungBoy ordered two women while attempting to drop their son off at his residence, presumably in Utah where he has been under house arrest. Arcola shared the chilling details via X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Watch who you have kids by. My son dad let his whoreS yes whores with an S cause it was 2 of them weak ass hoes. He gave them an order to get me lol you know b*tches who never came from sh*t gone do it. My son was in my hands. His dad just sat back and watched smh,” Arcola shared on Monday (November 6), complete with photos of her reported injuries.
She continued with, “Mind you I dropped my son off the end of August he wanted me to come get him 2 weeks into him being there. So I told him keep him 2 more weeks. He was pissed lmao I just feel like if you ain’t gone help me financially you gone help physically.”
The messages go on with Arcola writing, “I would be wrong if I pressed charges on yall for doing me like this with my baby in my hand. But karma gone eat yall asses up. I got my son back I’m happy that’s all that matters fr. 5 stitches later. And her punk ass fist ain’t do that shorty had sum.”
A quick scan of NBA YoungBoy’s Instagram page doesn’t address Arcola’s claims and the latest image showcases the rapper flanked by two women. Some fans in the comments are alleging that these are the women who allegedly assaulted Arcola but that cannot be confirmed.

We are going to share Arcola’s thread but must warn readers that the images within may be sensitive to some. Proceed cautiously.

Dwight Howard is in the middle of an ongoing lawsuit alleging that he sexually assaulted a man over the summer and orchestrated an unwelcomed threesome, and now he’s speaking out. After Mase discussed the matter on his podcast with co-host Cam’Ron, Dwight Howard has choice words in response.
Earlier this week on the It Is What It Is talk show with Cam’Ron and Mase, the Harlem rapper and broadcaster mentioned Howard’s situation involving a man named Stephen Harper bringing a lawsuit against him. In Harper’s lawsuit, he alleges that Howard invited him to his home for a physical encounter but was blindsided by a transperson by the name of Kitty which Harper didn’t initially agree with.

Mase, as it usually happens on It Is What It Is, had their unique take on the situation with the host noting that if the act was indeed consensual, nothing about bringing in another person without their knowledge would come off as consent.
Check out Mase’s side of things in the video below from It Is What It Is. Start at the 43:00-minute mark for the comments referenced above.

Catching wind of Mase’s comments, Howard appeared to have responded via Instagram Live, telling onlookers like Mr. Betha to mind their beeswax. You can watch his response courtesy of @shannonsharpeee’s X account below.

It seems that Cardi B might be able to settle a legal issue that has been following her for years. Her assault trial has been postponed so she can work it out with her accuser.

Radar Online is reporting that the Bronx, New York native might have a chance to come to an agreement regarding a standing legal matter. Five years ago she was accused of assaulting a security guard in Los Angeles. Emani Ellis says the “I Like It” rapper was exiting her obstetrician’s office in Los Angeles, California. A then pregnant Bardi allegedly starting attacking Ellis after the security guard reportedly started filming her. Ellis would follow up with a lawsuit in 2020 stating that she suffered “physical, emotional, and psychological damages” and was left with a scar on her cheek.

Last week the celebrity gossip website obtained documents that were filed on October 12. The filing requested that the trial be pushed back to 2024 so they can hopefully settle the case via mediation. “Parties in an attempt to resolve this matter have agreed to a mediation with mediator John W. Shaw, Esq. at Shaw Mediations, and the parties are working on scheduling the mediation for December of 2023” the paperwork read. “As trial of the action is scheduled for November 14, 2023, the Parties have agreed to continue the trial date from November 14, 2023 to February 1, 2024 in order to accommodate the mediation, and to attempt to informally resolve their dispute”.
TMZ claims that an unnamed witness who was present described the incident very different saying things didn’t get physical and a staff member stepped in to break up the two women. Cardi B has yet to publicly comment on the matter.

Travis Scott has one less problem to worry about. The Texas rapper has settled his recent case where he apparently raised hell at a nightclub.

As spotted on TMZ the Houston, Texas native has cashed out on a looming legal issue. The celebrity gossip outlet reports that last week he settled his dispute with the staff at Nebula in New York City. Back on March 1 he and his crew were performing a surprise set at the hot spot but were not doing the best job with the audio. Their resident engineer says he went to the rapper and suggested he lower the volume so the sound could be better heard during the performance.

The man, who will only identify himself as Mark, spoke to FOX 5 and gave his side on what occurred. “I was trying to tell him to lower it so it sounded good for the performance,” he explained. “But he just stuck his middle finger in my face, so I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.” He went on to say that the volume was so high “it was distorting the sound system.”
TMZ claims a source with “direct knowledge” of the situation says that Cactus Jack has settled the issue with the venue and “Mr. Mark”. It is unclear how much he had to pay but it should be noted that he also damaged some audio equipment which is estimated to be worth at least $12,000.00. The New York Police Department has confirmed this is still an open case but did admit that the victim has stopped cooperating.
Travis Scott has not commented on the matter.

Jonathan Majors, one of Hollywood’s hottest stars at the moment, was arrested Saturday night (May 25) in New York on assault and other charges in the wake of a reported domestic dispute. As news of the arrest went wide, many on social media came forth adding to the allegations of abuse and the like with onlookers rendered shocked by the arrest.
TMZ was among the first outlet to report on the arrest of Jonathan Majors, this after police responded to a 911 call around 11 AM local time in Manhattan. According to corresponding police reports, Majors was booked on strangulation, assault, and harassment charges.
TMZ obtained a quote from a rep for Majors, who denies that the actor was involved in any wrongdoing.
“He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up,” the rep said.
The outlet, by way of sources, say that the woman who brought charges against Majors is his girlfriend. According to the source, the girlfriend saw another woman texting Majors and tried to look at his phone thus leading to him allegedly slapping her and putting his hands around her neck.
On Twitter, the reaction to Jonathan Majors and his arrest has been all over the place with some defending the 33-year-old star and others coming forth with their own stories of allegations.
Majors starred in two major motion pictures this year in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Creed III. As a result, Majors was seen as the newest “It” star but this current situation has many questioning their initial support.
We will update this post should further developments arise.

Opening statements kicked off the highly anticipated trial over whether Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot two years ago.

Los Angeles prosecutors hope to convict Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson) of three felony charges over the July 12, 2020 incident, in which he allegedly shot Stallion in the foot during an argument after a pool party in the Hollywood Hills.

In October 2020, he was charged with one count of assault with a firearm and another gun possession charge. On Dec. 6, 2022, just one week before the trial began, the L.A. district attorney’s office added a new, third count of discharging a firearm with gross negligence. If convicted on all three charges, Lanez faces 22 years in prison. Yet Lanez, 30, has maintained his innocence and looked poised to fight for it while arriving at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center Monday morning (Dec. 12) in a cool mint suit and white turtleneck while holding his son’s hand as he entered the packed courtroom with the rest of his entourage.

Prosecutors argued that the shooting took place shortly after Stallion, Lanez and her former friend Kelsey Harris all attended a pool party at Kylie Jenner‘s house on the night of July 11, 2020. As they left in a black Cadillac Escalade driven by Lanez’s security guard Jauquan Smith, L.A. County District Defense Attorney Alexander Bott said an argument between Stallion and Lanez, whom he claimed had “been intimate” with one another, erupted after “Meg had insulted his skills as a musical artist.” She then exited the vehicle before Lanez allegedly grabbed and pointed a gun, yelled “Dance, bi—!” and fired five rounds, which Bott played the audio of twice during his statement. Prosecutors claim that “she was bleeding, she was injured” after Lanez struck both of Stallion’s feet.

And while arguing that Harris, who is expected to testify during the trial, “will tell you her close friend was shot by the defendant,” Bott also claimed the defendant “pulled her by the hair and “either punched her or slapped her.” He showed a screenshot of three consecutive text messages Harris sent to Stallion’s bodyguard, Justin Edison, at 4:27 a.m., just minutes after the shooting: “Help. Tory shot meg. 911.” After responding to 911 calls from neighbors, police officers — some of whom were called by prosecutors to take the stand today as witnesses — conducted a high-risk traffic stop on Hollywood Blvd., where they found a gun on the floorboard of the front passenger seat, where Lanez had been sitting.

Bott says while Stallion was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where a doctor extracted three major bullet fragments from her foot while performing surgery, Harris, Lanez and Smith went to the Hollywood police station and underwent testing for gunshot residue, which Lanez, Harris and two other people at the scene tested positive for. Other evidence the prosecutors brought in included a recording of a phone call Lanez made from jail to Harris at 9:05 a.m., approximately five hours after the shooting, where he profusely apologized and admitted he was “so drunk,” and a screenshot of his text to Stallion at 8:59 p.m., when he wrote, “Meg. I know you prolly never gone to talk to me again. But I genuinely want u to know I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart. And I was just too drunk .”

Bott ultimately argued that Harris’ texts to Edison claiming the defendant shot Stallion, the gun being “warm to the touch” (meaning it was consistent with a recent firing, Officer Sandra Cabral claimed in her testimony later on), the doctor who performed surgery on Stallion’s foot and found bullet fragments, the call Lanez made to Harris in jail hours after the shooting, and his apology text to Stallion should all point to the defendant being guilty.

But Lanez’s lead attorney George Mgdesyan argued, “This case is about jealousy” before painting a different scene at Jenner’s pool party and diving into Lanez, Stallion and Harris’ tumultuous relationship. He suggested Stallion was triggered by seeing Lanez and Jenner hanging in the pool together, causing her to want to leave the party with Lanez. They eventually left with Harris and Smith, the latter of whom drove them in the black SUV, but Mgdesyan stated Stallion had left some of her belongings at Jenner’s house and made the foursome return. “She was so drunk, she was so jealous,” he claimed, that the billionaire makeup mogul told the “Savage” rapper to leave the party because she was causing a scene.

The defense claimed that Stallion then started an argument with Lanez during their car ride back for initially not wanting to leave with her and instead wanting to stay with Jenner. When Harris sided with her, the Alone at Prom singer questioned her allegiance and exposed that Stallion had a sexual relationship with him behind Harris’ back, since Harris and Lanez had been linked together first. Lanez seems to have corroborated his claim in a tweet from February 2022 when he wrote that the apology text he had sent Stallion mere hours after the shooting was due to “good d*ick had me f—ing 2 best friends …. and I got caught.”

According to the defense, Stallion had also been romantically involved with fellow rapper DaBaby and NBA player Ben Simmons right after Harris had dated both men. Mgdesyan zeroed in on the physical altercation that allegedly ensued between Harris and Stallion in the car and mentioned that a witness named Sean Kelly, whom he said police interviewed minutes after the shooting because their SUV was parked by his house, saw Harris get out from the back seat of the car, open Stallion’s front passenger door and “saw a fist fight between the girls” before one of them held a gun. The defense ultimately posed the theory that Harris may have been the one who discharged the gun and shot Stallion.

Mgdesyan also argued “[Stallion’s] lying about her story,” pointing to the numerous interviews she’s given with news outlets and police as well as Instagram Lives she’s held in the last two years. He questioned why the rapper initially told police officers she cut her foot stepping on broken glass before claiming she had suffered a gunshot wound days later. After media outlets reported that Lanez had fired the gun, Stallion directly accused him in an August 2020 Instagram video. The defense also suggested Stallion was not completely truthful during her CBS Mornings interview with Gayle King from April 2022, when she denied having an intimate relationship with his client. Mgdesyan also acknowledged the apology messages Lanez sent to both women, which prosecutors showed earlier, and argued that his client never mentioned a gun or shooting in his call to Harris or text to Stallion but apologized for “cheating on them, having a sexual relationship with both of them” and not disclosing that either of them.

Stallion, 27, is expected to testify in court Tuesday (Dec. 13). It still remains unclear if Lanez will testify. The Gathering for Justice, a non-profit founded in 2005 by Harry Belafonte, has partnered with multiple women’s and violence prevention organizations to organize a rally outside of the county criminal courthouse in support of the three-time Grammy-winning rapper before she takes the stand on Tuesday.  “We are committed to spreading the message that violence is not the answer. We know the time is now to advocate for victims of violence, particularly violence against Black women,” said president/CEO Carmen Perez-Jordan in a press statement. Her sentiments align with Stallion’s “protect Black women” message that she’s been spreading in countless interviews and performances, including her October 2020 Saturday Night Live performance and New York Times op-ed, in which she she wrote “There’s not much room for passionate advocacy if you are a Black woman.”
