Ultimate Rap League (URL), the leading battle rap league, is hosting its Homecoming II event this coming Sunday (December 10) and will cap one of the busiest weekends in battle rap. On Saturday, two events are kicking ahead of URL’s big event.
Before Homecoming II pits headliners Murda Mook against Nu Jerzey Twork and Geechi Gotti against Serius Jones, battle rap fans will be feasting all day Saturday (December 9) with two thrilling cards, and Caffeine is hosting all of the events live and on-demand.
Via the Queen Of The Ring network, Panic Room 7 will see 40 B.A.R.R.S. out of Boston, Mass. taking on Coffee Brown from San Bernardino, Calif. at the Lotus Lounge in Brooklyn, N.Y. The other battles on the card are Shooney Da Rapper vs. Casey Jay, Tia.S vs. Cheyraq, Jay Love vs. Torture, Frank Nittii vs. Big Ice, Rocq Lee vs. Mallorei X, and DaeDoe DaGawd vs. LS.
Via the iBattleTV page on Caffeine, Culture 6 kicks off with headliners Tay Roc out of Baltimore, Md. and Febou out of Springfield, Mass going to battle at 73 Wave Street in Staten Island, N.Y. Also on the Culture 6 cards are Oppa vs. A Ward, Deth The Kid vs. DNA, Soul Khan vs. Homeskool, and more.
It should be noted that both of the cards mentioned above are pay-for-view events via Caffeine.
Ultimate Rap League, widely referred to as URL, will put on Homecoming II at New York’s Irving Plaza on Sunday (December 10) with Murda Mook out of Harlem against Nu Jerzey Twork out of New Jersey. The stacked card features URL vets like T-Rex vs. Chess, Swamp vs. Lu Castro, Ms Hustle vs. Arsonal, and Shotgun Suge vs. Ace Amin.

Joe Budden is no stranger to attracting controversy, especially after his ascension as one of the top podcasters in entertainment media. After Joe Budden critiqued the music and talent of NBA YoungBoy, which prompted a fiery response, the retired rapper apologized for the jab.
It has been a month of apologies for Joe Budden, this after he called Lupe Fiasco a “clout chaser” for rapping over one of Andre 3000’s songs from the Outkast rapper’s instrumental New Blue Sun album.
Because of the reach of Budden’s voice, his critiques typically find their way to the target. NBA YoungBoy was a topic on a recent episode of Budden’s eponymously named podcast where he called the Lousiana rapper “horrible” and didn’t understand how he’s got his streaming numbers as high as they’ve been.
NBA YoungBoy went on a fiery video rant, blasting Budden’s fame, and also took a shot at the rapper’s sexual prowess among other choice words. NBA also invited Budden to “Gravedigger Mountain,” which we can assume is the rapper’s residence in the mountains.
On the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden apologized to NBA around the 26-minute mark of the show, explaining that he listened back and didn’t like how he attacked the young rapper’s musical ability. Because Budden is typically masterful at the craft of podcasting, he joked around a bit in his response, but the apology didn’t lack sincerity.

Nick Cannon is hosting an event in Las Vegas on Thursday night (December 7) with sponsorship from Cannon’s company and The Zeus Network. Fans on X are roasting Nick Cannon after a flier for the Bad Vs. Wild Las Vegas event featured text framing the face-off as a battle of dark-skinned and light-skinned women.
Back in October, a trailer for the Bad Vs. Wild Las Vegas event was unveiled, which appears to be styled like a baddies version of Cannon’s popular Wild ‘n Out series. Based on the description in the trailer, which we’ll share below, this is a new series that will film its first season live in Las Vegas and tonight’s taping will also feature Sukihana as a musical guest.

X user @KMZWRLD shared a tweet featuring the flier in question, which has since been quoted and retweeted several times so far. It isn’t clear where the flier originally came from and we’re still trying to locate the source.
Based on our research, it doesn’t appear that Cannon nor The Zeus Network has billed this show as a “dark-skin vs. light-skin” but a flier featuring that text on the front is making its rounds on social media and fans are ticked off. The link on the flier to join the studio audience also appears to work but is different from the link that Zeus is promoting on its pages, which isn’t operational.
As we saw on Zeus’ Instagram page, the Bad Vs. Wild taping has been happening all week with French Montana and GloRilla performing in earlier events. Again, we’re still not seeing anything featuring the colorism battle working from any of the main players involved so we are not claiming that the flier in question is an official release.

Kid Cudi has never hidden the fact that he is a proud native of Cleveland, Ohio, and he’s making sure certain people speaking about his life never forget that fact. The rapper and actor had sharp words for Rich Paul, who claimed that the 216 doesn’t regard Kid Cudi as one of their own.
The artist born Scott Mescudi took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to hit back at Rich Paul saying that Cleveland doesn’t show up for Cudder. Paul was a guest on the BS With Jake Paul show to discuss the finer points of his career, growing up in Ohio, working with LeBron James, sports agent talk, and more.
In the chat, the pair, who both hail from Cleveland as well, directed the conversation to the idea that the city and Cudi are at odds. Jake Paul posed a question about how Cudi seemingly treats the city without citing any real examples, prompting Rich Paul to say that the city never embraced him, adding, “You can’t expect somebody to treat a situation any different than how they were treated.”
JP then made mention of a moment between him and Cudi where he asked the rapper to come perform during one of his boxing match walkouts in their hometown and the fee was too high for the popular YouTuber. JP felt that Cudi should’ve put on for the city and fostered some goodwill.

Im not some guy that comes out to perform at boxing matches. I entertained it tho cuz it was u, and tho it went against what I stand for I submitted a fee. My fee is my fee. Especially for some sh*t thats not my style. If im gonna do it its gonna be worth it for my pockets and time. This is business baby. Im not these other rappin ass n*ggas that will show up for a lil check. U came to me u shoulda knew what time it was young man. U dont know me either to say im anything broski. So theres that. Jamie Foxx had a health scare earlier this year that had fans and his peers alike wishing for his speedy recovery from the unknown illness. During a Critics Choice Association event ahead of the TV nominations, Foxx won an award and addressed his health journey during his acceptance speech.
As shared via the CCA’s X account, Jamie Foxx was among several people honored at the CCA event that honored Black, Latino, and AAPI performers and industry talent at the Fairmont Century Plaza on Monday (December 4). Foxx, 55, earned the Vanguard Award for his performance in Amazon Prime’s The Burial.
“You know, it’s crazy, I couldn’t do that six months ago, I couldn’t actually walk,” Foxx began in his speech after walking out to loud applause “I wouldn’t wish what I went through on my worst enemy, because it’s tough.”
At several points of the speech, Foxx was moved emotionally by the memory of the moment and the response from the crowd. Ultimately, the scare made Foxx more appreciative of the little things now.
Earlier this year, Foxx was on the set of the film Back In Action. He suffered a medical emergency that halted production of the film and kept him out of the limelight as he recovered while keeping details of his emergency and healing close to family and friends.

Along with those names, K-Pop stars BLACKPINK will be highlighted in BLACKPINK: VR Encore, which was filmed during the Born Pink World Tour finale show at the Gocheok Sky Dome in South Korea with The Diamond Bros serving as producers.
Red Rocks Live will also deliver a VR experience with acts like Louis The Child rocking the major venue of Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado with other acts set to grace the stage in this developing partnership with Dorsey Pictures.

That means it’s time to sign up for the Music Valley experience and take in all the sights and sounds that extend far beyond concerts with mini-games, DJ sets and more to do inside the valley.

Birdman, who comes across as someone who isn’t about the funnies, issued a warning to retired rapper turned top podcaster, Joe Budden. The Cash Money Records honcho told Budden to halt his critiques of NBA YoungBoy and leave the Louisiana rapper alone, this after YoungBoy shared some thoughts too.
On episode 680 of The Joe Budden Podcast, the cast spoke briefly about the latest single from NBA YoungBoy, which turned into a moment for Budden to express his disdain for the rapper, who is currently on house arrest in Utah. Among the rappers of his generation, YoungBoy has a lengthy discography despite his relative youth and a highly supportive fanbase.
Although Birdman hails from New Orleans, YoungBoy has expressed sincere admiration for the mogul and explained that the pair are friends despite hailing from two different cities in their home state. That connection was on full display after the New Orleans boss took to Instagram Stories and sternly told Budden to back off from commenting on his young colleague.
“@JOEBUDDEN YOU F*KIN WITH SOMETHIN YOU SHOULD LEAVE ALONE,” read a portion of the message, which features an image of YoungBoy’s fiery response to Budden in which he also took a dig at the “Pump It Up” star’s sexual prowess along with telling Budden to not “rat” on him and inviting him to Gravedigger Mountain, which is presumably where the rapper lives in the Beehive State.
As one can imagine, NBA YoungBoy’s fanbase is giving Joe Budden the business due to the fact that he’s no longer an official Hip-Hop artist. Some on the other side are saying that because Budden was indeed nice in his day, he has a right to his opinion. Further, some are wondering why the opinion of a, in their words, failed rapper, has artists reacting in this fashion.

Boosie Badazz might be the first rapper to be told to “get over it” after someone blatantly stole his lyrics and hook for a song. After Rod Wave recorded and released the track “Long Journey” without giving Boosie any writing or publishing credit, the Lousiana rapper says he’s ready to get litigious with his younger peer.
In recent Instagram Live videos, Boosie Badazz explained that he and Rod Wave did try to work things out behind the scenes over the track “Long Journey,” which appears on Wave’s Nostalgia album. The track shares the same name as Boosie’s 2010 track and has the same chorus.
In one video, Boosie says he would’ve called off the suit for $200,000 and 25% in royalties going forward but Wave tried to talk Boosie down on the cost according to his account. Boosie also raised a fair point in saying that the use of the track and him speaking out from a legal standpoint made fans, quote, “choose sides.”
In another video, Boosie shares that he doesn’t own 100% of “Long Journey” but he does have songwriting and publishing credits on the track and just wants his fair share. The video below displays Boosie’s side of things.
The pushback from fans without law degrees is that they’re framing Boosie Badazz as trying to shake down Rod Wave for money he doesn’t deserve. Further, some are speculating that the label that put out Boosie’s “Long Journey” track might be pulling a fast one but that doesn’t explain if Wave and his producers actually cleared and paid for the use of the song and hook.

Roger Bonds, a former head of security for Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was named in the explosive lawsuit brought by Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, has vowed to tell his side of the story. Bonds was named in Cassie’s lawsuit and seemingly backed up claims made by the singer in a recent video.
Roger Bonds, who worked with Diddy over a decade ago, took to his Instagram page on Tuesday (November 28) to share his side of the story. In Cassie’s lawsuit, Bonds was mentioned as the individual who stopped a violent moment between her and Combs. While Bonds never mentions Combs by name, he added that the incident named in the lawsuit was just one of many.
Bonds added in the description of the Instagram post that more details would emerge and it appears he is gearing up to release a documentary or book as the hashtags for the post read “#2FacesTHEDOCUMENTARY” and “#ROGERBONDSMYTRUTH.”
After sharing the video and the potentially damning information within, it appears that Bonds has deleted his Instagram page for reasons unknown to us. Given the fact that Cassie settled the case one day after bringing the lawsuit to Diddy, it could be speculated that Bonds cannot legally speak on the case although, to our knowledge, he had no such agreement with Combs.
