Shannon Sharpe Returns To ‘Undisputed’ With Class, Skip Bayless Showed His Ass

Shannon Sharpe was notably absent on Tuesday’s (Jan. 3) broadcast of Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, with many speculating it was due to what was perceived as an insensitive tweet made by his co-host, Skip Bayless. The former NFL great returned to the set of the show and faced off with Bayless where things got tense as Sharpe attempted to explain his absence.

In a clip circulating on social media that has since gone viral, Shannon Sharpe, 54, attempts to no avail to explain why he wasn’t available for Undisputed yesterday and made mention of the chilling incident on Monday Night Football that saw Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin collapse on the field. Visibly shaken even during his explanation, Sharpe was unable to get through his statement without Bayless cutting him off.

At issue was a tweet Bayless made where he wrote, “[N]o doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

Bayless apologized for the tweet but, as Sharpe noted in his opening, it remains on Bayless’ Twitter feed and he defiantly told Sharpe that he wasn’t removing it. This ignited a brief back and forth between the two hosts and nothing was actually resolved. Many took note of Sharpe’s resolve and attempts to bring balance to the show while Bayless reduced those good efforts into dust in our opinion.

Amerie Fried On The Timeline Over NBA Halftime Performance

Amerie, one of the top vocalists of the early 2000s, is still very much a beloved star due to tracks like “Why Don’t We Fall In Love” and the singer’s “1 Thing” hit. Amerie, who hasn’t released a full-length album since 2009, appeared at an NBA halftime show and Twitter is delivering commentary about the performance that doesn’t seem too favorable.

On Thursday, (Dec. 22), Amerie found her name trending on Twitter after someone shared a tweet featuring a video of her performance at last night’s (Dec. 21) game between the visiting Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings. The All I Have star did her best to power through the performance but most felt like the appearance was lacking.

Amerie released a pair of well-received EPs, 4AM Mulholland and After 4AM, back in 2018 and undertook the production, songwriting, and arrangements herself. She’s also kept busy as an author, publishing and contributing to a number of books thus far, and also runs a YouTube page devoted to books, beauty, and other topics.

Camila McMillie, a mom of two traveling out of Miami International Airport, was arrested after losing her children and having an outburst this week. In a now-viral video clip, McMillie was seen destroying equipment at the airport after she couldn’t locate her children and faces a number of charges.

As reported by the outlet Local 10, Camila McMillie, 25, was traveling to New York out of Miami on Tuesday (Dec. 20) and became irate with American Airlines workers after she couldn’t locate her children. According to reports, the children went to the bathroom without informing their mother, promoting her to request help from the staff. It isn’t known or wasn’t shared in the reporting if airline workers attempted to assist McMillie, but the moment sparked a violent fit of rage.

The video that surfaced online shows McMillie grabbing a computer monitor from a counter and throwing it at an airline employee, and snatching the digital boarding pass reader from its base. The video was obtained by the online account @OnlyInDade and is making its rounds on social media.

McMillie’s children, ages six and eight, were found to be unharmed. However, McMillie was detained by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer and arrested by local police.

Camila McMillie faces a number of charges, including aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and more.

Ozzy Osbourne Reacts to ‘Patient Number 9′ Grammy Nominations: ‘The Whole Thing Shocked Me’

Ozzy Osbourne earned four Grammy nominations for his Patient Number 9 album, and he tells Billboard that the nods were an unexpected, yet welcome, surprise.

“The whole thing shocked me,” he says in a new interview with Lyndsey Havens. “I mean, if I won anything for the album I’ll be floored.”

“That’s what I like about the business. It’s never short of — I love surprises,” he adds in the clip of the Q&A above.

Osbourne says he’s “kind of excited for being nominated for the best rock album” for Patient Number 9, which topped Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums chart in September. He’s also nominated for best rock song and best rock performance, for the song “Patient Number 9” featuring Jeff Beck, as well as best metal performance for “Degradation Rules” with Tony Iommi. Asked whether he’ll prepare a speech or wing it on Grammy night, should he win any awards, Osbourne admits that giving speeches isn’t really his specialty.

“I’m not good at making speeches,” he says. “I always end up saying it twice or blowing it or whatever. I’m sure my wife will have it worked out. Behind me is my wife. My wife pulls my strings.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the 74-year-old rocker noted that the album’s title, Patient Number 9, is “me, I suppose. The last four years have been sheer hell for me. I’ve been in such a bad… healthwise. Plus I got [a] Parkinson’s diagnosis. But I’m, you know, takes a lot to hold me down.”

Nearly two months removed from Shanquella Robinson‘s death, her grieving father Bernard Robinson opened up about the devastating moment he saw his daughter’s beaten and battered body, while the friends she was traveling with blamed her death on alcohol poisoning.

Robinson said he knew the cause of Shanquella’s mysterious death wasn’t alcohol when he saw her open casket, according to the Charlotte Observer.

“When I saw in that casket, and I saw the knot, (…) the cut on her lip, I know for a fact that they did some bodily harm to her,” Bernard said.

On Dec. 10, Bernard was joined by friends, family and local leaders at a justice rally for Shanquella organized by the Million Youth March of Charlotte as well as the Salisbury Teen Advisory Board.

He described the heartbreaking moment of seeing his daughter’s injured and lifeless body to the hundreds of people who gathered in support of Shanquella at Little Rock AME Zion Church in Charlotte, the outlet reports.

“All I want is justice,” the heartbroken father said at the rally last week.

An autopsy revealed that Shanquella suffered a cracked spine and a broken neck, however the coroner’s report mostly led to more questions than answers.

A viral video began making the rounds on social media, showing a woman brutally attacking Bernard’s 25-year-old daughter. She was naked and refused to fight back, despite pleas to do so from the cameraman as others cheered on.

Bernard Robinson Calls Shanquella’s Friends The “Cabo Six” As Family Still Awaits Justice In Daughter’s Death

Bernard went on to call the group of friends the “Cabo Six.”

While Mexican authorities have reportedly issued an arrest warrant in Shanquella’s case last month, no arrests have been made since her death, The Shade Room reported. On Oct. 28, Shanquella arrived in San José del Cabo. She was pronounced dead the next day.

Her father says all he wants is for authorities “to do the right thing, (and) make it right.”

“All I want is justice. I just want the Mexican authorities, the embassy, to do the right thing, make it right. Because they came over there on your soil and did what they did and came back here,” Bernard continued.

Shanquella’s Mother Blasts The FBI Over Lack Of Progress & Lack Of Information

Shanquella’s grieving mother Salamondra blasted the FBI over their lack of progress in her daughter’s murder case and the lack of information she’s been provided with as days turn into weeks following the 25-year-old’s death at a Mexican resort, The Shade Room previously reported.

Meanwhile, the family has been anxiously awaiting justice to be served.

The FBI is still investigating the case, which local authorities in Mexico have deemed a femicide.

The arrest warrant, issued for a still-unnamed American woman, has yet to bare any results as officials work to extradite her to face a Mexican court. The suspect, described as one of the friends who traveled with Shanquella, could face up to 60 years in prison.
