DJ Vlad has another tofu beef on his hands. Hip-Hop’s most hated interviewe and Marlon Wayans had a heated exchange over the actor’s interview price demand.
As reported by Bossip, the media personality has another celebrity on his head. Last week, VladTV released a clip of a new Aries Spears interview. During the sit-down, Vlad revealed that he recently retracted his Marlon Wayans invite after the actor had asked for $40,000 dollars and 30% of the revenue earned from the content. “There’s no one on Earth that will pay you $40,000 for an interview much less 30% on top of that,” Vlad said. “At one point we got on the phone… I had to break it down to him. If you look at your recent interviews… you get around 300,000 views. That’s a few thousand dollars in YouTube revenue.”
As expected, this clip soon went viral and landed on Marlon’s radar. To which the White Chicks star took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and proceeded to slander the media personality. “You mad? You unprofessional my guy. If you don’t like the number keep it moving. You look BAD. You should fall back,” Marlon Wayans responded. “Mad at a Black man stating his number? And now you go public and use your platform to try to drag me. I never in my life dealt with this silly negotiating tactic.”
DJ Vlad continued on with his pettiness and shared more posts antagonizing the comedian. “Not mad at all. I find all this amusing because you really think that you’re worth $40K for an interview,” he retorted. “I said there’s nobody on Earth that will pay you that, and I have yet to be proven wrong. Throwing out a stupid ass number for an interview is unprofessional my guy – because your interviews don’t even make 5% of that on every platform you do. And bringing up race when there was no mention of it throughout all our discussions shows how weak of a man you really are.”
This is not the first time DJ Vlad has been called a culture vulture. The likes of Lil B, Lord Jamar, Tyrese, Slim Thug, and even New York Times bestselling author Morgan Jerkins have called him a culture vulture. You can view Vlad discuss the situation with Aries Spears below.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will remain linked forever musically and their undeniable chemistry was once more on display during the closing ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics. In a new interview, Dr. Dre teased that the long-promised Missionary album with Snoop Dogg could see a release this November.
Dr. Dre, 59, spoke with Entertainment Tonight about his surprise performance with Snoop Dogg as the Summer Olympics concluded in Paris with the games taking place in Los Angeles, Calif. in 2028. The pre-recorded performance of “The Next Episode” was done with an “LA 28” backdrop in Snoop’s hometown of Long Beach. The concert also featured appearances from H.E.R., Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Billie Eilish.
The ET chat opened with the producer praising Snoop for bringing him out of his usual reclusive state in the studio to create magic onstage. Dre did make certain to let it be known that when it comes to producing and creating, he’s the “captain” to use his words but once more showed deference to the Doggfather for his ability to perform.
Later in the discussion, Dre shares details of his work on Missionary, which was initially billed as a followup to Snoop’s debut album Doggystyle on its 30th anniversary, which occurred in November of 2023. Dre’s goal now is to finish mixing between 14 to 16 songs for Missionary by September 1 to have it ready to go in November.
Other great points raised during the Dr. Dre interview were his views on the breaking competition in the Summer Olympics, his aspirations to join the games as an archer, and more.

After a lengthy hiatus, one of the Hip-Hop GOATs has returned to the rap scene and as LL Cool J continues to show his pen is still a problem after almost 40 years in the game he links up with one of today’s most popular artists to help bridge that multi-generational gap.
Collaborating with Saweetie for the visuals to “Proclivities,” Ladies Love Cool James hits up a telly of delights where he flexes his muscles for the ladies in attendance before Saweetie steals the show with a provocative performance of her own. We must admit homie’s in great shape for a 56-year-old.
Back in Florida, Kodak Black looks to take on a new trait and for his black-and-white clip to “Hit Stick,” KB picks up a baton and takes on the role of a conductor as he “directs” an orchestra to play along to his hand gesture in… a locker room?! Can’t say we’ve ever seen that before.
Check out the rest of today’s drops and some joints you might’ve missed over the weekend including work from Wiz Khalifa, Lady XO, and more.

It looks like Megan Thee Stallion has really taken a liking to Asian culture thanks to her recent trip to Japan as her latest offering “Mamushi” is set in a Far East environment with a touch of the supernatural.
For the Yuki Chiba-assisted visuals to “Mamushi,” Megan finds herself to be a part of a bathhouse bordello of sorts as the only Black woman amongst a team of Japanese hotties. Unfortunately, for the man who chooses to spend time with her, Thee Stallion quickly shape-shifts into a snake and makes quick work of the men in her vicinity. Luring them with her amazing physical, Megan proves Bell Biv Devoe right by reminding us to never trust a big butt and a smile ’cause that girl is poison.
We’re not gonna lie though, we’d still take that chance. Just sayin’.
Check out the Yuki Chiba-assisted visuals to “Mamushi” below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Lawrence O’Donnell opened the Thursday night broadcast of his MSNBC show, The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell with a fiery takedown of his network and other outlets. O’Donnell blasted the media for their handling of Donald Trump and failing to fact-check the presidential candidate’s statements with immediacy
O’Donnell aimed his opening monologue on Donald Trump’s recent news conference from his Mar-A-Lago residence which aired in full on several networks and dominated the news cycle in ways that the Trump campaign has scrambled to do in the passing weeks since Vice President Kamala Harris has hit the campaign trail.
In what many described as a rambling and disjointed affair, Trump riffed and aimed attacks at Vice President Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, while rattling off several debunked claims and bizarre statements. At one point, the former president stated that a speech delivered in front of the White House on January 6, 2021, was larger than Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech in 1963, which was categorically false.
About the news conference, O’Donnell said, “It would be hard to find a sentence in what Donald Trump said today that did not include at least one lie. Some of the networks tried to play catchup with fact-checking after Donald Trump finished speaking, but that, of course, is way too late and utterly useless. No network even attempted to fact-check every lie Donald Trump told.”
It didn’t end there as O’Donnell added,” “Many of the falsehoods Donald Trump spread today in his responses came from that vast well of stupidity that takes up most of his brain. The stupidest person who has ever won a nomination for president stood there in front of those reporters and said his opponent isn’t smart enough to do what he was failing at right in front of those reporters.”
O’Donnell shared on his personal X account that he went off the intended script, speaking from the heart about the matter as he’s done repeatedly in his time in his post. You can see his reply on X and the video below.

Laila! is a young artist on the rise and has already gone viral with her vibey “Not My Problem” track and it appears that as the saying goes, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. During a recent interview, Laila! confirmed that Yasiin Bey, the former Mos Def, is her father but she isn’t hamstrung to compete in the spaces he’s occupied.
If you’ve been under a rock, Laila!’s “Not My Problem” is all over social media and a recent On The Radar freestyle session gave the song a wider bit of reach. Sitting with Complex, the “Like That!” artist shared with the outlet that the Black Star member is her father but her actual sound is more indicative of her generation.
“Yes, he is my dad, y’all. The rumors are true, no, I’m kidding. But yes, he’s my dad. He’s my dad,” she explained with a laugh.
Laila! added, “I don’t know, I guess, like, I kind of just always been my own, like, artist in a way. And like, that’s the cool thing, because I feel like as a kid, like whenever we would just jam sesh and like vibe out, me and him, I don’t know, I always had my own style, I always had my own thing going on. And he’s always just been like, ‘Okay kid, I see you.’”
From what we gathered from her social media pages, Laila! is an all-around talent with rapping, singing, and producing all appearing in her tool belt. The rising Brooklyn star’s latest release is the “Not My Problem” and “Flyer Than U” two-pack that dropped in June.

Macy Gray continues to be an open book with little of what people think. She recently admitted that she uses cocaine and alcohol to relax.
As spotted on TMZ the Canton, Ohio native is a cast member on Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets. During the premiere of the reality television show the crew were invited to participate in an exercise that would help them relax. While their guide was explaining the benefits of “consciously over-breathing” the “I Try” singer made it clear that is not how she cures herself. “Oh God! I just don’t do the hippy sh*t” she explained to the show’s producer. “I live in LA, that’s hippy kingdom, but for healing that’s not how I do it.”
When asked to explain her method of healing she nonchalantly admitted she does a line and pairs it with a drink. “Like cocaine and a couple of shots. Get those edibles down my throat and I’m good, girl! You order me a pizza and I’m straight. I don’t need all that sh*t, I’m good” she replied. As expected the clip quickly picked up traction online and became a guilty pleasure to react to. “Macy Gray on this Surreal Life is giving me life. She’s so unintentionally funny, omg I’ve fallen in love with her” one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
For this season of The Surreal Life Macy Gray is joined by Chet Hanks, O.T. Genasis, and Kim Zolciak. You can see Macy’s candid response below.

A few weeks ago a random white girl named Hailey Welch had social media on fire when she described how to pleasure a man when she “spit on that thang” with a “hauk tuah!” And with all the memes that one moment spawned, Plies has decided to take some of that momentum and create a whole song around that sexual sentiment.
In his new visuals for “Hawk Tuah,” Plies shows just how he likes his women to give him that “hawk tuah!” by getting his “mic checked” in a public bathroom before getting some more of the same treatment in the comfort of his own home. The man didn’t waste any time banking off that hawk tuah hype.
Elsewhere Fat Trel and Millyz make a D.C. to Boston connection happen and in their clip for “Airplane Mode,” the two artists take to the rooftops of the buildings of Bean Town before hopping on a boat with some thick and exotic young women.

There have been many attempts to slander 50 Cent’s name but it hasn’t stuck. A former NYC detective has confirmed he never worked with the police.
Investigative YouTube channel ITS AGTV recently interviewed with former New York City detective Bill Courtney. The retired law officer admitted to working on several high-profile cases during his tenured career.
During the chat, he detailed his dealings with Jacques “Haitian Jack” Agnant, Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond, Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, and other notorious figures from the Big Apple. During one particular segment, Courtney made it perfectly clear that to his knowledge 50 Cent never cooperated with the police.
“50 Cent never cooperated with anybody and I would know if he did. I had the whole music industry investigation business locked down. I knew everybody who was talking to everybody, there is no way he cooperated” he said. Courtney went on to reveal that he and his team did try to get 50 Cent to help them but he turned them down. “We took a shot at him and he didn’t cooperate through his attorney Bob Kalina.”
At the apex of the 50 Cent and Ja Rule beef Murder Inc. produced an order of protection that they allege the “I Get Money” rapper requested after a scuffle in a Manhattan recording studio. Courtney also refutes that claim too.
“He didn’t have any cops protecting him. If he was in with the police I would know about it” he added.
The interview quickly went viral and 50 Cent left a comment about Bill Courtney’s response.
“See the facts always come out, I wasn’t raised like that. I’m not in Preme, killer rat ass jimmy or World’s paper work.” he wrote on Instagram.
