Why take your gin straight when you can have it with a side of Hardy? In honor of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre‘s new Gin & Juice canned cocktail venture, the country-rock star released a cover of the hip-hop duo’s classic “Gin and Juice” on Friday (April 19), with a music video to follow next […]

The wait is over — Bryson Tiller released his self-titled album on Friday (April 5) via RCA Records. “My main goal with this album is for the masses to hear everything I’m capable of doing,” Tiller told Billboard in a recent interview. “So they give me a chance and stick around as fans. My main […]

There’s a new sheriff in town, and her name is Cowboy Carter. On Friday (Mach 29), Beyoncé finally unleashed her eighth solo studio album in its entirety. The Grammy winner first introduced her Cowboy Carter era with a pair of country singles — “16 Carriages” and Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “Texas Hold ‘Em” — released […]

After three long years, Ariana Grande has finally unveiled Eternal Sunshine — her seventh studio album and first since 2020’s Grammy-nominated Positions. Released to all digital streaming platforms on Friday (March 8), Eternal Sunshine is Grande’s incredibly vulnerable reflection on the personal (and artistic!) growth she experienced following her divorce from Dalton Gomez, a transformative […]

The wait is officially over — Cardi B dropped her “Like What (Freestyle)” Friday (March 1). The rapper teased the new track via her Instagram Story earlier this week. “I ain’t even got dressed / Any L that I took come after YS / Oh man, oh man, oh man, oh man,” she rapped in […]

A month after launching the campaign for Everything I Thought It Was with lead single “Selfish,” Justin Timberlake has revealed a new taste of his forthcoming LP. Co-written and co-produced by Louis Bell, Cirkut, Kenyon Dixon, Amy Allen and Timberlake himself, “Drown” finds the *NSYNC alum squarely at home on an atmospheric electro-pop&B instrumental. “Got […]

With less than a month to go before Eternal Sunshine takes over the world (Mar. 8), Ariana Grande is keeping her attention on “Yes, And?” — and she’s tapped a certifiable legend to breathe new life into the song. Marking their second official collaboration, Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey have teamed up for a new “Yes, And?” remix.
Released to digital streaming platforms on Friday (Feb. 16), the new version of Grande’s latest Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper arrives after a few days of teasing via her official Instagram page, Carey’s official Instagram page, and the @sweetener account Grande has been relaying album-related news on since 2018.

After teasing a special announcement via her Instagram Story earlier this week (Feb. 13), Grande confirmed Carey’s appearance on the “Yes, And?” remix with a Feb. 14 post captioned, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song @mariahcarey. [It] means more to me than [I] could ever possibly articulate and [I] cannot wait for everyone to hear this! [I] love you eternally!!!!!!!”

Mariah returned the love in Grande’s comment section, writing, “Darling angel, I am so effing excited to be joining you on the yes, and? remix!! This is such a magical moment!! Love you ❤️ MC.”

The two vocal powerhouses first team up for a track back in 2020. Alongside EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson, Carey and Grande updated “Oh Santa!” — a single from Carey’s Merry Christmas II You (2010). That track, which delighted fans in its union of two artists (Carey and Grande) than have been unfairly pit against each other in the past, came complete with a glitzy music video. The three divas delivered the first joint live performance at the song last month (Dec. 9) at Madison Square Garden during the New York stop on Carey’s Merry Christmas One & All! tour.

In January (chart dated Jan. 27), “Yes, And?” debuted atop the Hot 100, marking Grande’s eighth career No. 1 single. The house-indebted bop serves as the lead single from Eternal Sunshine, her forthcoming seventh solo studio album, which serves as her first LP since 2020’s Billboard 200-topping Positions.

No need to traverse a boulevard a broken dreams, a new Green Day album has finally arrived. Nearly four years since their last studio LP — 2020’s Father of All… — the iconic rockers are back with a brand new set featuring a slew of singles including the Rock Airplay chart-topper “The American Dream Is […]

Ariana Grande is back — and she has some things to say.
On Friday, Jan. 12, the pop star returned with her inquisitive and gleaming new single “Yes, And?” The song serves as the first taste of Grande’s forthcoming seventh album.

Inspired by late ’80s dance-pop production, the catchy track is made all the better by Grande’s unshakeable confidence and comfort in her own skin. “Yes, and? Say that s— with your chest, and, be your own f—ing best friend,” she instructs, seeming to lead by example.

The overall message is loud and clear: she’s seen the comments, and she’s not taking s— from anybody.

“I’m so done with caring what you think, no I won’t hide underneath your own projections or change my most authentic life,” she sings in a soft and syrupy sweet tone, evoking a “kill ’em with kindness” energy.

And later, during a spoken word interlude, Ari even declares: “Your energy is yours and mine is mine…don’t comment on my body, do not reply.”

And while her message is firm, the upbeat and retro production is less so, helping drive home Grande’s laid back, carefree attitude. Written and produced by the pop star alongside Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh, the thumping and rallying chorus is prime for a dancefloor — there are even elements that call back to Madonna’s “Vogue,” which could very well be a tease to the album’s overall sound).

Yesterday, on Thursday, Jan. 11, Grande released a teaser clip to the song’s visual. It opened with a hand holding a red card that read “AG7.” The other side of the card read: “Your presence has been exclusively requested.”

The clip then cuts to various voices saying things like: “You know, I think I liked her better when her ponytail was a few centimeters higher”; “I mean, who cares if she’s happy? I don’t want happy. I want Ari.”; and ““Well, I read it on the Internet, so it must be true!”

“Yes, And?” is a direct response to such critiques. And in typical Ariana fashion, she leans into one of her greatest strengths: being oh so sweet.

Kali Uchis and Karol G set the scene ablaze with “Labios Mordidos” (Bite Lips) on Friday (Nov. 24), marking their second collaboration following the success of “Me Tengo Que Ir” from Karol’s Mañana Sera Bonita (Bichota Season) earlier this year.
Produced by Manuel Lara and Albert Hype, the sweltering reggaeton cut sees the two Colombian femmes fatale indulging in risqué flirtation. “The girl is on fire and sticks to me like a tattoo/ I guarantee there’s no one harder than you,” Kali seductively croons in Spanish. Meanwhile, Karol responds with her hushed coo: “I guarantee there’s no one more chimba than you … The baby is aggressive with that cute face/ That tattoo on her back left me breathless.”

“I’m so excited for the Kuchis to finally have one of my favorite songs on Orquídeas with one of my favorite artists Karol,” Uchis said in a statement. “I hope this brings everyone lots of holiday cheer and you make plenty of memories going into the new year with this song!”

During Karol G’s opening performance of the 2023 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 19), La Bichota teased fans with a snippet of the song.

As anticipation builds for Uchis’ fourth album, Orquídeas, due Jan. 12, “Labios” emerges as the third single, offering a tantalizing preview of what’s to come. The song follows the vintage bolero-style song “Te Mata” and the Dominican dembow of “Muñekita” with El Alfa and JT.

“The orchid is the national flower of Colombia, and we have more species of orchid than anywhere on earth,” Uchis said last month. “I always felt distinctly intrigued and magnetized by the flower. This album is inspired by the timeless, eerie, mystic, striking, graceful and sensual allure of the orchid. With this vast scope of fresh energy, I wish to redefine the way we look at Latinas in music.”

The album will feature more collaborations, including with Peso Pluma, Rauw Alejandro and more. Orquídeas is Kali Uchis’ second all-Spanish release.

Kali Uchis entered a total of six Billboard Year-End Charts, including the Top Latin Artists chart at No. 32 and Top R&B Artists at No. 11. In October, the Colombian-American singer-songwriter concluded her Red Moon in Venus Tour with sold-out performances across the U.S.
