Two of the biggest culture vultures, DJ Akademiks and YesJulz clashed over the weekend and social media was here for the drama.
Let’s make this abundantly clear while y’all are here, no likes either of these individuals, BUT, we must admit, we ain’t mad at YesJulz for stating the obvious about DJ Akademiks.
HotNewHipHop reported that everyone’s favorite dark room streamer claimed from his gaming chair that Kendrick Lamar was a creative director on Playboi Carti’s latest album, I Am Music.
“Kendrick is creative directing the whole shit,” Akademiks claimed.
Akademiks is no stranger to saying wild stuff for clicks, and that claim was quickly debunked by Carti’s longtime producer, F1LTHY, who most notably created the beat for Carti’s song “All Red.”
“Kendrick fam but he is NOT the creative director of this album,” F1LTHY said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “This Carti album.”
You would think that would have ended the discussion, but no. Akademiks doubled-down on his claim, stating that Carti himself gave him the information, even taking a jab at the producer.
“No disrespect to F1LTHY, I don’t know who the f**k F1LTHY is,” the Drake stan said. “Kendrick is on the album. Whether it’s creative director, executive producer, I don’t give a f**k. I’m only going off what Carti told me.”
YesJulz Clowned Akademiks On X
YesJulz saw Akademik’s disrespect of F1LTHY and injected herself into the situation writing on X, “Not knowing F1LTHY is one of Carti’s main collaborators in 2025 as a journalist covering hip-hop is surely one way to admit you suck at your job.”
Akademiks caught wind of YesJulz’s response and went on a wild rant, dipping into misogynistic bag calling the influencer a “wh*re” for stating the obvious about him.
YesJulz had plenty to say in response, adding “Bro bout to pop a blood vessel” and that she doesn’t “don’t go back and forth with incels. I got somethin for that lil cootie patootie tho.”
DJ Akademiks is not having a good weekend on the socials. He is also getting clowned for sharing a video of bikini-clad women dancing on a boat to Drake’s music while talking about, you guessed it, Kendrick Lamar.

Fans have been screaming “Where is Black Mirror” for some time now. Finally the folks at Netflix said “here damn,” and hit us with a trailer packed with some serious star power.
The popular sci-fi anthology series that always manages to spark up a conversation between viewers about the negative effects of technology on society is coming back April 10.
When Black Mirror returns for its seventh season, it will boast an all-star ensemble cast insix episodes that ares sure to be thought-provokins.
Netflix is remaining tight-lipped about the plots of each episode, but we do know that we are getting a sequel to the popular “USS Callister” episode. This episode originally starred Jesse Plemons, Michaela Coel, Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, and Billy Magnussen and dropped in 2017 as part of Black Mirror season 4.
We can look forward to new cast members Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Asim Chaudhry, Josh Finan, James Nelson-Joyce, Will Poulter, Jay Simpson, and Michael Workéyè this season.

Has Black Mirror Become “Too Americanized?”
The trailer is already sparking buzz on social media, both good and bad. Some fans feel the anthology series has become “too Americanized.”
“The Americanization of Black Mirror is the worst thing to happen to this series. Bring back the Euros,” one user on X, formerly Twitter wrote.

Regardless, we are sure people will be tuning in and binging on the show because that’s how it always works. People complain, but watch to confirm their complaints, turning the series into a hit for Netflix.

Stephen A. Smith is getting called out for giving his confrontation with LeBron James uncessarry extra life, and those people may have a point.
It’s been 7 days since LeBron James took time to confront ESPN’s loudest and well paid voice Stephen A. Smith about comments he made about his son, Bronny James, during a timeout, and Smith still is talking about it.
While LeBron James has seemingly moved on, Smith has gone on what many are calling a media tour to talk about the situation. Smith waited till a Monday, March 10 epsiode of First Take and later his podcast the Stephen A. Smith Show to speak about the situation because he felt he needed to after video of LBJ checking him went viral.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter annoucing his decision to address the moment Smith wrote, “I didn’t want to have to address this. I wouldn’t have, either, had it not gone viral. Now I have no choice. @FirstTake first at 10am EST. Then….The Stephen A. Smith Show on YouTube! Some things just have to be said.
Hilariously, James former Cavaliers teammate, Kevin Love, clowned Smith’s reasoning for making the moment he claimed he “didn’t wan’t to have to address,” in a quote response writing, “You have no choice? lol Because it went viral? lol You didn’t want to have to? lol You wouldn’t have? lol.”
Following that, the wannabe politcal pundit has spoken about the situation on Sean Hannity’s FOX News show and on a Thursday episode of the Gilbert Arenas podcast where he described James checking him as “weak,” and “some bulls—.”
Users On X Accuse Stephen A. Smith of Going On A Media Tour About The LeBron Moment
Social media is also laying the virtual smackdown on Stephen A., accusing him of going on a “media tour” after James told him to stop talking about his son.
“Stephen A going on a MEDIA TOUR to complain about being bitched by Lebron is a different type of bitch made,” a user on X wrote about the situation.
He’s got a point.

When Is Silent Hill ƒ Dropping?
There is no release date for Silent Hill ƒ, but you can wishlist the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles or on PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store.
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, Silent Hill ƒ will be a PS5 Pro Enhanced title.

Donald Trump is an absolute embarrassment, and girfter that has no shame. The so-called President of The United States decided to help his MAGA benefactor, Elon Musk, whose companies have taken a hit after hitching his battery-powered wagon to the MAGA express, which is one stop straight to recession hell.
During the disastrous pitch, which many believe violated the Hatch Act, Trump was reduced to a car salesman—a terrible one at that.
Photographers who were at the corrupt commercial caught Trump orange-handed reading from a literal sales pitch full of talking points about Musk’s crappy electric vehicles.
On the note, you can see talking points like “Tesla Pricing” for the different vehicles and the “Full Self Driving” feature, as well as noting that the vehicles “can be purchased as low as $299/month or “$35k.”
Bruh.
Trump’s apparent lifeline to Tesla came after the stock market nosedived in response to his stupid tariffs and boycotts held around the globe at Tesla dealerships in response to Musk’s affiliation with Trump and ruining people’s lives as a result of the massive layoffs conducted by DOGE.
Donald Trump & Elon Musk Get Clowned On X
X, formerly Twitter, has been trolling Trump, who overnight became a fan of electric vehicles after being one of their staunchest critics.
“I don’t know how one can be an American citizen and not be deeply embarrassed by this. The leader of the free world reduced to reading ad copy for a car salesman,” a post on X read.
Even Whoopi Goldberg and The View got in on the act, calling Trump a used car salesman and creating a jingle.

Donald Trump and his MAGA cult are now all-in on electric cars, specifically, Elon Musk’s crappy Tesla vehicles after the company’s stock continues to take a hit, and sales stall due to him Musk hitching his wagon to the Trump train and being a douche.
Orange Mussolini and his loyal supporters are vowing to buy the once popular, but extremely poorly designed electric car in response to protests of the EV company across the nation in response to Musk’s DOGE ruining federal workers’ lives following unjust mass layoffs in the name of reducing government spending.
Taking to his favorite megaphone, Truth Social, Trump announced he will purchase a Tesla vehicle to show confidence in Musk and his company while incorrectly calling boycotts of Tesla illegal.
Per CNBC:
“I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American,” Trump wrote in a post published early Tuesday morning on Truth Social.
Trump said “radical left lunatics” are “illegally and collusively” boycotting Tesla, which the president described as one of the best automakers in the world. This action, Trump said, was meant as an attack on Musk and what he stands for.

For those who believe everything Trump says, boycotting companies is not illegal. In 1982, the Supreme Court ruled that the First Amendment protects American citizens’ rights to protest private businesses.
Elon Musk’s Businesses Are Suffering Globally

Anyway, in a recent interview, Musk himself acknowledged that the self-inflicted harm to his businesses was leading to him running them “with great difficulty.” This wouldn’t have been the case if he hadn’t gotten into politics, specifically giving Donald Trump ridiculous amounts of money to ensure his return to the White House.

Donald Trump is on a quest to make America broke again, oops we mean “wealthy again” through tariffs, but he keeps ignoring what economists are trying to get through his thick orange head, regular Americans will feel the pain through their wallets.
Felon 47, for whatever reason, is obsessed with tariffs and believes they are a great tool against our three main trade partners, Canada, China, and Mexico because he feels we are being “ripped off,” in the trade deal he negotiated during his first term.
Trump didn’t waste any time imposing a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico, but he pulled some back after the stock market reacted negatively. As of this writing, the markets continue to tank due to his bonehead decision.
The Orange Menace imposed an additional 10% tariff on goods from China on top of the 10% tariff he imposed on the country in February. Analysts believe that Trump’s new round of tariffs will make video games and other electronics more expensive and push publishers to abandon physical releases.

GameRant reports that Trump’s tariffs on Mexico could make consoles like the Nintendo Switch 2 more expensive and have other negative implications.
Per GameRant:
Industry experts are particularly concerned about the ripple effects on the video games market. Mat Piscatella, Circana Executive Director and Video Game Industry Analyst, predicts a “sharp downtick” in the number of physical game releases in the United States. Much of the production infrastructure for these games is based in Mexico, and a 25% tariff would disrupt supply chains, increasing manufacturing costs. As a result, retailers may raise prices on both physical and digital games to maintain price parity. “If physical game prices go up, digital games’ MSRPs will likely follow,” Piscatella noted in a recent discussion on Bluesky. He expressed doubts about any positive outcomes for the physical game market in the near future.
Bruh.
During Trump’s first disastrous presidency, the video game industry convinced him to chill and exclude them in the tariffs he placed on Chinese goods, but he has not extended the same grace.
The ESA warned that Trump’s tariffs could significantly harm the video game industry. There are fears that Project 2025, the extreme right-wing playbook that Trump claims he knows nothing about, could somehow interfere with the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 because the language in it suggests possible censorship of games like GTA 6 due to their graphic and violent nature.

Elon Musk is too busy firing and laying off government workers to pay attention to his crappy platform X because it was running like absolute crap on Monday.
X, formerly known as Twitter, has been down for thousands of UK and US users for a good portion of the day. Outage tracking website Downdetector.com reported more than 21,000 incidents of people in the US reporting issues with the platform during the first incident and 10,800 in the UK.
The platform reportedly returned to normal around 2:30 a.m. PT, so the outage lasted about 45 minutes in total.
X wasn’t out of the woods yet. Later in the day, around 6:45 a.m. PT, Downdetector.com reported 8,000 incidents, and the platform eventually went down again minutes later.
The last time X suffered a significant outage like this was in August 2024, with 66% of users reporting issues with the app, website, and server connections.
Since Musk reluctantly acquired the platform for $44 billion and laid off about 80% of its employees, X has been running terribly.
According to the Tesla chief, his company suffered a massive cyberattack.
“There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against 𝕏. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved,” Musk wrote on his personal X account.
Right now, Musk’s time and attention have been on his DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), which has been under fire for firing thousands of government employees and shutting down government agencies like USAID as part of the Trunp administration’s efforts to cut government spending and waste. This has been nothing short of the purest of jigs.
