Ice Cube should have just said no comment.
According to Ice Cube, Diddy’s current situation is a product of him being a “target,” not his behavior.
The iconic rapper, movie producer, actor, and founder of the BIG3 basketball league recently appeared on the PBD Podcast.
During the interview, host Patrick Bet-David asked Ice Cube if he has ever worked with Diddy throughout his long music career. The Friday director revealed to Bet-David that he worked with the embattled music mogul on his 1998 album, War & Peace Volume 1 (The War Disc), and said his experience with was “cool.”
Ice Cube’s Head*ssery Continues
Bet-David followed up by asking Cube if he was “surprised” about the Diddler’s current predicament. He is currently a defendant in several sexual assault lawsuits as a defendant.
We also saw him settle with his ex, Cassie Ventura, before a video of him assaulting her hit X, formerly Twitter timelines.
The “Check Yo Self” rapper is no stranger to saying dumb things, said, “How could you be surprised by anything that happens in hip-hop?”
He continued, “Hip-hop is the wild west. You gonna have the good, you gonna have the bad, you gonna have the ugly.”
The interview veered into conspiratorial land when Bet-David asked Cube if Diddy was a target, and Cube agreed.
“I believe he’s being targeted,” Ice Cube said. “I believe somebody has the power to pull the trigger to make this stuff, this domino effect, happen.”
Bruh.
He would also add that he is not knowledgeable about Diddy’s situation, telling Bet-David, “I don’t know enough to even be able to be specific on any of this stuff. This is all just speculation. I just know he was cool up until a point, and this stuff started happening.”

We find that hard to believe. After the developments, Diddy’s name was on every news website and TV channel.
Recent reporting says a federal grand jury is prepping a potential sex trafficking and sexual assault case against Diddy. The Bad Boy Records founder has not been arrested and recently did some white water rafting, much to the dismay of people who want to see him held accountable for his alleged actions.

Danyel Smith, the former editor for Vibe Magazine revealed that Diddy threatened her with harm over a dispute about the cover.
Last Friday (July 12), Diddy was hit with another explosive accusation of violent behavior from a woman. In an article written for the New York Times by journalist Danyel Smith, who was the former editor-in-chief at Vibe Magazine, she revealed that Diddy threatened her life in a dispute over a cover photo that he took. “Combs and I worked together a lot,” Smith wrote. “Competed, in our way. So often I thought I came out on top. I was mistaken. I had reason to fear for my life. What happened was insidious. It broke my brain. I forgot the worst of it for 27 years.”
Smith wrote that it all began with Diddy, aka Sean Combs, being asked to be on the cover of the magazine for its December 1997/January 1998 issue wearing white feathered wings. While the photo shoot in September went well, everything turned soon after.
“Combs wanted to see the Vibe covers before they went to press,” Smith continued. “It wasn’t our policy to show covers before publication, so after I told him no, we heard that he planned to come to our office and force us to show him.”
This was during the same period after the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., with a lot of heat placed on Diddy amid speculation that he was involved with Shakur’s murder. Diddy would show up to her offices demanding to see the proofs, which prompted her to escape while handing them off to managing editor Jesse Washington. Undeterred, Combs called Smith the next day demanding to see the pictures, with Smith politely refusing.
“It was then that Combs told me, as I’ve retold hundreds of times over the years, that he would see me ‘dead in the trunk of a car,’” she wrote. “Not missing a beat, I told him he needed to take that threat back. ‘Take it back,’ I said, sounding as if I were 10.” “‘Take what back?’ Then, with a vile laugh, ‘[Expletive] you,’” Smith continued. “‘Take it back now,’ I said. ‘Or I’m calling my lawyer, and you’re going to jail.’ He said: ’I know where you are right now. Right on Lexington [Avenue].”
Combs would later fax over an apology after she called her lawyer. Diddy has not responded to press inquiries about the article.

If there is one person supporting disgraced Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, besides his children, it’s his mother. Unfortunately, Janice Combs was recently hospitalized with chest pains.
TMZ reports that Janice Combs was hospitalized on Wednesday (July 10) in South Florida after she complained of pain in her chest, per sources “close to Diddy.”
However, there is no indication on what the cause of the alleged chest discomfort is, as of yet. But with the controversy surrounding Diddy that includes allegations of sexual assault, being seen beating Cassie Ventura on video and a looming indictment, “stress” is what anyone who has been paying attention is surely speculating.
Reportedly, Diddy was in Miami at the time and rushed to his mother’s side at her request. Doctors chose to hold her another night for observation.
Get well soon Janice Combs.

Weeks ago it was reported that a grand jury had been empaneled in connection with the feds’ investigation into Diddy. Now, it seems like an indictment is all about inevitable as the music icon continues to keep a low profile.
According to TMZ, an attorney for one of Diddy’s alleged sex trafficking victims says that an indictment for the embattled music mogul should be coming down any day now as authorities seem to have enough evidence to lay down the hammer on “Brother Love” in a court of law.
Per TMZ:
Adria English’s attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd joined us on “TMZ Live” Wednesday and told us a possible criminal indictment against the Bad Boy founder is coming sooner than later, and perhaps even “very shortly.”
Mitchell-Kidd is definitely in the know here … her client is the former porn star who recently filed a bombshell lawsuit accusing Diddy of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
Adria’s lawsuit is among several accusing Diddy of sexual assault, human trafficking and other serious offenses … including the one he settled with Cassie, which mentioned the now-infamous video of him brutally beating her in a hotel hallway.
At this point, the only way Diddy can avoid prison is by running for President and winning. Unfortunately, he’s already alienated the Hip-Hop community with his atrocious actions, and y’all already know he’s not getting any support from the MAGA faithful. In other words, he’s a**ed out on these streets.
While Diddy has been seen enjoying his life more as of late, such as white water rafting with friends, it could be that the man is enjoying some carefree freedom before he has to deal with the harsh consequences that he’s carved out for himself. Just sayin’.
What do y’all think will happen? Will Diddy be indicted and ultimately sent to prison? Will he buy his way out? Let us know in the comments section below.

Diddy might need better guidance on how to keep a lower profile. He has been criticized for living his best life while facing legal problems.
As reported by Page Six the Bad Boy Entertainment founder was recently spotted in Wyoming vacationing with his family. Wearing a life vest and black shorts the “Missing You” rapper was white water rafting at Snake River and enjoying the sun. After the water festivities, he and his family boarded his private jet named “Combs Air”.
Paparazzi were tipped off to his whereabouts and captured photos of him out and about. Naturally, the imagery struck a bad chord with his accusers. In an exclusive statement to TMZ, Cassie Ventura’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor says “I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead.”
Adria English’s attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd also expressed her disapproval saying “After seeing Defendant Combs white water rafting and jetting around on his personal plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the atrocities he has caused and has been accused of by countless individuals over decades, Mrs. English is even more motivated to ensure justice prevails.
“English claims she was trafficked by Diddy at his invite-only all-white parties. She alleges she “regularly had to drink alcohol laced with narcotics like ecstasy and was encouraged to flirt with guests,” and was required to have sex with Jacob Arabov, aka “Jacob The Jeweler.”
Last week it was reported Diddy had put up his Los Angeles mansion for sale. This is the same property that was raided back in April. Combs has yet to respond to the matter. You can watch Diddy rafting below.

Diddy’s past continues to haunt him. A victim from the Club New York shooting says he put a bounty on her head.
As reported by HipHopDX, the now disgraced business mogul is being accused of more heinous acts. During a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, Natania Reuben claims that Diddy shot her in the face during the infamous Club New York incident in 1999. While he was found not guilty of any wrong doing, the New York City native has been very vocal about his supposed involvement in the crime. During the interview she revealed that she felt her life was in danger after her identity was revealed to the public.
“I was born in Brooklyn [and] I was raised in Brooklyn,” Natania explained. “I had no intentions of leaving, and probably had this [not] happened, I probably would have never left, but when the District Attorney’s office gets information from one of their confidential informant sources saying that there’s a bag on my head, and I’m calling the District Attorney’s office and I’m calling everybody because I look out my window where I was living in Canarsie, Brooklyn, and there’s four, stretched, blacked-out SUVs — I lived on the corner — there’s one on that corner, that corner, one in front of my house, one on the next corner.”
Natania went on to say that she had to relocate due to the fear of her life now being in danger. “What should I do? Sit there and wait for them to come get me or submit to the will of people who have my best interest and want to move me and my family to preserve my safety?” she said. Natania also alleges that the man who originally got into an argument with Diddy prior to the gunfire, Matthew “Scar” Allen, also had a reward on his life.
You can see Natania detail her ordeal below. Diddy has responded to the allegations.

Sean “Diddy” Combs made a return to Instagram last Friday amid the bevy of mounting legal matters he’s currently facing. Based on recent appearances in the public, Diddy is continuing to live life on his terms while keeping any commentary about the several lawsuits he’s facing to himself.
Most media outlets, including ours, have kept a close eye on Diddy’s social media accounts and the mogul and producer shared a video of him entering his private jet and conversing with the pilot last Friday (July 5). In the video, Combs is seen walking up to the jet and greeting the crew while approaching a welcome mat that read “Combs Air” before saying “There’s no place like home.”
This latest video emerged just a tenth lawsuit was filed by former adult film actress Adria English last week. English claims that Combs forced her into performing sex acts at his annual all-white Labor Day parties in Long Island, N.Y. English added in her lawsuit that she was forced to take drugs and to lace the liquor in the party with ecstasy among other claims.
This past weekend, Diddy was seen in images taking part in white water rafting with friends in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Further, while he isn’t speaking with the media, the Bad Boy Records founder is allowing his attorney to deliver statements to the press and shooting down the allegations levied against him.

Sean Combs, also largely known as Diddy, was hit with another lawsuit from a former adult film actress who threw out some explosive claims. The woman claims that at the infamous all-white parties hosted by Sean Combs, she was forced to perform sex work for the mogul’s guests.
As reported by PEOPLE, the outlet obtained documents connected to the lawsuit brought by Adria English who says that she was forced into prostitution by Diddy while adding she was trafficked for sex for years under his rule.
English filed the lawsuit on July 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York which brings claims that Combs hired English to work at the well-attended parties in his Long Island, N.Y., and Miami homes. English added in her lawsuit other names and companies connected to Combs such as Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings, Inc., VIBE, and Penske Corporation.
Combs’ attorney Jonathan Davis offered a statement to PEOPLE regarding the lawsuit reading, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”
The statement continued, “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.”
English said she was under the employ of Combs between the years of 2006 and 2009, adding in her lawsuit that she was made to have sex with the likes of Jacob “The Jeweler” Jacob Arabo and that Combs allegedly spiked the drinks of guests with drugs along with being forced to also be under the influence.
Adria English is the ninth person to launch a lawsuit against Sean Combs. She is seeking a trial and is asking for damages and legal fees paid.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is being investigated by the Feds. Reportedly, the disgraced Hip-Hop mogul is the subject of a federal criminal investigation, surely tied to the raids on his homes back in March 2024.
NBC News reports that Diddy’s legal team was notified last week that their client is being investigated by the Southern District of New York (SDNY). Although their sources indicated that a federal grand jury has been empaneled, there is no indication as to what the potential charges may be and when they will land, yet. The source also said that Combs had yet to receive a formal target letter from the SDNY.
This latest development comes a few months after Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided simultaneously as part of an investigation into alleged sex trafficking and illegal firearms, amongst other crimes. Recently, Diddy put the same Los Angeles home that was raided on the market. TMZ reports he’s seeking $70M for the Holmby Hills home after paying $40M for it back in 2014.
Combs’ fall from grace can be pinpointed to when in November 2023 his ex-girlfriend and former Bad Boy artist Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit accusing him of years of physical and sexual abuse. The suit was settled a day later, but the dam was broken, with more alleged victims coming forward with lawsuits of their own in the weeks and months since. Diddy would vehemently deny any wrongdoing, but in May 2024, CNN obtained a video that showed him brutally beating Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel’s hallway. The assault was just as what Cassie had described in her lawsuit.
Diddy then took to Instagram to deliver a widely criticized apology video. In the month since Cassie’s initial lawsuit, entities have been cutting ties with Diddy, including Revolt (where he once served as Chairman of the company he founded), Hulu (which dropped a planned reality show) and Howard University (which rescinded his honorary degree).
