As spotted on Hype Beast the spirits brand aims to build on its legacy. Earlier this week they announced a new campaigned titled “Made For More” which is a lighter and brighter reintroduction to the Madison. To bring the narrative to life they tapped into model and musician Teyana Taylor and British Nigerian actor Damson Idris. The project features five off-beat mixing films which are accompanied by five signature cocktail recipes.

Teyana Taylor expressed her enthusiasm about the campaign saying “One time, for the love of all things anew, and we all love new things. With that being said, I’m super excited to embark upon this journey with my favorite Cognac, Hennessy. Destination: fresh, bright, and invigorating, like any good cocktail should be.” For Damson the partnership means more than just cocktails. “When I think of Hennessy I think of my three older brothers, I think of amazing memories. The visuals are stylish, the films are fun, it’s magic. It’s cinema” he said.
The Hennessy campaign will be brought to life via dedicated spaces at music festivals throughout the season. You can read more about “Made For More” and the cocktails here.

Lori Harvey and Damson Idris appeared to be the power couple of everyone’s dreams and displayed what all thought was a loving union that would last forever. However, the streets are whispering that the pair have officially split and fans on social media are sharing their observations of the breakup.
After rumors persisted online in 2022, Lori Harvey and Damson Idris made their relationship Instagram official at the top of this year. From there, the couple showcased their moments together via their respective Instagram pages. Idris also shared a birthday Instagram Story picture and post with Harvey, calling her “Nunu” in the message.
Beyond photos and the like, Harvey and Idris didn’t speak much about their relationship, opting to keep much of their dating life private. That said, both of the stats attracted a flurry of attention whenever a hint of them together online appeared with their fans rooting for this relationship to last.
The Hollywood Reporter obtained an exclusive joint statement from Harvey and Idris, which we’ll share below.
From THR:
“We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication. We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”
As expected, the news of the breakup has folks dropping all manner of comments. Some are applauding Harvey for choosing herself while others are making light of Idris and his feelings.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans are reacting to the news of Lori Harvey and Damson Idris breaking up. The reactions are all over the place and we’ve featured some of them below.

Lori Harvey and Damson Idris were celebrated just months ago as the newest young “it” couple, with many fans of the two loving their romantic connection. However, the streets say the pair have broken up and the reactions from the failed relationships segment of Twitter are out of control.
Lori Harvey, 26, and Damson Idris, 31, first made their relationship official on Instagram at the top of the year. Late last year, Harvey split with Michael B. Jordan after an intense romance between the pair went to the wayside. For Idris, the showy declarations of love and the like were just as noticeable as it was with Jordan and Harvey herself joined in on the display with photos sealing the deal.
News of the breakup came by way of a source who spoke to Media Take Out and the outlet took notice of the fact that recent public appearances of Idris feature him without Harvey on his arm. That doesn’t necessarily confirm the rumors of the breakup but it definitely has folks online talking.
As it stands, fans are making their own assumptions about what happened, even though the source that spoke with Media Take Out said there are no issues between the two and the split was amicable. Further, those same fans are taking shots at Idris over his sex scene with Chloe Bailey in the Amazon Prime thriller series, Swarm.
Yeah, we know that doesn’t make sense.
At any rate, the reactions are starting to bubble up and this latest high-profile relationship examination inspired some cringeworthy and frankly mean-spirited reactions on Twitter. We’ve got the best of the worst below.

Many have been impressed with Damson Idris on the hit series Snowfall, but his uncanny impression of Jay-Z once again has people buzzing.
The 31-year-old British-Nigerian actor was a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show, and the host queried him about his friendship with Jay-Z and Beyoncé. After he answers with a laugh, Barrymore excitedly asks, “Oh my God! What is that like? They’re very embracing of you, right? Like, he’s paternal, basically, with you a bit.”

Idris admits that it’s true and shares a memory. “Yeah, I’ll be in Miami, it’s late, and I’ll call them up, and I’ll be like, ‘Hey, I can’t get a reservation at Carbone,’” he says, before delivering a spot-on impression of Jay-Z replying, “He’ll be like, ‘Damson, you gotta win a couple more Emmy’s before you can call me at 11:30.’”
It’s not the first time the actor has done it – his recollection of an awkward Zoom call he hopped on with Jay-Z and others during an appearance on Good Morning America in 2021 had many entertained.

After the crowd erupted with applause and laughter, he went on to describe his interactions with The Carters. “They’re the sweetest,” Idris said. “We’ve connected in many ways, but the Super Bowl was really great because it was really the first time I really connected with Bey, and I had just walked with Prada, and it was a huge, huge moment for me.”
The actor also spoke about his relationship with his sister and discussed his time auditioning for the lead role of Franklin Saint in the FX series with the late John Singleton – which led to him being dropped off in the middle of South Central Los Angeles.
“By audition number 8, Singleton took me to South Central, opened the car door, and said, ‘If you survive, you’ve got the role,’” he said to Barrymore. “And it really was an experience. You know, I was walking around South Central, I had to stay in character, so I wasn’t allowed to be British. And I said to his mother, ‘Oh, how lovely your hair looks today. I’m just gonna go, and you know, put this in a bin.’ And she goes, ‘John! He ain’t from here, huh?’ Nearly lost the part, but hey, six seasons later…” he concluded.

Lori Harvey, daughter of comedian Steve Harvey and the woman who lives rent-free in the heads of men who are threatened by women with active dating lives (I’m looking at you, Boosie Badazz), has recently made her red carpet debut with her new boo, Snowfall star Damson Idris.

Harvey and Idris announced that they were officially a couple last month, several months after Lori’s very public split with Michael B. Jordan. On Wednesday, the new couple was spotted together in Los Angeles while attending the premiere of Snowfall‘s finale season, according to E News.

From E News:

Making their red carpet debut as a couple, Lori stunned in an off-the-shoulder black gown as she happily posed for photos with Damson, who stars as Franklin Saint on the FX series.
At one point in the evening, Damson—dressed in a dapper navy blue suit—leaned over and sweetly gave the model a kiss on the head.
Their glitzy date night comes weeks after Lori’s 26th birthday, which she celebrated with Damson and friends at Lavo Ristorante in L.A. At the time, an looker told E! News that the pair “looked so happy.”
Aaaah, young love.
Listen, we all know Lori can’t step out for a glass of wine with a man without everybody getting all up in her business, but it’s nice to see that she doesn’t let all of that scrutiny (and misogynoir, if we’re being honest) stop her from living her best life with any male companion she wishes to spend her time with.
So, good luck to Lori and Damson, and may they both continue to excel together and individually.

The sixth and final season of Snowfall will return to FX on February 22 at 10 p.m. But, before Franklin Saint returns to the small screen–actor Damson Idris has broken the internet with pictures that seem to confirm that he is dating socialite and beauty entrepreneur–Lori Harvey.

The photos were featured in the actor’s Instagram story and show one of the two cuddling with Idris kissing Harvey who is smiling. A second photo is of Harvey on what appears to be the set of Snowfall–according to Bossip.
The photos coincide with Harvey’s 26th birthday, January 13th. She also shared the same photos in her IG story.

Harvey, who was recently featured on the cover of Essence Magazine, is the Founder and CEO of SKN by LH–a skincare line that features a five-step beauty regimen. Harvey had previously been linked to actor Michael B. Jordan. The hot couple dated for over a year before calling it quits.
In her Essence feature, she shared, “I know my worth, and I know my value. I’m not going to compromise that, or settle, or accept anything less than what I know I deserve,” she shared of her self-worth and not settling in a relationship. “That’s where I’m at in my life right now. I’m not compromising my peace and happiness for anything or anybody.”
The release of the new photos of Harvey and Idris have elicited mixed responses on social media.

The comments weren’t all great. There was definitely some shade, even by some celebs who were quickly reminded of their past comments.
