Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s Diss Tracks Ranked

The war between Drake and Kendrick Lamar is in full swing after both men gave fans one of the most historic days in hip-hop on Friday (May 3). The “Poetic Justice” collaborators delivered vicious diss tracks aimed at each other in what can be considered the second round of their heavyweight bout.

In round one, Drake stood tall against Kendrick, mocking his small stature and questionable label deals on “Push Ups.” The song served as a response to Kendrick’s verse on “Like That,” where he denounced all chatter surrounding hip-hop’s “Big 3.” Fans were impressed by Drake’s showing, while Kendrick took his time and dropped “Euphoria,” a surgical display of bars that criticized Drake’s alleged cultural appropriation and more.

K. Dot kicked off round two with “6:16 in LA,” where he made claims such as OVO having a mole and more. Drizzy responded with “Family Matters,” where he alleged K. Dot abused his wife, cheated on her, and claimed his longtime manager, Dave Free, fathered one of his two children.

Just as fans were reeling over what was happening, hip-hop’s boogeyman dropped another diss track titled “Meet the Grahams,” in which he spoke to various members of the 6 God’s family, including an alleged secret 11-year-old daughter.

All of this happened in less than a month, as both rappers are willing to pull out all the stops to secure the victory in this legendary battle. We’ve been waiting over a decade for these two to go at it with all the subliminals and sneak disses they’ve hurled at each other in the past and now we’re finally here with a total of six tracks across two rounds to dive into.

Check out Billboard‘s rankings of the diss tracks released by Drake and Kendrick Lamar below.

Kendrick Lamar Fires Back at Drake Yet Again With Scathing ‘Not Like Us’ Diss Track: Listen

Less than 24 hours after unleashing his “Meet the Grahams” diss track, Kendrick Lamar strikes against Drake yet again with the scathing “Not Like Us.”

On Saturday night (May 4), K. Dot dropped the Mustard-produced track on YouTube, marking his fourth diss against the 6 God, whose latest “Family Matters” arrived Friday evening.

On the hard-hitting “Not Like Us,” Lamar claims Drake and his “OV Hoe” team are pedophiles. The accompanying artwork for the song shows an aerial view of Drizzy’s mansion outside of Toronto, with red sex offender symbols placed on the home.

Trending on Billboard

“Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young/ You better not ever go to cell block one/ To any b—- that talk to him and they in love/ Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him,” Lamar raps over the potential club banger before referencing Drizzy’s 2021 album, Certified Lover Boy.

“They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs/ And party at the party, playin’ with his nose now/ And Baka got a weird case, why is he around?/ Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles.”

“Not Like Us” follows Kendrick’s “Meet the Grahams,” in which he calls out Drake for being a “deadbeat” father and alleges that the 6 God is hiding another child besides Adonis. “You lied about your son, you lied about your daughter, huh, you lied about them other kids that’s out there hoping that you come,” Lamar raps, alluding that Drake has a daughter.

Shortly after Lamar dropped “Meet the Grahams,” which arrived mere minutes after Drizzy’s eviscerating “Family Matters” diss, Drake responded to the claim on his Instagram Story. “nahhhh hold on can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me,” he jokingly wrote alongside a series of face with tears emojis. “these guys are in shambles.”

On Friday night, Drake dropped “Family Matters,” a seven-minute response to Lamar’s “6:16 in LA” diss track. On the track, Drizzy picks up where he left off to finish “Push Ups” and addresses K. Dot’s alleged fractured relationship with fiancee Whitney Alford, which he claims is filled with infidelity. Elsewhere, the 6 God also alleges that one of Kendrick’s kids could actually be Dave Free’s, Lamar’s pgLang partner. The diss also finds Drake setting his sights on A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, Future and Rick Ross.

This Is Not How You Spread Democracy: ‘Helldivers 2’ Pulled From 177 Countries On Steam Due To PSN Linking Requirement

'Helldivers 2' Pulled From 177 Countries On Steam

Source: Arrowhead Game Studios/ Sony Interactive Entertainment / Helldivers 2

Sony Interactive Entertainment’s decision to require PSN linking has destroyed any goodwill that Arrowhead Game Studios built with its fantastic game Helldivers 2.

Friday, gamers, specifically Helldivers 2 fans, did not have any kind words for Sony Interactive Entertainment, the publisher of Arrowhead’s game, after it announced, “Due to technical issues at the launch of Helldivers 2, we allowed the linking requirements for Steam accounts to a PlayStation Network account to be temporarily optional. That grace period will now expire.”

According to Sony, the bonehead decision was “critical” to the “safety and security” of Helldivers 2.

Following the announcement, gamers immediately pointed out that the PSN account linking would lead to many players no longer having access to the game via Steam because certain countries do not have PSN support.

Welp, those worries are bearing fruit.

Helldivers 2 Is No Longer Listed In 170 Territories Because of PSN Linking Requirement

Despite Helldivers 2’s community manager assuring players in countries without PSN support can continue playing the game and not worry about being denied access on Saturday, the game has been pulled from 170 territories lacking PSN support, according to listings from the Steam Database.

The fallout has been instantaneous.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Culture Crave notes that Helldivers 2’s Steam page has “over 100k negative reviews since [the] change was announced” and that “Steam is approving refund requests for players even if they’ve played over 2 hours.”

Like Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt, community managers are telling fans to direct their anger toward Sony Interactive Entertainment in hopes that bullying will make the company reverse its crappy decision.

As for the refunds, Valve is ignoring its policy by giving players who logged more than 100 hours spreading democracy and liberating Super Earth.

Steam usually only refunds players who have not exceeded 2 hours of playtime. Honestly, this is an intelligent decision on Valve’s part and an indication of how wrong Sony Interactive Entertainment’s decision was.

Gamers are still sounding off on Xitter about SIE’s ridiculous decision.

You can see those reactions in the gallery below.

1. G R E E D

2. Yup, to put it simply.

4. Exactly

8. We don’t want the game to be buried, let’s just hope Sony just changes it’s mind

Kendrick Lamar Drops Fiery “Not Like Us” Track, Xitter Has Eyes On Drake

Life Is Beautiful 2023 - Day 2 - Performance

Kendrick Lamar and Drake have engaged in an explosive back-and-forth that took a dark turn according to some observers but the onslaught is far from over. Fresh from dropping the blistering “Meet The Grahams” track, Kendrick Lamar took aim Drake and doubled down on some serious allegations with “Not Like Us.”

Produced by DJ Mustard, “Not Like Us” delivers what some are considering the first of the series of Lamar’s diss tracks to take a sonic approach that might end up getting burn outside of  content creator streaming channels and the headphones of dedicated fans.

Unlike the sinister “Meet The Grahams,” “Not Like Us” is a far more upbeat affair but still maintains the intensity from the previously released diss tracks with K-Dot not taking his foot up off the gas even in the slightest.

From “Not Like Us”:

Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young
You better not ever go to cell block one
To any b*tch that talk to him and they in love
Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him
They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs
And Party at the party, playin’ with his nose now
And Baka got a weird case, why is he around?
Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles
Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, Dot, f*ck ’em up
Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, I’ma do my stuff
Why you trollin’ like a b*tch? Ain’t you tired?
Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A-Minor

Honing in on the allegations that Drake has targeted younger women, K-Dot delivered the “A-Minor” in an extended sing-song fashion that was designed to cut deep. The bars above also take digs at the Canadian superstar’s head of security, Chubbs, PartyNextDoor, and Baka Not Nice, who reportedly forced a woman into prostitution and later plead guilty to assault and other charges back in 2015.

Although some fans thought Drizzy delivered a valiant effort with “Family Matters,” the pendulum is swinging in the direction of Kendrick Lamar, especially given the fact he took his time in responding to the earlier jabs but has unloaded the full clip.

On X, formerly Twitter, the debate of who is winning the battle rages on and we’ve got comments from all sides below.

Usher Is ‘Just as Disappointed as You Are’ About the Cancellation of Lovers & Friends in Las Vegas

Usher is sharing his frustration over the cancellation of the Lovers & Friends Festival 2024 in Las Vegas.

Shortly after organizers announced on Friday night (May 3) that the one-day music festival was called off due to dangerous weather conditions, the R&B icon shared a message with fans who were headed to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds to watch him headline on Saturday.

“Mannn… I’m just as disappointed as you are. We were getting ready to turn up and celebrate today,” Usher wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I have to follow the orders of city officials and the National Weather Service for everyone’s protection and stand strong in my belief that everything happens for a reason.”

He added, “I’m sorry we won’t get to see each other today, but know that I am always working on something to express my heartfelt gratitude for each and every one of you who continue to support me. I’ll see you soon.”

Trending on Billboard

Usher was set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his classic album Confessions during the festival on Saturday. The star-studded lineup also included headliners Janet Jackson and Backstreet Boys, along with performances by Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Nas, Alicia Keys, and many others.

Less than 15 hours before the festival was scheduled to begin, organizers shared a message on social media explaining that the outdoor event was being called off because of a high wind warning issued by the National Weather Service.

“The National Weather Service has now issued a High Wind Warning, including dangerous 30-35 mph sustained winds with gusts potentially more than 60 mph,” organizers wrote. “Following advice from the National Weather Service and in consultation with local public officials, we must make the safest decision for our fans, artists, and staff, and cancel tomorrow’s Lovers & Friends Festival.”

They added, “This was an incredibly heartbreaking decision to make as we are aware that fans have traveled from all over the world to enjoy this incredible lineup of superstars and have been looking forward to this event for several months. We’ve worked hard to create an amazing event for you, and we are just as disappointed as you are.”

Fans who purchased their tickets directly through Front Gate Tickets will receive a refund within 30 days, organizers said.

Charlie Puth Is Seemingly Taking Taylor Swift’s Lyrical Shout-Out as a ‘Sign’ to Release New Single

Charlie Puth seems to be taking Taylor Swift‘s recent lyrical shout-out as a sign to release his new song.

On Friday (May 3), the “See You Again” singer teased his upcoming single “Hero” just days after responding to Swift name-dropping him on the title track of her record-breaking double album, The Tortured Poets Department.

“These last couple weeks have been really crazy for obvious reasons, but I wanted to share something with you,” Puth wrote over a TikTok clip of himself crooning his forthcoming track.

“This is a song I wrote about my friend called ‘Hero.’ Sometimes I get a little nervous being overly honest in my music which is why this was sitting on my hard drive for awhile,” Puth added. “But I think someone out there was giving me a sign that I needed to release it.”

Trending on Billboard

The “Light Switch” single concluded his post, writing, “So…. I declare ‘Hero’ will be out everywhere on May 24th as the first single of my new album. Thank you for your support…you know who you are.”

Swift references Puth in the title track of her 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department, which dropped on April 19.

“You smoked then ate seven bars of chocolate/ We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist,” she sings on the song, which many fans have speculated features veiled references to Taylor’s reported brief 2023 fling with The 1975’s Matty Healy.

Puth first reacted to Swift’s unexpected mention in a post through social media on April 28. After Swift posted an image of the herself in the studio with TTPD scrawled in sharpie across the CD version of the sprawling collection, Puth put his own spin on it by grabbing one of the other studio images of a smiling Swift at work with the album’s title scrawled in black marker across the front.

“My mind is blown. I’m completely floored by the love you’ve shown this album,” Swift wrote alongside behind-the-scenes photos of images taken during the album’s recording.

“2.6 million ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?? Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed,” she continued. “I was already so fired up to get back to the tour but you doing THIS?? May 9th can’t come soon enough.”

Puth’s image came from Swift’s celebration of TTPD‘s record-setting run after Swift learned that the album marked her 14th debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Mariah The Scientist can sing but apparently, she can also throw hands. She is alleged to put the beats on a woman in Atlanta.

As reported on TMZ a woman named Cleopatra Dues filed a police report at Zone 2 precinct that the “Stone Cold” performer assaulted her on Monday, April 29. She alleges Mariah The Scientist ran up on her, attacked her, dragged her on the floor and ripped her wig off in the process. The “female grabbed her by her wig and pulled the wig off her head,” then “proceeded to drag her on the table and floor” the police report read. Dues claims she suffered injuries at the hands of the singer; specifically “bruises and cuts” and “visible bodily harm.” The incident took place at Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge; a restaurant located in the Buckhead section of Atlanta.

Customers at the venue took video of a woman snatching someone’s wig off but it is unclear if it was indeed Mariah The Scientist. The singer songwriter was arrested on Wednesday, May 1 on misdemeanor battery and simple battery charges. According to Fulton County Sheriff’s Office she posted a $5,000 bond and has since been released. Mariah The Scientist has been ordered to have no contact with the victim and not patronize Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge.

Mariah The Scientist is believed to be the girlfriend of Young Thug. You can see footage of the alleged incident below.

Drake Jokingly Asks for Help in Finding ‘Hidden Daughter’ Following Kendrick Lamar Diss Track Claim

Drake is making light of Kendrick Lamar‘s new claim that he has a secret daughter.

In the early hours of Saturday morning (May 4), K. Dot dropped the blistering diss track “Meet the Grahams” in which he calls out Drake for being a “deadbeat” father and alleging that the 6 God is hiding another child besides Adonis.

“nahhhh hold on can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me,” Drake jokingly wrote alongside a series of face with tears emojis. “these guys are in shambles.”

In the third verse of “Meet the Grahams,” K. Dot goes deeper into his claim about Drake’s alleged secret daughter.

“Dear baby girl/ I’m sorry that your father not active inside your world/ He don’t commit to much but his music, yeah, that’s for sure/ He a narcissist, misogynist, livin’ inside his songs/ Try destroy families rather than takin’ care of his own/ Should be teachin’ you time tables or watchin’ Frozen with you/ Or at your eleventh birthday, singin’ poems with you,” Lamar raps.
