Concurrent with its rise to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, “Carnival,” from Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Ty Dolla $ign, and featuring Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti, spends its second week at No. 1 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 posting March 14th.

“Carnival” holds the top spot, while a bunch of new tracks debut in the top 10. Ye and Ty Dollar $ign spend a second weekend at No. 1 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 for the chart posting March 14.
The rest of the top five is full of familiar tracks: Bryson Tiller’s “Whatever She Wants” lands at No. 8 because it’s been used for any and every trend. Cardi B’s first track in a while, “Like What (Freestyle),” debuts at No. 10.

It’s funny because all the things I was been b*tching about then I’m very grateful for now so it’s really ironic.

Selena Gomez that she hit rock bottom before grappling with her mental health. South by Southwest is in full swing in Austin, Texas and Billboard is on site and bring you the news.

It was about our journeys and we ended up relating a lot to each other and it was a turning point and I think it was more like how can we do that for other people.
Tetris Kelly:
Miss. Gomez was with her mother and discussed her vulnerable 2022 documentary ‘My Mind & Me’ at South by Southwest. The panel is titled ‘Mindfulness Over Perfection: Getting Real on Mental Health.’
Selena Gomez:
I think the moment I did that I felt this insane amount of release because there wasn’t any hiding anymore. There wasn’t- there wasn’t just this image that people can see and think oh, it looks nice, and it was probably one of the hardest moments of my life.
Tetris Kelly:
The 31-year-old filmed the doc over the course of six years and touches on her diagnosis with bipolar disorder.
Selena Gomez:
It’s helped release a lot of anxiety of keeping it in just to let people know I’m having- I’m having a hard day or or I just need a minute.
Tetris Kelly:
Gomez recently released her new single “Love On” which debuted at No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Some advice to my younger self would be to follow your gut instinct on everything that you think is cool. And also, don’t take anything that seriously and be sarcastic because I feel like I’m a very sarcastic person and I was always afraid to kind of show it and now I’m just like, so be yourself, I suppose is what I’m trying to say. Be yourself.

PinkPantheress received the Producer of the Year Award presented by Bose at Billboard Woman in Music. Since introducing herself on TikTok in 2020, PinkPantheress has toured the world, made her Hot 100 debut, and now joins Rosalía as the second artist to receive this prestigious award.

I’m just happy that I have the opportunity to be recognized in a specific field by the Billboard Women in Music Awards. I watched Rosalía get this last year and that’s my queen.

Billboard and Bose partnered to present PinkPantheress with the Producer of the Year honor, and are dedicated to creating spaces for women in production. Before the show, social media star and emerging musician Kenzie Ziegler stunned on the red carpet wearing a custom pair of Bose Ultra Open Earbuds designed by Maggie Simpkins. Ziegler talked to us about the design and what the night means to her.

First of all, they’re awesome. I actually got to try them before tonight, which was so nice. I’ve been using them, but I worked with this amazing designer named Maggie Simpkins. And then my amazing stylist, they coordinated this so well. We wanted to go for a really classy look, but also kind of more edgy up top and I love how it turned out. I feel so cool right now.

I feel like I’ve always been very inspired by my shows. The first time I played a 500-person venue room was so inspiring. And then I feel like that going all the way up to playing football stadiums has just been like, continuously inspiring. And I think I got a little like, you know, two or three years ago, I got a little worn out of like, really dance music, focus stuff. That’s why I wanted to really experiment with the rock, dance music blend on my album, which was super fulfilling as like an artist. And now I’m really inspired by more electronic stuff again, there’s something so special about like a dance focused anthem, just like feels so good. And like there’s just really good positivity and energy around that type of song that I really miss, you know, and I want to return to. It was random, just like our teams had randomly talked about “Anti-Hero.” My A&R Ryan was like, hey, what do you think about “Anti-Hero?” I was like, love that song, he was like remix? I was like, Yeah, I’m down. They sent me stems that night. I finished it in like 36 hours. And I sent it to him on like a Monday night the after. They responded Tuesday night. Hey, this coming out tomorrow? It was crazy. Yeah, I was like, okay, like, do you do whatever you want. I think her fans really enjoyed the remixes like the remix for sure. And I think I did it because I mean, I love Taylor Swift. Like she was back in high school, one of her songs was like top 25 on iTunes most played.

My name is Tracee Ellis Ross, I’m the host this evening. Five things you don’t know about me: One, I love olives. My favorite olive is a green olive — not with a pimiento; with a pit. Couldn’t think of the word. Another thing that you should know about me that other people don’t know that’s very important for you to know about me is I love gum, chewing gum. Very big on chewing gum. I love chewing gum. I eat chewing gum like it’s going out of style. And I like to eat the gum, spit the gum out, stick it somewhere, hopefully in a garbage can. And then eat more gum. It’s a problem. What’s the next thing you should know about me? My favorite of all beverages? Water. What’s the fourth thing you would know about me? Oh, I’m extremely organized. And when I say organized, I mean problematic. And before I was acting, I used to go into companies and organize them. My first job was at a bank. I was organizing files. Oh, I’m sorry, a sixth one. I worked for Arsenio Hall. I interned for Arsenio Hall. Exactly. I was reading scripts. I mean, I didn’t really think I was doing anything but they told me that I was like, you know, helping make sense of things. In all honesty, it was my idea. Right, that’s what people don’t know about. Now you know.
