Following the Sept. 18 premiere of Agatha All Along, music from the Disney+ series stirs up a debut on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart.
“The Ballad of the Witches’ Road (Sacred Chant)” – billed as by Kathryn Hahn, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Patti LuPone, Debra Jo Rupp and the Agatha All Along cast – enters the chart (dated Oct. 5) at No. 22. The song, on Marvel/Hollywood Records, sold 2,000 downloads in the United States in the Sept. 20-26 tracking week, according to Luminate.
Hahn stars in Agatha All Along as Agatha Harkness, a neighborhood witch who was introduced on Disney+’s WandaVision. In the new series, Harkness loses her powers after a teen helps break her free from a “distorted spell,” per the show’s official description, and sets out on a “magical gauntlet of trials” in an attempt to return them.
In addition to Hahn, Zamata, Ahn, LuPone and Rupp, Agatha All Along stars Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Joe Locke, Okwui Okpokwasili and Aubrey Plaza.

Music tied to the series first enchanted Billboard charts in 2021. That March, “Agatha All Along,” a 62-second track from WandaVision, logged a week at No. 36 on Digital Song Sales. The song is credited to Hahn, Robert Lopez, Eric Bradley, Greg Whipple, Jasper Randall and Gerald White, and became the first Billboard chart entry for all six vocalists.
Zamata, Ahn and Rupp each earn their first Billboard chart appearance with “The Ballad of the Witches’ Road.” Broadway legend LuPone, whose accolades include two Tony Awards, has logged two entries on the Heatseekers Albums chart: Patti LuPone at Les Mouches (No. 25 peak, 2008) and Far Away Places: Live at 54 Below (No. 44, 2013). She had last reached a ranking with “Let Us Adore You”; billed to the Steven Universe Cast featuring LuPone, Christine Ebersol, Lisa Hannigan and Sarah Stiles, it hit No. 15 on Kid Digital Song Sales in 2019.
