Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift Kisses Travis Kelce in New Photo

Taylor Swift’s got that red lip, classic thing that Travis Kelce likes — and that’s why she planted a kiss on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s cheek.

In a new Instagram photo posted by wide receiver Mecole Hardman’s girlfriend Chiarah Gordon on Monday (Oct. 23), the couple is seen smiling and posing with Swift and Kelce. However, in the second photo of the carousel, the “Lavender Haze” singer is seen planting a kiss on the tight end’s cheek. See the photos here.

While this is the first kiss we’ve seen between the rumored couple, the duo have been seen holding hands frequently over the past few weeks, most recently after the Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers game on Sunday night (Oct. 22). Swift and Kelce were interlocking fingers as they left Arrowhead Stadium, marking the fourth Chiefs match attended by the 12-time Grammy winner this season. For the occasion, she rocked a Chiefs sweater and represented Kelce with a a No. 87 friendship bracelet.

Last weekend, Swift and Kelce held hands in New York City on their way to the Oct. 14 Saturday Night Live after party, shortly after the two made surprise cameos on the show’s season 49 premiere. The next day, they grabbed dinner at a restaurant in the West Village, hand-in-hand again.

It’s been an exciting week for Swift, whose “Cruel Summer” hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 songs chart dated Oct. 28, 2023. The song, which previously peaked at No. 3, was originally released on Swift’s 2019 Republic Records album Lover.

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Leave Chiefs vs. Chargers Game Holding Hands

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got big reputations for holding hands. A week after the couple was first spotted hand-in-hand at the Saturday Night Live afterparty, the “Anti-Hero” singer and Kansas City tight end were once again interlocking fingers as they left the Chiefs vs. Chargers game Sunday (Oct. 22).

The sweet moment came after Kelce assisted the Chiefs in defeating Los Angeles 31-17 at Arrowhead Stadium, which Swift watched from a private box suite with Brittany Mahomes, wife of KC quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The pop star later exited the venue with the New Heights podcaster at her side, the pair matching in red shirts (and Swift wearing a No. 87 friendship bracelet).

Sunday’s game marks the fourth Chiefs match attended by the 12-time Grammy winner this season, and the third home game she’s shown up to in support of her new beau’s team. Earlier this month, she appeared at an away game against the Jets in New York City, arriving to MetLife Stadium with a fleet of celebrity friends including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner and Hugh Jackman.

Last weekend, Swift and Kelce all but confirmed their long-rumored romance by holding hands on their way to the Oct. 14 SNL afterparty, shortly after the two made surprise cameos on the show’s season 49 premiere. The next day, they grabbed dinner at a restaurant in the West Village, hand-in-hand again.

“I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always having the sense that I’m a man in the situation,” Kelce recently said on New Heights of his outings with Swift. “I’m protective, yeah, for sure. You always have to have that feeling or self-awareness.”

NFL Celebrates ‘National Tight Ends Day’ With Rap Video Featuring Travis Kelce, George Kittle & More

It’s time to celebrate your favorite tight end, as Sunday (Oct. 22) is the NFL‘s National Tight Ends Day.

National Tight Ends Day first started in 2019 after San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was caught in a mic’d-up segment making a joke about tight ends having their own a holiday — and he got his wish, as it’s now celebrated every fourth Sunday in October.

This year, Kittle took his goal for tight end appreciation a step further by recruiting his 49ers teammates Christian McCaffrey, Ross Dwelley, Charlie Woerner and Kyle Juszczyk for a hilarious National Tight Ends Day music video featuring all five athletes hanging out in a convertible — with Kittle at the wheel — to sing about the importance that tight ends hold in the NFL.

“We move/ We pivot/ We catch, pass and we hit it/ Just cruise/ No gimmicks/ We’re the tight ends, let’s get it,” they sing in the hook, as various tight ends from the NFL flash across the screen.

In a post shared across the NFL’s social media channels, the league wrote alongside the cheeky music video: “Your favorite player’s favorite holiday… #NationalTightEndsDay is officially back. Let’s get it.”

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce makes a few cameos in the clip, strutting confidently through the tunnel and busting out one of his signature celebration dances. Kelce is one of the most notable tight ends in the league right now, winning two Super Bowls with the Chiefs, starring in countless commercials, and dominating the headlines over the past month-plus due to his budding relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Kelly Clarkson Clarifies She Didn’t ‘Bash’ Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Romance

Kelly Clarkson is setting the record straight about her comments regarding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s romance.

During The Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday (Oct. 19), the pop star and TV personality joked about the NFL’s constant coverage of the couple’s budding relationship.

“It’s not hilarious how it is literally taking over the NFL for people that like watching sports now,” Clarkson told her guest, Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang. “It’s like you’re watching Housewives while you’re watching.”

She added, “They’re just talking about gossip things and you’re like, ‘So, what about the play?’”

On Saturday (Oct. 21), the “Stronger” singer took to social media to respond to claims that she was bashing Swift and Kelce’s relationship.

“Just a quick public service announcement everybody since this seems to be breaking news…” Clarkson began her message on Instagram. “Do not fall prey to clickbait, trash reporters twisting the facts again. I did not bash anyone’s romance. I am pro romance. Yay romance.”

She continued, “Did y’all even watch what I actually said on my show? I just said I want to watch football when I tune in to watch football. Seems an appropriate request. Okay, carry on, and GO COWBOYS!”

Both Swift and Kelce made surprise cameos during the season 49 premiere of SNL on Oct. 14. The pop star helped introduce musical guest Ice Spice and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end appeared in a skit that parodied the NFL’s Swift-centric coverage of her recent attendance streak at his games.

Bowen Yang Had No Clue Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Were Going to Make ‘SNL’ Cameos

Fans are still reeling from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s surprise cameos on last weekend’s Saturday Night Live season 49 premiere. And apparently, so is the cast of SNL.

Cast member Bowen Yang confirmed that he wasn’t informed the world’s buzziest new pair was dropping by the show, much less planning on making small appearances on camera during the Saturday (Oct. 14) Pete Davidson-hosted program. When asked on the Las Culturistas podcast by his co-host Matt Rogers whether he was given a heads up about that night’s guests of honor, he said with disbelief: “No. They just came.”

“It was dress rehearsal, like great, that was fun,” he continued on the Wednesday (Oct. 18) episode. “I walk outside to go to my makeup chair, I see two people talking to two tall people. Tallest people in the world.”

“By the way, it’s one thing to see them individually,” added the Fire Island star. “I see them together and I go, ‘I’m in the Redwood Forest.’”

As Kelce himself recently confirmed, he and his new love interest had originally planned to attend SNL simply to show support for Swift’s friend and “Karma” collaborator, Ice Spice, who was that weekend’s musical guest. He was then asked if he wanted to participate in a skit already planned for the evening that just so happened to poke fun at the NFL’s coverage of his and Swift’s romance.

“I didn’t know what the skit was, like, which skits were coming up,” Kelce explained on his New Heights podcast. “I’m pretty sure it was just ironic they were doing a skit on Swiftmania. I thought it was hilarious when they asked me to be a part of it. I was like, ‘Man I’d be honored.’”

“I don’t even remember what I said — I blacked out,” he continued. “As soon as they cued to me, the entire place erupted, which was very overwhelming, and I’m not even sure if I said anything.”

Later, Swift also turned up onscreen to introduce one of Ice Spice’s performances. After the show wrapped, the pop star and Chiefs tight end were spotted arriving at the SNL afterparty together, holding hands.

Chiefs Coach Andy Reid Jokes He Deserves Credit for Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Romance: ‘I’m Just Saying!’

Amid Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s blooming romance, Chiefs coach Andy Reid joked that he deserves some bragging rights. After all, he knew the pop star first.

“I knew her from Philadelphia, her dad was a big NFL fan,” Reid said in a recent episode of Donovan McNabb’s OutKick. “So I had met her when she was real young, and her dad.”

Swift and Kelce’s love story has been playing out in front of the whole world in recent weeks, fueled by the “Anti-Hero” singer’s string of appearances at Chiefs games (where she’s often seen sharing a box suite with the tight end’s parents). Shortly after she originally broke the internet by attending her first game at Arrowhead Stadium in September, Reid quipped in a post-game press conference that he had set the pair up before quickly walking away.

“I joked about setting Kelce up, and, you know, I’m just saying!” Reid recalled Tuesday (Oct. 17), laughing.

“She’s a good girl, she’s into it,” he added. “We’re glad she’s here.”

Reid is far from the only NFL pro with a claim to fame regarding the pair, though. Long before Kelce and Swift started dating, sports commentator Erin Andrews had taken to her podcast Calm Down, which she co-hosts with Charissa Thompson, to publicly ask the “Karma” musician to “please try our friend Travis.”

“Take us up on this — go on a date with this guy,” she’d added in the August episode, which dropped not long after Kelce first confessed that he’d tried unsuccessfully to give Swift his phone number at an Eras Tour show.

After reports surfaced that he and the 12-time Grammy winner may be dating, Kelce himself commented under one of Andrews and Thompson’s posts, “?? You two are something else!! ???? I owe you big time!!”

Andrews recently opened up about her role in getting the pair together on TODAY, joking that she’s “the new Bumble.” “He’s got a glow to him,” she added as she reacted to photos of Kelce and Swift holding hands. “That’s a glow up, girls. He looks fantastic.”

Travis Kelce Reflects on His & Taylor Swift’s Surprise ‘SNL’ Cameos: ‘It Was Electric to Be Back’

Saturday Night Live’s season 49 premiere on Oct. 14 was one for the books, thanks in particular to two surprise appearances from Taylor Swift and her new beau, Travis Kelce. But in the Oct. 18 episode of his podcast New Heights, the Kansas City Chiefs tight reflected on their viral cameos, and revealed that the his actually came together somewhat last minute.

“We showed up at SNL having the idea of going to support Ice Spice,” Travis told his brother and New Heights co-host, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. “Her and Taylor are good friends. I always wanted to meet Pete Davidson — been a fan of his for quite a while.”

“I didn’t know what the skit was, like, which skits were coming up,” Travis explained on his podcast.

Davidson, who hosted the program, starred in a skit that parodied the NFL’s Swift-centric coverage of the pop star’s recent attendance streak at Travis’ games. At the very end of the sketch, Keenan Thompson (playing NFL sportscaster Curt Menefee) declared, “When we get back, we are going to speak with someone who actually wants to talk football,” prompting cameras to pan to the Ohio native for the closing line.

“It was electric to be back in that place,” the tight end — who hosted SNL in March — added. “There is just something about being in that room and it just being their first episode this season. I had such a frickin’ blast, man!”

Later during the season premiere, Swift herself popped up to introduce Ice Spice, who made her debut as musical guest. “Absolutely killed it,” Travis added of the “Munch” rapper’s performance.

As jaw-dropping as Swift and Kelce’s unexpected appearances were, however, fans may have been even more excited to see the two holding hands on their way to the SNL afterparty. Photos and videos surfaced of the 6’5″ athlete pretty much taking over the role of Swift’s bodyguard, helping her in and out of the car and always keeping a hand or arm around her.

“I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always having the sense that I’m a man in the situation,” Travis recalled to Jason. “I’m protective, yeah, for sure. You always have to have that feeling or self-awareness, I guess.”

Plus, the two brothers poked fun at their father over the much-talked-about moment Ed Kelce was spotted by NFL cameras making conversation with Swift at the Oct. 12 Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos game. “He shouldn’t be talking to Taylor Swift,” Jason said, laughing, as Travis added, “This is a terrifying conversation, I felt terrible for Taylor for being in this.”

“You can see in this picture all he’s doing is just pumping her up,” Travis continued. “He’s started listening to her music a little more.”

Sportscaster Al Michaels Is All About Taylor Swift’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ Cameo: ‘We Love It, Man’

NFL fans seem to have mixed feelings about all the coverage Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s relationship is getting across various sports broadcasts, but Thursday Night Football announcer Al Michaels is all for it.

“We love it, man,” Michaels told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Swift attended last week’s Thursday night game between Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos, once again making headlines for sharing a suite with Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, and hugging Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“We had to be judicious,” Michaels told Kimmel about figuring out how best to address Swift’s presence on the Prime Video broadcast. “We had the game last Thursday night in Kansas City. We knew she’d be there. So how much do you show her? She’d been on twice, and football fans were going, ‘Enough.’ But we were praying she’d come into the booth and sing for us,” he said with a laugh.

Kimmel played a clip of Michaels fumbling his words while trying to describe Swift on the broadcast, as he settled on calling her Kelce’s “good buddy and girlfriend.”

“So is she his good buddy or his girlfriend, Al?” Kimmel said, ribbing the announcer. “You can’t be both!”

“You know, you’re doing a game like that, I know the Internet’s gonna blow up,” Michaels said. “Page Six is waiting for whatever I say. You know what I really wanted to say? ‘Fiancee.’ I didn’t because I figured Travis would beat me up at the end of the game. … Or [Swift] would have beat me up.”

In the end, Michaels and company wanted to make sure football came first in the broadcast. “It’s hard because people tune in to watch a football game,” he said. “I’m not doing Access Hollywood.”

Following Thursday’s game, Swift and Kelce confirmed their long-rumored relationship by attending the Saturday Night Live afterparty over the weekend hand-in-hand. (Find a full timeline of their relationship so far here.)

Erin Andrews Opens Up About Her Role in Setting Up Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce: ‘I’m the New Bumble’

Erin Andrews for the win. After using her podcast to publicly urge Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to start dating — which the two eventually did, based on recent photos of them holding hands — the sports commentator has now opened up about her matchmaking success in a new interview with TODAY.

“I’m the new Bumble,” Andrews joked to hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie on Tuesday (Oct. 17).

“I have left him alone, although I am going to bug him this week because I just want to check in,” she added, noting that Kelce never asked her to endorse him to Swift. “I know him obviously, better than her. He looks adorable.”

To recap, Andrews and her Calm Down podcast cohost Charissa Thompson served as wing-women for Kelce back in August. After hearing that the Kansas City tight end had tried unsuccessfully to give his phone number to Swift at an Eras Tour show, they implored the “Anti-Hero” musician to “please try our friend Travis, he is fantastic!”

“Take us up on this — go on a date with this guy,” Andrews had urged at the time. “Do it for America.”

Less than two months later, Swift made a surprise appearance at the Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium, where she was spotted cheering on Kelce alongside his mom, Donna, and leaving the stadium with the football star at her side after the game. And that Chiefs jacket the pop superstar has been spotted wearing? Andrews revealed on TODAY that she sent it to Swift. “I sent her the team apparel jacket and she wore it!” the sports commentator gushed. “I just sent it to her, and you never know if people will really wear it, and she showed up!”

Swift has now attended several games, and the pop star was most recently spotted with Kelce over the weekend, holding hands as they grabbed dinner in New York City.

The night before that, the two made their public debut as a couple. After they both made surprise cameos in Saturday Night Live‘s season 49 premiere episode, Swift and Kelce attended the afterparty together.

On TODAY, Andrews reacted to the hand-holding photos seen ’round the world. “He’s got a glow to him,” she said of Kelce. “That’s a glow up, girls. He looks fantastic.”

And while the world will probably never know what exactly motivated Swift to give Kelce a chance, the athlete himself saluted Andrews and Thompson earlier this month for their efforts in swaying the singer in his direction. “?? You two are something else!! ???? I owe you big time!!” he commented on one of their Instagram posts.

“I’m a huge fan of his, work with him, he’s great,” Andrews added about Kelce on TODAY. “He sent Mack [Andrews’ newborn son] an adorable baby gift just out of the blue, so sweet, and I was just like, ‘Check, check and check.’”
