Travis Kelce’s Ex Kayla Nicole Makes a Halloween Statement, Dressing Up as Toni Braxton in ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’ Music Video

Trending on Billboard

Kayla Nicole’s costume for this year’s Halloween is bound to turn some heads. On Friday (Oct. 31), the podcaster unveiled her spooky-season tribute to Toni Braxton — specifically the R&B icon’s 2000 music video for “He Was’t Man Enough.”

In a clip posted to Instagram, Nicole — who dated Travis Kelce on and off from 2017 to 2022 — rocks a purple bikini topped by a revealing dress made of sparkly silver netting. Splicing in footage from Braxton’s visual, the presenter re-creates the sensual choreography performed by the “Un-Break My Heart” singer in the project.

“She’s an icon. She’s a legend,” Nicole wrote in the caption. “She’s @tonibraxton circa 2000. #Halloween25.”

The video is sure to get people talking: The song of choice — which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 — finds Braxton teasing an ex-boyfriend’s new partner, singing, “Who do you think I am?/ Don’t you know that he was my man?/ But I chose to let him go/ So why do you act like I still care about him?”

The lyrics Nicole sings along to in the video she posted are especially eyebrow-raising, considering the fact that Kelce will soon be married to Taylor Swift after getting engaged to the pop star this past August. “Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend?/ I’m not thinking ’bout him/ But you married him,” the fitness entrepreneur mouths along to Braxton’s voice.

“Do you know I made him leave?/ Do you know he begged to stay with me?/ He wasn’t man enough for me.”

Nicole is no stranger to making big statements with her Halloween costumes. Last year, she revealed that she once dressed up as the woman an ex had “dumped” her for on the holiday, after which the fans connected the dots back to Teyana Taylor, who married Iman Shumpert after the NBA star dated Nicole. Shortly afterward, Taylor appeared to react to the revelation by making a post on Instagram set to Swift’s hit “Shake It Off,” writing, “I know 2025 gone hate to see a Taylor coming!!”

Nicole also enjoys honoring her favorite musicians in general on Halloween, dressing up as Ciara in 2024.

Turning up for Game 4 on Thursday (June 12), the pair were in attendance at Sunrise’s Amerant Bank Arena to watch the Edmonton Oilers reign supreme over the Florida Panthers, with the 5-4 result coming via an overtime goal from Leon Draisaitl.

However, with Swift and Kelce in the crowd, ice hockey was of least concern for fans of the musician, with announcers focusing on the pair to describe them as “musical and sporting royalty.” Likewise, even a photo of the pair taken during the game’s second period with Canadian hockey icon Wayne Gretzky failed to overtake the excitement generated by Swift’s presence.

Per a recent report from People, Swift is currently staying with Kelce at his Florida residence while he’s in training for the upcoming NFL season. In February, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end made the decision that he would return to professional football for another season, with the upcoming season set to be his last under contract with the team.

Earlier this month, Travis and brother Jason spoke to former professional basketball player Shaquille O’Neal on their New Heights podcast, where the NBA icon suggested that Travis could follow in his footsteps of his DJ moniker Diesel and become an opening act for Swift.

“You know what [would be] crazy? You opening up with your girlfriend,” O’Neal suggested. “Bro, you’d be a f–king star. Ten minutes hyping up the crowd, oh my God.”

“Come on, you know I’m a hype man,” Kelce said while laughing. “You know I’m a hype man. Get it rocking in there. Have the Swifties bouncing off the walls before T gets out there.”

Justin Timberlake & Travis Kelce Take Dance Break at Festive 8AM Golf Tournament in Las Vegas

Justin Timberlake was joined by the Kelce brothers at his 2025 8AM Golf Invitational.

On Sunday (April 27), the 44-year-old pop superstar shared a festive behind-the-scenes video on Instagram from the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas, featuring himself with Travis and Jason Kelce, retired swimmer Michael Phelps, former NBA star Blake Griffin, and other celebrity athletes.

Set to James Brown, Fred Wesley and The J.B.’s’ “People Get Up and Drive Your Funky Soul,” the New Heights podcast co-hosts take center stage in the clip, with Travis showcasing a few dance moves on the golf course alongside Timberlake.

The golf outing marked one of the first public appearances for the Kelce brothers since the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s Super Bowl loss in February. The NFL star’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was not featured in any of the video, and it was unclear at press time whether the pop icon was in Vegas for the 8AM Golf Invitational.

Timberlake and the Kelce brothers also appeared to enjoy a boys’ night out in Sin City. On Saturday, Travis and Jason were spotted playing cards with the “SexyBack” singer.

Jason, who sported a large straw hat and a colorful patterned vest during the trip, welcomed his fourth child — a daughter named Finnley “Finn” Anne — with his wife, Kylie, in early April. The couple also shares young daughters Wyatt Elizabeth, Elliotte Ray and Bennett Llewellyn.

Meanwhile, the *NSYNC star is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, supporting his sixth solo album, Everything I Thought It Was, which features the moody R&B single “Selfish.” The album, Timberlake’s follow-up to his 2018 Man of the Woods release, dropped in March 2024.

Following a pair of live appearances in May, Timberlake heads to Europe for a series of dates, starting in Milan, Italy on June 2 and concluding in late July.

Here’s Why Travis Kelce Won’t Be Attending the 2025 Grammys With Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce won’t be attending the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift — but he has a pretty good reason.

In the lead-up to the Grammys ceremony at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday (Feb. 2), the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will be practicing with his team ahead of Super Bowl LIX, according to Page Six.

Swift, who will be at the Grammys as a presenter, is nominated in six categories, including the top three — album, record and song of the year. She’s also vying for her fifth album of the year win with The Tortured Poets Department, which topped the Billboard 200 for 17 nonconsecutive weeks.

Meanwhile, Kelce and the Chiefs are gearing up for their Super Bowl matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9 at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. Swift is expected to attend the game, just like she did at last year’s Super Bowl. If the Chiefs win, they’ll become the first NFL team to claim three championships in a row.

Kendrick Lamar will serve as the halftime performer at the game, where he’ll be joined by SZA.

After the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 26, Kelce celebrated with his mother, Donna, and Swift on the field. In a video shared by the NFL, Swift marveled, “This is so insane,” as she urged Kelce to take in the scene at K.C.’s Arrowhead Stadium. “This is not a real-life situation.”

This marks the second year Kelce won’t be able to attend the Grammys with Swift. In January 2024, he explained on The Pat McAfee Show, “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for.” He added, “Unfortunately, I’ve got to get ready for this big ol’ Super Bowl we got in a week.”

Last year, just hours after wrapping up her final Eras tour show in Tokyo, Swift flew to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to support Kelce and the Chiefs at Super Bowl LVIII. Following the team’s victory, she and Kelce shared a kiss on the field, and she affectionately watched as he gave a speech to the fans.

Taylor Swift Brings the Heat to Chiefs-Texans Playoff Game in Chilly Kansas City

Taylor Swift is back in Kansas City to support boyfriend Travis Kelce at the Chiefs’ first playoff game of the season.

On Saturday (Jan. 18), the 35-year-old pop icon was spotted arriving at Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC divisional round matchup between the Chiefs and the Houston Texans. Despite the chilly temperatures, Swift turned up the heat with a stylish checkered coat, paired with a black top, skirt and knee-high boots.

The “Anti-Hero” singer entered the stadium in a golf cart alongside her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, as well as other family and friends.

Kelce recently hinted on The Pat McAfee Show that Swift would be in attendance, adding to the growing speculation that her presence is a good-luck charm for the Chiefs. In the 20-something games Swift has attended, the team boasts a stellar 17-3 record.

Since beginning her relationship with Kelce in 2023, Swift has been a frequent visitor at Chiefs games, including the 2024 Super Bowl, which saw Kansas City take home the championship. Just before Christmas, she was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium in a chic, furry red coat.

On Friday (Jan. 17), Swift was seen dining with her parents at Nobu Downtown in New York City, wearing a sleek all-black ensemble.

Kelce recently spoke about his relationship with Swift on the Stephen A. Smith Show. When asked about it, the 35-year-old tight end said, “I’m enjoying all aspects of life, that’s for damn sure, man.” He added, “Me and Taylor are happy and I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for stadium.”

The NFL star, who has been playing for the NFL for about 12 years, also addressed his future with the Chiefs, revealing that Swift is fully supportive of his career.

“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” the New Heights podcaster said of the singer. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me.”

“So I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams,” he continued. “I think personally, that’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft.”

Here’s What Travis Kelce Has to Say When Asked If Taylor Swift Is Writing Songs About a ‘Good’ Guy After ‘So Many F-Boys’

Travis Kelce may have accidentally dropped a Taylor Swift Easter egg.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday (Jan. 13), where he was asked about being around his Grammy-winning girlfriend while she’s finding musical inspiration.

“Let’s just say you’re hanging and out and having a little dinner and all of the sudden the creative juice sparks,” McAfee began, “and the absolute beast that you’re sitting with who is going to go down as maybe the most famous icon in the history of music … are you a motivator every single time?”

Kelce responded that he would “never chime in” during Swift’s writing process, “but I’m here to support it. I’m here to see where it can go.”

When McAfee suggested Swift might be working on an album about a “good” guy (joking that he’d heard about all the “f—boys” on previous albums, thanks to his Swiftie wife), Kelce cheekily said, “There might be a few.”

“You know I can’t say, you know I can’t say… any of that,” he continued. “I hear music everywhere.”

The superstar’s last album was The Tortured Poets Department, which was released back in April. Swift’s 31-track 11th studio album was No. 1 on the 2024 year-end Billboard 200 albums chart, followed at No. 2 by Swift’s own 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which was released in 2023. Tortured Poets outperformed all of her past albums on the Billboard 200 by spending 15 weeks at the top of the chart. The LP arrived amid Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, which wrapped last month after 149 shows.

Elsewhere in the new interview, Kelce talks to McAfee about his role in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore sequel and how “bananas” the crowd was at the Eras Tour concert at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium in November.

Taylor Swift Celebrates 35th Birthday With Eras-Themed Party

It’s been a big year for Taylor Swift, so it only makes sense that she would celebrate her 35th birthday with an appropriately-large party.

Swift turned 35 on Friday (Dec. 13), just days after wrapping up Era Tour, which has assumed the throne of the highest-grossing tour of all time, by artists of any genre, and from any era in music history. Already, however, she’s celebrated with a number of special events, including sharing a cache of behind-the-scenes videos, and taking out an additional ten Billboard Music Awards – bringing her total to a massive 49.

The celebrations haven’t ended there, though, with reports that Swift’s partner, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, gifted $175,000 worth of floral arrangements and jewellery for her birthday.

Now, her birthday week has continued with a party apparently inspired by the conclusion of Swift’s Eras tour. An Instagram post from Brittany Mahomes showed the former soccer player decked out in an outfit that pays homage to Swift’s Fearless album, while husband and Kelce’s Chiefs teamate Patrick Mahomes sporting a suit reminiscent of the “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” costume change.

Elsewhere, Lyndsay Bell (wife of the Chiefs’ Blake Bell) could be seen wearing an outfit apparently inspired by Swift’s Lover era, while close friend Ashley Avignone sported a snake around her neck in reference to Reputation.

Other photos from the event also show friendship bracelets on offer as well, heavily referring back to the same bracelets which have become synonymous with Swift thanks to the Era tour.

Swift’s birthday celebrations have also coincided with her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, topping the Billboard 200 for the 17th week this week (chart dated Dec. 21), bringing her career total of weeks spent at No. 1 to 86 – second only to The Beatles at 130 weeks.

Caitlin Clark Says Taylor Swift Invited Her to Watch a Kansas City Chiefs Game

Catilin Clark is in her Swiftie era!

The basketball superstar was named Time’s Athlete of the Year this week, and in the corresponding cover story published on Tuesday (Dec. 10), the WNBA athlete recalled attending “back-to-back” Eras Tour performances during Taylor Swift’s run at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind., back in early November. She added that during one of the shows, she met with Swift’s boyfriend and fellow athlete Travis Kelce, as well as his mom Donna Kelce.

Clark also recalled that her appearance at the Eras Tour caught the attention of Swift herself, and the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer sent her “four bags” of Eras Tour merch, which she says came with a note. In the message, Swift reportedly praised Clark’s skyrocketing career, before inviting her to attend an upcoming Kansas City Chiefs game with her. Swift added that “Trav and I” are aiming to watch her play at an upcoming Indiana Fever game.

Kelce previously opened up about meeting Clark during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. “Saw Caitlin Clark there, got to meet Caitlin. She’s awesome, she loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city, and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart,” said Travis, who grew up in Ohio’s Cleveland Heights, and went to college at the University of Cincinnati. “Played high school ball, college ball, pro ball all out here in the Midwest, and it was cool catching up with her.”

Taylor Swift Attends Chiefs-Raiders Game in KC With Travis Kelce’s Mom Donna

Taylor Swift is spending the Thanksgiving weekend with the Kelce family.

On Black Friday (Nov. 29), the 34-year-old pop superstar was spotted arriving at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., with her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, ahead of the Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Swift, who is currently enjoying a well-deserved break before the final dates of her blockbuster The Eras Tour, was all smiles as she arrived in a red sweater and black pants. The “I Can’t Make You Love Me” singer was joined by her dad, Scott, who proudly wore a Chiefs jacket.

Swift recently wrapped up a six-night run at Toronto’s Rogers Centre and will conclude The Eras Tour with a three-night stint at Vancouver’s BC Place from Dec. 6-8.

The Chiefs tight end, who has attended over a dozen Eras Tour shows since first seeing Swift in Kansas City last summer, caught her concert in Amsterdam with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes — and Kelce even made a surprise onstage cameo in London.

While Swift enjoyed Black Friday’s matchup between the Chiefs and Raiders, Swifties were flocking to Target’s nearly 2,000 stores across the country to grab exclusive merchandise. This year, the retail giant partnered with the Grammy-winner to offer a range of special items, including a Black Friday-exclusive version of The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD, as well as Swift’s official The Eras Tour book.

“Ok shopping in target was so enjoyable today! ONLY Taylor swift music played the entire time, plenty of books, nice people. I talked to some sweet swifties. Successful Black Friday!!” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Here Are All the Outfits Taylor Swift Has Worn to Kansas City Chiefs Games

Ever since Taylor Swift began dating Travis Kelce, the multi-Grammy winner has become a mainstay at Kansas City Chiefs games, often seen supporting her Super Bowl champion boyfriend from a suite in Arrowhead Stadium.

Beyond her reactions to the intensity of the games, Swift has become known for the Chiefs-themed outfits she wears to the events. From Chiefs sweatshirts and bomber jackets to sleek matching sets and over-the-knee boots, the superstar is always dressed to the nines — complete with her signature red lipstick.

Swift has become so immersed in the football life, that she’s even begun suggesting plays to Kelce. During an episode of The Rich Eisen Show in September, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed, “She had just been so open to learning the game. She didn’t know much about the rules and everything,” before adding, “I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she’s so detailed in every aspect of it, from the words to her music and even the releases and the music videos and everything. She’s just so detailed and apart of it, that I think she was just curious about the profession. I know none of the plays have gotten to Coach [Andy] Reid yet. If they ever do, I’ll let everyone know it was her creation.”

To honor Taylor Swift’s jaw-dropping sporty chic looks at the Kansas City Chiefs games, we’ve compiled a gallery of photos featuring all her looks over the past two seasons. Check it out below.
