Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce won’t be attending the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift — but he has a pretty good reason.
In the lead-up to the Grammys ceremony at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday (Feb. 2), the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will be practicing with his team ahead of Super Bowl LIX, according to Page Six.

Swift, who will be at the Grammys as a presenter, is nominated in six categories, including the top three — album, record and song of the year. She’s also vying for her fifth album of the year win with The Tortured Poets Department, which topped the Billboard 200 for 17 nonconsecutive weeks.

Meanwhile, Kelce and the Chiefs are gearing up for their Super Bowl matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9 at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. Swift is expected to attend the game, just like she did at last year’s Super Bowl. If the Chiefs win, they’ll become the first NFL team to claim three championships in a row.

Kendrick Lamar will serve as the halftime performer at the game, where he’ll be joined by SZA.

After the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 26, Kelce celebrated with his mother, Donna, and Swift on the field. In a video shared by the NFL, Swift marveled, “This is so insane,” as she urged Kelce to take in the scene at K.C.’s Arrowhead Stadium. “This is not a real-life situation.”

This marks the second year Kelce won’t be able to attend the Grammys with Swift. In January 2024, he explained on The Pat McAfee Show, “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for.” He added, “Unfortunately, I’ve got to get ready for this big ol’ Super Bowl we got in a week.”

Last year, just hours after wrapping up her final Eras tour show in Tokyo, Swift flew to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to support Kelce and the Chiefs at Super Bowl LVIII. Following the team’s victory, she and Kelce shared a kiss on the field, and she affectionately watched as he gave a speech to the fans.

Taylor Swift is back in Kansas City to support boyfriend Travis Kelce at the Chiefs’ first playoff game of the season.
On Saturday (Jan. 18), the 35-year-old pop icon was spotted arriving at Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC divisional round matchup between the Chiefs and the Houston Texans. Despite the chilly temperatures, Swift turned up the heat with a stylish checkered coat, paired with a black top, skirt and knee-high boots.

The “Anti-Hero” singer entered the stadium in a golf cart alongside her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, as well as other family and friends.

Kelce recently hinted on The Pat McAfee Show that Swift would be in attendance, adding to the growing speculation that her presence is a good-luck charm for the Chiefs. In the 20-something games Swift has attended, the team boasts a stellar 17-3 record.

Since beginning her relationship with Kelce in 2023, Swift has been a frequent visitor at Chiefs games, including the 2024 Super Bowl, which saw Kansas City take home the championship. Just before Christmas, she was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium in a chic, furry red coat.

On Friday (Jan. 17), Swift was seen dining with her parents at Nobu Downtown in New York City, wearing a sleek all-black ensemble.

Kelce recently spoke about his relationship with Swift on the Stephen A. Smith Show. When asked about it, the 35-year-old tight end said, “I’m enjoying all aspects of life, that’s for damn sure, man.” He added, “Me and Taylor are happy and I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for stadium.”

The NFL star, who has been playing for the NFL for about 12 years, also addressed his future with the Chiefs, revealing that Swift is fully supportive of his career.

“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” the New Heights podcaster said of the singer. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me.”

“So I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams,” he continued. “I think personally, that’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft.”

Travis Kelce may have accidentally dropped a Taylor Swift Easter egg. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday (Jan. 13), where he was asked about being around his Grammy-winning girlfriend while she’s finding musical inspiration. “Let’s just say you’re hanging and out and having a little dinner and […]

It’s been a big year for Taylor Swift, so it only makes sense that she would celebrate her 35th birthday with an appropriately-large party.
Swift turned 35 on Friday (Dec. 13), just days after wrapping up Era Tour, which has assumed the throne of the highest-grossing tour of all time, by artists of any genre, and from any era in music history. Already, however, she’s celebrated with a number of special events, including sharing a cache of behind-the-scenes videos, and taking out an additional ten Billboard Music Awards – bringing her total to a massive 49.

The celebrations haven’t ended there, though, with reports that Swift’s partner, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, gifted $175,000 worth of floral arrangements and jewellery for her birthday.

Now, her birthday week has continued with a party apparently inspired by the conclusion of Swift’s Eras tour. An Instagram post from Brittany Mahomes showed the former soccer player decked out in an outfit that pays homage to Swift’s Fearless album, while husband and Kelce’s Chiefs teamate Patrick Mahomes sporting a suit reminiscent of the “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” costume change.

Elsewhere, Lyndsay Bell (wife of the Chiefs’ Blake Bell) could be seen wearing an outfit apparently inspired by Swift’s Lover era, while close friend Ashley Avignone sported a snake around her neck in reference to Reputation.

Other photos from the event also show friendship bracelets on offer as well, heavily referring back to the same bracelets which have become synonymous with Swift thanks to the Era tour.

Swift’s birthday celebrations have also coincided with her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, topping the Billboard 200 for the 17th week this week (chart dated Dec. 21), bringing her career total of weeks spent at No. 1 to 86 – second only to The Beatles at 130 weeks.
