Fans of the late rapper Takeoff were stunned after seeing the MC come to life in an impressive wax figure.

During an interview with Cleveland’s Z107.9, Mr. Officials revealed the project took seven months to complete and the cost of the immaculate project, was upwards of $100,000. The sculptor said despite his urge to re-invest his money into his personal needs, he leaned into God’s voice.

Mr.Officials.LLC shared the heartfelt story behind the work of art and why it also signified “new beginnings.”

“I haven’t posted in a while and here’s why,” the narration of the Takeoff video begins. “I’m grieving and I’m mourning and I didn’t even know it. Some of you may or may not notice that I’m closing my business after three years. I’m losing my car, it’s on its last wheel. I’m driving a 14-year-old car and I soon won’t have that. I’ll be homeless if all goes well. Now before you begin to feel sorry for me, I’m okay. My gift will make room for me because it always has, and even with all my losses I still believe that this is my year.”
“I’ve heard God say over and over, ‘Finish what you started,’” the narration continued. “So I thought well maybe I could finish some sculptures. I could finish working on some projects that I started on, but it’s way too expensive and like I said, I need a new car. He kept saying to me, ‘This is not about you. Your gift is to inspire. Finish what you started.’ So, as I continued to finish working on projects, I began to grieve and mourn the individuals that I was working on. Crying while creating, this young man I’ve been working on is deceased, and yet I still feel a sense to pray for him.

The behind-the-scenes video concluded with the lesson Mr. Officials felt was behind it all, the push to keep going.
“Praying for his soul, praying for his family, friends, and band members. That’s when it hit me. This will be the year that I take off. God was using me in the life and legacy of the late rapper Takeoff to let me know that he has not forgotten about me. And what’s funny is this isn’t even my prayer. My prayer is not to have a new house, or a new car or a new business. My prayer is for this to be your year of Takeoff. Your job will go to another level. Your marriage will go to another level. Even your finances and health will increase. I believe that this will be the year to Takeoff,” the narration concluded.
This isn’t the first time Mr. Officials has gone viral, in 2022 he set the internet ablaze for creating a life-size wax figure for the late Nipsey Hussle that took him nine months to finish.
The wax figure comes over a year after the artist was tragically gunned down in downtown Houston. Takeoff, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, was tragically shot and killed during an altercation in Houston in 2022. He was 28 years old. Patrick Clark was arrested and charged with the shooting last year but was released from jail on a $1 million bond.

Family ties are hard to break. Offset says that reuniting with Quavo at the BET Awards cleared his soul.

As spotted on Deadline the remaining Migos members came together in honor of their fallen bandmate. The performance came to many as a shock as it had been previously reported that the two were not seeing eye to eye after Takeoff was killed in Houston, Texas on November 1, 2022. He recently did an Instagram Live where he discussed being on stage with Quavo since tragic incident. “I love all my fans. I love y’all. We did a BET performance, man. It was iconic, man,” he said. “It cleared my soul. Me and my brother, Quay, man, we put that together within, like, 16 hours, like, 15 hours… We do that ’cause we’re some real stars.”

He went on to further express his pride.  “We do this music. We the greatest group to ever touch the mic. RIP my brother, Take. We did it for my brother, Take. Me and Quay stood tall, brother to brother. And I appreciate everybody for supporting. It was a movie, it was a vibe. We needed that for the culture.” Offset also took the time to give his saviour above all the credit. “Thank God for that moment,” he added. “And like I said, RIP to Take. Y’all know how we coming about my brother. And we did it for Take. That’s our legacy. Migos forever. The greatest group to ever do it.”

Tasha K is still on Cardi B’s smoke list. Bardi made sure to check the blogger after mentioning Takeoff on social media.

As spotted on HipHopDX, the Bronx bombshell had time on Wednesday (June 21.) For some reason, the YouTube personality felt compelled to comment on Takeoff and lowkey tried to hint that the “Up” rapper was a bit too merry after his tragic passing. “Wasn’t she posting guns right after Takeoff died?? And on the internet, cutting up not long after his sudden takeoff? I’m just asking…Everyone grieve diff…” she wrote.

Naturally, the tweet landed on Cardi B’s radar and she quickly responded. “And Tasha K with your despicable a**.. to bring up Takeoff to prove a fake a** point is disgusting,” she began. “I lost weight, I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, me and my man STILL dealing wit that to to this day. I’m a rapper, we targeted all the time so of course I have guns for protection.”
She went on to also reminded Tasha that she needs to pay up. “But since you wanna be funny for comments, ima make sure your kid don’t go to college. You think my lawyers don’t know you hiding money in Africa? Ima make sure I get every red cent of my 4 mill. DONT EVER PUT TAKEOFF NAME IN YA MOUTH.”

Cardi B had even more time and took her talents to the Twitter Spaces platform talking very spicy. “[The Judge] said if you hide any money you’re gonna get in trouble by the court,” Bardi said. “B*tch you’re going to jail. You’re going to jail. You’re going to jail…And then motherf***ers wanna talk about that I was talking about her kids, no b*tch! I wasn’t talking about no motherf***ing kids. Y’all love to twist a b*tch f***ing words. Y’all do that for your own convenience…You ain’t even gonna be able to put your kids through college…f***ing around. Look at the sh*t you have caused yourself with your motherf*cking mouth.”

Seven months after the murder of beloved Migos member Takeoff in a parking lot in Houston, his alleged killer has been indicted for pulling the trigger that took the life of the Atlanta rapper.

According to TMZ, a Texas grand jury indicted Patrick Xavier Clark for the murder of Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Ball, Thursday (May 25) and slapped him with murder charges for the Nov. 1 shooting. While it took a minute for police to track down the shooter, eventually authorities arrested Clark for the murder in the first days of December.

Ultimately, Clark was sprung from jail in January when he posted his $1 million bond, but it’s looking like he might get reacquainted with the prison walls as a grand jury felt there was enough evidence to bring charges in the matter. Still, Clark’s lawyer remains confident his client will be exonerated when it’s all said and done.
TMZ reports:
Clark’s attorney, Carl Moore, tells us, “Today’s action by the grand jury is not unexpected. We would ask people to remember that getting an indictment requires meeting a very, very minimal standard of proof. When we get inside a courtroom and in front of a jury, where we will be able to put on our evidence and cross-examine the state’s witnesses— where the standard of proof is guilt beyond a reasonable doubt— we expect the jury will come back with a verdict of not guilty.”
We shall see.
For those who aren’t familiar with the matter, Offset was shot and killed outside of a bowling alley on Halloween night when his fellow Migos member and uncle, Quavo, got into a physical altercation with a group of men in the parking lot of the bowling alley. Though Takeoff wasn’t involved in the matter, he was ultimately shot and killed when one of the men pulled out a gun and pulled the trigger. Authorities allege that the man in question is Patrick Xavier Clark.
Now that he’s been charged and going to trial for the killing, his fate lies in the hands of a jury of his peers, and the evidence the state has been assembling since that fateful night.
Rest In Power, King.

Offset is calling cap. The Migos rapper is disputing a report from TMZ that he got into an altercation with Quavo at the Grammys.

Early Monday (Feb. 6), TMZ reported that Quavo and Offset had to be separated after getting into an argument backstage at the Grammys. According to the outlet, tempers flared because Quavo allegedly refused to have Offset join him on stage during the shows “In Memoriam” segment while he performed “Without You,” his tribute to their late group and family member Takeoff.

However, Offset took to Twitter to dispute the account. “What tf [sic] look like fighting my brother yal niggas is crazy,” tweeted Offset on Monday afternoon.

It’s no secret that Takeoff wasn’t on the best of terms with Quavo and Offset, who had recently dropped their joint project, at the time of the latter’s untimely demise. Relatedly, Offset had recently taken to social media to retort in kind to J. Prince after the Rap-a-Lot Records founder came for him during a recent podcast interview.
Considering Takeoff was murdered on Halloween night in 2022, let’s hope these brothers can actually have a conversation to squash any simmering beef before it boils over.
Rest in power Takeoff

J Prince has garnered a reputation that seems larger than life in some respects, prompting many to hold the Texas native’s name in both reverence and fear. The Rap-A-Lot and Mob Ties honcho was a recent guest on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast and took a swipe at Offset, prompting a reply along with civilian Twitter seemingly knowing the ins and outs of how gangsters move.
J Prince, J Prince Jr., and other members of the Prince family sat down with Gillie and Wallo to chop it up over a number of topics. Gillie rightly opened up the chat by offering condolences to Takeoff, who was shot and killed in J Prince’s native Houston during a dice game that went left.
Fans on Twitter noted that Gillie, typically viewed as an interviewer who asks tough questions, didn’t dig for details and clarity to the level his co-host and cousin Wallo demonstrated. However, the Prince family used the moment to defend themselves against allegations that they had something to do with the death of Takeoff and it appeared they named other individuals in a bid to clear their own involvement according to observers.
There was one point of serious contention as it relates to the Migos collective overall with J Prince saying that Offset was not as close to his blood cousin, Takeoff, in recent times. Mike Prince also got emotional when he spoke about the fateful evening of Takeoff’s death and decried the rumors that the Prince family was connected.
As it stands, J Prince and the Prince family find themselves trending on Twitter while Offset is fuming over the mishandling of the emotional nature of the passing, mentioning his cousin’s mother during his video.
On Twitter, folks are speaking from vantage points that are clearly not cut from the cloth and some folks are throwing flags on the play. Check out those reactions below along with the podcast episode in question.

The “I Like It” rapper is the latest guest on The Jason Lee Podcast this week, where she revealed that she and Offset were planning on going to a Halloween party on the night of Takeoff’s death, but stayed home after their four-year-old Kulture threw up on Cardi’s costume.

“We just fell asleep and out of nowhere, Offset’s phone kept ringing, my phone kept ringing,” she recalled. “Offset picked up the phone and he [was] just like, ‘Noooo,’ and he [was] screaming and screaming. I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’ and he’s like, ‘Takeoff is dead.’”

“I smacked him and I said, ‘Don’t say that. Like, don’t say that!’ And then he [was] just screaming and just throwing things, throwing up, running all over and I was so scared,” she continued. “I was just crying so much. It was terrible.”

Cardi added that despite the tragedy, she’s grateful for the time she spent with Migos, consisting of Takeoff, his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset. “I feel like I’m so happy that I experienced all those great moments when they were all together and everything,” she said. “It’s a great memory. Sometimes I cannot even listen to Culture because I get emotional. I love them forever.”

Takeoff was just 28 years old when he was fatally shot following a private party at a downtown Houston bowling alley. Takeoff’s primary cause of death was listed as “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm,” according to an autopsy.

It’s been two months since the tragic passing of beloved Migos member, Takeoff, and in that time a few of his peers have dropped some tribute songs. Now Migos brethren and actual uncle Quavo has released his own heartfelt and heart wrenching song “Without You” in honor of his younger nephew.

For the lyric video to the song, Quavo simply sits in a studio chair and puffs on some smoke as the song plays, and truth be told, it’s as effective as it is moving. Opening the song with straight from the heart bars, Quavo states what many of their fans knew he’d be feeling when he started it off with “Tears rollin’ down my eyes / Can’t tell you how many times I cried / Days ain’t the same without you / I don’t know if I’m the same without you…”

Going on to reminisce about the good times they spent together, Quavo uses his time to pay homage to his fallen family member while expressing his pain with lines like “I miss how how you smile at me
Unc & Phew until infinity.” We can’t even imagine how painful it must’ve been for Quavo to write and record this track.
As heartbreaking as it is moving, “Without You” will definitely be getting burn by Migos fans who still feel the pain of the loss of Takeoff.

The man alleged to have shot and killed Migos member Takeoff last November is now out of jail thanks to a hefty bond being posted.

According to reports, Patrick Xavier Clark was released from the Harris County jail on Wednesday (Jan. 4). His bond was set at $1 million. Clark is set to appear back in court March 9 to stand trial for the murder of Kirshnik Khari Ball, aka Takeoff, one-third of the Atlanta, Grammy Award-nominated group Migos.

The 33-year-old had initially received a bond of $2 million after his arrest by law enforcement Dec. 1. Clark’s lawyers, Letitia Quinones and Carl Moore argued that the bond amount was excessive and unconstitutional. Under the law in Texas, bond amounts are set to ensure that defendants make their date in court and not to confine them unnecessarily if they’re unable to financially post bail. Clark had also surrendered his passport, no longer making him a flight risk.
The conditions of Clark’s release according to court records stipulate that he remains on house arrest. He’s also mandated to wear a GPS monitor to track his movements and cannot have any contact with individuals involved with the shooting investigation. This includes veteran music executive J Prince and his family, along with the family of Takeoff. He is also barred from possessing deadly weapons.
Clark was arrested after Houston police determined he was the prime suspect due to surveillance footage from that night as well as other evidence including his fingerprints that were found on a bottle at the scene. The allegation against Clark is that he pulled out a gun and fired after an argument over a dice game that fellow Migos member (and Takeoff’s uncle) Quavo was involved in outside of a bowling alley. Takeoff was struck in the head and torso and died at the scene, with police deeming him an innocent bystander.

Waka Flocka Flame opens up about the shooting death of TakeOff as well as his thoughts on YSL in an interview with Shannon Sharpe.
The veteran rapper sat down as a guest on the latest episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast hosted by the former National Football League Hall of Famer and spoke about his career and success. The conversation soon turned to the allegations of Gunna accepting a plea deal to be released from jail in relation to the case of racketeering brought against Young Thug and his YSL crew.

“We see Gunna is gonna get released, he pled to racketeering, gang charges. People say he snitched,” Sharpe began. That led Waka to shrug his shoulders and respond, “I don’t know.” Sharpe said, “but you know the feds” to which the Flockaveli rapper said, “I know of ’em.” He continued to talk about Young Thug and Gunna: “God bless their situation, man. I hope they learn from it. I hope they’ll be bigger and better people for it.”
The talk soon pivoted at the 35-minute mark to Sharpe asking Waka Flocka Flame about the rise in rap-related murders within the past few years. He mentioned several artists before mentioning Takeoff, the beloved member of the Migos group who was shot and killed outside of a bowling alley in downtown Houston, Texas last November.
“I can’t tell you why, and I never want to speak on nobody’s death, but I could tell you this: when God blesses you, you have to change your ways, you have to evolve — you have to,” Flocka stated. “I could just say wrong place, wrong time for these guys.”
Sharpe swiftly responded, “So, in other words, once you ascend to a certain level, you gotta leave that alone,” referencing the argument over the dice game Quavo was involved in which led to the shooting that claimed Takeoff’s life. “Oh yeah, I don’t roll dice,” Waka stated. “With all respect, why would I roll dice with somebody that ain’t in my tax bracket? It’s liable that some shit could happen.”
