Much like Fergie‘s unforgettable performance at the 2018 NBA All-Star game, Ingrid Andress‘ rendition of the national anthem at the Home Run Derby Monday (July 15) is going viral for all the wrong reasons. In case you missed it, Cam’ron and Mase went viral once again for a sports take.
During an episode of their sports talk show It Is What It Is, the subject of boxer Shakur Stevenson’s latest fight came up and the rapper turned pastor to turned sports commentator called Stevenson’s style of boxing boring. Shakur didn’t take to kindly to the Harlem rapper’s opinion, and initiated a back and forth between the two camps on social media (which we covered here.)
Now it seems J. Prince has gotten in the mix.

Prince — who has been managing the Newark boxer since 2016 — sent the Harlem duo the message below on Instagram yesterday:
Trending on Billboard
“Let the haters say that he’s boring and nobody wants to watch him. Sorry to tell you it’s just a select few of you haters. As you can see there’s proof that he has the number one ratings in any fight on ESPN this year and the top three ratings since 2022. And to all of you haters who want to escalate that hate outside of the ring I’m Shakur’s manager and I handle all his business outside of the ring. In other words Cam and Mase I will fade all his shots and take all bets.”
Naturally, Cam and Mase responded this morning on the latest episode of It Is What It Is.
“When you dealing with older people, they’re the last to know that things have changed,” Mase said. “We not your lil’ n—s. All that big homie stuff, that’s for little n—s. We’re not little n—s so we don’t even respect big homies. I know Killa doesn’t. And for me? I never respected n—s in the streets, that’s why I always got the problems I got.”
He then added, “If you 60 years old and you tryna be a street n—a, you failed. My name is Mase. I stand by this message.”
The former Bad Boy artist also revealed that he recently spoke to the Texas mogul via FaceTime call with Ye and the convo was a positive one. “So I don’t even know why he would come at me with that energy. I felt really disrespected. It’s certain people you supposed to come at like that and I’m not one of them.”
Cam agreed with his co-host and added his two cents, saying, “Why do you think that you can tell us what we can and cannot say. Control your n—a! Ain’t nobody gon’ tell a n—a, ‘Get the strap’ and then we gon’ sit there and be like, ‘I think we should shut up.’” Adding, “Nah, n—a. This is not 1982, bro. You buggin’, James. I don’t know what bet you talking about and all that other slang. Whatever bet you talking about, bet it.”

It was just a minor victory over Canada for Team USA in Wednesday night’s (July 10) basketball exhibition in Las Vegas, but the U.S. Olympic team celebrated in style with Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” booming through the T-Mobile Arena speakers.
Following the 86-72 win in Sin City, footage showed “Not Like Us” playing while LeBron James gave a speech to the team at mid-court.
They fittingly broke the huddle and waved to the crowd while thanking them for coming out. The public address announcer then interrupted the Drake diss track to ask the audience to give the team a final ovation before heading home.
“Drake and the entire nation of Canada took an L tonight,” a fan wrote on X.

Another deemed that “Not Like Us” will continue to be an anti-Canada troll for a long time. “This song will get played any time Canada loses in anything for the foreseeable future,” they said.
The victory over Canada marks the first of five total exhibition games coming up for Team USA before heading to Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, where they’ll tip-off the group phase on July 28 against Nikola Jokic and Serbia.
After facing an 11-1 deficit to start the game, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards and the bench lineup gained control, and Team USA ended up cruising to a double-digit win in the second half.
Edwards finished with a team-high 13 points, while Steph Curry added 12 of his own. Lakers big man Anthony Davis stuffed the stat sheet with a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds) and four blocks.
It was a good opening statement for the Americans with Kevin Durant not playing and Kawhi Leonard leaving the team, both due to injuries. (Leonard will be replaced by Boston Celtics guard Derrick White.)

USA Basketball isn’t the only team trolling Drake recently. The X account for Argentina’s soccer team jabbed at the 6 God following the team’s 2-0 Copa America semifinal win over Canada July 9 at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
“Not like us, not with us,” the team tweeted. The accompanying photo featured Argentina’s players huddled up, with “Not Like Us” written across the top of the image. It was more salt in the wound for Drake after he also bet $300,000 on Canada to pull off the upset against the heavily favored Argentinians.
The Killers took over The O2 in London on Wednesday night (July 10), and the rock group got to treat their English fans to a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Taylor Swift may be partial to football at the moment, but she’s still making time to meet with the greats of other sports too. Following her first of two Eras Tour shows in Zürich Tuesday (July 9), the pop star spoke with Roger Federer backstage, after which the tennis champion posted a selfie of their encounter and declared his love for the musician.
In the snap — which appears to have been taken by Swift herself — Federer wears a VIP badge around his neck while beaming at the camera. The “Anti-Hero” singer also smiles into the lens, still sporting the final Midnights leotard she wears at the very end of her show.
“In my Swiftie era 🦋🫶💜🧣🌃🐍💘🪩🌲🕰️🤍,” the former Olympian captioned the post.
Trending on Billboard
Based on his use of emojis, Federer isn’t kidding around when he labels himself a “Swiftie.” Each one appears to specifically represent one of the 14-time Grammy winner’s 11 albums — a blue butterfly for her self-titled debut, a hand-heart for Fearless, a purple heart for Speak Now, a scarf for Red, a cityscape for 1989, a snake for Reputation, a pierced heart for Lover, a mirrorball for Folklore, a tree for Evermore, a clock for Midnights and white heart for The Tortured Poets Department.
Hours after Federer posted their selfie, Swift finished up her two-night stay at Switzerland’s Letzigrund Stadium with a final performance Wednesday (July 10). She’s headed next for Milan, where she’ll play two shows at San Siro.
And though everything turned out for the best in the end, Travis Kelce might find his superstar girlfriend’s meeting with Federer a little ironic. Back before the Kansas City Chiefs tight end started dating Swift, he too was a pro athlete hoping to be introduced to her backstage at an Eras Tour show — but in his case, the “Karma” artist declined.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Kelce complained on an episode of his New Heights podcast last year, a couple months before he and Swift ended up dating. “I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her … She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”
