If we’ve learned anything about Jay-Z over the years it’s that he isn’t one to play about his family whether it be immediate or business related. So when Stephen A. Smith threw a tad bit of shade at Rihanna’s Super Bowl Performance, Hova had a little something to say.

Recently, during a sit-down interview on the Connect The Dots podcast, the sports journalist icon revealed that when he implied that Rihanna’s 2023 Super Bowl Halftime performance couldn’t measure up to that of Beyoncé’s in 2016, not only did some celebrities take issue with his comments, but Jay himself chimed in when the two spoke on the phone.

Saying “people who will remain nameless” and “Hollywood stars,” Smith said people were so mad at him that they never spoke to him again. And it had him wondering what was so taboo about his opinion. Ultimately, things came to a head when Stephen A. spoke to the GOAT himself, Jay-Z.
Recalling a conversation the two had some time later, Smith said, “Months later, Hov and I were on the phone. Hov was like – simple and plain, ‘My dawg, you family, that’s family. That’s too close to say that.’ I said, ‘I didn’t know.’ He said, ‘I know.’ Done! In other words, it’s a business, it’s a part of it, you don’t know how she’ll receive it, etc. etc. etc. That’s all he had to say. I appreciated that.”
We don’t know much, but what we do know is that you do not want Jay-Z in your ear telling you how you F’d up. Either personally or in a business sense. Good thing he didn’t say the opposite and imply that Rihanna was superior to Beyoncé. Things could’ve gotten hella ugly. Just sayin’.
Check out Stephen A. Smith tell his side of the story below, and let us know your thoughts on the situation in the comments section.

Sometimes there’s nothing better than when a man and his woman work together on a professional project of some sort and it seems like A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have gone that route as they’ve just released a short film for Riri’s Fenty Lux Balm line.

Dubbed Born to Steal: Yours, Mine, Ours, the black-and-white clip features the two lovebirds in a swanky atmosphere in which Rihanna goes through A$AP’s wardrobe looking for some spiffy duds to “steal.” Stepping out the house in A$AP’s stolen blazer to flashing lights we assume are from the paparazzi, Rocky looks on from the second floor window as he throws on some lip balm that’s surely from his “Blazer Bandit” baby mama’s Fenty Lux line.

We can’t even front, this was cute, heartwarming and seductive all at the same time. Props to these two for collaborating on this little intimate promotional clip. While we love it y’all know Drake somewhere salty as hell about it. Maybe Rihanna should send Drizzy some of her lip balm cause y’all know too much salt will make your lips dry as hell. Just sayin.’

A$AP Rocky continues to rep for Rihanna in grand fashion. He is the face of Fenty Skin’s newest lip balm.

Hypebeast is reporting that the Harlem, New York MC has lent his talents to RiRi’s beauty label. On Thursday, January 4 the brand debuted a 20 second clip featuring the Fashion Killa announcing the launch of their Lux Balm Ultra Lip Balm. As expected he is wearing a variety of outfits as he drops some quick bars about the moisturizing treatment. “Flossy, glossy, Nah, bi***, this ain’t lip gloss / Lux Balm up in my palm / New collab’ with my baby mom” he raps as he shows off the product and his photo ready smile. The track is produced by none other than Pharrell Williams.

According to the Fenty Skin website the Lux Balm is “brings dry, chapped lips back to life with instant hydration. Sleek and discreet, it’s mess-free and slips effortlessly into any pocket.” It is flavored with Barbados Cherry, a nod to Rihanna’s hometown, and includes vitamin E, and shea butter. The Lux Balm Ultra Lip Balm is available now and is priced at $16.00. It is available on Fenty Skin, and Sephora.
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have two children together, RZA and Riot Rose. You can view the Fenty Skin launch campaign for the Lux Balm Ultra Lip Balm below.

If there is one celebrity couple we should all be rooting for, it’s Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. Earlier this year, the “Umbrella” singer and the “Am I Dreaming” rapper welcomed their second child, Riot Rose, into the world and now, Rihanna is gushing over the father of her children and opening up about how parenting has strengthened and deepened their relationship.
“I love him differently as a dad,” Rihana declared during an interview with Page Six. “This is major, major…it’s a turn-on. It’s just like, wow. What a leader, what a great, patient, loving…and my kids are obsessed with him.”

For what it’s worth, A$AP also appears to be fully immersed in his new role as a father of two. In November, was asked by Complex if he would ever consider collaborating with Rihanna on a project at Puma, the fashion company where they both work as the creative directors of their respective clothing lines.
It appeared that the only artistic collaboration the “Praise the Lord” rapper was interested in discussing was the collaborative art of creating life with the love of his life.

“What could we team up and just like f—ing smash and go crazy on?” Rocky pondered. “I think we do a real great job at collaborating and making children.”
“I think that’s our best creation so far,” he said of his sons. “Nothing’s better than that.”
Rihanna and A$AP are superstars with iconic careers, but right now it appears they’re just two new parents in love and involved in their roles as caregivers of their children. And at a time when we hear more about the drama in the lives of celebrity couples than we do about love and light, their apparent happiness is a breath of fresh air.

Black love in a Black family—it’s a beautiful thing.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are busy with two young boys and the X streets are ablaze with rumors that the couple is expecting a third child. However, it appears to be largely speculative at the moment as neither Rihanna nor A$AP Rocky has made a public statement regarding the rumor.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, a user by the name of @TweetByThapz shared an older image of Rihanna with the caption reading that the singer, “confirmed that she & Asap Rocky are expecting their 3rd Baby.”
The X platform immediately flagged the message as speculative nothing that the news has not been confirmed, while also noting that the image in the reply was from May of this year.
This hasn’t stopped fans on X from reacting to the news as expected with many making jokes about the prolific baby-making skills of A$AP Rocky considering that the couple’s sons are just a year and change apart. As it often happens on X, the jokes are really over the top and even clever at some intervals.
We’ll certainly keep our eyes and ears open to any developments to this highly speculative story but until Pretty Flacko and Bad Girl actually say something, we’re chalking this up as an attempt to seemingly drum up engagement farming.

Check out the reactions below.

After countless months of teasing his fans, Drake has finally released his highly anticipated album, For All The Dogs, and, of course, the reactions are all over the place.
Fans were wide awake at 6 a.m. and ready to hear lyrics that will end up being Instagram captions when the Canadian Hip-Hop star dropped his new album, For All The Dogs.
The album arrives three months after it was first revealed, featuring artwork by his no-longer secret son, Adonis. as the cover art.
The 23-song album, which is ridiculously long, serves as a follow-up to his other 2022 projects, Honestly, Nevermind, and Her Loss, and there are many features.
Drizzy gets assistance from big names like Bad Bunny and SZA, whom he revealed he dated at one point and is featured on the album’s lead single “Slime You Out” and “Rich Baby Daddy,” which also features Trump lover and victim of a sex tape leak Sexyy Red.
Other notable features include Drizzy’s homie, Lil Yachty, his recent tour mate 21 Savage, Teezo Touchdown, Yeat, and PartyNextDoor.
One standout feature comes from J. Cole, who used his appearance in the song ‘First Person Shooter,” where he addresses his beef with NBA Youngboy.

Did Drake Take A Shot At Pusha-T & Rihanna?
What many fans expected would happen on this album would be Drake taking a shot at his nemesis, Pusha T.
Everyone assumed that would be the case on the album’s first song, “Virginia Beach,” which samples Frank Ocean’s “Wiseman.”
Still, to the disappointment of everyone, it’s just a typical Drake song.

But, in what could be a reach or a clever observation, one X user noticed that in a skit on the 21 Savage assisted track “Calling For You,” a woman complains about not being in first class.
Hilariously, Pusha T hit United Air on X (formerly known as Twitter) on October 3 about the airline not having a first-class option despite letting an agent book a first-class ticket.

Is this a coincidence? Who knows, but if Drake did that in such a short turnaround, it’s pretty damn hilarious.
Another eyebrow-raising moment has the Navy reacting, thinking Drake could have possibly taken a shot at Rihanna on the song “Fear of Heights” on his latest album.

If true, we know Rihanna will have that smoke for Drizzla.
For All The Dogs Production
On the production, the side For All The Dogs boasts help from Bnyx, Boi-1da, Cash Cobain, Justin Raisen, Sadpony, and Southside.
OVO regulars Noah “40” Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib, Noel Cadastre, and Drake serve as executive producers. NBA superstar Kevin Durant serves as A&R on the project.
Of course, like with any significant Drake release, the reactions and crazy are up and down X timelines, with some folks calling the album mid.
Uh oh.
You can see those in the gallery below.

When Rihanna and A$AP Rocky step out they do it in style. The two were spotted out to celebrate his birthday.

Bossip is reporting that the celebrities were outside this week. On Tuesday, October 4 the duo publicly hit the streets of Manhattan for a very special occasion. The “Good For You” MC turned 35 and they went to celebrate the day by eating out at Carbone. Getting a table at the popular Italian hotspot can be very difficult but the two were given the VIP treatment as soon as they walked in.

As expected the power couple did not disappoint when it came to their clothing selections. A$AP Rocky wore a white button-up shirt under a grey crewneck sweater. Layered on top was a tartan suit jacket that was paired with some light jeans and black chunky boots. Pretty Flacko also has held on to the pearl hair clips he originally debuted at Rolling Loud in July. RiRi was fashion forward as ever with an all black ensemble featuring a cropped leather bomber jacket, a tulle top and shiny pantaboots. She completed the fit with black Gucci sunglasses and what seems to be a diamond necklace.
The Hollywood Fix reports that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were at the restaurant for roughly two hours. You can see them exiting to their car below.

Weeks ago it was revealed that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had named their newborn baby boy, Riot Rose Mayers (helluva dope name) and while it was rumored that the couple were upset that the name was leaked, it seems like they’re now ready for the world to share in their new bundle of joy.

E News! is reporting that the happy family has just put together a family photoshoot to introduce baby Riot to the world alongside his bigger brother, RZA and of course, mommy and daddy. Sharing a closer look at how their family unit shines together under the same spotlight now, Rocky, Rhianna, RZA and Riot delivered a family photoshoot that most couples wish they had the swagger to pull off.
E News! reports:

In the series of adorable photos, the family of four are seen posing together, as both Rihanna and A$AP take turns cradling their sons. For the shoot, Rihanna pulled her loose curls into an updo, and wore a denim jacket and navy ensemble. Meanwhile, the “Fashion Killa” rapper—born Rakim Mayers—sported a green plaid shirt and a white tank top paired with jeans.
We don’t even know RZA or Riot personally and we’re already ready to ride with them. That’s how adorable these kids are.
Check out pics of the happy family below and let us know your thoughts on this family unit and how everyone’s names start with the letter “R” in the comments section below.

Looks like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky gave their second son a name as unique as they did their first. Baby RZA is going to have some competition as to who has the more original name in the family.

According to The Blast, the Harlem rapper and bombshell from Barbados have decided to name their secondborn son Riot Rose Mayers and truth be told, we’re loving that ish. Possibly named after A$AP’s Pharrell-assisted track, “Riot,” the child was born on August 1, 2023 and though the couple tried to keep the name under wraps, The Blast was able to obtain the birth certificate which bares the name of one Riot Rose Mayers.

Rihanna’s doctor is listed as Thais Alibady on the birth certificate. How they managed to get such medical records displays another level of celebrity thirst, respectfully. Now fans are surely anticipating the photo reveal of Rih Rih and Rocky’s latest bundle of joy.
With a name like Riot the world is this kid’s oyster. He can be anything from a musician (Sound Riot) to a comedian (Laugh Riot) to a revolutionary (Street Riot) should the times call for it.
Though the couple has yet to confirm that the birth certificate is authentic and Riot is indeed the child’s name, given their history with baby names it seems like it’s a safe bet that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have a small Riot residing in their home.
What do y’all think of the name Riot Rose Mayers? Dope or over the top? Sound off in the comments section below.

Rihanna gave birth to a new baby boy. It’s the Bajan singer’s second child, and second son, with Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky.

Apparently, it’s news to the rest of the world since TMZ reports that Rihanna actually gave birth earlier this month.

According to “sources,” the new bundle of joy arrived on August 3rd while Rihanna was in Los Angeles. No word on the child’s name beyond that it starts with an R. His big bro’s name is RZA Athelston Mayers (he was born May 13, 2022) while dad’s born name is Rakim, so let the guessing games begin as far as whether or not it’s a legendary rapper’s namesake. Russell in honor of the Ol’ Dirty Bastard, maybe? Or just plain Rakim Junior?

We’ll have to wait and see. So far, no confirmation in the proud parent’s socials.
Congrats to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.
This story is developing.
