Everybody loves an underdog. Snoop Dogg pays homage to his hometown of Long Beach, Calif., in the sports comedy The Underdoggs, premiering Friday (Jan. 26) on Prime Video.

Snoop stars as Jaycen “Two Js” Jennings, a former NFL player who gets sentenced to community service after a car accident. To stay out of jail, Jennings agrees to coach a youth football team in his hometown.

The Underdoggs was filmed at Snoop’s former high school, Long Beach Poly High, in his hometown of Long Beach, Calif.

“Poly High School, the Funkhouse, this is the most prolific high school in Southern California as far as I’m concerned when you think about the greats that have come through that campus,” Snoop said in an interview with the Press-Telegram, his hometown newspaper.

The rapper went on to name some of the many famous faces (besides himself) that attended Poly over the years, including John Wayne, Billie Jean King, Cameron Diaz, Carl Weathers, Tony Gwynn and Willie McGinest.

Snoop produced The Underdoggs alongside Kenya Barris, Mychelle Deschamps and Jonathan Glickman. Charles Stone III directed the movie written by Danny Segal and Isaac Schamis.

This Barbie is dropping a coffee table book. Barbie star Margot Robbie and her stylist Andrew Mukamal teamed with fashion photographer Craig McDean to release Barbie: The World Tour, a coffee table book of Barbie-inspired looks from the movie’s press run including never-before-seen photos.

The Barbie movie press run was cut short due to the writer’s and actor’s strikes last year, so Robbie and Mukamal came up with the idea to photograph the looks “exactly as they were meant to be curated,” per the book’s description.

“This book was an idea I had in my living room when I started dreaming about Margot’s wardrobe for the Barbie press tour in March 2023. I could have never imagined just a few months later we’d be in the studio shooting this project with the team of our dreams,” Mukamal wrote on Instagram on Monday (Jan. 22). The post goes on to thank Robbie for taking him on “this wild ride” and trusting his vision.

“None of this would have been possible without your unwavering faith and confidence in me and my vision for what I knew would be a project that would change my life,” he wrote. “This book is a labor of love, dedicated to all the Barbie lovers and fashion fans around the world. Hope you enjoy.”

In the book, fans will get to see the strapless, trumpet-style Schiaparelli dress that Robbie wore to the Los Angeles Barbie movie premiere. The vintage look was inspired by Solo Spotlight Barbie.

Robbie’s pale pink Vivienne Westwood gown (inspired by Enchanted Evening Barbie) from the London premiere will also be featured in the book along her vintage Chanel jacket that she wore to the airport with matching, pink Streamline luggage and other must-see photos.

The highly anticipated Barbie movie (stream for for free on Max) became the top grossing film of 2023 raking in $1.44 billion at the box office. The Oscar-nominated comedy follows Barbie (Robbie) and Ken (Ryan Gosling) on a life-changing journey into the real world.

Robbie and Mukamal poured over some of Barbie’s “most iconic outfits” to recreate looks for the press tour including vintage pieces and custom creations from the likes of Giorgio Armani, Donatella Versace and other fashion designers.

Barbie: The World Tour will be released on March 19, but it’s not the only Barbie book coming soon. Barbie: Her Inspiration, History and Legacy, out April 9, is described as a “stunning tribute to the beloved pop culture icon.”

MaryRuth’s Liquid Morning Multivitamin is packed with vitamins, minerals and other nutrients to improve health, increase immunity, boost energy and more.

According to the product description, the liquid multivitamin is filled with vitamins that “support your body’s needs,” such as Vitamin B6, Biotin (B7), B9, Vitamin B5 and Vitamin B12, and Vitamin C and Zinc to support immunity.

Does MaryRuth’s really work? I started taking MaryRuth’s last year after it was recommended to me by a family member.

Like many of the TikTok videos and Amazon reviews, I felt an instant boost of energy within seconds of taking MaryRuth’s and have recommended it to several friends and family (I also went 11 months without catching a cold, which could have something to do with my multivitamin routine).

The peach multivitamin is a personal favorite, but MaryRuth’s is available in other delicious flavors, including raspberry and peach mango. And it’s great if you don’t like taking vitamins in pill form.

You can find MaryRuth’s multivitamins at major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart and Target. The vitamins and supplements are made for adults and kids ages 2+.

The limited sale includes MaryRuth’s bestselling Liquid Morning Multivitamin ($33.62) and Multivitamin Multimineral Supplement for Women + Hair Growth Vitamins, which is 20% off during the sale.

MaryRuth’s doesn’t go on sale very often, so there’s no telling when the price will drop again (the last time we spotted a discount this deep was during Prime Day 2023).

From boozy brunches to happy hour, clubbing, concerts and sporting events, alcohol has become a major part of socializing, and although alcohol use spiked during the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, young adults are drinking less and older adults are drinking more than in previous decades.

According to a Gallup report from last summer, drinking among adults older than age 55 increased 10 percent in the last decade, while 62 percent of adults under age 35 admit to drinking, down 10 percent from a decade ago.

If you’ve been wanting to take a break from alcohol, Dry January is a great time to get started.

Even celebrities are getting onboard with drinking less. Adele quit drinking for three months last year, the “I Drink Wine” singer revealed to a crowd during her Las Vegas residency in October 2023.

Country star Dierks Bentley revealed that he stopped drinking for two years. “A big part of it was just trying to see if I could,” the “Drunk on a Plane” singer shared with People magazine last November. “I’d been dabbling in taking breaks, but I liked the idea of being able to say you’ve done a year of sobriety. Not 30 days, not 90 days, a frigging year. That’s hard.”

R&B singer Ari Lennox closed out 2023 by celebrating one year of sobriety. In a since-deleted Instagram post, the “Pressure” singer said that alcohol helped her cope with a fear of flying. “I decided December 18th, 2022, would be the day I got clean. You know what I realized after [one] year of many sober flights? I never needed alcohol to get through the flight.” Lennox went on to share that her “toxic relationship with alcohol” left her “stagnant with closed eyes, hindering my growth and my healing.”

Katy Perry, who launched a line of non-alcoholic aperitifs called Des Soi in 2022, embarked on a three-month sobriety pact with fiancé Orlando Bloom last year. “We did this because he’s shooting a movie in London right now that’s taking every ounce of his focus, and so I wanted that opportunity to be supportive,” Perry said last June. “It’s really hard to do anything — whether that’s doing a cleanse or a reset — unless your partner’s doing it. So, doing it together makes it so much easier.”

Like Perry, Zayn Malik has also entered the world of non-alcoholic drinks. The pop star became co-owner of the mocktail brand Mixoloshe last year.

Regardless of whether you’re taking a break from alcohol or quitting altogether, it doesn’t hurt to get a little help sticking to your goal. Apps such as Try Dry, Sober January: Dry Day Tracker, Sober Time, and SoberBuddy can help you stay on track during your sober journey.

As for your drink routine, there’s plenty of non-alcoholic beer, wine and champagne to choose from, along with non-alcoholic whiskey, vodka and tequila — and if you’re in the mood for a non-alcoholic nightcap, the “sleepy girl mocktail” is viral on TikTok.

To help you get started, we’ve rounded up a list of six, bestselling non-alcoholic drinks — including zero proof beer and tasty mocktails — to help you get through Dry January and beyond.

Not your average shades! Maluma is seeing things differently thanks to Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.

The “Según Quién” singer, who stars in the campaign for the latest iteration of Meta‘s smart glasses, likes wearing them because they allow him to share his “unique point of view” with fans.

“They’re super simple to use and feel like the average pair of sunglasses, except now I am more present,” the 29-year-old singer explained in an email interview with Billboard before heading back home to Colombia for the holidays.
