Also available at Lego and Kohl’s, the Lego Icons Atari 2600 features a hidden ’80s gaming scene inside — with classic TV, boom box, posters on the wall, retro phone and roller skates with a Lego mini-figure playing an even smaller version of the old school Atari console — when completed.

Meanwhile, the Lego set includes Atari’s iconic joystick controller, three buildable cartridges for classic games — such as Asteroids, Adventure and Centipede — and a mini-shelf for game storage. The cartridges can even be re-built into scenes from the games themselves.

The Lego Icons Atari 2600 is on sale for $191.99 (regularly $239.99) at Walmart and Lego. It’s on sale even cheaper for $167.99, a 30% savings, at Kohl’s, but it’s currently out of stock. However, the Lego set is also available for $180 at StockX.

Inventory and availability may vary at Kohl’s and StockX, so we recommend going with Walmart or Lego.com instead. This is to guarantee the Lego set is in stock and to receive free shipping.

Pharrell Williams’ life will be coming to the big screen in the most Pharrell way possible. A LEGO movie has been made of his life.

Hype Beast is reporting that the Virginia Beach, Va. creative has struck a deal with the game and media conglomerate. On Friday, Jan. 26, Skateboard P announced the news via his social media channels stating, “Who would’ve thought that playing with LEGO bricks as a kid would evolve into a movie about my life. It’s proof that you can do it too…”.

Titled Piece By Piece the movie is expected to defy “genres and expectations to transport audiences into a LEGO® world where anything is possible.”

This film will be directed by Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor?). The Grammy Award winner detailed how the project came to be in a formal statement. “Five years ago, Pharrell Williams approached me with the idea of helping him tell his story through LEGO animation,” he said. “It was one of those rare moments where I knew in a second that this was a journey I wanted to go on.”
Piece By Piece is slated for an Oct. 11, 2024 release date. It is unclear if the piece will truly be a biopic-style offering or will just be inspired by Pharrell Williams’ life.

The world of Fortnite and how players can enjoy it continues to grow. Starting today, loyal fans of the game can now boot up LEGO Fortnite, the latest addition to Epic Games’ ridiculously popular video game.
Thursday, December 7, Epic Games launched LEGO Fortnite, a new survival crating game it developed in partnership with the LEGO Group.
Some are describing it as Fortnite and LEGO’s version of Minecraft, another popular title owned by Microsoft. Instead of downloading a separate game, you can access it by selecting it on the Fortnite menu, just like when you choose the battle royale mode.
Epic says the procedural map players can explore is 19x more significant than the battle royale map, and you can either play in a creative mode where you can build whatever you want or a survival mode where skeletons, wolves, and other enemies will generate.

Players will also have to monitor not only their character’s health but also their hunger and extreme heat warnings.

Fortnite is also famous for the skins it introduces into the game, and that continues to be the case in the new mode. Speaking with The Verge, Saxs Persson, Epic’s executive VP, says more than 1,200 Fortnite skins have a LEGO variant players can use.

LEGO Fortnite Isn’t The Only New Mode Coming To Fortnite
LEGO Fortnite is also the first of many in-game experiences coming to Fortnite. Beginning tomorrow, December 8, players can look forward to Rocket Racing (from the creators of Rocket League) and Fortnite Festival on Saturday, December 9 (from the studio behind Rock Band and Guitar Hero).
The latter will allow players to play rhythm-based games similar to Rock Band and Guitar Hero alone or with friends, as well as songs from artists like Eminem, who just recently got his own skin in the game and was a part of the Big Bang event.
Fortnite sounds like it’s the ultimate place to be.

Lego Ideas ‘Home Alone’ McCallisters’ House

There are over 3,900 pieces included in the Lego set, which means the box will most likely be too big to be a stocking stuffer. Once fully built, you’ll be able to get an inside look at the home, the treehouse as well as the van of crooks Harry and Marv. Each level of the house is detachable and you’ll be able to recreate scenes from the movie or customize your own. Five mini figurines are included as well such as Kevin McCallister, Kate McCallister, Harry, Marv and ‘Old Man’ Marley.Special details inspired by the films were added for a nostalgic touch like swinging paint cans, a basement furnace that lights up and a lever to push Kevin down the stairs on his sled.

Fans can tap into their inner LEGO builder, recreate scenes from the “Dynamite” music video and more with brick versions of the disco, record store, donut store, ice cream truck and other pieces from the visual. The set includes danceable minifigures of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook carrying tiny microphones.

LEGO Ideas BTS Dynamite Set $99.99 (available March 1, 2023)

Designed for ages 18 and older, the play-and-display collectible set features 749 pieces including buildable palm trees, a main building that stands 5.5-inches tall and the basketball hoop in front of the wall with a mural like the one from the music video.

A step-by-step booklet comes included in the package along with instructions, details on BTS’ rise to global superstardom and interviews with LEGO designers.

The LEGO Ideas BTS Dynamite set (21139) was originally submitted by fans Josh and Jacob in 2021. “Josh did the building and design work and, as a massive BTS fan, I told him what needed to be in it, what details were most important. It was a really fun process,” Jacob told LEGO.

“Jacob had the BTS knowledge, and he was able to direct my build in the proper way. I watched the music video over and over and tried to capture its essence in the LEGO bricks,” added Josh. “It was insane when the project went viral online overnight.”

“When we saw Josh and Jacob’s colorful design we knew it would be a hit and this was proved by how quickly they reached 10,000 views in the LEGO Ideas voting,” said Federico Begher, Head of LEGO Product Group. “The BTS fans have already got behind the design and so it was important that we were as faithful to the original creation as possible. The set highlights creativity, passion and most importantly, fun! We can’t wait to see the fans building and displaying it.”

The BTS Dynamite set will be available on at LEGO stores and LEGO.com/shop on March 1. In the meantime, click here to shop our list of gift ideas for the BTS ARMY.
