The wait is over, Invincible season 2 is now streaming on Prime Video. The animated series, about a teenage superhero was expected to drop on Friday (Nov. 3) but it arrived slightly ahead of schedule late Thursday.
Invincible is based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley. The series, which centers around an 18-year-old superhero named Mark Grayson, premiered in 2021.
The second season finds Mark “reeling from Nolan’s betrayal” and struggling to rebuild his life “as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it,” according to Amazon Studios. Radiohead’s “Karma Police” soundtracks the season premiere.
The Invincible cast includes Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen, and J.K. Simmons.

The film takes inspiration from a 1999 article from The New Yorker that spotlighted the case of a Southern small business up against a huge Canadian conglomerate. Foxx plays the charismatic lawyer Willie E. Gary who has never lost a case and is hired by Jeremiah Joseph O’Keefe (played by Jones). The film loosely unfolds the events of the trial as Jones’ character fights to save his small family business from corporate greed.
Other cast members you can expect to see include Jurnee Smollett, Mamoudou Athie, Bill Camp, Alan Ruck and Pamela Reed. The film was directed by Maggie Betts and written by Betts and Doug Wright.

Prime Video has a new show for you to binge — and it’s killer. Wilderness is the latest series to drop on the streaming platform with episodes 1-6 available to binge starting Friday (Sept. 15). It’s based on the novel by the same title, which is available in paperback, Kindle Unlimited and Audible editions — in case you want to read the book before tuning into the series.

The series stars Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) and Oliver Jackson-Cohen (The Haunting of Hill House) as the seemingly perfect British couple Liv and Will. When Liv learns of her husband’s affair, her devastation quickly turns into rage, but when Will proposes a trip around America’s National Parks to mend their relationship, she has the idea to plot some murderous revenge. Because when in the wilderness accidents happen, right?
Other cast members you can look forward to seeing include Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars) as Cara, Eric Balfour as Garth and Marsha Stephanie Blake as Detective Rawlins.
