‘Tis the season to listen to Michael Bublé‘s Christmas album, and also for the crooner to get his fourth child’s name added to the tattoo on his wrist.

The “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer took to Instagram this weekend to share a video of his “tattoo journey” at Tabua Tattoo Company in Burnaby, British Columbia. “No I’m just going to do the name of my girl,” Bublé hesitantly tells the tattoo artist, who jokingly insisted that he opt for ink of the “Monkey King, the demon.”

The scene then cuts to Bublé getting his four-month-old daughter Cielo’s name tattooed, visibly struggling with the pain. “What if we just call her C? Let me just call my wife and see if she thinks C is a good name,” the singer joked, trying to cut his session short.

Bublé and wife Luisana Lopilato, who have been married since 2011, are also parents to sons Noah, 8, and Elias, 6, as well as four-year-old daughter Vida. When Bublé showed off his new ink’s final product, his three older kids names are also visible in bold script across his wrist.

The singer and his wife Luisana Lopilato revealed in August that they’ve welcomed their fourth bundle of joy. “From love comes life, light and her… our baby Cielo Yoli Rose Bublé,” they wrote on Instagram in English and in Spanish, as Lopilato is Argentinian and a native Spanish speaker. “You finally arrived to our lives with your 3,8 kg!!! Thanks God for this infinite blessing, we love you!!”

A Taylor Swift-signed guitar could be all yours while supporting a good cause.

Raven Drum Foundation’s second annual 12 Drummers Drumming auction is running through December 12, bringing together a list of music’s most influential artists to raise vital funds for veterans and first responders who are dealing with PTSD, trauma and suicidal ideation.

Along with Alvin Taylor’s sticks used to record George Harrison’s 33 & 1/3 album and Def Leppard limited edition, signed Hysteria Funko Pop! Figures, among the top items up for bidding is an acoustic guitar signed by none other than Swift. The instrument, donated by the multi-Grammy winner herself, features a photo from the singer’s Midnights shoot, in which she’s seen laying on a couch in a neutral-toned living room.

Oliver Sim, “Sensitive Child (Soulwax Remix)”

A standout track from Hideous Bastard, the recent solo album from The xx’s Oliver Sim, becomes an enthralling, extended groove as Soulwax turns the shaggy rock of “Sensitive Child” into a thumping dance scorcher. The legendary dance group zeroes in on the refrain “I can feel it! When we kiss!,” and grounds Sim’s ethereal vocal take with heaps of percussion; the remix is almost six minutes long but could have been twice that length without growing the least bit stale. – Jason Lipshutz

Alec Benjamin, “Paper Crown”

The original version of Alec Benjamin’s delicate sway-along “Paper Crown” was released on his Narrated for You mixtape in 2018, and has since become a fan favorite that the singer-songwriter decided to retool as a year-end treat. The new edition of “Paper Crown” is marked by its clean production and Benjamin’s earnest delivery, which made him stand out upon the song’s original release and has helped him gain a sizable fan base in the years since. – J. Lipshutz

Eaves Wilder, “Morning Rain”

Plenty of schools are about to go on holiday break, but before that, London-based singer-songwriter Eaves Wilder has released a striking new single about being frustrated by returning to class when all she wants to do is make music in her bedroom. “Morning Rain” has a lived-in quality that nods to Wilder’s real-life experiences, with melancholic harmonies cascading over wandering piano chords and a despondent kick drum.  – J. Lipshutz

Whenyoung, “Unchained”

Irish duo Whenyoung make songs that are both mysterious and wholly engrossing — witness “Unchained,” a haunting collection of hooks and fuzzed-out guitar that possesses some dissonance underneath its surface throughout its run time. The electro-pop lane that Whenyoung occupy is crowded, but a song like “Unchained” has enough intriguing details to make the group one to watch in 2023.  – J. Lipshutz

Noah Cyrus, “Set for Life”

A best new artist nominee at this year’s Grammys, Noah Cyrus is back with an expanded version of her debut full-length, The Hardest Part. New track “Set For Life” is a lush, romantic slice of singer-songwriter pop in the vein of Carly Simon with light Lana Del Rey undertones. – Joe Lynch

$uicideboy$ and Germ, “My Swisher Sweet, but My Sig Sauer”

On “My Swisher Sweet, but My Sig Sauer,” latest collab between $uicideboy$ and Germ, $crim and Ruby da Cherry bring a percolating combination of attitude and insecurity to a lo-fi but busy trap production with a spaced-out guitar riff, a Star Trek sample and Middle Eastern flavoring. – J. Lynch

Mynolia, “All Things Heavy”

Mynolia’s “All Things Heavy” is like a comforting cuddle, as the folk singer’s inviting voice floats over the folky, mostly acoustic production. Also the title track off the artist’s debut album, “All Things Heavy” proves that sometimes the softest moments can make a big impact. — Lyndsey Havens

Chloe George, “Sunny D”

Built around and amplified by a crunchy chorus of harmonized “oohs,” alt-pop singer Chloe George confidently shows her range on “Sunny D.” Delivering more polished verses with Ariana Grande-like melodies right alongside grungier riffs, the song is a shining example of what an artist who contains multitudes — and isn’t afraid to explore them — can create. — L.H.

Caroline Polachek, “Welcome To My Island”

Caroline Polacheck is back — and with a vengeance. On “Welcome To My Island” the pop star embraces the feminine and ferocious kicking off with swooping ethereal notes reminiscent of a siren song and before evolving into booming, arena-ready synths. The lyrics, according to Polachek, explore “conflict and frustration” as the tension sets the tone for her forthcoming album, Desire I Want To Turn Into You. – Starr Bowenbank

100 Gets, “Torture Me (feat. Srillex)”

After taking a short break following April’s “Doritos and Fritos,” 100 Gecs — the duo of Laura Les and Dylan Brady — enlist Skrillex on “Torture Me,” an amalgamation of nightcore, emo, hyperpop and rap. Les and Brady’s delivery of the song’s many questions — “Do you wanna see me bleed?/ Do you wanna torture me?/ Do you wanna see me cry?” — complements the anguish well, and allows the experimental instrumentation to shine. – S.B.

Grab your umbrellas because while it may be December, Kelly Clarkson‘s forecast calls for the very best kind of rain. The pop star opened her talk show on Monday (Dec. 5) by blazing through “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls.

“Humidity is rising, barometer’s getting low/ According to all sources, the street’s the place to go/ ‘Cause tonight for the first time, just about half past 10/ For the first time in history, it’s gonna start raining men,” she sang before belting out the track’s famous refrain of “It’s raining men, hallelujah it’s raining men!”

Originally released as the lead single off The Weather Girls’ 1982 album Success, “It’s Raining Men” became a No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart — and bonafide gay anthem — that October. Also peaking at No. 46 on the Billboard Hot 100, the testosterone-soaked track eventually received a Grammy nomination in the now-defunct best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals category.

Since the start of December, Clarkson has invited both Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon to her studio to duet on, respectively, “9 to 5” and Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You Babe.” Other recent Kellyoke picks by America’s original Idol include Lady Gaga’s Chromatica-era lead single “Stupid Love,” “Only Happy When It Rains” by Garbage, “Dream a Little Dream of Me” as recorded by Mama Cass with The Mamas and the Papas and more.

Plus, the erstwhile coach of The Voice and Ariana Grande also dropped a live recording of “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me,” their 2021 Christmas collab, just in time for the holiday season.

Lizzo doesn’t need a sentimental man or woman to pump her up anymore, because Adele‘s already got it covered. During one of the “Easy on Me” singer’s recent Las Vegas residency concerts, Adele took a moment to share her admiration for the Yitty founder and praised her new documentary Love, Lizzo — and Lizzo returned the favor on Twitter soon after.

“I met her at a house party,” Adele recalled to her audience of her first introduction to the “About Damn Time” musician. “She was like, ‘I’m a singer.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, amazing.’ I’m having a karaoke party this week if you want to come. We’ve had a few really one-on-one emotional girlfriend conversations. I really think very highly of her.”

She went on to give a rave review of Lizzo’s new biographical film Love, Lizzo, released in November on HBO Max. “Her documentary — and I hate music documentaries,” said the “Rolling In the Deep” vocalist, who kicked off her five-month residency at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in November. “I ain’t got time for no one doing documentaries in their 30s or 40s. Unless it’s Tina Turner or the Beatles, get out of town.”

“But I absolutely loved it,” Adele continued. “It was so sincere. It was so truthful. I laughed, I cried, I loved seeing all the footage and the photographs of her when she was little.”

“She’s such an amazing person,” the 15-time Grammy winner added. “She is so thoughtful, she sends flowers to you, she remembers things about you. She’s amazing, so I’d like to give her all of my love.”

Lizzo took notice of Adele’s sweet words about her, and reposted a video of the concert moment on Twitter Sunday (Dec. 4). “ADELE I LOVE UUUUU RIGHT BACK & I WANTED TO GO TO THAT KARAOKE PARTY SO BAD WE GOTTA DO IT BIG IN VEGAS BABY,” she wrote in her caption. “@Adele thank you for watching #lovelizzo.”

Siblings fight, make up and then fight again — that’s true of any family. Yet one subplot of Britney Spears’ legal battle to end her 13-year conservatorship has been the seeming dissolution of her relationship with younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who was still in the single digits when a teenage Britney broke through to pop superstardom in the Y2K era.

The tension hasn’t always been there: Britney helped Jamie Lynn land her first acting gig, penned the theme song to her sister’s Zoey 101 sitcom, and was singing alongside her on her 2013 album, Britney Jean. In the wake of a series of explosive court hearings, however, there have been emotional videos, accusatory captions and even dueling emojis suggesting a fracture in their relationship. As Britney continues to call out her family and the part certain members played in her conservatorship, the publication of Jamie Lynn’s autobiography, Things I Should Have Said, added fuel to the fire in early 2022.

But by late 2022, it seemed that things may once again have changed in the siblings’ volatile relationship. An Instagram post on Britney’s 41st birthday read, “It’s my b-day but you’re my heart so I’m thinking about you. Congratulations on being so brave, inspiring, and showing guts and glory in your show !!! You ain’t alone … if anybody knows what that feels like … I get it. My baby sister !!! I love you !!!”

What happened to Britney and Jamie Lynn’s close bond — and when did it start to break? We chart the ups and downs of their public relationship below.

Ever since she was young, Kim Petras has remained dedicated to her songwriting craft. For her installment of Billboard’s Growing Up, the German singer reflected on her gender identity and how a move to Los Angeles at 19 helped fulfill her childhood dreams of pop stardom.

Elton John will complete his final lap of the U.K. with a performance on one of the biggest stages of them all — Glastonbury Festival.
The Rocket Man will lift off at the Pyramid Stage on Sunday, June 25, the final night of Glastonbury 2023, for what promises to be a set littered with classics.

“It gives me enormous pleasure to let you know that the one and only Elton John will be making his first ever Glastonbury appearance, headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday night next year,” writes Glastonbury’s co-organizer Emily Eavis, daughter of founder Michael Eavis. “This will be the final U.K. show of Elton’s last ever tour, so we will be closing the Festival and marking this huge moment in both of our histories with the mother of all send offs. We are so very happy to finally bring the Rocket Man to Worthy Farm.”

Elton is calling time on his extraordinary touring career with a fittingly epic trek, the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.

Dates began in 2018 and, when it wraps next July at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, it’s expected to set the bar as the highest grossing tour of all time. It’s just the third tour in history to pass the $600 million threshold, following U2’s 360 Tour ($736.4 million), and Ed Sheeran’s The Divide Tour ($776.4 million).

The British pop legend completed his final run of North America last month with a string of dates at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the final of which was captured for the special, Elton John Live From Dodger Stadium, which streams exclusively on Disney+.

We are incredibly excited to announce that the one and only @EltonOfficial will headline the Pyramid Stage on Sunday night at Glastonbury 2023, for what will be the final UK show of his last ever tour. pic.twitter.com/tpylanY1Rh— Glastonbury Festival (@glastonbury) December 2, 2022

Established in 1970, Glastonbury is the grandaddy of U.K. festivals. And with its enviable reputation as a rite of passage and the place where all the giants of contemporary music get to work, Glastonbury has already sold out its 2023 edition long before the final bill is announced.

Next year’s event, held once again at the Eavis’ Worthy Farm, in south west England, is expected to host about 200,000 people.

Charlie Puth celebrated his 31st birthday on Friday (Dec. 2) by going public with his new relationship on social media.

The pop star shared a photo of himself adorably cuddled up with his girlfriend in a series of black-and-white photo-booth snaps. “Ohhhhh I’m NOT a loser…’cause I didn’t lose her!!! (Happy birthday to me.)” he captioned the post, referencing the lyrics to the fan-favorite song “Loser” from his latest album Charlie.

While Puth didn’t tag the woman in the photo, Instagram sleuths determined the singer’s lady love was Brooke Sansone. The stylish brunette, who runs the Instagram account @theeclosetnextdoor, shared the same photo in her Instagram Stories with the caption, “birthday boy @charlieputh” using a white-heart emoji.

Just before Thanksgiving, the “Left and Right” crooner performed a tribute to Lionel Richie with Stevie Wonder at the 2022 American Music Awards, complete with a superstar rendition of “We Are the World” featuring Ari Lennox, Melissa Etheridge, Yola, Muni Long, Smokey Robinson, Jimmie Allen and more.

On the red carpet for the awards show, Puth opened up exclusively to Billboard about finding success on TikTok, saying, “The yearn to collaborate” was what drew him to the social media platform in the first place.

“I remember being a 16-year-old kid on YouTube and just hoping and praying that I could one day collaborate with someone online and make music with them,” he added. “and the fact that, well everybody, kids of all ages are coming up to me, asking me to collaborate with them through the means of online communication, that’s pretty special and very full-circle.”
