Many Twitter users were experiencing bizarre issues that made the social media platform unusable.
Elon Musk’s Twitter is an absolute mess, and users let bootleg Tony Stark know it. Wednesday afternoon, around 4:45 pm, per the New York Times reporting, Twitter’s core features, like direct messages and tweets, were not working for many users for several hours.
Around 6:30 pm, Twitter acknowledged the issues and said it was working to fix the issues in a tweet. “Twitter may not be working as expected for some of you. Sorry for the trouble. We’re aware and working to get this fixed,” the company’s support account said.

While some users could send tweets, others got a message incorrectly telling them they were “over the daily limit for sending Tweets.” Even retweets were not working when users attempted to send one, and they would get this “Sorry! You’ve have exceeded your Tweet limit. Try retweet again tomorrow” message.
The ability to follow accounts was also not working for many. Rex Chapman and many others shared the issue on their timelines.

Was This Done On Purpose?
The Hollywood Reporter reports the company is limiting users to 2,400 tweets a day, significantly impacting businesses and individual accounts.
Per THR:
The company, under Elon Musk, is now placing limits to the number of direct messages and tweets that a user can send per day, according to a page on Twitter’s Help Center site. The daily tweet limit is 2,400, but the site notes, “the daily update limit is further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals.” Retweets also count toward that limit.
In response to the THR report, the company claims, “The “limits” mentioned in the article are not new, and were not just implemented today. They have been the policy since 2019 on Twitter.”

Regardless of what they say, there is no denying after Elon Musk reluctantly acquired the platform for $44 billion, it’s been a hot mess, and users are letting him know that.

Shannon Sharpe has some advice for Memphis Grizzlies’ superstar Ja Morant after his entourage got into a bit of alleged trouble.
Allegedly, some of Ja Morant’s boys “aggressively confronted” some Indiana Pacers staff following a Grizzlies win on January 29.
Sharpe spoke on the alleged altercation on a Monday episode of Undisputed with his co-host Skip Bayless. “Ja is an outstanding basketball player,” Sharpe begins. “Ja did everything he could to lift himself and his family out of this type of environment and to get away from this, and for some reason, he wants to surround himself with these type of people. Why? Bruh, you not hard. That’s not your life. People in that life would give anything to be in your life.”

Before the altercation, tempers flared on the court, with Morant and Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard getting into a heated exchange during the third quarter. Morant reportedly said he “checked [Nembard’s] temperature” and that “he didn’t have a fever.”
Per The Athletic’s reporting, someone in Morant’s entourage inside an SUV pointed a red laser at the Indiana travel crew. They also claimed Morant was allegedly in the vehicle and that someone pointed a firearm at them from the SUV.
The Pacers’ staffers declined to file a report about the incident out of fear of retaliation, so the organization did it for them.
Following its own investigation, the NBA said it “could not corroborate that any individual threatened others with a weapon.” But, a member of Morant’s crew was banned from FedEx Arena for a year.
Morant spoke about the situation in a tweet calling cap on the situation.

Shannon Sharpe Wants Ja Morant To Stop Pretending To Be Tough
Sharpe also touched on the tweet, adding, “Stop pretending… You’re not gonna do nothing,” he continued. “What you’re gonna do is get yourself in trouble — [and] put yourself and your family in harm’s way — when you don’t have to. Just play basketball.”
“You pretend like you’re hard, but you’re not, Ja,” he added. “You’re opening yourself up. You’re putting yourself in a position you don’t even need to be in. And for what? Street cred? Come on, bruh.”
Twitter chimed in on the situation, agreeing with Uncle Shannon, pointing out that Morant needs to focus on his play and stop trying to be Larry Hoover.

The certified lover boy, Drake, has blood on his hands. That is what defense lawyers in the XXXTentacion murder trial are claiming.
Drake allegedly played a vital role in the 2018 murder of Hip-Hop star XXXTentaction, the defense team for the three men on trial for the death of the “SAD!” crafter claim.
According to the lawyers, an alleged beef between the late rapper and Drizzy possibly led to XXXTentacion’s 2018 murder, but authorities never pursued that angle.
The trial of Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, and Dedrick Williams is finally underway, with opening statements being presented. All three men are charged with first-degree murder and are looking at life in prison for XXXTentacion’s murder.
A fourth member, Robert Allen, who was with the three other men, has already pled guilty to second-degree murder last year and will take the stand against Boatwright, Newsome, and Williams.
In December, the three defendant’s attorneys named Joe Budden, Drake, and The Migos, plus others as key witnesses, the Miami Herald reports. The defense also claims the three men are a victim of the lies being spread by Allen.
Broward Circuit Judge Michael Usan isn’t buying what the defense is selling, and wonders what relationship the celebs named have with the murder. The prosecution called the defense’s tactics a silly stunt.
The Prosecutor Thinks The Drake Link Is A Joke
“It is apparent from the deliberate, late disclosure of the defendant’s witnesses and comments made between the parties that [the] defendant intended to ‘surprise’ the state and create a trial by ambush,” prosecutor Pascale Achille said to the judge.
She also said the defense provided no addresses or contact information for the celebs so that a subpoena could be issued.
Dedrick Williams’ attorney, Mauricio Padilla, pushed back at Achille’s claims of his tactics being nothing more than a joke.
“They are high-profile people,” Padilla told Judge Usan. “And it’s not easy for me to subpoena. I don’t have numbers, but it doesn’t mean I won’t be able to. Trying to subpoena Drake is not easy — you need a drone.”
Drake’s name being brought up during the trial by lawyers due to an eyebrow-raising post on XXXTentaction’s Instagram page where he wrote, “If anyone tries to kill me it was @champagnepapi.”

The post was eventually deleted, and the late rapper said his account was hacked. XXXTentacion also threw shots at Drake and his mother on Twitter.
As expected, Twitter had thoughts and sounded off on the platform. You can see the reactions in the gallery below.

AMC might be putting on a masterclass in self-sabotage with the announcement of its new ticket pricing system.
On Monday afternoon, AMC revealed that its Sightline initiative would set its ticket price based on where you enjoy your movie-watching experience. It will likely lead to battles for that highly coveted middle section.
Per NPR:
Seats on the front row are considered Value Sightline seats and cost less, while seats in the middle are called Preferred Sightline seats and will cost more. The remaining parts of the theater are Standard Sightline seats and will cost the price of a standard admission ticket.
Those who are members of AMC Stubs A-List, the top tier of the company’s reward program, can select Preferred Sightline seats for no extra cost.
If you cop movie tickets after 4 pm, Sightline-prices will be applied. However, the new initiative will not apply to AMC’s $5 Discount Tuesdays.
This heada** pricing structure is already available in select markets, with AMC set to introduce it at all movie locations at the end of the year.
“Sightline at AMC more closely aligns AMC’s seat pricing approach to that of many other entertainment venues, offering experienced-based pricing and another way for moviegoers to find value at the movies,” Executive Vice President Eliot Hamlisch said.
As Expected No One Likes AMC’s New Ticket Pricing Initiative
The initiative isn’t going over well with customers and even those in Hollywood. Actor Elijah Wood, best known for his role as Frodo Baggins in The Lord of The Rings trilogy, pointed out AMC’s new system would punish lower-income movie fans.

We shall see if AMC will continue with this new pricing initiative or have an about-face after it will most likely flop. You can see more reactions in the gallery below.

The Grammys always will leave folks in their feelings. The BeyHive was tight after Beyoncé didn’t win Album of The Year, and R&B bad boy Chris Brown was BIG MAD after failing to secure a Grammy and played himself big time in the process.
Minus the bowtie this time around, Chris Brown had to say he was sorry after he hopped into his Instagram stories and took shots at highly beloved and decorated artist Robert Glasper after losing the Grammy for best R&B album to him.
For those who are like Breezy, stuck in a bubble, and have no idea who Robert Glasper is, he is a damn good pianist and producer, and his work transcends Jazz, R&B, and Hip-Hop.
In his “apology” to Glasper after the disrespect, Brown shared a screengrab of an apology he sent via direct message to Glasper.
“Congratulations my brother… I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean.”
He continued, “After doing my research I actually think you’re amazing… the organization isn’t doing us Blacks our due diligence. You and I should never be in the same category… two totally different vibes and genres. So from one Black man to another, congratulations. Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G.”

Here’s Where Chris Brown Played Himself
After Glasper secured his fifth Grammy, Brown pop and locked into his Instagram stories posting a story stating, “Y’all playing. Who da fuck is this?” He then wrote, “Ima keep kicking y’all ass! Respectfully.”
His next post was an image  asking, “Who the f*ck is Robert Glasper.” Brown, who has been the recipient of 21 Grammy nominations, winning one, posted a photo of himself with a harmonica, writing, “I gotta get my skills up… ima start playing the harmonica.”
Brown ended his now-deleted tirade by sharing a TikTok showcasing all of his achievements that closes with a Google search of Glasper with a voiceover asking, “Who the fuck is this?”
Well, after Twitter users gathered him all the way up, now he knows, and he’s singing he’s sorry.

It was a history-making night for Beyoncé at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
Beyoncé’s husband, JAY-Z, once rapped, “tell the Grammy’s fuck that 0 for eight shit,” but that feeling was swept under the rug as the couple returned to the awards show to see if Queen Bey could walk away a big winner.
The Houston native arrived fashionably late and took home four awards for her critically acclaimed album Renaissance. Earlier in the broadcast, her viral hit “Cuff It” won Best R&B Song while she was stuck in traffic. Her collaborators on the song, The-Dream, and Niles Rogers were on hand to accept the award on her behalf.

Beyoncé Was Thankful
Beyonce’s latest project also won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album award. The lead single, “Break My Soul,” won Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and “Plastic Off the Sofa” won Best Traditional R&B performance, cementing her as the greatest winner of all time at the Grammys.
“I am trying not to be too emotional, and I am trying to just receive this night,” she said while fighting tears.
“I want to thank God for protecting me. Thank you God. I’d like to thank my uncle Johnny, who is not here but he’s here in spirit,” of course her parents got love too, “I’d like to thank my parents — my father, my mother — for loving me and pushing me,” she said during her speech.
“I’d like to thank my beautiful husband and my beautiful three children,” was the punctuation on her acceptance speech.

But she didn’t take home two of the night’s biggest honors. Song of The Year went to Lizzo’s retail store anthem, “About Damn Time,” and dedicated her win to the late legend Prince. She also gave Beyoncé her flowers during her speech.

Album of The Year, which always seems to elude Queen Bey, landed on Harry Style’s lap for his album “Harry’s House.” Of course, the BeyHive, who was happy for their queen making history, felt she was more deserving of Album of The Year.

Other Notable Grammy Moments
Other moments we care to talk about include Kendrick Lamar winning three Grammy Awards for his album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. He received the Rap Album award from Cardi B and, in his acceptance speech, thanked his family for giving him “courage and vulnerability” to share his truth on the album. He said his latest project was tough to make, and he “found imperfection.”

Lamar also won Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for his song “The Heart Part 5.”
23-year-old Bronx Native Jazz singer Samara Joy took home Best New Artist and Best Jazz Vocal Album.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards went down on Sunday night (February 5) at the Crytpo.com Arena and its red carpet is an annual cavalcade of high fashion. However, it is also the nexus of some incredibly awful fits.

Nah for real, some of these stylists are clearly criminals on the side. At the end of the day, thought, the artist does have the option to say, “No.”
So for archival purposes, it’s only right we compiled some of the wilder outfits, starting with…wait for it…Blac Chyna.

Did she drop any music in 2022? Umm, who gave her a ticket? So many questions, so much fail.

It was Grammy Weekend in Los Angeles, which in some circles means an event even more anticipated than the actual Grammy Awards, the Roc Nation Brunch. The annual event went down at a private residence in Bel Air on Saturday, February 4, and once again it featured a who’s who of industry movers and shakers, and the occasional clout chasers who finessed their way in.

Some of the A-listers in attendance, besides Beyonce and Jay-Z, of course, included Lil’ Kim, DJ Khaled, Lil Uzi Vert, Tyler the Creator, Benny The Butcher, Victor Cruz, Kelly Rowland and many, many more

Scoring an invite to The Brunch also means stepping out in your best attire because everyone is going to be watching, snapping photos and taking footage for the ‘Gram. That is, if you’re allowed to.

And from the looks of the pics, there are some dastardly stylists out in these Hip-Hop streets, respectfully.

It’s time to unpack with Samsung and get our first official look at the company’s new lineup of Galaxy smartphones.
Like we always do around this time, Samsung is here to show off its new slate of phones that don’t fold. Wednesday, February 1, Samsung officially unveiled its new Galaxy S23, S23+, and S22 Ultra smartphones, confirming earlier leaks.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra effectively took the Galaxy Note’s place with its arrival last year, taking on the responsibility of housing the S-Pen and being the phone catered towered the person who needs a device that can transition between work and play.
With the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the design gets tweaks, but you’re getting much of the same with Samsung seemingly taking if ain’t broke, don’t fix it approach with its premium smartphone offering. Still, there are some improvements to marvel at when you use the device.
With the Galaxy S22 and S22+, you will notice some of the most changes in the phone’s design and other improvements in terms of software, performance, and improved camera system.
All three devices are models of sustainability and are made of more recycled materials than previous Galaxy smartphone models. The S23 line was made using aluminum, glass, and plastic from recycled fishing nets, water barrels, and plastic bottles.
So let’s get into the specs of each device below.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The Galaxy S23 Ultra keeps things pretty much the same but boasts some improvements to its already stellar design. The device comes in a matte finish in four attractive colors, Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender.
In keeping with the legacy of the Galaxy Ultra, the S23 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O QHD+ Edge Screen with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio plus 120Hz refresh rate capable of achieving 500ppi, 1,750nit to deliver that crisp, sharp, and beautiful display experience Samsung users come to expect from their Galaxy devices.
Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 improves drop protection and scratch resistance on the S23 Ultra’s glass.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra also features a newly shaped curvature on the device’s edge, allowing for a larger surface area than its predecessor.
It also features what Samsung calls “Intelligent Display” that automatically adjusts the display’s color tone and contrasts at three different to ensure either your mobile gaming or streaming experience is never impacted.
Samsung has its eye on the ever-growing mobile gaming industry and is ensuring its S23 devices are up to the task of handling gamers’ needs. Gaming and overall performance on the S23 Ultra also improve thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.
The new chip provides 40% faster graphics and 40% better AI performance with a BIG 5,000 mAh battery that will keep you away from a wall socket, promising all-day battery life. It also features 8 or 12GB of RAM paired with 256 GB and 1 TB of storage space.

5G service is the standard, and support for WiFi6 will have you connected to the web, streaming, and gaming at the highest speeds.

The S23 Ultra separates itself from the S23 and S23+ by featuring a “200MP Adaptive Pixel sensor” that will allow users to do much more with their photos without losing image quality.
It also has a 12-megapixel ultrawide, two 10-megapixel telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom, and 8K video capture at 30 FPS with wider-angle shots.
New object-based AI will carefully focus on human characteristics like eyes and hair in individual frames that Samsung claims will “carefully reflect a person’s dynamic characteristics.”

Nightography is better than ever, thanks to the S23 Ultra’s massive pixel sensor.

The selfie camera gets a big bump to 12 megapixels and now has a faster autofocus, 60FPS video recording, and is what Samsung says is its “first Super HDR selfie camera.”
The S Pen Returns

The Galaxy S23 & S23+

The baseline S23 and midrange S23+ are not the powerhouse the S23 Ultra is but still boast significant improvements. Both models feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, like the Ultra making them well-equipped to handle mobile gaming and other functions.
The Galaxy S23+ and S23 have a 50-megapixel main sensor and 3x zoom and ultrawide lenses. The S23+ has a 6.6-inch display, while the S23 has a 6.1-inch display.
Like the Ultra, both models feature a 12-megapixel selfie camera allowing for fantastic selfies day or night.
Gone is the bump on the back, and now the S23 and S23+ both have the same camera system design as the S23 Ultra for a more streamlined design across the devices.

Both displays use Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and can handle 120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rates like the Ultra model. The devices come in four color options, Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender.
