A day after it was reported that a man was shot outside of Drake’s residence in Toronto, more bad news comes for the embattled King of the North. Word out of London is that Drizzy’s OVO flagship store was vandalized with a specific message for the Canadian crooner.
Just a few days after Kendrick Lamar released his scathing Drake diss/club record, “Not Like Us,” a fan in the UK apparently took the song to heart and decided to spray paint “They not like us” across the front window of Drake’s OVO store, HotNewHipHop reports.
More than just your average diss record, K. Dot’s “Not Like Us” accuses Drake of not only being a sexual predator, but also employing a team of pedophiles who reside in his multimillion dollar mansion in Toronto. To make matters worse for Drake, Kendrick turned the diss record into an actual catchy club cut complete with a bouncy beat and sing-a-long phrase towards the end of the track.
As we stated before, the vandalization of the OVO store comes after a security guard was shot outside of Drake’s mansion early Tuesday morning. Though the security guard is alive, according to NBC News, he remains in serious condition.
Per NBC News:
Officers found the security guard suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, Inspector Paul Krawczyk said at a news conference. The guard was standing outside a gate when he was injured.
Police said in a news release they believe he “was shot from a vehicle which then fled the scene.”
He remains in the hospital in serious condition, Krawczyk said.
Krawczyk said authorities do not know how many people were involved or what kind of car they were in, but he noted that the shooting was captured on video.
Yeah, Kendrick Lamar and Drake might have to hold a joint press conference at some point to calm things down if things like this keep happening because things seem to be getting out of hand and quickly. If 50 Cent and The Game were reluctantly able to do so in 2005 when their beef began to violently spill out on the streets, K. Dot and Drake can do so also. Just sayin’.

As reported by Hype Beast the Canadian based label is looking to broaden their horizons. This week OVO announced a new capsule collection with NEEDLES. As expected the drop merges both brand identities in a thoughtful but memorable way via the OVO typography being infused into the middle of NEEDLES butterfly logo. Thankfully the drop extends far past your traditional streetwear essentials and covers off on outerwear as well.
Included in the capsule are seven pieces including t-shirts, track suits, button up shirts and a bandanna. The stand out piece though is a cream cardigan sweater that can dressed up or dressed down. It features a mohair shell with October’s Very Own spelled out throughout the body in different earth tone colors. Additionally the five button front closure makes the cypher complete.
The NEEDLES x October’s Very Own capsule collection will be available starting Friday, March 1 in Tokyo, Japan. You can shop the drop here.

Major League Soccer, the leading soccer league in North America, and October’s Very Own partnered with one of the greatest living street artists in the game for a new collection. MLS and OVO joined forces with the legendary Mr. Cartoon for a new drop featuring three Major League Soccer squads.
Major League Soccer represents 26 teams in the United States and three teams from Canada and is currently in its 29th year in existence. While soccer isn’t as large a sport in North America as it is globally, MLS has made great strides in providing great sports competitions and entertainment for its fans.
OVO, founded by Drake, has been part of the fashion wave for years and the decision to work with Mr. Cartoon resulted in a limited-edition run of pieces that went on sale today (May 19) online. The collection will prominently feature three MLS teams, Toronto FC, LAFC, and New York City FC.
Mr. Cartoon has enjoyed a long career stemming from his early beginnings as a graffiti artist in Los Angeles before larger projects and his extensive tattoo work. Today, Cartoon’s work graces not only murals and fashion collaborations but also album covers.
The collection will feature an array of hoodies, sweat shorts, and t-shirts.
You can find the collection here at octobersveryown.com. Toronto FC fans will be able to cop their collection at shop.realsports.ca and at BMO Field beginning Saturday, May 27
