Fans of Beyoncé can watch her special NFL halftime performance on Netflix on Christmas after the game, but only for a little while.
If you happen to miss the live concert performance by Beyoncé during halftime of the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game on Christmas Day, you can still catch it on Netflix – but you’ll only have a few hours to check the replay. The superstar singer is set to bring down the house in her native Houston at NRG Stadium, where the second of two NFL matchups on the holiday will begin at 4 P.M. EST. The first game will feature the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 P.M. EST.
The halftime show and the Ravens-Texans game will be available for rewatch along with the Chiefs-Steelers game for up to three hours after the live stream ends – making it an 11 P.M. EST cut-off, according to the contractual agreement Netflix has with the NFL. For viewers outside of the United States, the performance and games will disappear from the platform 24 hours after the live stream concludes. For viewers in the local markets for each team, they’ll be able to watch on their local networks.
As usual, there haven’t been many advance details provided about the set that Beyoncé is going to perform, but Netflix has confirmed that there will be “special guests” joining her to perform tracks from her latest release, Cowboy Carter. This will be Beyoncé’s third venture with the NFL – she was the halftime performer in New Orleans at the 2013 Super Bowl, which included a Destiny’s Child reunion, and sang “Formation” with Coldplay’s Chris Martin at their 2016 Super Bowl performance.
Netflix’s continuing foray into airing live sporting events took a major step when they announced they would host the games earlier this year. Their pregame coverage will be streamed live from their studios in Los Angeles, California, and at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh beginning at 11 A.M. EST, and will also feature a recorded performance by Mariah Carey who will sing her hit “All I Want For Christmas” that will be aired before both games.
Beyoncé is getting in on the Netflix buffering joke ahead of her highly anticipated NFL Halftime Show performance.
On Tuesday (Dec. 24), the 43-year-old superstar shared a new 30-second teaser for her upcoming performance, which will air during the Christmas Day NFL doubleheader on Netflix.
In the clip, Beyoncé — dressed in a long shawl, a sparkly top, a large hat and black sunglasses — sits on a football field strumming a banjo as her hit song “Texas Hold ‘Em” plays. After a few moments, she stops playing, pulls down her sunglasses, and the camera zooms in on her face as a buffering wheel spins on screen — a playful nod to the glitches experienced during Netflix’s mid-November Mike Tyson-Jake Paul boxing match. Beyoncé giggles as the video resumes and ends with her giving the camera a wink.

Alongside the teaser, Beyoncé wrote on Instagram: “I’m sending you big joy and love on this Cowboy Christmas Eve. I’ll see y’all tomorrow, in my city HTX.”
Netflix also shared the teaser on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “LOADING…BEYONCÉ. NFL Halftime Show – Ravens vs. Texans. Kickoff at 4:30 PM ET. Tomorrow on Netflix. #NFLonNetflix.”
Trending on Billboard
The teaser comes just one day before Beyoncé’s hometown performance at Houston’s NRG Stadium, where she’ll take the stage for the highly anticipated halftime show between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day.
This will be Beyoncé’s first live performance since the release of Cowboy Carter, her Billboard 200-topping album. The NFL first announced her halftime appearance in mid-November, sharing a teaser of her standing atop a rose-covered vintage car, effortlessly catching a football, and the opening track “American Requiem” from Cowboy Carter playing in the background — a likely hint at her setlist.
The Christmas Day doubleheader opens with the Kansas City Chiefs facing the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Texans vs. Ravens game at 4:30 p.m. ET. Both games — and Beyoncé’s halftime performance — will stream live on Netflix, with additional access via NFL+ for regional broadcasts and mobile viewers.
Beyoncé’s return to the NFL halftime stage marks her first appearance since her iconic 2013 Super Bowl performance, where she reunited with Destiny’s Child. In 2016, she joined Coldplay and Bruno Mars for another unforgettable performance.

One of the most dominant athletes to ever put on an NFL uniform is showing his vulnerability. Randy Moss has revealed he is battling a medical issue.
As per The Huffington Post the NFL icon has shared an update regarding his health. On Sunday, Dec. 1 he took to social media to make the announcement. The former Minnesota Viking wideout explained “he’s battling something internal.” While he didn’t provide specifics on his condition he did go on and ask for his fans to keep him in their thoughts. “Throughout the week of the holidays, your boy has been battling something internal,” he added. “I just ask for all the prayer warriors to put their blessing hands on me and my family through these hard times.”
He went on to remind men to be timely and thoughtful with their health milestones. “I got a great team of doctors and I got a great family around me,” he continued. “All you men, y’all do your checkups, get your blood work done, and we’ll work through it.” In a follow up post he made it clear that he will be keeping the matter close to the heart until further notice. “There’s going to be people concerned and asking questions. At this time, I’m just going to keep a lot of things private. Just bear with me. But like I said, I need your prayers.”
Last week fans became concerned when his eyes were noticeably yellow during a recent taping of NFL Countdown. He soon started wearing sunglasses during segments. Randy Moss made sure to address this directly saying that wearing the eyewear is not “being disrespectful,” but explained he is wearing them “because I’m on television.”
Yellowing of the eyes are a sign of a serious medical condition. According to WebMD common causes of yellow eyes include Hepatitis, consuming too much alcohol, liver infection and sickle cell anemia.

Jay-Z was in the house to watch the Washington Commanders face off against the Dallas Cowboys.
The 54-year-old music mogul, whose Roc Nation has a partnership with the NFL, attended Sunday’s (Nov. 24) game at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md., alongside Fanatics founder/CEO Michael Rubin.
Ahead of the matchup, Jay-Z — dressed in a sleek black sweater, long gray coat, dark pants and a large beanie — was spotted chatting on the sidelines with Commanders general manager Adam Peters.
Before the Commanders were sold in 2023, Jay was reportedly among several high-profile figures, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and media mogul Byron Allen, who expressed interest in purchasing the team, according to Sports Illustrated. Ultimately, the team was sold to investor Josh Harris for a reported $6.05 billion.
Trending on Billboard
Jay-Z’s presence at the game left many fans on social media curious about his allegiance. “Jay-Z at a Commanders game is random, but I’m not surprised,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another posted, “Jay-Z at the Commanders vs Cowboys game… wild. I wonder who he’s rooting for?” That sentiment was echoed by another user, who asked on X, “When did Jay-Z become a Commanders fan???”
Earlier this year, Bloomberg reported that Jay and the NFL are continuing their partnership. At the NFL owners’ meeting in Atlanta on Oct. 15, Commissioner Roger Goodell said, “It’s been a mutually positive relationship, I’m not sure either one of us really spend much time talking about contracts. Jay is happy. Desiree Perez is happy. I’m happy, so we’re all good.”
According to ESPN, Roc Nation’s previous deal with the NFL, valued at $25 million over five years, has included overseeing the Super Bowl Halftime Show and supporting the league’s social justice initiative, Inspire Change, which has awarded $375 million in grants.
The partnership has sparked its share of controversy since its announcement in the summer of 2019. Jay-Z faced backlash for aligning with a league that had been accused of blackballing former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the national anthem in protest of police brutality. More recently, Jay-Z faced criticism from some in the hip-hop community after it was announced that Kendrick Lamar — not Lil Wayne — would headline this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans.
Under Jay-Z and Roc Nation’s stewardship, the Super Bowl Halftime Show has featured a string of hip-hop centric acts, including Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, The Weeknd, Dr. Dre and friends, Rihanna and Usher. This year’s show, featuring Lamar, is highly anticipated as he aims to cap off a stellar year with a headline performance.
