Also on the jump is Cassö, RAYE and D-Block Europe’s “Prada” (Ministry of Sound), up 4-3 for a new high.

Canadian singer and songwriter Tate McRae’s break-up anthem “Greedy” (Ministry of Sound) lifts 8-5 for a new peak position – giving venerated British dance label Ministry of Sound three of the top 5 singles. “Greedy” is closing in of McRae’s career best chart performance in the U.K., which she set in 2020 with “You Broke Me First,” which reached No. 3.

The top new entry on the latest chart, published Friday, Sept. 29, belongs to Nines as “Daily Duppy” (Zino) starts at No. 20. That’s the London rapper’s fifth top 40 entry.

Close behind is Tom Odell’s “Black Friday” (Urok) new at No. 21, for the British singer and songwriter’s fourth U.K. top 40 single.

Meanwhile, reunited pop-punk veterans Blink-182 land a 12th U.K. top 40 single with “One More Time” (Columbia), the title track from their forthcoming album. It’s new at No. 28 for the trio’s highest-charting U.K. single 2004’s “Down” hit No. 24. ONE MORE TIME is due out on Oct. 20 via Columbia Records.

Finally, Doja Cat’s Scarlet album cut “Agora Hills” bows at No. 29, while two tracks from Headie One and K-Trap impact the top 40. “Triple Threat” with Clavish debuts at No. 31, while “Park Chinois” improves 50-39. Both titles appear on the British hip-hop acts’ U.K. top 10 collaborative mixtape Strength To Strength.

Kylie Minogue’s ‘Tension’ Powers to No. 1 In U.K.

Kylie Minogue can’t be stopped in the U.K. chart race, as Tension (via BMG) blasts to No. 1.

Australia’s “princess of pop” bags a ninth leader with Tension, which earns 53,000 chart sales in its first week (including market-leading vinyl sales), to outsell the rest of the top 5 combined, the Official Charts Company reports.

The runaway leader at the halfway stage, Tension features the U.K. top 10 single “Padam Padam” and is Kylie’s 16th studio album.

Tension joins Minogue’s previous U.K. leaders, which include 1988 debut Kylie, 1989’s Enjoy Yourself, 1992’s Greatest Hits, 2001’s Fever, 2010’s Aphrodite, 2018’s Golden, 2019’s Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection and 2020’s Disco.

With that feat, Kylie levels-up with Bob Dylan and Coldplay on the list of acts with the most No. 1s albums on the Official Chart, with nine apiece.

The only female solo artists ahead of Kylie on the all-time list are Taylor Swift (with 10) and Madonna (12).

Meanwhile, Olivia Rodrigo’s former leader Guts (Geffen) holds at No. 2 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, published Oct. 29, and the Weeknd’s career-retrospective Highlights (Republic Records/XOis unchanged at No. 3, in its 138ths week on the survey.

Homegrown hip-hop stars  Headie One and K-Trap and K-Trap bow at No. 4 with their first collaborative album, Strength to Strength (via One Thousand8). It’s Headie One’s (real name: Irving Ampofo Adjei) third top 5 appearance following 2019’s Music x Road (No. 5 peak) and 2020 chart-topper EDNA; while K-Trap (real name Devonte Kasi Martin Perkins) scores a career peak, beating 2022’s The Last Whip II, which topped out at No. 12.

Doja Cat’s nabs her third top 40 appearance with Scarlet (Ministry of Sound), new at No. 5. Doja’s previous appearances on the national albums chart included 2021’s Planet Her (No. 3) and 2019’s Hot Pink (No. 38).

Taylor Swift Fans React to ‘Cornelia St.’ Sign Televised During Chiefs-Jets Game

Taylor Swift fans were not amused by NBC Sunday night (Oct. 1). Mid-game — when the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets were tied 20-20 — the camera once again made its way to Swift, who was there with a group of celeb friends to support her rumored romantic partner, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Swift has provided some wildly fun reactions to the Chiefs’ touchdowns this weekend and last, and seemed to be enjoying herself Sunday. But at this point of the game, she looked stressed.

Cue a shot of … the “Cornelia St.” sign? “Cornelia Street” is subjectively one of Swift’s saddest songs, which she penned about the time she rented a place on New York City’s Cornelia Street, and how she was “so terrified of if you ever walk away, I’d never walk Cornelia Street again.”

“And I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends/ I’d never walk Cornelia Street again,” Swift sings in the chorus. “That’s the kind of heartbreak time could never mend. I’d never walk Cornelia Street again.”

“Cornelia Street,” which appears on 2019’s Lover, is widely assumed to be inspired by the early days of her long-term relationship with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Swift dated the actor for six years before parting ways earlier this year, with sources noting that “the relationship had just run its course.”

Now that she’s being linked to Travis Kelce — regularly showing up at his games to cheer him on, and hanging out with his mom — seeing a random shot of the actual “Cornelia St.” sign before a commercial break Sunday night startled fans.

“What’s up with the cut to Cornelia st,” one tweeted with the “dead” emoji.

Another fan pointed out in a tweet: “BRO WHY DID THEY JUST SHOW CORNELIA ST????!? READ THE ROOM.”

“THEY DID NOT JUST SHOW TAYLOR AND THEN CORNELIA ST I CANT,” another wrote, while someone else said, “NOT CORNELIA ST I FEEL SICK.”

“Showing Cornelia St wasn’t the Easter egg they thought it was,” another added.

“That dissolve transition to the Cornelia St sign is VILE,” one fan tweeted.

Swift’s night at the game marks the second public appearance/football date where the 1989 hitmaker showed support for the Chiefs’ No. 87.

Swift’s guests at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Sunday included plenty of star power: The pop icon was accompanied by friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. She was seen hugging Sabrina Carpenter as she entered the stadium. Hugh Jackman was also spotted. (Swift and Lively were also photographed arriving together at a dinner in New York City the night before.)

“Welcome to New York, it’s been waiting for you,” the official NFL account tweeted to Swift on X before the game began, sharing a clip of her greeting others at the stadium. They continued to share clips of Swift enjoying herself throughout the night, and caught her reaction to a touchdown.

Last Sunday (Sept. 24) in Kansas City, Swift also showed up for Kelce, going wild when he scored a touchdown. “Let’s f—ing go!” she was seen on camera calling out as she cheered alongside Mama Kelce; Fox Sports‘ coverage cut to Swift frequently that night. Travis and Taylor were seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium and riding off together in a getaway car, according to photos acquired by TMZ, and they attended an afterparty.

NBC used Swift’s “Welcome to New York” in a TV commercial earlier this week to promote the Chiefs’ vs. Jets game.

Porno for Pyros to Reschedule Reunion Tour Dates: ‘We’ve Pushed the Tour a Few Months’

Porno for Pyros postponed the tour that was scheduled to kick off next weekend, on Oct. 8.

“We are beyond thankful for all of your support these last 30 years, and are anxious to celebrate our 30th anniversary with you,” said a statement from the Perry Farrell-fronted band on Instagram Friday (Sept. 29). “Whilst rehearsing for our first tour in 25 years, we’ve also been in the studio creating new music – that we were hoping to get to you in time for these shows. Unfortunately, we have had to move the dates for the upcoming tour as we were not able to begin our campaign in time.”

“So, we’ve pushed the tour a few months from now, in order for everyone to hear and appreciate the new material that is finally finished. Listen up for the new music in the upcoming weeks and keep an eye out for new tour dates. We’re coming!” the update said.

In July, Farrell said that the band would regroup for their first tour in 25 years for an outing they called Horns, Thorns En Halos. The Jane’s Addiction singer and Lollapalooza co-founder’s announcement included 21 dates. The tour would have run from Oct. 8 to Nov. 20.

Porno for Pyros formed in 1992 following Jane’s Addiction’s first split. The group released two studio albums, their 1993 self-titled debut and 1996’s Good God’s Urge. The band’s “Pets” was featured on their debut, and “Tahitian Moon” was on their sophomore release. They went on hiatus in 1998 and briefly reunited in 2009 for Farrell’s 50th birthday, and then again in 2020 for that year’s Lollapalooza YouTube show during the COVID-19 pandemic. The reunion tour would have followed a small handful of performances in 2022.

Megan’s Hotties know that wearing a pumpkin on her head has become a beloved October tradition. See her pumpkin photos from 2022 and 2021.

“Every October I look forward to Megan’s iconic pumpkin shenanigans,” one Instagram follower commented on Sunday, while another pointed out, “The hotties do spooky season the best.”

“My favorite time of year,” Meg captioned her 2023 pics in her Instagram Stories.

Megan has “Bongos” out with Cardi B now and is currently prepping new music, recently telling Billboard that “it’s definitely coming very soon. I’m really excited about this chapter of my life because I feel like I’m finally closing all the old chapters, and now I’m starting with a blank slate. Very fresh, very new. I think Thee Hotties are gonna be so excited. I’m trying different things.” She added, “Just expect the unexpected. Expect a lot of rawness, a lot of realness, a lot of s— talking. Another photo shows the twosome in a casual but stylish travel look: Bad Bunny sports oversized jeans, a white sweatshirt and sneakers, while Jenner rocks a Gucci monogram mini skirt, trench coat and black loafers.

According to People, Gucci’s Valigeria campaign “explores the intimacy of traveling together.” The Savoy collection features “emblematic pieces from the Gucci Savoy collection” known for its GG monogram and Web designs, per Gucci.

Jenner, 27, and Bad Bunny, 29, were first linked in February. They have yet to confirm dating rumors, but the Gucci campaign pretty much makes it official and marks their first time working together as a couple.

Bad Bunny opened up about his relationship status in a Vanity Fair interview last month. “They don’t know how you feel, they don’t know how you live, they don’t know anything, and I really don’t want them to know,” he said. “I’m not really interested in clarifying anything because I have no commitment to clarify anything to anyone. I am clear and my friend Jomar … and my mother is clear. They are the only ones to whom I have to clarify anything.”

Prior to the Gucci campaign, the twosome had been spotted out at basketball games, concerts and dinner dates. And they’ve already netted plenty of travel hours, including jetting off to Italy for a Gucci fashion show during Milan Fashion week.

The newest Gucci campaign features travel pieces available in different shapes, sizes and prints, including the GG Supreme Duffle and other duffle bags, suitcases and more available at Gucci.com.

Fans Choose Jung Kook & Jack Harlow’s ‘3D’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music

Jung Kook’s “3D,” featuring Jack Harlow, has topped this week’s new music poll.

Music fans voted in a poll published Friday (Sept. 29) on Billboard, choosing the team-up between the BTS member and Louisville rapper as their favorite new music release of the past week.

“3D” brought in 62% of the vote, beating out new music by *NSYNC (“Better Place”), Ed Sheeran (Autumn Variations), the Rolling Stones featuring Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder (“Sweet Sounds of Heaven”), PinkPantheress (“Mosquito”), and others.

“3D” is Jung Kook’s second solo single, following his Latto-assisted “Seven,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The K-pop star has yet to set a release date for a solo album, but he continues to drum up anticipation with “3D.” On the pop-R&B track, the vocalist recalls the solo material of 2000s-era Justin Timberlake, with its clicky rhythms and open spaces for intricate choreo. Meanwhile, Harlow flexes his skills with the ladies in the cheeky line, “I’m on my Jung Kook/ Take a chick off one look.”

Trailing behind “3D” on the poll is *NSYNC’s first track in more than 20 years, “Better Place,” which is set to appear in the new movie Trolls Band Together. The exciting reunion from ’90s boybanders brought in nearly 36% of the vote. Sheeran’s fall-themed Autumn Variations album placed third on the poll with almost 1% of the vote.

Lil Tay Breaks Silence After Death Hoax, Drops New ‘Sucker 4 Green’ Video: Watch

Lil Tay is making her return to music.

Nearly two months after her alleged death went viral, the 14-year-old rapper and internet personality returned on Saturday (Sept. 30) with a music video for her wealth-flaunting new dance song “Sucker 4 Green.”

“IM BACK,” Lil Tay captioned the video on Instagram. “YALL B—-ES THOUGHT THE SHOW WAS OVER.”

In the clip, the rapper-influencer expresses her love of money while dancing in revealing outfits on the balcony of a mansion and inside a garage full of luxury cars. The video ends with Lil Tay throwing cash into the air while standing alongside her mother, Angela Tian, and older brother, Jason Tian.

Prior to dropping the “Sucker 4 Green” visual, Lil Tay went on Instagram Live to speak out for the first time following news of her fake death. In early August, the viral star’s alleged passing was announced in a statement through her Instagram account, describing her death as “sudden and tragic.” The following day, Lil Tay shared a statement with TMZ saying that her account had been hacked “by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors.”

Saturday’s IG Live began with the rapper-influencer showing off her impressive piano skills and playing spot-on guitar covers of the Eagles’ “Hotel California” and Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.” From there, she blasted the media for publishing stories about her fake death without verifying the information.

“This proves how much the press did not give a f— about facts,” Lil Tay said. “They cared about slandering my name. They did not do any fact-checking.”

The viral star also blamed her father as being responsible for the social media death hoax.

“Chris Hope was the one that did the death hoax,” she said. “He was trying to sabotage me. Meanwhile, he was working with this other con artist that claimed to be my manager and they had a crypto coin together. Their plan was to fake my death and then promote the crypto coin… These people are frauds.”

Elsewhere in the live session, Lil Tay accused her dad and stepmother of physical and mental abuse.

“He is not the f—ing good guy here,” the rapper-influencer said. “He wanted control over my career and my money… Me and my family had to go through even more years of abuse through the court system because of him. But in the end, we won. I am free now and I thank God every day for it, I thank my mom for it. She spent all of her life savings in court.”

Earlier in the week, Hope denied those claims in a statement to TMZ. “Everything stated is 100% false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account,” her dad said.

Britney Spears Criticizes Police After Welfare Check Over Fake Knives Dance

Britney Spears is lashing out at police for conducting a welfare check after she shared a video of herself dancing at home with knives.

“Is it a joke in the news again with welfare checks??? Come on America … we cooler than that, right ??? The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people do 4 minute performances with them,” the pop star, 41, wrote on Instagram Saturday (Sept. 30).

Last week, Spears worried fans when she posted a clip on Instagram of herself dancing with what appeared to be two large kitchen knives. The concern prompted authorities to perform a wellness check on the singer, according to the Los Angeles Times. She later explained that the knives were fake and rented from a prop shop in L.A.

“I am getting an apology. I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now…ITS ENOUGH! Don’t talk about it, come on, let’s DO !!!” Spears continued.

The “Piece of Me” singer’s message, which featured a photo of a ballerina balancing on a pair of knives, also took aim at her mom, Lynne Spears.

“As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I’m in the wrong…nope it’s an old game. People need to be responsible for their actions!” she wrote.

Spears concluded her post, writing, “It’s about power for cops.”
