Porno for Pyros to Reschedule Reunion Tour Dates: ‘We’ve Pushed the Tour a Few Months’

Porno for Pyros postponed the tour that was scheduled to kick off next weekend, on Oct. 8.

“We are beyond thankful for all of your support these last 30 years, and are anxious to celebrate our 30th anniversary with you,” said a statement from the Perry Farrell-fronted band on Instagram Friday (Sept. 29). “Whilst rehearsing for our first tour in 25 years, we’ve also been in the studio creating new music – that we were hoping to get to you in time for these shows. Unfortunately, we have had to move the dates for the upcoming tour as we were not able to begin our campaign in time.”

“So, we’ve pushed the tour a few months from now, in order for everyone to hear and appreciate the new material that is finally finished. Listen up for the new music in the upcoming weeks and keep an eye out for new tour dates. We’re coming!” the update said.

In July, Farrell said that the band would regroup for their first tour in 25 years for an outing they called Horns, Thorns En Halos. The Jane’s Addiction singer and Lollapalooza co-founder’s announcement included 21 dates. The tour would have run from Oct. 8 to Nov. 20.

Porno for Pyros formed in 1992 following Jane’s Addiction’s first split. The group released two studio albums, their 1993 self-titled debut and 1996’s Good God’s Urge. The band’s “Pets” was featured on their debut, and “Tahitian Moon” was on their sophomore release. They went on hiatus in 1998 and briefly reunited in 2009 for Farrell’s 50th birthday, and then again in 2020 for that year’s Lollapalooza YouTube show during the COVID-19 pandemic. The reunion tour would have followed a small handful of performances in 2022.

The rapper casually posed for Instagram selfies on Sunday (Oct. 1). Her fit: a cozy space dye cardigan paired with a jack o’lantern covering her face.

Megan’s Hotties know that wearing a pumpkin on her head has become a beloved October tradition. See her pumpkin photos from 2022 and 2021.

“Every October I look forward to Megan’s iconic pumpkin shenanigans,” one Instagram follower commented on Sunday, while another pointed out, “The hotties do spooky season the best.”

“My favorite time of year,” Meg captioned her 2023 pics in her Instagram Stories.

Megan has “Bongos” out with Cardi B now and is currently prepping new music, recently telling Billboard that “it’s definitely coming very soon. I’m really excited about this chapter of my life because I feel like I’m finally closing all the old chapters, and now I’m starting with a blank slate. Very fresh, very new. I think Thee Hotties are gonna be so excited. I’m trying different things.” She added, “Just expect the unexpected. Expect a lot of rawness, a lot of realness, a lot of s— talking. Just know I’m coming and I hope everybody ready.”

Fans Choose Jung Kook & Jack Harlow’s ‘3D’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music

Jung Kook’s “3D,” featuring Jack Harlow, has topped this week’s new music poll.

Music fans voted in a poll published Friday (Sept. 29) on Billboard, choosing the team-up between the BTS member and Louisville rapper as their favorite new music release of the past week.

“3D” brought in 62% of the vote, beating out new music by *NSYNC (“Better Place”), Ed Sheeran (Autumn Variations), the Rolling Stones featuring Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder (“Sweet Sounds of Heaven”), PinkPantheress (“Mosquito”), and others.

“3D” is Jung Kook’s second solo single, following his Latto-assisted “Seven,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The K-pop star has yet to set a release date for a solo album, but he continues to drum up anticipation with “3D.” On the pop-R&B track, the vocalist recalls the solo material of 2000s-era Justin Timberlake, with its clicky rhythms and open spaces for intricate choreo. Meanwhile, Harlow flexes his skills with the ladies in the cheeky line, “I’m on my Jung Kook/ Take a chick off one look.”

Trailing behind “3D” on the poll is *NSYNC’s first track in more than 20 years, “Better Place,” which is set to appear in the new movie Trolls Band Together. The exciting reunion from ’90s boybanders brought in nearly 36% of the vote. Sheeran’s fall-themed Autumn Variations album placed third on the poll with almost 1% of the vote.

Lil Tay Breaks Silence After Death Hoax, Drops New ‘Sucker 4 Green’ Video: Watch

Lil Tay is making her return to music.

Nearly two months after her alleged death went viral, the 14-year-old rapper and internet personality returned on Saturday (Sept. 30) with a music video for her wealth-flaunting new dance song “Sucker 4 Green.”

“IM BACK,” Lil Tay captioned the video on Instagram. “YALL B—-ES THOUGHT THE SHOW WAS OVER.”

In the clip, the rapper-influencer expresses her love of money while dancing in revealing outfits on the balcony of a mansion and inside a garage full of luxury cars. The video ends with Lil Tay throwing cash into the air while standing alongside her mother, Angela Tian, and older brother, Jason Tian.

Prior to dropping the “Sucker 4 Green” visual, Lil Tay went on Instagram Live to speak out for the first time following news of her fake death. In early August, the viral star’s alleged passing was announced in a statement through her Instagram account, describing her death as “sudden and tragic.” The following day, Lil Tay shared a statement with TMZ saying that her account had been hacked “by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors.”

Saturday’s IG Live began with the rapper-influencer showing off her impressive piano skills and playing spot-on guitar covers of the Eagles’ “Hotel California” and Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.” From there, she blasted the media for publishing stories about her fake death without verifying the information.

“This proves how much the press did not give a f— about facts,” Lil Tay said. “They cared about slandering my name. They did not do any fact-checking.”

The viral star also blamed her father as being responsible for the social media death hoax.

“Chris Hope was the one that did the death hoax,” she said. “He was trying to sabotage me. Meanwhile, he was working with this other con artist that claimed to be my manager and they had a crypto coin together. Their plan was to fake my death and then promote the crypto coin… These people are frauds.”

Elsewhere in the live session, Lil Tay accused her dad and stepmother of physical and mental abuse.

“He is not the f—ing good guy here,” the rapper-influencer said. “He wanted control over my career and my money… Me and my family had to go through even more years of abuse through the court system because of him. But in the end, we won. I am free now and I thank God every day for it, I thank my mom for it. She spent all of her life savings in court.”

Earlier in the week, Hope denied those claims in a statement to TMZ. “Everything stated is 100% false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account,” her dad said.

Britney Spears Criticizes Police After Welfare Check Over Fake Knives Dance

Britney Spears is lashing out at police for conducting a welfare check after she shared a video of herself dancing at home with knives.

“Is it a joke in the news again with welfare checks??? Come on America … we cooler than that, right ??? The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people do 4 minute performances with them,” the pop star, 41, wrote on Instagram Saturday (Sept. 30).

Last week, Spears worried fans when she posted a clip on Instagram of herself dancing with what appeared to be two large kitchen knives. The concern prompted authorities to perform a wellness check on the singer, according to the Los Angeles Times. She later explained that the knives were fake and rented from a prop shop in L.A.

“I am getting an apology. I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now…ITS ENOUGH! Don’t talk about it, come on, let’s DO !!!” Spears continued.

The “Piece of Me” singer’s message, which featured a photo of a ballerina balancing on a pair of knives, also took aim at her mom, Lynne Spears.

“As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I’m in the wrong…nope it’s an old game. People need to be responsible for their actions!” she wrote.

Spears concluded her post, writing, “It’s about power for cops.”

Woman Who Fatally Shoved Broadway Coach Sentenced to More Prison Time Than Expected

A New York judge sentenced a woman who pleaded guilty to fatally shoving an 87-year-old Broadway singing coach onto a Manhattan sidewalk to six months more in prison than the eight years that had been previously reached in a plea deal.

During Friday’s (Sept. 29) sentencing of Lauren Pazienza for manslaughter, Manhattan state Supreme Court Judge Felicia Mennin said she was unconvinced that the 28-year-old Long Island woman took responsibility for her actions on March 10, 2022, when she pushed the vocal teacher, Barbara Maier Gustern, to the ground.

Gustern, whose students included Blondie singer Debbie Harry, lay bleeding on a sidewalk. She died five days later.

Pazienza pleaded guilty on Aug. 23. She could have been sentenced to 25 years had she been convicted during a trial.

Pazienza, a former event planner originally from Long Island, has been locked up at the city’s notorious Rikers Island jail complex since a judge revoked her bail in May 2022.

According to prosecutors, Pazienza attacked Gustern after storming out of a nearby park, where she and her fiance had been eating meals from a food cart.

Gustern had just left her apartment to catch a student’s performance after hosting a rehearsal for a cabaret show, friends told The New York Times.

Gustern’s grandson, A.J. Gustern of Colorado, called Pazienza’s apology “contrived.”

“I curse you, Lauren Pazienza,” he said as he read from a statement in court, Newsday reported. “For the rest of your days, may you be miserable.”

Pazienza encountered Gustern on West 23rd Street and shoved her to the ground in what police called “an unprovoked, senseless attack.”

Gustern worked with singers ranging from the cast members of the 2019 Broadway revival of the musical Oklahoma! to experimental theater artist and 2017 MacArthur “genius grant” recipient Taylor Mac, who told the Times she was “one of the great humans that I’ve encountered.”

Travis Kelce & Chiefs Trade Friendship Bracelets on TikTok Like They’re at a Taylor Swift Concert: Watch

The Kansas City Chiefs took part in a Swiftie-approved pre-game day activity this weekend: handing out friendship bracelets to each other. Amid all the chatter about tight end Travis Kelce’s possible romance with Taylor Swift, the Chiefs’ TikTok seemingly gave a nod toward where the maybe-couple’s courtship began on Saturday (Sept. 30).

“We’re all BFFs over here,” a caption on the Chiefs’ TikTok account says in the new friendship bracelet-themed post. The caption was topped off with the emoji that shows a smiling face surrounded by hearts.

In the TikTok clip, Kelce reacts to a bunch of friendship bracelets by throwing his head back and laughing before accepting one that spells out “Killa Trav.” “I know what these are all about,” he says, looking right at the camera.

Kelce has said that he tried to meet Swift and give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he saw her perform in Kansas City on The Eras Tour this summer, but it didn’t work out. “I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he admitted in an episode of his New Heights podcast, which he records with his brother Jason.

The New Heights podcast’s TikTok account left this comment on the Chief’s post on Saturday: “Nothing better than a good friendship bracelet.”

Fans of both the Chiefs and Swift seemed to enjoy the reference to The Eras Tour on TikTok, with some even noticing Travis Kelce doing a hand movement in the clip that’s similar to one of the pop star’s dance moves. “not the bejeweled hands,” one person commented with the crying-face emoji. “I love him.”

Last weekend, Swift, who was seated beside Kelce’s mother in a suite, very visibly cheered on the Chiefs during their game against the Chicago Bears, and left the stadium with Travis. She’s rumored to be attending the Chiefs-Jets game on Sunday (Oct. 1).

In a new NBC television commercial, Swift’s “Welcome to New York” is used as background pump-up music for clips promoting the Chiefs’ game against the New York Jets. Kelce is featured heavily throughout, and the official Sunday Night Football account tweeted that the clip was “Taylor Made for Sunday Night.” According to an NFL blog post, Swift’s team reportedly declined Fox Sports‘ request to use her music during the actual game last Sunday, “in conjunction with speculations on or about her private/personal/dating life.”

The Eras Tour friendship bracelet trend stems from a lyric from Swift’s Midnights track “You’re On Your Own, Kid”: “Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.” Swifties took that thought to heart and made trading friendship bracelets a fun part of their concert experience.

P!nk Reschedules Texas Concert Due to Illness: ‘I Am So Disappointed’

P!nk‘s Summer Carnival Tour hasn’t quite gone as planned in Texas. She had to kick out a concertgoer for making her show his platform to protest circumcision earlier this week in San Antonio, and on Friday (Sept. 29) she had to call off her concert in the Dallas area on doctor’s orders.

“Hi everyone. I’m very sorry to report that I have come down with a bad sinus infection, and the doctor advised me not to perform tonight. I am so disappointed,” P!nk wrote in a message on Instagram hours before that night’s show scheduled at Arlington’s Globe Life Field.

She added, “You know I do everything in my power to never miss a show.”

While some fans left comments of regret about traveling in for the concert, others were understanding that the singer’s health comes first. Fortunately, P!nk already has plans in place to make up for the canceled show.

“I will be rescheduling tonight’s show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX for Sunday November 26th of this year. All tickets will be honored, and it will be a phenomenal show. I hope to see you then, and again, am so deeply sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. It is never my intention. Sending you all love,” said P!nk.

Following the postponed concert date, P!nk is next scheduled to play a show in San Diego on Oct. 3.

Olivia Rodrigo Performs ‘If It Makes You Happy’ With Sheryl Crow, Debuts ‘Lacy’ & ‘Making the Bed’ Live

Six years before Olivia Rodrigo was born, Sheryl Crow‘s “If It Makes You Happy” was charting in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Decades later, the hit singer-songwriters got together at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe for a duet of Crow’s ’90s hit.

“pinch me! sang one of my favorite songs of all time with the greatest of all time @sherylcrow !!!! what an honor!!!!” Rodrigo wrote on Instagram, where she shared a photo with Crow and a video of their “If It Makes You Happy” performance, on Friday night (Sept. 29).

“Funnest day ever with the amazingly brilliant @oliviarodrigo! What a talent!! And the loveliest young woman!” Crow said, sharing Rodrigo’s post on her Instagram page.

A video shows the pair harmonizing on the chorus: “If it makes you happy/ It can’t be that bad/ If it makes you happy/ Then why the hell are you so sad?”

Rodrigo, guitar in hand, also performed the Guts ballad “Lacy” live for the first time during her appearance at the Bluebird Cafe, as well as the album’s lead single “Vampire” on piano. She also debuted “Making the Bed” (also from Guts) live on piano.

Crow and Rodrigo connected last year at Billboard‘s 2022 Women in Music event, where Rodrigo was presented Woman of the Year by Crow, who praised the example Rodrigo is setting for her generation of artists. “When I came up, women were struggling to be the architects of their own careers,” she said. “So when I see someone like our Woman of the Year Olivia Rodrigo having such incredible success at such an early age, I am blown away.”

“I am such a massive fan of you and your songwriting,” Rodrigo gushed at the time. She noted, “It’s not always easy being a young woman in the music industry, but I’ve found so much strength from the female songwriters who have come before me and paved the way and opened doors for so many young women like me.”

Donald Trump Shares His Thoughts in on Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce Rumored Romance

Donald Trump is giving his two cents on the rumored romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

During an interview with the Daily Caller, the former president was asked for his take on the possible romance between the pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

“I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not,” Trump said during the sit-down, which was published on Friday (Sept. 29).

Last weekend, Swift made waves when she attended the Chiefs’ football game against the Chicago Bears in light of her rumored romance with Kelce.

The NFL star’s ongoing courting of the “Anti-Hero” singer began in July, when he tried (and failed) to hand her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during her Eras tour stop in Kansas City. He then invited Swift to a football game, which she accepted on Sept. 24, when she shocked football fans and Swifties alike after cheering on the tight end from Kelce’s suite alongside his mom, Donna, as the team beat the Bears.

The pair also left the stadium together, as seen in a clip sports reporter Jarrett Payton shared on X. Kelce and Swift were then spotted riding off together in his convertible, according to photos acquired by TMZ.

NBC also used Swift’s “Welcome to New York” in a TV commercial promoting the Chiefs’ game against the New York Jets on Sunday (Oct. 1). The singer is rumored to be attending the game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
