Jung Kook Follows Up ‘3D’ With ‘3D: The Remixes’ EP Featuring Jack Harlow: Listen

BTS‘ Jung Kook continued the rollout of new solo material on Friday with the release of “3D (feat. Jack Harlow),” and now, ARMY has even more of the track to consume with a new remix EP, released on Monday (Oct. 2).

Titled 3D : The Remixes, the project contains four new renditions of the K-pop star’s single, including sped-up and slowed-down versions: “3D (feat. Jack Harlow) – A. G. Cook Remix,” “3D (feat. Jack Harlow) – Clean Ver.,” “3D (feat. Jack Harlow) – Sped Up” and “3D (feat. Jack Harlow) – Slowed Down.” The instrumental and solo versions of the track, released on Friday, are also featured on the EP.

The music video for the track — which arrived alongside the single Sept. 29 — features the BTS star playing a game of chess with the Kentucky native. “It was my first time seeing him,” Jung Kook told SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash of filming the visual. “I got to play chess with him because it was there as a prop for the music video.” Jung Kook also revealed that the game was, in fact, real and that he beat the rapper.

“3D” serves as the follow-up to Jung Kook’s first solo single, “Seven.” The track, which features Latto, made a splash on the Billboard charts, crowning the Billboard Hot 100 following its release and spending 10 weeks so far on the all-genre chart. The single additionally gave Jung Kook his first solo No. 1 on the tally, and marked Latto’s first No. 1 on the chart; her pervious and only top five charting single was “Big Energy,” which hit No. 3 on the Hot 100.

Olivia Rodrigo Covers Noah Kahan’s ‘Stick Season,’ Performs ‘Vampire’ & More on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge

Olivia Rodrigo has made her BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge debut, just in time for the season of the sticks.

Nearly a month out from the release of her sophomore album Guts, the 20-year-old pop star stopped by the Live Lounge Monday (Oct. 2) to sing three of her own songs, plus an autumnal cover of Noah Kahan‘s breakthrough hit “Stick Season.” Backed by her all-female band — complete with two acoustic guitars and one electric mandolin — Rodrigo temporarily transformed into a folk-pop singer for the three-minute performance.

“I love Vermont, but it’s the season of the sticks and I/ Saw your mom she forgot that I existed,” she sang. “It’s half my fault, but I just like to play the victim.”

“Is this real,” tweeted a shocked Kahan in response to the cover.

The Grammy winner also sang two tracks from Guts — lead single “Vampire” and pop-rock standout “Get Him Back!” And of course, she also had to wrap in the song that started it all: “Drivers License,” which she sang alone onstage while playing piano.

Rodrigo’s Live Lounge stop comes just a couple days after she gave two Guts deep cuts — “Lacy” and “Making The Bed” — a live debut at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, where she also performed “If It Makes You Happy” with Sheryl Crow herself. “pinch me! sang one of my favorite songs of all time with the greatest of all time @sherylcrow !!!! what an honor!!!!” Rodrigo wrote on Instagram afterward.

The BBC and Bluebird performances, as well as her recent concert on the TODAY show and an upcoming appearance at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball, will serve as good practice leading up to Rodrigo’s highly anticipated 2024 tour. The global trek will find the singer-songwriter playing arena-sized venues for the first time, making stops at famed venues such as New York City’s Madison Square Garden and The O2 in London.

Selena Gomez Joins Coldplay For Surprise ‘Let Somebody Go’ Live Performance

Selena Gomez surprised Coldplay fans at the band’s stadium gig at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on Sunday night (Oct. 1) when she joined the group for a run through their 2021 collaboration, “Let Somebody Go.”

“Thank you @coldplay @hermusicofficial for an amazing night,” Gomez wrote on in her Instagram Story, which featured other highlights from the run through the song that appeared on Coldplay’s ninth studio album, Music of the Spheres.

In footage of the moment on her Story, Gomez wandered out to the satellite stage to join singer Chris Martin at his electric piano, doubling his vocals as they sang, “All the storms we weathered, everything that we went through/ Now, without you, what on earth am I to do?/ When I called the mathematicians and I asked them to explain/ They said, ‘Love is only equal to the pain’,” joined halfway through by opening act H.E.R., who added harmonies while ripping off an electric guitar solo.

Gomez had previously joined Coldplay for the TV debut of the song on the Late Late Show with James Corden in Oct. 2021, shortly after the album’s release. The singer recently released her summer jam “Single Soon,” a song she told fans in an Instagram post was “a playful anthem about being comfortable in your own skin and loving your own company… and it’s also really fun to dance to!”; the track has so far peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Sophie Turner Attends Chiefs-Jets Game With Taylor Swift Amid Joe Jonas Divorce

Taylor Swift and Sophie Turner had their latest girls’ night out Sunday (Oct. 1), this time at the Chiefs-Jets game at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Joined by a group of the pop star’s close friends, the pair was cheering on Swift’s rumored romantic interest Travis Kelce in a box suite alongside Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Brittany Mahomes and more. The game marks one of several times Swift and the Game of Thrones star have hung out in the weeks since Turner’s split from husband Joe Jonas.

The two women have been spotted out to dinner in New York City a few times. And just one day ahead of Sunday’s game, Swift and Turner reportedly hit up an Italian restaurant in Nolita with Lively and Mahomes, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Turner has been spending a lot of time in New York recently, having reached a temporary agreement with Jonas to keep their two young daughters in town for the time being. Their filing — which stated that neither party is allowed to remove their daughters from the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, which includes New York City and Long Island — was a temporary truce in the lawsuit filed by the actress against Jonas, whom she claimed was preventing the girls’ return home to England with her. (He has since denied her allegations.)

Turner and Jonas first confirmed their pending divorce in early September, posting a joint statement on social media. “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” they wrote at the time. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Meanwhile, Swift has become the talk of the NFL thanks to her rumored romance with the Chiefs’ tight end. Her game-day hang with Turner came exactly a week after she first attended a Chiefs game in Kansas City, where she was spotted chatting with Kelce’s mother.

It’s a pairing that even twice-impeached former president Donald Trump weighed in on, telling an interviewer over the weekend, “I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not.”

Foo Fighters Announce Everything Or Nothing At All Summer 2024 U.S. Stadium Tour

The Foo Fighters will hit a run of U.S. stadiums next summer on their Everything or Nothing At All tour. The Dave Grohl-fronted band announced the dates for the 12-show string of 2024 gigs on Monday morning (Oct. 2), with the shows slated to kick-off on July 17 with the first of two shows at Citi Field in New York.

The outing hitting major league stadiums will then move on to legendary Fenway Park in Boston (July 21), before touching down at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA (July 23), Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati (July 25) and Minneapolis’ Target Field (July 28).

The tour — with a rotating group of support acts including The Pretenders, The Hives, Mammoth WVH, Amyl and the Sniffers, Alex G and L7 — will also include gigs in Denver, San Diego, Los Angeles and Portland before winding down on Aug. 18 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, WA. Tickets for the summer stadiums shows will go on sale on Friday (Oct. 6) at 10 a.m. local time; click here for information on pre-sales and ticketing.

The Foos have been on the road all summer in support of their 11th album, But Here We Are, with the new stadium shows marking their biggest headlining U.S. gigs announced so far. The Foos’ next scheduled show is on Tuesday (Oct. 3) at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, AZ, followed by a handful of other U.S. shows before the band heads to Dubai for the F1 Grand Prix Event on Nov. 26 and then shows in Australia and New Zealand from late November through late January 2024.

Ed Sheeran Drops ‘Autumn Variations (Fan Living Room Sessions)’ Bonus Album

Imagine if Ed Sheeran just showed up at your house and asked if he could play a show in your living room. Well, for 14 lucky Sheerios that is exactly what happened and now their jaw-on-the-floor reactions will be forever thanks to the Autumn Variations (Fan Living Room Sessions) album.

Sheeran has been teasing the companion piece to his just-released Autumn Variations album, and early Monday morning (Oct. 2) he revealed that the project is out now and that the videos for all 14 fan house visit/performances will debut at 1 p.m. ET today.

In the one-minute trailer, a weepy fan cannot believe Sheeran just showed up at her house amid footage of the singer popping up on front porches, acoustic guitar in tow, blowing minds, with one superfan revealing that she was told she was receiving “a package with some limited merch.”

“We have not limited merch,” Sheeran laughs while chilling on a couch as the Friends-inspired Variations song, “American Town,” plays in the background. The Fan Living Room album features the original’s 14 tracks, plus versions of each from the homes of fans named Kia, Alex, Sarom, Kari, Narine, Deborah, John, Emily, Holly, Kristen, Danilelle and Keira; each performance was recorded during dates on Sheeran’s just-completed North American leg of his Mathematics Tour.

Sheeran has pledged a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the two versions of the Variations album purchased from his webstore to the music education non-profit Save the Music. While all the Living Room songs will be accompanied by vidoes, Sheeran announced last week that he will not release any singles or videos from the proper Variations studio album.

“Each record before I’ve done, like, all the big going in and doing all these radio interviews, and going on the late-night shows, and doing, doing all this stuff. And this record, there’s not even a single for it. There’s not, there’s not a music video. I’m just putting it out,” Sheeran told CBS Mornings the day the set dropped.

BTS’ Suga Begins South Korean Military Service: ‘See You All in 2025!’

BTS‘ Suga is in the army. The K-pop superstar recently became the latest member of the group to begin mandatory South Korean military service and before taking off he shared a touching note with ARMY.

“I was able to come this far thanks to you. And the time has come. I will faithfully complete my duty and come back,” Suga wrote in a message to fans on Weverse, according to the Yonhap News Agency. “Be careful of the chilly autumn weather. Stay healthy and see you all in 2025.”

The news agency also noted that unlike bandmates Jin and J-Hope, Suga has reportedly been ruled unfit for combat duty for undisclosed reasons and will instead serve as a social service agent; BIGHIT Music previously announced that Suga was slated to report for duty on Sept. 22.

In a note to fans before Suga’s report for duty, BIGHIT explained, “There will not be any official events taking place on the day he starts his service or on the day he enters the training camp. We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting SUGA at his workplace during the period of his service. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts only… We ask for your continued love and support for SUGA until he completes his service and returns. Our company will also strive to provide all the support he needs during this time.”

BIGHIT first revealed in October 2022 that BTS — Suga, RM, V, Jin, Jung Kook, J-Hope and Jimin — would not be able to perform together as a group until 2025 due to their mandated military service. Jin was first to enlist, followed by J-Hope and now Suga.

BIGHIT recently announced that it had renewed contracts with all seven members. “The members who are currently serving in the military will have completed their military duty by the start of the renewed exclusive contract period in 2025,” the company said in a statement.

Beyoncé Drops Trailer for ‘Renaissance’ Concert Movie

Beyoncé is going to the movies. The singer debuted the trailer for her upcoming concert documentary, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, on Sunday night (Oct. 1) during the final stop on her Renaissance World Tour in Kansas City, MO.

“When I am performing, I am nothing but free,” Bey says in voiceover at the outset of the two-minute trailer. The clip opens with the singer casually walking to stage while flashing a peace sign, stretching pre-show with her kids — including rehearsing with back up dancer/eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter — and having a cocktail in the green room.

The two hour and thirty minute unrated film is due to hit screens in the U.S., Canada and Mexico on Dec. 1, with more global dates to be announced later. The singer captioned an Instagram post featuring the trailer with the cheeky warning, “Be careful what you ask for, ’cause I just might comply.”

The official description of the movie says that it: “accentuates the journey of RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR,, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri. It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft. Received with extraordinary acclaim by International and U.S. media alike, Beyoncé’s outstanding performance during Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for freedom, acceptance, and shared joy. Its maximalist production welcomed more than 2.7 million fans from around the world, who travelled across oceans to enjoy Club Renaissance. Now, millions of moviegoers will get caught up in the Joy Parade, the monumental dance party that celebrates everyone’s right to be themselves, close to home.”

The trailer hints at the joy, hard work and glamour of life on the road with Bey, from shots of her wearing a surgical mask while looking ill, to one in which the singer struts in a leather designer outfit to a waiting helicopter while explaining, “my goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free… and no one is judged.” Husband and No. 1 fan, Jay-Z, makes a cameo as well, pumping his fist and smiling from the crowd amid glimpses of the massive stage production, mind-bending costume and lighting effects and the couple’s twins, Rumi and Sir.

The Renaissance tour is Beyoncé’s biggest to date, with grosses expected to cross the $550 million mark. Tickets for the movie — priced at $22 — are on sale now, with Deadline reporting that AMC is releasing the film in partnership with Beyoncé’s film production company and record label, Parkwood Entertainment. Like Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour concert film, AMC will run the Renaissance movie on the weekends (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for at least four weeks.

Bey’s movie follows on the heels of her 2019 Netflix doc Homecoming, which chronicled the singer’s 2018 Coachella headlining set, as well as her 2013 HBO movie, Life Is But a Dream, a hybrid live performance and video diary project, and her 2009 I Am… Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas.

Taylor Swift fans were not amused by NBC Sunday night (Oct. 1). Mid-game — when the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets were tied 20-20 — the camera once again made its way to Swift, who was there with a group of celeb friends to support her rumored romantic partner, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Swift has provided some wildly fun reactions to the Chiefs’ touchdowns this weekend and last, and seemed to be enjoying herself Sunday. But at this point of the game, she looked stressed.

Cue a shot of … the “Cornelia St.” sign? “Cornelia Street” is subjectively one of Swift’s saddest songs, which she penned about the time she rented a place on New York City’s Cornelia Street, and how she was “so terrified of if you ever walk away, I’d never walk Cornelia Street again.”

“And I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends/ I’d never walk Cornelia Street again,” Swift sings in the chorus. “That’s the kind of heartbreak time could never mend. I’d never walk Cornelia Street again.”

“Cornelia Street,” which appears on 2019’s Lover, is widely assumed to be inspired by the early days of her long-term relationship with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Swift dated the actor for six years before parting ways earlier this year, with sources noting that “the relationship had just run its course.”

Now that she’s being linked to Travis Kelce — regularly showing up at his games to cheer him on, and hanging out with his mom — seeing a random shot of the actual “Cornelia St.” sign before a commercial break Sunday night startled fans.

“What’s up with the cut to Cornelia st,” one tweeted with the “dead” emoji.

Another fan pointed out in a tweet: “BRO WHY DID THEY JUST SHOW CORNELIA ST????!? READ THE ROOM.”

“THEY DID NOT JUST SHOW TAYLOR AND THEN CORNELIA ST I CANT,” another wrote, while someone else said, “NOT CORNELIA ST I FEEL SICK.”

“Showing Cornelia St wasn’t the Easter egg they thought it was,” another added.

“That dissolve transition to the Cornelia St sign is VILE,” one fan tweeted.

Swift’s night at the game marks the second public appearance/football date where the 1989 hitmaker showed support for the Chiefs’ No. 87.

Swift’s guests at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Sunday included plenty of star power: The pop icon was accompanied by friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. She was seen hugging Sabrina Carpenter as she entered the stadium. Hugh Jackman was also spotted. (Swift and Lively were also photographed arriving together at a dinner in New York City the night before.)

“Welcome to New York, it’s been waiting for you,” the official NFL account tweeted to Swift on X before the game began, sharing a clip of her greeting others at the stadium. They continued to share clips of Swift enjoying herself throughout the night, and caught her reaction to a touchdown.

Last Sunday (Sept. 24) in Kansas City, Swift also showed up for Kelce, going wild when he scored a touchdown. “Let’s f—ing go!” she was seen on camera calling out as she cheered alongside Mama Kelce; Fox Sports‘ coverage cut to Swift frequently that night. Travis and Taylor were seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium and riding off together in a getaway car, according to photos acquired by TMZ, and they attended an afterparty.

NBC used Swift’s “Welcome to New York” in a TV commercial earlier this week to promote the Chiefs’ vs. Jets game.
