The powerhouse couple stars in the popular fast food restaurant’s new Super Bowl LVII commercial on Sunday (Feb. 12) dedicated to a true sign of love in a relationship, which, of course, is knowing each other’s McDonald’s order.
“I think we’ve been to McDonald’s 200 million times,” Cardi tells Billboard of why her and Offset’s partnership with the restaurant was such a natural fit, noting that the duo have “different taste palates,” with the “I Like It” rapper feeling a bit more adventurous when it comes to cuisine and the Migos rapper opting to keep it simple.
“That’s the thing about McDonald’s is that we both eat it,” Cardi shares with a laugh. “I might suggest a different restaurant and if we get to the restaurant and the menu’s a little weird and Offset doesn’t like the food, he just looks at me.”
Offset then chimes in, “I’m a Plain Jane type of guy. I don’t like to do too much. I’m also a texture type of guy. I don’t like slimy food like oysters and stuff like that. It’s all in my head and it just tastes nasty automatically.”
As a result, the duo have created their own Cardi B & Offset Meal at McD’s, which includes a blend of each of their go-to menu items plus their favorites to split on date night. The meal is perfect for sharing with your loved one, best friend or anyone who means a lot to you.
In Cardi B’s section of the meal, fans will get a classic McDonald’s cheeseburger, paired with tangy BBQ sauce and a large Coca-Cola. Offset’s meal, meanwhile, has a Quarter Pounder with cheese and a large Hi-C Orange Lavaburst juice. To top things off, the meal comes with a large order of french fries and a flakey apple pie to share. The meal will be available starting, fittingly, on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) and will be served in cute packaging inspired by the season of love.

And, yes, Cardi and Offset even weighed in on the age-old debate about whether or not they like to share their fries. “As a man, you got your girl, you better share them fries, boy,” Offset warns his fellow men out there.
Cardi, however, feels differently. “I’m not even going to lie to you. Offset is nice to share his fries, but I don’t like to share my fries with him. I don’t care!” she explains. “When I share my fries, it’s not like he takes two or three fries. He takes 10 fries at a time. That bothers me. I don’t care. I’mma say it. I’m not sharing my fries!”
Despite their differing opinions on the etiquette surrounding french fries, Cardi and Offset’s bond is as strong as ever, which they attribute to being honest and having open communication. “We’ve been through a lot with each other,” Offset shares. “Some people in Hollywood live through Hollywood, but we live through each other and keep our stuff at home good. We go through ups and downs at home but have a great support system. Everybody listens to each other and have each other’s back. At the end of the day, our mission is to be successful and take care of the family.”
He also makes sure that no matter what he has going on, he will always make time to hang out with his wife and the couple’s two kids, four-year-old daughter Kulture and one-year-old son Wave. “I got to be with my baby. I can’t go too long without her,” the rapper says of Cardi. “If I have to travel and jump on a jet just to get back home, I will. We got the kids at home. That’s why we’re always together. We have to make sure they’re good, because we don’t want to be the parents who are always missing from their kids. We work and come right back home, because it’s really important.”

It’s been two months since the tragic passing of beloved Migos member, Takeoff, and in that time a few of his peers have dropped some tribute songs. Now Migos brethren and actual uncle Quavo has released his own heartfelt and heart wrenching song “Without You” in honor of his younger nephew.
For the lyric video to the song, Quavo simply sits in a studio chair and puffs on some smoke as the song plays, and truth be told, it’s as effective as it is moving. Opening the song with straight from the heart bars, Quavo states what many of their fans knew he’d be feeling when he started it off with “Tears rollin’ down my eyes / Can’t tell you how many times I cried / Days ain’t the same without you / I don’t know if I’m the same without you…”
Going on to reminisce about the good times they spent together, Quavo uses his time to pay homage to his fallen family member while expressing his pain with lines like “I miss how how you smile at me
Unc & Phew until infinity.” We can’t even imagine how painful it must’ve been for Quavo to write and record this track.
As heartbreaking as it is moving, “Without You” will definitely be getting burn by Migos fans who still feel the pain of the loss of Takeoff.

The man alleged to have shot and killed Migos member Takeoff last November is now out of jail thanks to a hefty bond being posted.
According to reports, Patrick Xavier Clark was released from the Harris County jail on Wednesday (Jan. 4). His bond was set at $1 million. Clark is set to appear back in court March 9 to stand trial for the murder of Kirshnik Khari Ball, aka Takeoff, one-third of the Atlanta, Grammy Award-nominated group Migos.
The 33-year-old had initially received a bond of $2 million after his arrest by law enforcement Dec. 1. Clark’s lawyers, Letitia Quinones and Carl Moore argued that the bond amount was excessive and unconstitutional. Under the law in Texas, bond amounts are set to ensure that defendants make their date in court and not to confine them unnecessarily if they’re unable to financially post bail. Clark had also surrendered his passport, no longer making him a flight risk.
The conditions of Clark’s release according to court records stipulate that he remains on house arrest. He’s also mandated to wear a GPS monitor to track his movements and cannot have any contact with individuals involved with the shooting investigation. This includes veteran music executive J Prince and his family, along with the family of Takeoff. He is also barred from possessing deadly weapons.
Clark was arrested after Houston police determined he was the prime suspect due to surveillance footage from that night as well as other evidence including his fingerprints that were found on a bottle at the scene. The allegation against Clark is that he pulled out a gun and fired after an argument over a dice game that fellow Migos member (and Takeoff’s uncle) Quavo was involved in outside of a bowling alley. Takeoff was struck in the head and torso and died at the scene, with police deeming him an innocent bystander.
Cardi B and Offset are having a blast in Jamaica in celebration of the Migos rapper’s 31st birthday on Wednesday (Dec. 14), and the superstar couple have been documenting their adventures and activities on Instagram.

On Thursday (Dec. 15), Offset shared a hilariously NSFW photo in which he and the “I Like It” rapper are seen standing in front of a waterfall, with Cardi bent over in front of her husband in a suggestive pose. “Happy birthday to me,” he simply captioned the picture.
The “WAP” rapper, meanwhile, posted a touching tribute to her husband of five years to Instagram, and shared lots of videos of how the couple commemorated his day by hitting the beach and partying in Jamaica. “Happy birthday my love,” Cardi wrote, posting a reel of photos of Offset. “I pray silently and I pray loudly on this post that God bless you & protect you.”
“Thank you for your love to me,” she added. “I love your 4ever & beyond.”
The festivities come just a month and a half after Takeoff, Offset’s cousin and former Migos bandmate, was shot and killed Nov. 1 at a bowling alley in the Houston area. Offset was present alongside Quavo, the third member of the Migos trio and Takeoff’s uncle, at Takeoff’s celebration of life ceremony on Nov. 11.
Cardi B paid a subtle tribute to the late Takeoff on Thursday (Nov. 3) by retweeting a video shared by Complex, in which Migos talk about how much they mean to each other.

In the clip, Cardi’s husband Offset says that the best gift he ever got was his “brothers,” Takeoff and Quavo. “None of us would be here without each other,” he said. “We help each other up through hard times, through good times. I don’t know nothing else.”

The 28-year-old rapper— who was one third Migos alongside his uncle, Quavo, and cousin, Offset — was at a private party at 810 Billiards & Bowling in downtown Houston with Quavo around 2:35 a.m. when investigators say shots rang out during an afterparty attended by around 40 people. Takeoff was pronounced dead at the scene, and two other victims — a 23-year-old male and 24-year-old female — checked themselves into a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday (Nov. 2), the Harris County coroner’s office confirmed to Billboard that the late star’s primary cause of death was “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm.”
Offset also honored Takeoff in a subtle but powerful way. The “54321” rapper changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of the latter grinning wearing dark sunglasses. A small white heart emoji is pasted onto the photo’s top right edge.
The group released four studio albums together, the last of which was Culture III in 2021. In the months leading up to Takeoff’s death, however, many suspected that Migos was headed toward disbandment due to Offset seemingly turning his focus to solo projects, as Takeoff and Quavo worked on Unc & Phew.

During a press conference, the city’s police chief, mayor and homicide investigation committee noted that much of the situation is currently under investigation, and urged witnesses to come forward with any information to help authorities solve the case. “Anyone who has information on the shooter, let us bring justice to this family,” Mayor Sylvester Turner added during the conference. “We will solve this case. We will find the shooter.”
Following the devastating news, Migos’ label Quality Control Music, took to Instagram to mourn Takeoff’s death. “It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved brother Kirsnick Khari Ball, known to the world as Takeoff,” a statement posted to the label’s social media reads. “Senseless violence and a stray bullet has taken another life from this world and we are devastated.”
The statement concluded by asking fans to “respect his family and friends as we all continue to process this monumental loss.” The post was captioned with a dove and broken heart emoji.
The late Takeoff, who died on Tuesday (Nov. 1), at age 28, shaped an entire chapter and sound of hip-hop as one-third of the rap group Migos. The rapper, born Kirshnik Ball, formed the trio near Atlanta with Offset, his cousin, and Quavo, his uncle, and began recording in the early 2010s. Migos made its first Billboard chart appearance in July 2013, as “Versace” debuted on a handful of sales and airplay charts. From there, the trio established itself as one of hip-hop’s most popular acts, with multiple top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 — Culture in 2017 and its follow-up, Culture II — the next year.
Though Migos was on an “indefinite hiatus,” per Rolling Stone in an October interview, Takeoff and Quavo teamed up for a 2022 album, Only Built for Infinity Links, released Oct. 7. The set became yet another top 10 success on the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 7, and debuted at No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums list.

Offset didn’t stop there, though. A video released on Twitter shows him gifting Cardi not just any watch, but a rare Richard Mille watch. The expensive gift comes on the heels of their baby Kulture receiving a 500k Richard Mille watch just months ago, in July.
Cardi celebrated her birthday with a burlesque-themed function hosted at Poppy Nightclub in Los Angeles. The rapper shared an Instagram Story of herself in a rose-red burlesque gown, seemingly captured before taking on her dirty thirty.
Her soiree was nothing short of star-studded. Chance The Rapper, Ice Spice, GloRilla, Jamie Foxx, and Chloe & Halle Bailey were just a few of the celebrities in attendance.
While it seems like everything’s swell in Cardi B and Offset’s relationship, the extravagant gifts follow cheating rumors for the couple. His former collaborators Quavo and Takeoff recently released a debut album as a duo, Only Built for Infinity Links. The album’s song “Messy” features some questionable lyrics from Quavo.
“B—- f—ed my dawg behind my back, but I ain’t stressin’ (Not at all)/You wanted the gang, you shoulda just said it, we would have blessed it (You shoulda just said it)/Now s— got messy (Uh),” raps Quavo. Many believe the lyrics allude to an affair between Quavo’s ex-girlfriend Saweetie and his cousin, Offset.
