Finesse2tymes and Offset haven’t been seeing eye to eye lately.
Backstage at Lil Weezyana Festival, 2Tymes had to hop on FaceTime to get some straightening. A clip surfaced online of the former Migos rapper telling Finesse he’s noticed shade being thrown his way and wasn’t feeling it. The Memphis rapper shut it down, denying that he ever took any shots at Set.
Rewinding to earlier in the month, the Back End rapper referred to Cardi B’s new boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, as “that n*gga that hit Offset’s b*tch.” SMH…
He added that he wouldn’t bring any of his girlfriends around Diggs, implying that he is the new Mr. Steal Your Girl. The Clout rapper didn’t bite his tongue and clapped back at Finesse, saying, “What I look like beefing with a BBL?” Keeping the savagery going, the Finesse dropped another video captioned, “Offset a h0 meet up.”
Telling the ATL rapper not to get mad at him but get mad at the “football player.” Referring to his ex-Cardi B’s new man, Diggs. Adding, “Don’t get mad at me n*gga get mad at that football player sticking that football in that h*e.” Offset quickly commented a gang of laughing emojis under the video.
He also took the time to send his last (we hope) messages to 2Tymes on his IG story, saying, “All y’all n*ggas think it’s sweet till n*ggas spank you then don’t call the police.”
Hopefully, there is no “spanking,” and the two rappers can come to a common ground.

Offset has not taken his foot off the gas one bit.
The ATL rapper dropped a surprise album, “HAUNTED BY FAME,” on Halloween. Following the positive reviews of his collaborative record with JID on “Bodies”, this adds to a great year the former Migos artist is having. The project holds three features, one of which is from NBA YoungBoy, for whom Set has been on the MASA tour, opening up for him.
YB & Offset have collaborated in the past. With arguably YoungBoy’s best feature on the Migos record, “Need It”. The other feature was a shocker and the first time that NoCap and Offset have worked together. Strange combo, but it worked.
Leading up to this surprise release, Offset’s ex-wife Cardi B was in her bag, dropping her long-awaited sophomore album, “AM I THE DRAMA?” Which led to the Set It Off rapper to show her love and give her ex her well-deserved flowers, “For sure, the sh*t hard, she’s gonna do her big one. I just want all peace, we all gotta win, we got our kids to take care of.”
Fast forward to “HAUNTED BY FAME”, it seems as though he may have had a change of heart. Offset appears to have taken some shots at Bardi on his song, “NO SWEAT”, requesting his ex to get some help, “You a fool if you think that I’m hurt, you ain’t happy I know how it work. How you married and still giving birth? Get some help, b*tch, you goin’ berserk.”
The Bodak Yellow rapper has not responded (yet).

Quavo came back to his hometown of Atlanta to host the second Rocket Summit, an event focused on fighting gun violence in local communities.
The summit took place at the College Football Hall of Fame and was organized by Quavo and The Rocket Foundation to honor his late nephew and Migos member, Takeoff, who passed away in 2022. The event also happened during Gun Violence Prevention Month, making it even more meaningful.
The Rocket Summit brought together community leaders, young people, survivors of violence, and activists to talk about ways to make neighborhoods safer. The day started with a special lunch for VIPs, then continued with panels and smaller group sessions where everyone could share ideas on how to reduce violence.
One of the main discussions, called “The Urgency of Now,” included experts from groups like Cities United and Moms Demand Action. They talked about why it’s important to invest time and resources into programs that help stop violence before it starts. Another panel, “We Are the Change,” featured local leaders who shared their personal experiences and explained how being connected to the community helps them find solutions.
During the smaller breakout sessions, participants talked about different topics like how to get youth involved, support people with legal issues, and push for changes in laws. There were also mental health resources available for anyone who needed them.
The day ended with a heartfelt talk between Quavo and podcast hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. Quavo stressed how important healing and kindness are when dealing with gun violence. The Rocket Summit is not only helping communities come together to create change but also is a special way for Quavo to honor Takeoff’s memory by working to make Atlanta safer for everyone.

Quavo has officially announced the release of a posthumous collaboration with his late nephew and Migos groupmate, TakeOff.
The track, titled “Dope Boy Phone,” is set to drop on May 2 and marks an emotional moment for fans still mourning the tragic loss of TakeOff. A teaser clip shared online shows Quavo in the studio methodically placing several burner phones into a tray before wrapping them up—a symbolic gesture that doubles as the song’s official cover art.
TakeOff, whose real name was Kirshnik Ball, was killed in a shooting outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas, on November 1, 2022. The incident occurred following a dice game that escalated into violence. At just 28 years old, TakeOff was pronounced dead at the scene. Quavo, who was present during the altercation, escaped physical harm, though two others sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to nearby hospitals.
“Dope Boy Phone” not only serves as a tribute to TakeOff’s legacy but also highlights Quavo’s continued efforts to honor his late nephew through music. The upcoming release is expected to blend their signature Atlanta sound with a deeper emotional resonance, reflecting both loss and loyalty. Fans of Migos and Hip-Hop alike are eagerly awaiting the track, which stands as another poignant reminder of TakeOff’s talent and the deep bond he shared with Quavo.
As anticipation builds, the single is likely to stir strong emotions and further cement TakeOff’s enduring influence on the genre.

Offset just shook things up by announcing a show in Moscow, even though his label’s parent company, Universal Music Group (UMG), cut ties with Russia back in 2022 after the country invaded Ukraine.
The Atlanta rapper hopped on his IG Story to drop the news—he’s hitting the stage at MTC Live Hall on April 18. UMG made it clear where they stand when they shut down their offices and pulled all business from Russia, saying they’re sticking to international sanctions and helping with humanitarian aid for Ukrainian refugees. They kept it solid, refusing to work in the country while the war was still going on.
Now, Offset’s move got people talking. Is he going against UMG, or is he doing his own thing outside the label? Most Western artists have stayed away from Russia since the war popped off, so this show is a bold move. Offset hasn’t said anything about the political side of it—he’s just focused on performing. But pulling up to Moscow while the rest of the industry keeps its distance? That’s bound to turn some heads. Whether this show goes down without a hitch or stirs up some drama, one thing’s for sure—Offset is making his own rules
Prior to this, Offset was also in the news for his very public divorce from Cardi B. Their split was messy, with cheating rumors flying on both sides, but after all the drama, things have quieted down. Fans were left wondering what was next for the “Bad and Boujee” rapper, especially with all the attention they got during their rollercoaster relationship. Recently, Cardi was spotted out with NFL star Stefon Diggs, and of course, people are talking. The two were seen together, sparking rumors that they might be more than just friends.

Fans of the late rapper Takeoff were stunned after seeing the MC come to life in an impressive wax figure.
During an interview with Cleveland’s Z107.9, Mr. Officials revealed the project took seven months to complete and the cost of the immaculate project, was upwards of $100,000. The sculptor said despite his urge to re-invest his money into his personal needs, he leaned into God’s voice.
Mr.Officials.LLC shared the heartfelt story behind the work of art and why it also signified “new beginnings.”
“I haven’t posted in a while and here’s why,” the narration of the Takeoff video begins. “I’m grieving and I’m mourning and I didn’t even know it. Some of you may or may not notice that I’m closing my business after three years. I’m losing my car, it’s on its last wheel. I’m driving a 14-year-old car and I soon won’t have that. I’ll be homeless if all goes well. Now before you begin to feel sorry for me, I’m okay. My gift will make room for me because it always has, and even with all my losses I still believe that this is my year.”
“I’ve heard God say over and over, ‘Finish what you started,’” the narration continued. “So I thought well maybe I could finish some sculptures. I could finish working on some projects that I started on, but it’s way too expensive and like I said, I need a new car. He kept saying to me, ‘This is not about you. Your gift is to inspire. Finish what you started.’ So, as I continued to finish working on projects, I began to grieve and mourn the individuals that I was working on. Crying while creating, this young man I’ve been working on is deceased, and yet I still feel a sense to pray for him.
The behind-the-scenes video concluded with the lesson Mr. Officials felt was behind it all, the push to keep going.
“Praying for his soul, praying for his family, friends, and band members. That’s when it hit me. This will be the year that I take off. God was using me in the life and legacy of the late rapper Takeoff to let me know that he has not forgotten about me. And what’s funny is this isn’t even my prayer. My prayer is not to have a new house, or a new car or a new business. My prayer is for this to be your year of Takeoff. Your job will go to another level. Your marriage will go to another level. Even your finances and health will increase. I believe that this will be the year to Takeoff,” the narration concluded.
This isn’t the first time Mr. Officials has gone viral, in 2022 he set the internet ablaze for creating a life-size wax figure for the late Nipsey Hussle that took him nine months to finish.
The wax figure comes over a year after the artist was tragically gunned down in downtown Houston. Takeoff, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, was tragically shot and killed during an altercation in Houston in 2022. He was 28 years old. Patrick Clark was arrested and charged with the shooting last year but was released from jail on a $1 million bond.

It seems like Offset is no longer at odds with his recording home. He has dismissed his lawsuit against Quality Control Music.
As spotted on Variety Magazine the Lawrenceville, Georgia native is moving on from his legal woes concerning his solo work. Back in April it was revealed that the Migos member was trying to regain the ownership to his master recordings. TMZ reported that in 2013 he signed a contract with QC to produce solo albums. But in 2015 the record label signed a new distribution deal with Capitol Records that in turn reverted ownership of his solo works back to Quality Control. Naturally, Offset felt that the move violated the original 2013 terms thus he took the record company to court.
On Friday, August 4 Offset’s legal team requested the lawsuit be dismissed with prejudice. Neither Quality Control or representatives for the “Slipper” rapper have yet to publicly comment on the recent news. Back in May Offset spoke to Variety Magazine for their cover story and he discussed the situation. “This is me going full-fledged into my solo career,” he explained. “The objective is to do it fully and smash sh*t and f*** the game up as a solo artist. I’m coming through, bustin’ through the door. It’s all set, my next chapter. It’s my time.”
Most recently Offset released his new single “Jealousy” with his wife Cardi B. You can watch the video below.

Family ties are hard to break. Offset says that reuniting with Quavo at the BET Awards cleared his soul.
As spotted on Deadline the remaining Migos members came together in honor of their fallen bandmate. The performance came to many as a shock as it had been previously reported that the two were not seeing eye to eye after Takeoff was killed in Houston, Texas on November 1, 2022. He recently did an Instagram Live where he discussed being on stage with Quavo since tragic incident. “I love all my fans. I love y’all. We did a BET performance, man. It was iconic, man,” he said. “It cleared my soul. Me and my brother, Quay, man, we put that together within, like, 16 hours, like, 15 hours… We do that ’cause we’re some real stars.”
He went on to further express his pride. “We do this music. We the greatest group to ever touch the mic. RIP my brother, Take. We did it for my brother, Take. Me and Quay stood tall, brother to brother. And I appreciate everybody for supporting. It was a movie, it was a vibe. We needed that for the culture.” Offset also took the time to give his saviour above all the credit. “Thank God for that moment,” he added. “And like I said, RIP to Take. Y’all know how we coming about my brother. And we did it for Take. That’s our legacy. Migos forever. The greatest group to ever do it.”

Offset doesn’t mince his words when it comes to his wife. He recently shared a clip of him appreciating Cardi B’s ample backside.
As spotted on Page Six the “Ric Flair Drip” rapper missed his better half in a major way. This week he reunited with her and made it clear that he is a very lucky man. He shared a not safe for work clip of her laying down on a bed while his hand went to her backside. He proceeded to pull down her pants and massage her signature assets in all their glory. Naturally Bardi felt the love and responded “You happy to see me?” to which he responded “Yes, I miss you so much.”
As expected Offset’s share drew both support and criticism with some questioning his respect for Cardi. “I don’t get s—t like this at all, u want the whole world to see ur lady like that??????” one user commented. Another follower called out that the move was in poor taste given they have kids saying “What happened to dignity & self-respect?”. While Cardi and Offset seem to be on great terms it seems his relationship with his recording home Quality Control Music is not. Recently it was revealed that he has been in a legal battle to retain his masters.
On Monday, April 3 he took to social media to preview a new untitled song which seemed to address his challenges with his recording home. “They can’t be too upset / I could of kept it to myself, they can’t be too upset / I done broke bread, cut checks, they can’t be too upset / I took that rope off my neck, they couldn’t be too upset / N****s still bite my style, they can’t be too upset / I done laid low for a while, they can’t be that upset / N****s lost all my respect, they can’t be that upset” he rapped.

Offset and Quavo apparently can no longer relate; figuratively and literally. It has confirmed that the two were never related at all.
As spotted on HipHopDX the flamboyant talent recently conducted an in depth interview with entertainment magazine Variety. The “Deadz” rapper gave the publication some much needed updates regarding his future plans, being a family man and more. He went on to discuss his forthcoming sophomore solo album saying “I really wanted to drop the album like two years ago, but it wasn’t time. I had to master who I was, and I got it now.” He went on to detail his vision for this effort. “This is me going full-fledged into my solo career,” he explained. “The objective is to do it fully and smash sh*t and f*** the game up as a solo artist. I’m coming through, busting through the door. It’s all set, my next chapter. It’s my time.” He also confirmed the album features his last song ever recorded with Takeoff.
But when it comes to his career he was very tight lipped about his recording home as he did not want to speak out of turn as he is in litigation with Quality Control Music. A surprise that did come out of this exclusive Q&A is that he and bandmate Quavo are not related. “He was classmates with Quavo — the third member of Migos — and began hanging out with him and Takeoff when Offset was in the sixth grade,” the article reads. “While Quavo was Takeoff’s uncle, the two were just three years apart in age, and although Offset is often referred to as Quavo’s cousin, they are actually not biologically related.”
Offset did not confirm the release date for the new project but it is expected later this year via Capitol Music Group. You can read the interview here.
