Machine Gun Kelly has opened up about his struggle with addiction, revealing how a confronting conversation with his 15-year-old daughter, Casie, pushed him to get sober.

On the Sunday, Aug. 18 episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, MGK (real name Colson Baker) recalled the moment that changed everything.

“It started with my daughter saying, ‘Dad, you know I can tell when you’re high?’ It broke my heart,” the “Emo Girl” singer shared. Casie was just 11 or 12 years old at the time. “It was the ultimate letdown.”

“It took me a while afterward, because obviously drugs have a vice grip on you,” he continued. “That was step one for me. As a father and as a man, to be the father I wish my dad would have been, I have to break this generational curse for my kid.”

Earlier this month, Baker discussed his one-year sobriety milestone on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast.

“I’m completely sober from everything. I don’t drink anymore. I haven’t drank since last August,” he said. MGK quietly entered rehab after completing his European tour in 2023, battling alcohol, marijuana, and pills.

“They just gave me so many ways to operate the body, show where this anger is coming from, and methods to quell it,” he explained. He also credited his fiancée, Megan Fox, for helping him through the recovery process, saying, “Megan has for sure been extremely helpful in dealing with the kind of psychological withdrawals that come with [sobriety].”

Reflecting on his father’s struggles, MGK revealed on the Dumb Blonde podcast how deeply his family’s past has influenced him: “My father was so tormented from some of the most insane s—t I could imagine a kid could go through.”

Machine Gun kelly‘s determination to break the cycle of addiction and trauma in his family is clear: “As a father and as a man, to be the father I wish my dad would have been, I have to break this generational curse for my kid.”

In July, the proud dad celebrated Casie’s 15th birthday with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, sharing moments from their life together. “The world spins but when I look at you it stops. Happy 15th princess,” he captioned a series of sweet photos.

Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Roll are set to release a new collaborative single, “Lonely Road,” on July 26.
The duo, who have dubbed themselves “KellyRoll,” teased the track on social media on July 19 with a brief video clip that hints at a John Denver-inspired tune.

“Countdown to KellyRoll activated,” the artists wrote on Instagram. “Thanks to John Denver for paving the way.”

The teaser features MGK and Jelly Roll in black suits at a funeral, with snippets showing MGK being arrested and Jelly Roll kissing his wife, Bunnie XO. The song’s hook, “Lonely road, take me home. Take me home,” clearly nods to Denver’s iconic “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

The collaboration marks MGK’s first release since revisiting his Hotel Diablo album with a deluxe edition earlier this month. For Jelly Roll, it follows his recent appearance on Eminem’s new album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), where he featured on the emotionally charged track “Somebody Save Me.”

Trending on Billboard

Interestingly, Jelly Roll’s work with Eminem comes amidst the Detroit rapper’s ongoing feud with MGK. Eminem has taken several shots at MGK over the years, including digs on his latest album.

The collaboration between MGK and Jelly Roll isn’t entirely unexpected. The pair previously shared the stage at CMA Fest’s Spotify House in June, performing duets of Jelly Roll’s hit “Need a Favor” and MGK’s “My Ex’s Best Friend.” During that performance, MGK also covered the Chicks’ “There’s Your Trouble,” hinting at a potential foray into country music.

The upcoming collab could signal another shift in musical direction for MGK, who has already transitioned from rap to pop-punk in recent years. For Jelly Roll, the track follows the release of his song “Dead End Road” from the Twisters soundtrack.

“Lonely Road” is set to drop on July 26 and will be available on all major streaming platforms. You can check out the teaser below.

Machine Gun Kelly debuted a new look, and people are giving him a blank stare.
It’s a new year and clearly a new MGK. The “rapper,” now a mega-popular rockstar, is prepping his fans for new music and rebooted himself with some fresh ink.
He showed his eight million-plus followers his new body tattoo on Instagram, a complete cover-up with nothing but pure black ink.
In the caption for the post, the “Emo Girl” crafter said his new body tattoo is “for spiritual purposes only” and thanked his tattoo artist @roxx.

In an Instagram Story post, MGK revealed that the artist used “44 needles” while Roxx wrote, “Never met a tougher one,” regarding the musician sitting down getting the epic that done.
The post has received over 600,000 likes, and people are sharing interesting thoughts in the comments. Power Book II: Ghost actor Gianni Paolo had high praise for the tattoo, saying, “insane.”
Even the Tiger King, Joe Exotic, currently serving a 22-year prison sentence, had something to say and shot his shot, writing in the comment section, “A tiger and a bit of meth, and you would be mine. Lol.”
We are sure Machine Gun Kelly’s current fiancee, actress Meagan Fox, is not trying to share her man with Joe Exotic.
Some people in the comment section do not like his tattoo. One commenter said, “Stupidest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.”
Another person joked, “Bro looking like the adidas logo.”
Where’s the lie?
Welp, the work is done, MGK is happy with it, and that’s all that matters.
You can see more reactions to the tattoo in the gallery below.

Last week Jack Harlow crowned himself the best white rapper ever next to Eminem after dropping his latest album, Jackman, but Machine Gun Kelly apparently doesn’t agree and let his feelings be known on a new scathing freestyle.Taking to the front lawn of his crib and borrowing Jay-Z’s “Renegade” beat (which was produced and featured Eminem), Kelly clapped right at the Kentucky rapper and did what he could to deep fry his brown curls and serve him with a side of shade.
With chipped painted nails gripping the mic, MGK went straight for the jugular with lines like, “I see why they call you Jackman, you jacked man’s whole swag. Give Drake his flow back / Man. I eat rappers like Pac-Man. Must I regurgitate and show you who’s in my stomach from the last dance?”
Whoa! Was he referring to Eminem in that last line, as many felt he “ate” the iconic rapper in their battle from yesteryear? We don’t know, but truth be told, Machine Gun Kelly does have bars, and we don’t think Jack Harlow can go toe-to-toe with the rapper/pop artist who sometimes raps.
Twitter Reacts To The White Rapper Beef
While we await a response from the white rapper who hails from the home of the Colonel, the Twitterverse is already sharing their thoughts on this latest unforeseen white rap beef and are pretty much enjoying the festivities as we pretty much know it won’t lead to gun violence (just sayin’).

Check out Machine Gun Kelly’s two-minute freestyle below, and let us know your thoughts on the possible beef brewing out in the sticks.

A minute ago, Machine Gun Kelly ditched the rap scene to dip his toes into the pop genre of the music game, but now it seems like the Cleveland rapper is ready to once again show off his rhyme skills that many say defeated one Marshall Mathers aka Eminem back in 2018.

In a new video for their “Doja Freestyle,” Machine Gun Kelly and Cordae take to the lawn with nothing but a microphone and Central Cee’s “Doja” beat. Kelly then proceeded to drop the kind of bars that you wouldn’t really expect from someone who looks like he just got home from a Slayer concert. Spitting lines like “This off the cranium/This is a nuclear weapon, my bars are uranium/I’m spittin’ fire, this must be House of The Dragons, I’m a Targaeryan/I don’t deal with p*ssies, I’m not a veterinarian, but I might educate and slap a p*ssy boy like a disciplinarian.”

Not one to pass up the opportunity to shine on his own, Cordae continues to prove he too is a beast on the beat and went off with his own lines like “I’m from the city where n*ggas gon’ make you pay tariffs/Them n*ggas strapped like a sheriff/Promise my whole family good if a n*gga gon’ perish/They in my will like a ferris.”
They both got it in on this joint.
Check out Machine Gun Kelly and Cordae’s “Doja Freestyle” below, and let us know who bodied the track the most in the comments section.

One-time and occasional rapper Machine Gun Kelly and his actress girlfriend Megan Fox are officially back together. Apparently, it took a “healing” vacation in Hawaii to get the couple back on the same romantic page.

Oh, is that all?
Reports the Daily Mail:
In exclusive pictures, the 36-year-old actress and 32-year-old pop punk rapper – born Colson Baker – can be seen holding hands on multiple romantic strolls down the beach on Thursday during their picturesque vacation on the Big Island of Hawai’i as their stay at the luxurious The Four Seasons Hualalai.

Despite looking tense days ago, a source close to the couple tells DailyMail.com: ‘They’re officially back on after going through a rocky patch in their relationship. The last few months has been tough for them both but they went away together to do some healing and it’s been working. They feel more connected than ever.’
‘Megan is extremely spiritual and believes that Colson is her soulmate. She was never going to give up on them, but felt as though they needed to spend some quality time together.’
This revelation comes after months of rumors that the couple was kaput. Interestingly, despite being more on a Rock wave with his music lately, Machine Gun Kelly is still signed to Bad Boy Entertainment.
You care.

It seems like ever since actress Megan Fox and recording artist Machine Gun Kelly got engaged, folks all over the drama-net have floated around rumors that the couple has called it quits and are no longer together. Well, apparently, not only have those rumors been false, but Fox has recently resurrected her Instagram account just so she can shoot down fresh rumors about infidelity interrupting her and MGK’s romance.

“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind,” the Till Death actress wrote. “That includes but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons.”
“While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now,” she continued.S, basically, the Think Like A Dog star is requesting that folks on the internet mind the business that pays them and stop predicting cloudy skies for the couple’s pretty picnic. (*in my best Andre 3000 voice* “but you can’t predict the weather!*)

As previously reported, Fox appears to have recently scrubbed all traces of MGK from her social media accounts and also unfollowed the “Emo Girl” rapper on Instagram. So, naturally, people who pay attention to such things assumed the worst. And of course, it doesn’t help that the rumor mill surrounding their relationship went into overdrive after people began to suspect MGK was involved with his backup guitarist, Sophie Lloyd.

According to People, Loyd’s management team issued a statement also denying that she’s the other woman in Fox’s and MGK’s relationship.

“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” her team said. “Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”

It looks like one of the most high-profile celebrity couples may be broken up. The Internets have deduced that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are no longer dating.

As spotted on High Snobiety the Think Like A Dog star has scrubbed the rapper from all her social media channels. On Sunday, February 12 fans noticed that she stopped following MGK on Instagram. While that is probably the biggest red flag with confirming true love in this era of digital sharing; her followers also noticed she also removed any photos where he was featured. Additionally, she started using cryptic quotes from Beyoncé’s “Pray You Catch Me” (“You can taste the dishonesty/it’s all over your breath”) throughout her Instagram stories. A day later she deactivated her Instagram entirely.

Back in January 2022, the two got engaged after months of a very public relationship. Since then breakup rumors have followed them along with ongoing criticism for their at times bizarre behavior. In April Megan confirmed with Glamour that they drank each other’s blood in pint-sized portions.
“Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood. It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only” she explained.
Machine Gun Kelly has yet to comment on Megan’s social media scrubbing but it should be noted that photos of her still live on his feed. So in theory; there still is hope.

Machine Gun Kelly is one of Hip-Hop’s most eclectic figures. The “Bad Things” rapper/actor is working to become a fashion icon. But this week, MGK lashed out at critics of his eclectic style.

The clapback came after MGK shared a picture rocking a shiny silver suit with silver accessories, and David Bowie-inspired silver eye makeup for Fashion Week. He captioned the photo, “i call this: if jules from euphoria went to milan.”

The picture garnered mixed comments with some fans supporting, while others remembered the rapper’s former fashion flow.

“Lace up Mgk would have neverrrr worn makeup .. smh i get high fashion but u dont need eyeshadow on mannn,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Nah this ain’t fashion.”
The Cleveland rapper replied on Twitter, writing, “you can’t comment about my style if you have none.”

Fans of the rapper fawned over the tweet praising his style.

He also carried the tweet over to Instagram where he advised haters to “keep your insecurities to yourself.”

Under the IG post some commenters weren’t as supportive as they were on Twitter. Per Page Six, some comments read: “Not a fan of your new style. Like the old MGK!!!” and another added, “Maybe it’s because all your day one fans have watched you transform into a techno vampire almost.”
Despite the fashion choices, MGK may be going back to some of his old ways when it comes to music. He is rumored to be releasing a rap album this year. Per NME, MGK told a podcast that he is going to make the album, “for no other reason, no point to prove, no chip on my shoulder. If I keep doing things to prove things to people, I’m going to one, drive myself crazy and two, not make a good product.”
MGK also recently released his semi-autobiographical movie, Taurus, which starred him as a drugged-out rap star and featured appearances by his real-life love Megan Fox and BMF star, Demetrius Flenory, Jr.
