Pharrell’s highly anticipated Louis Vuitton collaboration is upon us, and if you have a few thousand dollars to spare in that shoe box, you might want to get in on this.
After creating much buzz with his Timberland x Louis Vuitton boots earlier this year, Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton workwear capsule collection will be hitting the shelves next week. According to Highsnobiety, the pieces will be available for prelaunch for the ballers who have money to burn. That’s not us. Just sayin’.
Per Highsnobiety:
Louis Vuitton’s workwear capsule will be available for prelaunch on Louis Vuitton’s website and app come July 18 before officially releasing to select flagship stores on August 8. Expect prices to sit in typical LV range: that is to say, around $3,000 for the Timbs.
It’s meaty, comprising all that aforementioned apparel: hardy chore coats, dusters, double-knee pants, and Western shirts, embroidered, embellished, studded and sumptuously cut from overdyed earth-toned LV monogram jacquard.
While the attire in the collection is pretty dope, many will be looking to snag a pair of those Timberland boots as they are indeed the star of the show. But at $3,000 a pair, don’t be surprised if you only see rappers and entertainers stunting in those buttery suede worker boots as that’s basically two months worth of rent for the average Joe.
There is Louis Vuitton’s riff on timeless Timberland 6″ boot, fabricated in LV’s Fiesso d’Artico footwear atelier of Italian nubuck, dappled with gilded eyelets, and stamped with the LV monogram. This is the one with which Pharrell secured his place in the history books.
It’s joined by the Louis Vuitton by Timberland LV Boot, which blows up the original 6″ boot’s silhouette by 15 percent and thus reaches similar XXXL scale to Pharrell’s favored puffy trainers.
One has to wonder what resale would be on a pair of those Timberlands.

Louis Vuitton continues to add their all-star roster. They have announced Pusha T as their newest brand ambassador.

As spotted on High Snobiety, the Virginia Beach, Virginia, native is taking his talents back to the fashion industry. This week, the luxury apparel brand named Pusha T as a Louis Vuitton House Ambassador. LV expressed their enthusiasm regarding the partnership in a formal statement. “His ambassadorial nomination at Louis Vuitton is a testament to his commitment to artistry and a strong personal style, both echoing the Maison’s own dedication to unique expression across fashion and culture,” read a press release. “Pusha T’s role as House Ambassador underscores Louis Vuitton’s vision of bringing together diverse cultural influences to build powerful storytelling within its storied menswear universe. The Maison looks forward to this exciting collaborative journey ahead.”
This is not the first time the “Numbers On The Board” MC has worked with the label. Back in January, he walked the runway for Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week show. Last month, he and his brother No Malice attended LV Spring Summer 2025 show and premiered their new song “The Birds Don’t Sing.” Featuring John Legend on the hook, the duo addressed the loss of their parents and the bereavement that followed.
Current Louis Vuitton House brand ambassadors include Rihanna, LeBron James, Victor Wembanyama and Gong Yoo.
Pusha T has been named the newest House Ambassador of Louis Vuitton, the French luxury fashion house announced on Monday (July 8). “His ambassadorial nomination at Louis Vuitton is a testament to his commitment to artistry and a strong personal style, both echoing the Maison’s own dedication to unique expression across fashion and culture,” read […]
Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton are facing a lawsuit over their launch of a high-end line of “Pocket Socks,” filed by a California company that says it’s been using that same name for more than a decade on a similar product.
In a case filed last week in Los Angeles federal court, Pocket Socks Inc. says the luxury brand’s product — a literal sock-with-a-pocket that launched at Paris Fashion Week last year and sells for the whopping price of $530 — infringes its existing trademark rights to the name.
“Much attention and publicity has been generated for Louis Vuitton’s ‘Pocket Socks,’ including defendants, the press, and consumers using the name ‘Pocket Socks’ for their product which irreparably injures Pocket Socks’ longstanding brand and trademark rights,” the company’s lawyers write in the June 20 complaint.
Trending on Billboard
Louis Vuitton announced in February 2023 that Williams would serve as the company’s men’s creative director, and he debuted his first line for the company later that year at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.
One of the items apparently rolled out at last year’s event was the Pocket Socks — a pair of knitted socks that feature a pocket adorned with a pearl. The socks received some notoriety in January when Jermaine Dupri was razzed on social media for wearing them during his Super Bowl halftime performance. Though currently unavailable for purchase, the socks are listed on Louis Vuitton’s UK website for £420 — roughly $530 in U.S. dollars.
Louis Vuitton’s new product didn’t sit well with Pocket Socks Inc., which says it’s been using that exact same name since 2012 for its own line of socks that feature a zippered pocket sewn into each pair. In its lawsuit, the company says it owns several federal trademark registrations for the brand and that the new product clearly infringes those rights.
In a statement announcing the new lawsuit, Pocket Socks Inc. claims Louis Vuitton’s new line “threatens to undermine the hard work and dedication” that has gone into building the brand: “This massive luxury brand and their designer Pharrell Williams should know better and behave within the law,” said CEO Evan Papel.
In technical terms, the lawsuit accuses Williams and Louis Vuitton of infringing both the trademark to the name as well as the so-called “trade dress” — meaning the actual look of the product. The sale of similar-looking socks under the same name is “likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive consumers,” the lawsuit claims.
As the case moves forward, one possible defense argument from Williams and Louis Vuitton could be that the name Pocket Socks is too “descriptive” to serve as a trademark. Under U.S. trademark law, terms that merely describe the goods or services being sold cannot be locked up as an exclusive brand name.
Neither a rep Williams nor Louis Vuitton immediately returned requests for comment.

Two of the biggest brands might be joining forces for a drop. Pharrell’s IG post might be a nod to a collaboration between Apple and Louis Vuitton.
As reported on High Snobiety, Skateboard P’s social media activity is once again causing speculation about a forthcoming release. On Friday, June 14, the Virginia Beach, Virginia, native shared a very interesting piece of footage that instantly turned some heads. His @skateboard handle, an Instagram account dedicated to his creative director work at Louis Vuitton, posted a video that showed a circular object that resembles a medal spinning around on its axis. While the footage was low quality, we are able to see that one side features the Apple logo in white, and on the other side we see the LV marque in what seems to be silver.
As expected the post created instant conversation regarding what could be a sneak peak for an upcoming Louis Vuitton and Apple collaboration. “Surprised LV and Apple haven’t worked in the past” one user wrote. While another user rhetorically asked “LV Airtag Holder?” This is not the first time Pharrell’s social media activity has caused a frenzy. Back in January he unveiled the Timberland x Louis Vuitton 6-Inch Boot.
Representatives at Louis Vuitton nor Apple have yet to comment on the post.

The Louis Vuitton x Timberland collaboration is upon us, and while we’re sure many heads in the different boroughs throughout New York City wouldn’t mind rocking some fresh construction boots with the Louis V imprint etched all over them, we’re not sure that’s going to be the case with the price tags these are carrying with them.
According to Highsnobiety, the collaboration is rumored to be releasing Aug. 8. We’ve seen the 6-inch construction boots with the “LV” stamp on the tongue, but it seems like we’re also getting a Louis Vuitton version of the classic “40 Below” boots that Tupac made famous in his breakthrough role as Bishop in the cult classic film, Juice.
We’re not gonna lie, these are hella tough. Still, a retail price of $3,000 almost guarantees you won’t be seeing these in your hood anytime soon… if ever.
Per Highsnobiety:
Rumors are swirling that Louis Vuitton’s New York AF collaboration with Timberland is hitting stores on August 8. That’s perfect for all the real Timb steppers who hit pools and beaches with 6-inchs all summer. And a leaked image from what looks like a line sheet distributed by Louis Vuitton sales associates reveals that a “LV Boot Ranger Boot” will be priced at $2,990.
It’s worth noting that, though August is a plausible release date as the LV Timbs are part of Pharrell’s FW24 collection, this info is unconfirmed.
We remember when a pair of construction boots went for $100, but once prices hit $190 a lot of heads fell back. We’re not sure if a pair of $3,000 Timbs will have heads flocking to grab a pair, but don’t be surprised if you see a few rappers or athletes rocking these joints when they’re out in public. Feels like they’ll be the only heads willing to shell out big bucks to rock a pair of construction boots with the “LV” emblem on them.

Pharrell Williams is using his magic touch with smell goods. He is releasing his first ever fragrance with Luis Vuitton.
Source: LOUIS VUITTON / Louis Vuitton
As reported by Hypebeast, the Virginia Beach native is doubling down in his role at the apparel company. This week, he announced his first fragrance at La Maison. Titled LVRS, this expression is intended to embody the metaphorical yet nostalgic scent of the sun. In an interview with Vogue United Kingdom, Pharrell revealed that the idea spawned out of a conversation he had with perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud at his debut show in June 2023. “I asked Jacques and Camille [his daughter], what does sunlight smell like? This fragrance is a poetic and metaphorical version of the answer to that question,” Pharrell said.
“When we discussed a few hours after the show how the perfume should be, we spoke very precisely about the use of the variety of light in nature coming from photosynthesis and this is where everything started,” Belletrud explained. Galbanum is the main ingredient used in LVRS and piqued Pharrell’s curiosity immediately as the gum resin has not been used in the smell goods business for many years.
“Smelling it, my first realization is that I can smell colors of this fragrance. It’s definitely on the blue side: blue and light blue and there’s a little bit of some purple in it,” the “Happy” performer said. “I don’t see red or burgundy or brown. It’s on the sweeter side. It smells like an elegant, elevated version of something that’s familiar to me.”
LVRS features top notes of bergamot and galbanum; middle notes of ginger and solar notes and base notes of sandalwood and cedarwood. Also available are some leather LV accessories in the camo print. LVRS launches June 19 and is priced at $320,00.

You can add Louis Vuitton to the list of brands Tyler, The Creator has created with. The rapper has designed a capsule for the luxury label.
Source: LOUIS VUITTON / Louis Vuitton
As reported by GQ magazine the songwriter has been given the greenlight by Pharrell Williams to design a forthcoming drop. This week the Paris, France based brand unveiled his vision and it is clear his fingerprints are all over these items. Included in the collection are ready to wear clothing including t-shirts, button-ups, jackets, knitted sweaters, sets, accessories and more. As expected the capsule also includes a variety of leather pieces ranging from trunks, weekend bags and of course golf bags.
In an exclusive statement via email to Women’s Wear Daily Pharrell Williams explained why the collaboration made so sense. “Tyler has been my close friend and collaborator for years. I admire his eye and we’ve always connected on music, fashion and jewelry. He doesn’t shy away from doing something interesting and different” he said. “Tyler already had a strong relationship with the maison when Virgil was here, and this spring collection intentionally builds on this and strengthens our LVers community of incredible minds and artists who understand our vision and appreciate the history and Virgil’s impact like Tyler does,” he added.
This is not the first time Tyler, The Creator has worked with Louis Vuitton. Back in 2022 scored the runway fashion show for their fall collection; the last one designed by the late great Virgil Abloh. The Tyler, The Creator Louis Vuitton capsule collection will be available globally on March 27.

It seems that Louis Vuitton will continue to tap into sports to bring their brand to life. They have announced Victor Wembanyama as their newest brand ambassador.
Source: Louis Vuitton / Louis Vuitton
GQ magazine is reporting that the San Antonio Spurs rookie will be the newest face of the luxury label. In an exclusive interview with the men’s lifestyle publication, Victor Wembanyama detailed his enthusiasm about the opportunity. “To me, it’s the best,” he said. “It’s the best partner I can think of.” He went on to further explain why the move made so much sense to him. “I wanted a meaningful partnership,” he added. “To me it made a lot of sense to partner with LV—you know, French excellence. The expertise is something that I feel very much attracted to.”
The brand also detailed why the French native was an obvious choice for this ambassador role. “Striving for excellence and with a perpetual honing of craft, Victor joins Louis Vuitton on a journey of shared values and aligned ambitions. Like Louis Vuitton himself, the young athlete has blazed a trail, excelling in a career that is only just beginning,” the official press release read. This is not the first time the apparel company has tapped into high profile athletes of color. Last month LeBron James starred in a campaign for Pharrell Williams’ LV Spring/Summer 2024 collection. In 2021 global tennis phenomenon Naomi Osaka was named a brand ambassador for the maison.

Pharrell Williams certainly knows how to get the people going. On Friday (Jan. 12), the multihyphenate talent teased a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Timberland, and all the corners of well-dressed, fashion-forward social media are going in.
If you don’t know, one of Pharrell’s current gigs is Creative Director of Louis Vuitton. This union with Timberland is just the latest bomb drop since he picked up the reigns of LV about a year ago to fill the void left by the untimely passing of Virgil Abloh.
Taking to his LV’d out @skateboard Instagram, Pharrell showed off what looks like your standard 6″ high construction Timberland boot—except his version sports the Timberland logo with “Louis Vuitton Paris” written below on the tongue and the world-recognized LV logo on the inner portion which he of course folded down for a look. After the reveal, he pulled down his wide-legged denim that surely cost more than your standard Timbs, too.
No word on a release date or pricing, but you can guarantee these will sell out instantly and cost a grip considering the LV x Nike Air Force 1’s went for about $2750, at retail. Expect to see plenty of these at LV’s Fall/Winter 2024 menswear show that goes down on January 16 during Paris Fashion Week.
No matter the high price of admission, social media has already started either thirsting for these or slandering the design as “lazy.” See for yourself in the gallery.
We’d take a pair, for review purposes, though.
