Nick Cannon Says He’s ‘Not Done’ Having Kids, Even If a Vasectomy Would Be the ‘Responsible Thing’

Nick Cannon already has 12 kids, but he’s still hoping for a baker’s dozen — and maybe even a few more after that. On the latest episode of his We Playin’ Spades podcast that dropped March 17, the actor shared his stance on getting a vasectomy (spoiler: he’s against it) and affirmed that if things play out as he hopes, his massive family will continue to expand.

The topic of getting snipped first came up when guests Ryan Clark and Channing Crowder revealed that they’d both had vasectomies. After they started giving Cannon a hard time for not doing the same despite his massive family tree, The Masked Singer host conceded that the procedure would be “the responsible thing to do.”

But?

“I’m just — I’m not done,” Cannon said, laughing. “I’m being judged.”

The Wild n’ Out star shares a total of 12 children with five different women, with Cannon first becoming a dad in 2011 when superstar ex-wife Mariah Carey welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe. He also shares Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; Zion Mixolydian, Zillion Heir and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole; and Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. He and Scott also had a son named Zen in 2021, but the baby boy died from brain cancer just five months after he was born.

While neither of his We Playin’ Spades guests could wrap their heads around why someone would want to continue fathering kids after already having so many, Cannon shared his simple rationale: “Why not?”

“I don’t know! That’s the thing,” he added when co-host Courtney Bee asked if he wants to have more children with one of his kids’ mothers or if he wants to bring a new woman into the mix. “I leave it to the Lord.”

Bunnie XO Is ‘High as Hell’ in Hilarious Post-Anesthesia Video Amid IVF Journey With Jelly Roll

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO are currently in the midst of a challenging IVF journey, but it has its perks.

In a hilarious video shared by the Dumb Blonde podcaster on TikTok Tuesday (March 18), she comes down off of anesthesia following a fertility treatment. “Not gonna lie, I love propofol,” she says drowsily, lying back in a hospital bed as a healthcare professional tends to her. “That’s good s–t.”

“I’m f–king high as hell,” Bunnie continues in the clip, verbalizing her stream of consciousness. “I’m so thankful, praise Jesus … Did I poop on the doctor?”

For the record, the entrepreneur did not poop on the doctor, as the caregiver in the room quickly assured her.

As good of a time as she appeared to have this time around while sedated, Bunnie shared in the comments that she had been “so stressed” about having to undergo anesthesia leading up to the procedure. “Mrs. Bunnie doing what she can for babies regardless of being terrified of anesthesia!” one fan had written, to which she replied, “I didn’t even sleep last night I was so stressed.”

The “Son of a Sinner” singer and Bunnie first revealed that they were trying to welcome children through in vitro fertilization in June last year. The two stars are already parents to 16-year-old Bailee, whom Jelly welcomed in a previous relationship but now shares full custody of with Bunnie. Jelly also has a son, Noah, from a previous relationship.

“My wife and I are talking about having a baby,” the country star said at the time on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, after which Bunnie clarified on Instagram, “We had planned on doing this privately, but decided our IVF journey needed to be shared because we’ve always been so open. And w/ all odds stacked against us, it’s already been hard and we have only just begun. We have been meeting with IVF doctors & exploring all our options to add to our family.”

Jelly is currently on tour in support of his Billboard 200-topping album Beautifully Broken. In April, he’ll kick off his joint stadium trek in North America with Post Malone.

While he’s on the road, Bunnie has seemingly been holding down the fort at home while continuing with her IVF treatments. In another TikTok shared a few days prior to the video about her latest clinic visit, she sits in a chair and acts out calling her husband on the phone, hilariously mouthing along to an audio that says, “I’m f–king cleaning, like I’m always doing.”

“When my husby is working hard on tour in another country & I’m at home baking eggs in my ovaries chilling by the pool,” she captioned the clip.

DK Metcalf Reveals Engagement to Normani During Press Conference: ‘Hold That Rock Up, Baby’

After a couple years of dating, Normani and DK Metcalf have wedding bells on the horizon.

During a Thursday (March 13) press conference following his recent trade from the Seattle Seahawks to the Pittsburgh Stealers, the wide receiver adorably revealed that he and the Fifth Harmony alum are engaged. “Hold that rock up, baby,” he said, smiling and appearing to gesture to an off-camera Normani to encourage her to show off her new ring.

When one reporter asked where he proposed, Metcalf shared that he’d popped the question to the “Motivation” singer one day prior while both of their families were together in Houston. “It was my sister’s spring break and just thought about getting the whole family together for a big kumbaya and joining our families with the ring,” he said.

The couple’s engagement comes about two years after they first sparked dating rumors in summer 2023. Metcalf and Normani were set up by the athlete’s teammate Russell Wilson and the quarterback’s famous wife, Ciara.

In 2024, the “Wild Side” performer opened up about her love life during an interview with Rolling Stone. “I am very happy,” she said at the time. “I’ve experienced a lot with relationships. I’m a real lover girl. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and finding space where that’s reciprocated feels good. I like to see myself happy. I really do.”

Metcalf was traded from the Steelers to the Seahawks just days before he and Normani got engaged. In a video on the East Coast team’s X account Thursday (March 13), the player personally said hello to his new Pittsburgh fanbase and gave a “shout-out” to the people who have supported him through the trade — including his “beautiful fiancée.”

Jelly Roll Explains How This Important Tattoo Represents ‘Second Chances’

Jelly Roll has many tattoos, but one of them is particularly meaningful in how it relates to his life.

While speaking to People Thursday (March 13), the country star opened up about one piece of ink on his arm depicting a broken chain. “It is just about breaking chains in life — anything that is bounding us, any bondage that we have, any addiction, anything we think God can’t get us through,” he explained to the publication. “We can break those chains.”

“I think second chances are earned,” Jelly added. “I think sometimes you can earn them in opportunity — there are opportunities to earn — but I believe that second chances are earned.”

He also revealed that he only got the chain tat after he and collaborators Taylor Phillips and Jackson Dean wrote a song together called “I Can’t Break These Chains.” “We loved the song so much we got the tattoo of the breaking chains that day,” Jelly said. “And we still never put that song out! We should put that song out.”

The “Son of a Sinner” singer has been open about his struggles with drugs and alcohol. His past also includes being in and out of jail about 40 times. Jelly has said that he knew he wanted to change his life after one particular stay behind bars when he was 23, during which he learned that he had become a father to now 16-year-old daughter Bailee.

In a recent interview on the Smartless podcast, the musician opened up about turning his life around for his child. “I had to go to court,” he said on the show. “I had to get supervised visits through the courtroom … I just had to keep going to the court every six months and going, ‘Look, I’m continuing to prove I’m changing.’ Music, being famous, wasn’t even a thought then. I just wanted to be a good dad.”

The meaningful chain tattoo is just one of countless pieces of artwork on Jelly’s body, which is nearly covered in ink. Some of his most distinguishable body art is on his face, including multiple crosses on his cheeks and near his eyes.

In March 2024, Jelly shared that he regrets “almost all” of the tattoos he’s gotten, and said that he’s done multiple coverups over his least favorites. “I regret 98 percent of these tattoos, 97 percent,” he said at the time. “Like core philosophies I rooted my life in when I was 17 and now that I’m 40, I’m like, ‘What the f–k was I thinking?’”

Bre Tiesi Explains Why She Isn’t ‘Threatened’ by Nick Cannon’s Relationships With His Other Kids’ Moms

Bre Tiesi is opening up about her unorthodox relationship with Nick Cannon, whose time she has to share with four other women who’ve also welcomed kids with The Masked Singer host.

On the latest episode of Paul C. Brunson’s We Need to Talk podcast posted Tuesday (March 11), the Selling Sunset star explained why non-monogamy works for herself and Cannon, with whom she shares 2-year-old son Legendary Love. “It’s just so healthy and normal, and people think that it’s not because of the surrounding factors, but I don’t involve myself in surrounding factors,” Tiesi said matter of factly. “The kids are welcome into my life and our life, and that’s where I draw the line.”

“Nick’s always been a playboy,” she continued. “Everyone knows that.”

The Wild n’ Out star has a total of 12 children with five different women including Tiesi. He shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with superstar ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; Zion Mixolydian, Zillion Heir and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole; and Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. He and Scott also had a son named Zen in 2021, but the little boy died from brain cancer just five months after he was born.

Of Cannon’s respective relationships with the other women, Tiesi explained why she doesn’t feel “threatened.” “I know what my relationship is, and I know that no matter what, you’ll never have with anyone else what you have with me,” she told Brunson. “I’m cool with a majority of the women. Obviously, there’s emotions involved, and I can’t help how other people feel.”

The model went on to share the closest she’s ever come to feeling envious of Cannon’s other relationships. “I think I’ve gotten jealous about maybe holidays,” she said. “Holidays are hard. I’ll be like, ‘If you’re gonna do this, can you take Legy?’ It’s not for me — I’m not jealous. Say they go on a trip, and I’m like, ‘Well that would’ve been nice. Couldn’t you have just brought Legy with you guys?’ I’m looking more out for him. I want him to have the relationship with his siblings.”

Tiesi also explained why she currently isn’t dating anyone besides Cannon, despite the Drumline star maintaining relationships with other women in addition to her. “It’s not that I won’t or I can’t, it’s that I choose not to,” she said. “I just really don’t want to deal with another man for a very long time. I’m happy in my relationship. I’m happy with my family unit.”

Lady Gaga Says She Wants ‘Marriage & Kids More Than Anything’

Lady Gaga may now be causing mayhem in pop music, but what she’s really looking forward to is the peace of starting a family with fiancé Michael Polansky.

In an interview with Good Morning America that aired Friday (March 7) — the same day the superstar’s album Mayhem finally dropped — Gaga opened up about how she wanted “marriage and kids more than anything” before meeting the tech businessman in 2019. “We’d been talking for, like, three weeks on the phone every single day just getting to know each other, and Michael flew to Vegas when I was doing my show to take me on our first date,” she recalled.

“And before we even sat down, I said, ‘Do you want marriage and kids?’” she continued. “And he goes, ‘Yeah I do.’ And I said, ‘Yeah OK, great. Do you want some champagne?’”

Trending on Billboard

The 14-time Grammy winner added, “I wanted him to know that I was a family girl.”

Gaga and Polansky had been dating for about four years when they got engaged in April 2024. The “Die With a Smile” singer has been open in the past about how she’s ready to welcome children into the mix, telling Elle in January that she envisions her near future being centered around “me and Michael and our kids.”

“That’s something Michael and I have talked about a lot — allowing our kids to be their own people,” she added at the time. “It’s such an intense thing for kids coming into the world. And they’re told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat … I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are.”

For now, the A Star Is Born actress is focused on planning their wedding — “You know what? It’s … it’s going,” she told GMA of the process — and sticking the landing with Mayhem, which Polansky was also heavily involved in. The entrepreneur is credited as a songwriter on several of the songs, and Gaga previously said that he was the one who encouraged her to return to her dance-pop roots on the LP.

“He just loves the whole me,” she told GMA. “We do a lot together. He includes me in his business as well. He’s really creative, he plays guitar — he’s like a beautiful musician. We have a really creative relationship.”

Gaga added, “My album’s called Mayhem, but it’s also nice to be in the mayhem with someone else.”

Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Broadus Welcomes First Baby Three Months Early

Congratulations are in order for Snoop Dogg‘s only daughter Cori Broadus and her fiancé Wayne Duece, who recently welcomed their first baby.

“The princess arrived at 6 months. I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me!” the couple captioned their shared Instagram post on Saturday (March 1), a black-and-white photo of their newborn daughter’s foot. “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far #nicubaby #25weeks.”

Broadus, 25, also shared on her now-expired Instagram Stories that she had a C-section, which was a “success,” and discovered she had developed HELLP (Hemolysis, Elevated Liver Enzymes and Low Platelets) syndrome, a life-threatening pregnancy complication that mainly affects the blood and liver and is related to preeclampsia, according to the Cleveland Clinic. “Doctors told me thank you for coming and if I would’ve waited a few more days it would’ve been really bad,” she wrote. “Ladies please listen to your bodies and don’t believe everything you see on TIK TOK (talking to myself lowkey).”

This isn’t the only health scare Broadus has suffered in the last year. She suffered a “severe stroke” in January 2024, and Broadus opened up about it in the three-part E! docuseries Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story that aired in December.
