Fun in the sun, live music and libations. Festival season is a time to let loose, and Hennessy is shaking things up with its “Made for More” campaign.
Teyana Taylor and Snowfall actor Damson Idris star in the campaign, which has been making the rounds for festival season. After debuting at Dreamville Festival in April, Hennessy brought “Made for More” to Lollapalooza earlier in the month. Music lovers were able to drop by the Henny Highline house where they enjoyed giveaways, live DJs and cocktails such as the Henny-Rita, Hennessy Summer, and Hennessy V.S.O.P Paloma.

“Hennessy is well known everywhere but people don’t always know about how versatile it is – how it brings more flavor, depth and complexity to all kinds of cocktails,” Julie Nollet, Hennessy’s global chief marketing officer said in a newsreleaseannouncing the campaign in April. “Our new ‘Made for More’ campaign is bringing to life this notion of 1+1 = 3, showcasing the unlimited possibilities and introducing another side of the brand with beauty, fun and open mindedness. It shakes up the brand perceptions and builds on its legacy for a new generation.”

“I’m super excited to embark on a journey with my favorite cognac, Hennessy,” Taylor noted of working with the brand. “Destination: fresh, bright, and invigorating, like any good cocktail should be.”
Added Idris, “The chance to work with such an iconic brand was one I just couldn’t say no to. When I think of Hennessy I think of my three older brothers, I think of amazing memories. The visuals are stylish, the films are fun, it’s magic. It’s cinema.”
Want to channel that festival feeling wherever you go? We rounded up the Henny-Rita recipe, so you can make the refreshing cocktail all year long.
Henny-Rita Recipe:
1.5 oz Hennessy V.S
0.75 oz Fresh lime juice
0.5 oz Orange Liqueur
0.25 oz Agave syrup
1 lime wedge
1 optional: salt (or Tajin) on the rim.
Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake until chilled. After that, strain the drink into salt-rimmed rocks glass with ice, and don’t forget to garnish with a lime or an orange wedge.
Want to turn your Henny-Rita into a frozen drink? Get the Ninja SLUHSI maker. The viral slushy machine takes just 15 minutes to work and it doesn’t use ice.

Flavor Flav has been in Paris supporting the U.S. women’s water polo team over the last two weeks. Unfortunately, the team lost to Australia on Thursday, ending its bid for a fourth straight title. Flav reacted with a post on X admitting that he wanted to cry, but was trying to hold back. “[I’m] so proud of this team,” he tweeted. “We still in this.”

Earlier this week, the 65-year-old rapper spoke to NPR about why he chose to sponsor the U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team.
“A a young lady on the water polo team – her name is Maggie Steffens, she put a story out, and my manager read the story and turned me on to the story,” he explained. “When the women aren’t in the water playing water polo they’re home, working active jobs – one, two and three jobs. These girls are out here busting their butt to make the United States look good. So when they’re out here playing and practicing, it takes them away from their work. So I said to myself, why not step in and try to help these girls out?”
