A$AP Rocky Says ‘It Was Time’ to Reveal Rihanna’s Pregnancy at 2025 Met Gala

After Rihanna revealed ahead of Monday night’s (May 5) 2025 Met Gala that she was pregnant with her third child, expectant father A$AP Rocky was beaming with pride to reporters on the event’s red carpet.

“It feels amazing, you know?” the rapper said of letting the world in on their good news, as seen in an Associated Press video. “We were tired of holding that, and it was time to show the people what we was cooking up. I’m glad everybody’s happy for us, because we’re definitely happy.”

When asked how it feels to be getting so much love from fans around the reveal, Rocky said: “That’s amazing. Honestly, it’s a blessing nonetheless because you know how some people in other situations at times can be envious of other people, but we’ve been seeing love for the most part. We’re real receptive to that. We appreciate that, you know what I mean? That’s love. Love is love.”

Rihanna and Rocky share two sons together, RZA Athelston Mayers, who turns 3 years old this month, and 1-year-old Riot Rose Mayers. Her first pregnancy reveal was her most low-key, when she and Rocky confirmed they were expecting by taking a stroll through New York City with Rihanna’s bare baby bump on display. Her second pregnancy reveal came on the biggest stage there is, when she headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show wearing an unzipped bodysuit to show off her growing baby bump.

She went major again with No. 3, choosing fashion‘s biggest night, the Met Gala, for the reveal. Following early photos of Rihanna making her way to the Met, she closed out the night’s red carpet just before 10 p.m. ET, wearing a menswear-inspired look topped off with a slouchy, wide-brimmed black hat.

Watch Kelsea Ballerini Pause Her Show to Help a Fan Announce Their Pregnancy

Kelsea Ballerini got to be the bearer of excellent news at her recent concert in Tulsa, Okla, with the singer-songwriter helping an expecting fan announce her pregnancy to her friends and family by filming an adorable video mid-show.

In a clip posted after Ballerini’s Saturday (April 5) performance at BOK Center Arena, the country star holds up the fan’s phone in selfie-mode while on stage and says into her microphone, “Hello, my name is Kelsea Ballerini, and I’m here to tell you that Maddy’s pregnant!”

Ballerini then pans the camera over to Maddy standing in the audience as the mom-to-be waves excitedly. “And she’s due in November? She’s due in November!” the “Peter Pan” musician continues as the crowd at the arena erupts in applause.

Maddy also shared a video of how the sweet moment came to be. Between songs, Ballerini had been interacting with fans in the crowd when Maddy’s sign — which read “Can you help me announce my pregnancy?” — caught her eye. “Yes. Yes,” Ballerini said immediately, her eyes widening with excitement.

The Tulsa show marked one of the final performances on Ballerini’s first-ever arena tour. She now has just a few shows left, including stops in South Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania and Toronoto.

And though you wouldn’t be able to guess from how comfortably she chatted with fans in the pregnancy-reveal video, the vocalist recently opened up about how challenging she used to find speaking to be during shows. “My biggest fear was talking on stage, to the point where I would literally get on my laptop and have the set list up, and I would type out word-for-word exactly what I was going to say and when I was going to say it every night,” she said in her April 1 People cover story.

“This tour, I’ve done none of that, and it’s just been so freeing,” she continued. “If I feel like talking, I’ll talk for 10 minutes and read signs and get people’s stories and stuff like that. And I don’t have a certain way that I set up certain songs. I follow the night and I follow what’s impacting me in the moment. It’s kept me really present for each show, and it also helps me remember each show.”

Lele Pons and Guaynaa Are Expecting Their First Child Together: ‘We’re Pregnant!’

Congratulations are in order for Lele Pons and Guaynaa, who are expecting their first child together.

The Venezuelan influencer, 28, and Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, 32, shared the exciting news in a social media post on Sunday (March 9).

“We’re PREGNANT!!!!!” Pons and Guaynaa wrote in a joint Instagram post, alongside a photo gallery showcasing her baby bump. “Can’t wait to meet you! We love you- Mom & Dad.”

In the heartwarming post, which was also translated into Spanish, the YouTube sensation shared several pictures and videos with her husband, including an ultrasound photo, a sweet moment of Guaynaa kissing his wife’s stomach, and another shot of the couple pressing their bare tummies together.

Numerous celebrities, friends and fans flooded the comments to congratulate the happy couple. “Yesssssssss !! 100 meses guardando secreto te amoooo,” Anitta wrote, while Paris Hilton left a smiling face with heart-eyes emoji. “Congrats, los quiero mucho!” Luis Fonsi added.

Pons and Guaynaa first met in 2019 and released their first collaboration, “Se Te Nota,” in 2020. The playful urban pop song spent 18 weeks on the all-genre Billboard Global 200 (where it peaked at No. 44), 25 weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart (No. 19 peak) and 11 weeks on Hot Latin Songs (No. 25).

After months of speculation about their relationship, Pons made it Instagram official in December of that year. Guaynaa proposed during Steve Aoki’s set at Tomorrowland in 2022. The couple tied the knot in March 2023.

The pair released their debut collaborative album, Capitulaciones, in April 2023. The 10-track album, a partnership between Interscope Records and Guaynaa, features eight duets, one solo track from Pons, and another from Guaynaa. The project spans a variety of genres, including urban pop (“Abajito”), reggaetón (“Natural”), reggae (“A Que No”) and bachata (“Todo Sabe Más Rico”).

“Lele and I beat to different rhythms. In music, I can tell you that it is quite cool, because she has a different thinking and approach and drive, she has other filters in her head when she analyzes music,” Guaynaa told Billboard Español in 2023. “My filters are more about the conceptual elaboration of the album, the musicality, the storytelling, the beginning and the end. There were many disagreements for that very reason, but at the end of the day, I think we managed to develop a project, and that makes us very happy.”

Congratulations are in order for Jesy Nelson, who is expecting her first child.

The former Little Mix member, 33, shared the exciting news on social media on Sunday (Jan. 12). In the post, Nelson and her partner, musician Zion Foster, hinted that they’re expecting twins.

“She’s eating for 3 now,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post, accompanied by a pair of baby emojis and a photo of Nelson proudly showing off her baby bump.

Cardi B Welcomes Baby No. 3 With Estranged Husband Offset, Shares Photos From Hospital

Congratulations are in order for Cardi B and Offset, who welcomed their third baby together a few days ago.

The “WAP” rapper confirmed the news with an Instagram post Thursday (Sept. 12), sharing photos from the hospital where she gave birth and confirming that their new addition had been born five days prior. “The prettiest lil thing … 9/7/24.”

Billboard has reached out to both artists’ reps for comment.

In some of the pictures she shared, Cardi cradles her new bundle of joy — dressed in a pink onesie and cap to match the pink emojis in the musician’s caption — while sitting up in her hospital bed. Other photos find the Migos rapper and their 6-year-old daughter Kulture taking turns holding the baby as 3-year-old son Wave keeps more of a distance, hanging out next to his dad.

The little one’s arrival makes the “I Like It” musician a mom of three, while ‘Set is also dad to 14-year-old Jordan, 9-year-old Kody and 9-year-old Kalea from past relationships.

Cardi announced that she was pregnant with baby No. 3 at the beginning of August, the same day Billboard confirmed that she’d filed for divorce from the “Stir Fry” artist for a second time. Sharing photos of her bump, the Grammy winner wrote, “With every ending comes a new beginning!”

“I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!” she added at the time. “It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”

The former couple — who tied the knot in 2017 — seems to be on solid ground in spite of their split, which a rep confirmed to Billboard in August was “not based on any one particular incident … it has been a long time coming and is amicable.” Earlier this month, Cardi and ‘Set reunited to celebrate Wave’s third birthday, joining forces to throw him a proper birthday party.

The Funny Girl actress recently appeared on Katherine Schwarzenegger’s podcast BDA Baby, where she shared that the process of conception was “completely not what [they] expected” and that she had “two back-to-back very early failed pregnancies.”

She continued, “I had never had a miscarriage before. The first one, I was like, ‘That was weird.’ When it happened again right away, I was like, ‘Wait a second. Something is wrong.’”

Michele then explained that she and her husband stopped trying to conceive while she was starring in Funny Girl on Broadway. “It wasn’t until a little bit later [that] I had another [loss]. I was working at the time. It was super challenging to…process what we were experiencing at the same time, which was very painful,” she shared, before noting that she ultimately received an endometriosis diagnosis. She took “so many drugs and medications and [got] one thousand shots,” and ultimately got pregnant.

The Glee actress revealed that she is pregnant back in March with a sweet Instagram post. In the pictures, Michele — who is already Mom to 3-year-old son Ever Leo — posed with a silky white shawl draped over her shoulders, cradling her baby bump as it peeks through the fabric.

“Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed,” she captioned the post. Michele and Reich tied the knot in 2019. The couple became first-time parents the next year, welcoming Ever in August 2020.

I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”

Since the beginning of her relationship with husband, Justin Bieber, Hailey has been dealing with online scrutiny — something she says hasn’t gotten easier, especially in pregnancy. “People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy,” she said. “I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realize that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”

To help, she’s actually been savoring time with Justin before the baby arrives. “In the beginning [of pregnancy], it was super emotional for me,” she recalled. “Like, ‘I love this human so much. Congratulations are in order for Jay Wheeler and Zhamira Zambrano, who are expecting their first child together.

Zambrano made the announcement Thursday (June 13) on her Instagram page. “Bienvenida,” reads the caption. The four images on the slide see the couple embracing each other very lovingly.

To coincide with the news, the Venezuelan singer also released a new single called “Bienvenida,” dedicated to their unborn baby girl. “My life is about to change in a couple more months,” she croons sweetly against a slow pop ballad. Its accompanying music video follows the timeline of her pregnancy while she is embraced by her husband.

Lady Gaga Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumors With Some Help From a Taylor Swift Lyric

Lady Gaga didn’t waste any time shutting down recent pregnancy rumors, taking to TikTok to post a cheeky response video that includes a Taylor Swift lyrical reference.

“Not pregnant–just down bad cryin at the gym,” reads the message across her latest TikTok, referencing Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department track “Down Bad,” which debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 last month. (The full lyric: “Now I’m down bad crying at the gym/ Everything comes out teenage petulance.”)

Gaga also didn’t miss a high-profile opportunity to urge her Little Monsters to make their voices heard, adding: “Register to vote at www.headcount.org.”

The video itself sees Gaga in a dramatic black-eyeliner look, lip-syncing to a TikTok voice-over that says: “I don’t have to find an aesthetic. I am an aesthetic. I mean I’m sure there’s somebody out here right now who’s going into Pinterest trying to type up all these adjectives to describe me.” The audio was originally posted by TikTok user notpennyproud back in 2021.

The pregnancy rumors cropped up over the weekend, thanks to fans thinking they saw evidence of a baby bump in photos of Gaga attending her sister’s wedding Saturday with partner Michael Polansky.

Late last month, the Gaga Chromatica Ball concert film premiered on HBO and Max and hinted at the pop superstar’s next musical era, with a message reading “LG7 GAGA RETURNS” flashing onscreen at the end. And that won’t be her only major project: Her turn as Harley Quinn in the upcoming Joker: Folie à Deux musical sequel — alongside original Joker star Joaquin Phoenix — is set to hit theaters on Oct. 4.

Victoria Beckham Recalls How Tabloids Pressured Her to Lose Weight After Welcoming Son Brooklyn

In a new interview with Grazia published Tuesday (May 28), Victoria Beckham opened up about how paparazzi and tabloids criticized her figure in the months after she and husband David Beckham welcomed their firstborn son Brooklyn, which made her feel pressured to lose weight.

Recalling the aftermath of her oldest child’s birth in March 1999, the former Spice Girl said, “I remember after I had Brooklyn, my first outing was on the front page of the newspaper, with arrows pointing to where I needed to lose weight.”

“I’ve had so much said about me and I’m sure that has robbed me of some experiences,” she continued in the article. “I never want to look like I’m complaining, but there were times in the past that I haven’t felt confident enough to sit on a beach and watch my children play.”

“Those things can affect how you feel and conduct yourself in public,” Posh added. “Now, if paparazzi want to take a picture and say something – too bad, it doesn’t bother me in the same way.”

The Beckhams share a total of four kids, with son Romeo coming along in September 2002 after Brooklyn. They welcomed son Cruz in 2005, followed by daughter Harper in 2011.

While speaking to the publication, Victoria also shared that her family’s collective use of social media has allowed her to show the world a different side of her. “For so long people had this opinion of me that I was this steely-faced ice queen because of the paparazzi pictures and the story that the media would paint,” she said. “I like to laugh at myself. There’s always humor in what we do … They showed the world who I really was. That is the real me.”

The interview comes about a month after the beauty and clothing mogul celebrated her 50th birthday with a grand party, which was attended by Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell — aka Victoria’s Spice Girls bandmates. At one point, the quintet danced along to their 1997 hit “Stop,” a rare reunion captured by David in an Instagram video.

“Best night ever!” Victoria wrote at the time, also sharing the clip on social media. “Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much!”
