Need something steamy to wear this Valentine’s Day? You already know Bad Girl Ri Ri has you covered, or, as far as the clothing itself goes … not so covered. With just about one month left to go before Feb. 14, Rihanna dropped her “V-Day” line of lingerie on her Savage X Fenty website and posted a red-hot video of herself modeling one of the designs.

In the Thursday (Jan. 12) video, the “S&M” singer poses in a black lace jumpsuit with a revealing heart-shaped cutout just under the neckline. “Phuck yo roses,” she captioned the post on Twitter, adding a red heart emoji.

The piece Ri models in the video looks to be the “Lovestruck Lace” catsuit — which, according to the Savage X Fenty website, is “crotchless.” Do with that as you will.

The catsuit is now available for purchase on the site along with lacy bodysuits, corset tops, bra-and-panty sets and more. There’s even a Valentine’s-themed jockstrap for the fellas.

Similar to the design Rihanna models in her video, many of the pieces have racy cutouts or stretches of transparent fabric. As Savage X Fenty puts it in a tweet promoting the line on the company’s official account, they’re “Hot from e’ry angle.”

The new drop comes just days after the nine-time Grammy winner attended the Golden Globes Tuesday (Jan. 10), where she was in the running for best original song with her Wakanda Forever track “Lift Me Up.” Though she didn’t take home the award that night, she and A$AP Rocky — with whom Ri welcomed a son last May — did unofficially win best-dressed couple at the event.

Valentine’s Day isn’t the only major occasion happening in February that Rihanna is gearing up for, though. Two days before the holiday of love, she’ll headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show — an occasion she also celebrated with a Savage x Fenty line of “Game Day” clothing.

Machine Gun Kelly and fiancée Megan Fox have hit another milestone in their relationship — the twin flames have been engaged for a year. To celebrate, the “Papercuts” singer shared a throwback video to his Instagram Story on Wednesday (Jan. 11) from the day he proposed.

The video features MGK delicately slipping the emerald portion of Fox’s ring onto her finger. He captioned the sweet moment, “one year ago under a banyan tree.”

The banyan tree Machine Gun Kelly references is the one he discussed after announcing his and Fox’s engagement. “‘Yes, in this life and every life.’ Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me,” he shared one year ago. “I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022.”

Fox also shared the significance of the banyan tree in her engagement announcement, in which she wrote, “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree … Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood. 1.11.22.”

Happy Lunar New Year! If you’re not familiar with Lunar New Year, which starts Jan. 22, the annual celebration — also known as Chinese New Year — follows the lunar calendar. It contains 354 days, versus the 365-day Gregorian calendar that you might be more familiar with.

2023 marks the Year of the Rabbit, an animal that symbolizes patience, longevity, peace and luck. The Chinese zodiac is separated into 12 astrological signs that are governed by different animals like the tiger, rat, snake, horse, ox and monkey. The astrological calendar repeats itself every 12 years, which means that there are a lot of people who were born in years that correspond with the rabbit. (Of course, you don’t have to be born during a rabbit year to get a gift.) In China, where Lunar New Year celebrations can last up to 16 days, the color red represents happiness, success, vitality, beauty and good luck, which is why most Lunar New Year products feature red coloring.

“The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that it’s the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun,” Osaka wrote in a note posted to Twitter, also sharing a photo of an ultrasound. “These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to.”

“I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure,” she continued. “I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom,’ haha.”

The athlete did not mention Cordae in her post. However, the “RNP” musician’s rep confirmed to Billboard that he is indeed the father.

Osaka concluded her note — of which she also shared a Japanese-language version — by writing that even though she doesn’t think there’s a “perfectly correct path to take in life,” she feels that “if you move forward with good intentions you’ll find your way eventually.”

Prince Harry’s highly anticipated memoir is finally here and it’s already a hit in the sales department. After debuting Tuesday (Jan. 10), Spare shot to No. 1 on Amazon’s bestsellers list and set “record-breaking, day-one sales” at Barnes & Noble.

With 2 million copies printed in the U.S. alone, Spare is expected to be one of the biggest books of 2023. According to Barnes & Noble, customer demand compares to the first day of Michelle Obama’s bestselling 2018 memoir Belonging.

“It is thrilling as a bookseller to have a massive release like this to start our new year,” Shannon DeVito, director of books, Barnes & Noble said in a press release to Billboard. “We are experiencing the most extraordinary first-day sales, buoyed by the explosive headlines and litany of press. The leaking of extracts has only heightened the frenzy and is drawing customers into our bookstores in amazing numbers. The appeal of Spare is vast, piquing the interest of both fans and followers of the Sussexes, as well as their critics, and anyone interested in the British Royal Family.”

Per the description, Spare chronicles Prince Harry’s “journey with raw, unflinching honesty” while sharing “insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.”

The father of two gets candid about grieving the death of his mother, Princess Diana, and battling “post-traumatic stress and crippling panic attacks” as a result. He also chronicles falling in love with Meghan Markle and later being “preyed upon by the press, subjected to waves of abuse, racism, and lies.”

“Watching his wife suffer, their safety and mental health at risk, Harry saw no other way to prevent the tragedy of history repeating itself but to flee his mother country,” reads the book description. “Over the centuries, leaving the Royal Family was an act few had dared. The last to try, in fact, had been his mother.”

Detailing his experience as one of the most famous royals in the world, Prince Harry goes on to open up about his beloved late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II , and the now strained relationship with his father and brother, Prince William and father King Charles III .

The 38-year-old royal promoted his new book in recent interviews with 60 Minutes (streaming on Paramount+) and Good Morning America (streaming on Hulu).

Spare is available in hardcover, paperback, Kindle, audiobook and e-book editions at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Target, Books-A-Million in addition to Audible, Google Play Store and Apple Books.

What’s Jessie J‘s go-to accessory these days? A barf bag. That’s because the 34-year-old pop star, who recently surprised fans by announcing that she’s pregnant, has been in the throes of her first trimester — a not-so-glamorous reality she opened up about in a revealing Instagram video Sunday (Jan. 8).
The video features a reel of clips filmed at different times during her first trimester, many of them showing the “Price Tag” singer doubling over in discomfort, her head occasionally planted in a trash can or airsickness bag. In one clip, she leans down into a sink and runs water over her flushed face, and in another, she breaks down into tears.

“I can’t even explain to you how sick I feel,” she says in the video. “Look at the state of me.”

“I was warned about that first trimester and it was WOOFY WOOF,” she captioned the post, adding a series of emojis to visually express the exhaustion and nausea she’s facing:🤰🏻🥱🫣🤤🤢🤮😵‍💫🙄😂😭😏🤮😳

But all is not bad. In a second video on Monday (Jan. 9), the singer shared with followers how delighted she is. “Happy Grateful Excited,” she captioned the visual, which shows clips of her with a big smile on her face, recording vocals, showing off her baby bump, and crunching into a giant cucumber as she rubs her belly.

The candid videos come just a couple days after the musician announced to the world that she’s expecting, a moment made bittersweet by the heartbreaking pregnancy loss she experienced a year prior. “I am so happy and terrified to finally share this… Please be gentle with me,” she wrote Friday (Jan. 6), sharing clips of her positive pregnancy test and ultrasound.

When she shared her pregnancy loss in 2021, the British star shared a raw, since-deleted post on Instagram that explained she’d decided to “have a baby on my own” because becoming a mom was “all I ever wanted.” “To get pregnant was a miracle in itself and an experience I will never forget and I know I will have again,” she wrote at the time.

Editor’s note: This story contains details of a suicide.
Three weeks after his shocking death, former Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss was laid to rest in a private family ceremony on Wednesday (Jan. 4). According to E! News, Boss, 40, was honored at the intimate gathering, with an unnamed source close to his family saying that “a larger celebration of life for the friends [he] considers family will be put together in the future.”

Authorities said that Boss’ autopsy found that his death was a suicide via a gunshot wound to the head. The medical examination, shared publicly by the Los Angeles Country Medical Examiner’s office, revealed that Boss was found in a hotel room when authorities arrived on the scene. Boss’ wife, fellow dancer Allison Holker Boss, first shared the news of her husband’s death via a statement to People. “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” she wrote. “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

The DJ first rose to prominence on MTV’s The Wade Robson Project in 2003 before earning the runner-up spot on So You Think You Can Dance in 2008. He joined The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a guest DJ in 2014 and later ascended the ranks to become a co-executive producer in 2020 and remained with the show until it wrapped in 2022.

DeGeneres shared her condolences in a Twitter statement featuring a photo f her hugging the dancer/DJ, writing, “I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.” A few days later DeGeneres added on Instagram, “Right now what I want to do is remember all the love and laughter I had with tWitch. He brought so much joy to my life. I know he brought joy to yours too. I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite moments with him. If you want to you can also share yours.”
