Timothée Chalamet is caught in between a lot of rumored drama following Sunday night’s (Jan. 7) Golden Globes, where viewers speculated that Selena Gomez at one point whispered to Taylor Swift that Kylie Jenner had forbade her from taking a photo with the Wonka actor. But in a recent run-in with TMZ, he said there […]

Timothee Chalamet reflected on a special 2023 concert experience. This content was created in partnership with Kara Major. Kara Major is an ambassador of GLOW Beverages.
Emerging from the dazzle of neon lights and the infectious rhythm of electronic beats in Miami, EDM sensation Kara Major is taking 2023 by storm. Her recent track “Everything Works Out,” fuses soulful lyrics with pulsating melodies. Featured in publications like SweetnSour Magazine and Earmilk, its success spoke volumes to her core fanbase’s zeal and the weight of the message she bore.

Major’s previous professional settings— a mix of offices, board rooms and sports teams— plays a pivotal role in her approach to music. Writing songs and constructing beats has been second nature to her for as long as she can remember. Major used music as an outlet to combat the day’s monotony and satisfy her urge to release her pent-up emotions. Drawing on both celebratory moments and heart-wrenching experiences, Major’s music offers not just entertainment but comfort and hope for her fans. With a sizzling new music video that dips in the abstract, Kara’s larger than life message is reaching listeners across the country.

Kara Major’s latest single “Glow”

Her latest track, “Glow,” is the third in her homage to mantric principles and has garnered significant attention from both media and brands. The single piqued the interest of GLOW Beverages, an electrolyte beverage company that is quickly gaining popularity. Partly owned by Kylie Jenner and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, the drink is a cult favorite for clubgoers and a guilty pleasure for techies. Now, Major is a member of a group of key influencers who are partnering with GLOW to connect with consumers, hooking onto both Kara’s song and the drink’s radiating personality.

Challenges and adversities have been part and parcel of Major’s journey. Every artist faces hurdles, but it’s these challenges that give music an edge and a rawness that listeners connect with deeply. Major’s ethos, which she shared with POP CULTUR, is clear: “Believe it to see it. Knowledge is the precursor to experience. Keep reaching for new information; new inspiration and new futures will find you.”

Beyond her music, Major has a greater vision. She is eager to collaborate with giants in the self-care and motivational speaking communities like Esther Hicks and Tony Robbins. What stands out is her belief that everyone has their own “inner music.” Major’s message to her fans and the world at large is rooted in the philosophy of finding one’s inner light and letting it “glow.”

With her unique blend of musical talent, introspective lyrics and a vision that transcends the boundaries of EDM, Kara Major is making her place in the industry and setting her Major message in motion.

While Gomez is the most-followed woman on the platform, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo is the most-followed person in general with 551 million followers. Another soccer superstar, Lionel Messi, follows with 432 million.

Gomez’s most recent post is a sultry snap posted on Wednesday (Feb. 22), in which the star is seen sipping on a cocktail at a restaurant. “I deleted this one time because I thought maybe it was too much but eh,” she captioned the photo.

The Only Murders in the Building actress returned to personally posting on her Instagram page in January, more than four years after she deleted the app from her phone and gave posting rights to a a member of her team due to her unhealthy relationship with the platform. “At one point Instagram became my whole world, and it was really dangerous. In my early 20s, I felt like I wasn’t pretty enough. There was a whole period in my life when I thought I needed makeup and never wanted to be seen without it,” she previously told InStyle.

She added, “Taking a break from social media was the best decision that I’ve ever made for my mental health. I created a system where I still don’t have my passwords. And the unnecessary hate and comparisons went away once I put my phone down. I’ll have moments where that weird feeling will come back, but now I have a much better relationship with myself.”

“I have experienced it. Twice. The first time was very difficult, the second was more manageable. I would tell those women not to over-think things and to live all the emotions of that moment to the fullest. Stay inside that moment, even if it is painful,” she told any new mothers reading the interview. “I know, in those moments you think that it will never pass, that your body will never be the same as before, that you will never be the same. That’s not true: the hormones, the emotions at that stage are much, much more powerful and bigger than you. My advice is to live through that transition, without fear of the aftermath. The risk is to miss all the most beautiful things of motherhood as well.”

As for the beautiful parts about motherhood, Jenner said “finding myself in the hospital alone with a new and unknown creature in my arms” was one of the most exciting things about becoming a parent. “It’s such a unique and special situation and it’s all about building with these little beings that you’re learning about,” she added. “There is another magical moment, though: when you bring your children home. It is perhaps the most beautiful moment.”

Jenner is mother to her 5-year-old daughter Stormi and 1-year-old son Aire Webster. She shares both children with rapper Travis Scott, whom she has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with since 2017.

Kylie Jenner is celebrating her son Aire’s first birthday on Thursday (Feb. 2), and the makeup mogul took to Instagram to share an adorable video montage of the year she’s had with her bundle of joy.

“AIRE. my son, my moon, my stars. best year of my life with you,” Jenner wrote alongside a series of clips, in which she’s seen laughing, cuddling and spending time with her son. “you complete us my angel. mommy loves you. happy 1st birthday. may God always bless you.”

Upon his February 2022 birth, Jenner and Travis Scott originally announced their son would be named Wolf but retracted the decision weeks later after thinking it over. (“FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore,” the Kardashians star wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”). Last month, Jenner officially revealed that he’s named Aire Webster.

Scott and Jenner are also parents to Aire’s big sister, Stormi, who turned five on Feb. 1. The Kylie Cosmetics founder posted an equally heart-melting post on Instagram for her daughter’s birthday, writing, “i gave you the gift of life and life gave me the gift of you. the most special girl. this little face. i will miss it as it keeps changing. 5 years of loving you and forever more to go. i will always be there for you storm girl.”
