Kanye West is facing another lawsuit about unsafe conditions at his Donda Academy, including that the bizarre allegation that the school lacked windows because the embattled rapper “did not like glass.”

In a lawsuit filed Thursday (July 6) in Los Angeles, former Donda Academy gym teacher Isaiah Meadows says he was unfairly fired after he raised concerns about inconsistent pay and serious health and safety issues — allegedly including overflowing sceptic tanks and dangerous electrical fires.

The new case came just three months after a group of other former Donda employees filed a similar case against West (who legally changed his name to Ye) and his private school, alleging they had been terminated after complaining about shoddy pay and bad conditions.

Like the previous case, the new lawsuit paints a strange picture of life inside West’s school and the Yeezy Christian Academy that preceded it. In one accusation, Meadows says students were left “exposed to the elements” because the rapper refused to allow glass to be placed in the building’s window frames.

“In the middle of the main classroom, a skylight was left without glass inevitably allowing rain to fall directly inside, where water would soak into the floor, which would lead to a moldy smell for the next few days,” Meadows’ lawyers wrote. “The skylight was intentionally without glass because WEST expressed that he did not like glass.”

He also claims that the school had “serious wiring issues,” leading to an incident in which an electrical fire was sparked “near the student eating area where wire was laid atop the ground, exposed.” Plumbing was allegedly also a problem, including a sceptic tank that would “overflow every other day, causing a terrible smell.”

In a statement announcing the new case, attorney Ron Zambrano called the conditions at Donda Academy “absolutely egregious” and said he and his client “plan to hold them accountable.”

“The unlawful and retaliatory behavior by Mr. West and the school directors have now been documented multiple times by other former employees who never even worked together but all experienced the same horrendous treatment and witnessed the same serious health, safety and education code violations, while all were subjected to the same fate,” Zambrano said.

In technical terms, the lawsuit accuses West, Donda Academy and others of breach of contract and of violation of several California labor laws, including wage rules, wrongful termination, and improper classification.

Donda Academy did not immediately return a request for comment on the lawsuit. A representative for West individually could not immediately be located for comment.

Much like the new claims about glassless windows, the earlier case against Donda included its own allegations about conditions at the school. The former teachers claimed that students were allowed to only eat sushi; that all students were required to wear black; and, oddest of all, that students were also not allowed on the second floor because West was “reportedly afraid of stairs.”

That case, filed by the same attorneys on behalf of former teachers Cecilia Hailey, Chekarey Byers and Timanii Meeks, is still pending.

If you’re one of the few who hate watching The Weeknd’s godawful show on MAX, aka HBO MAX, The Idol, you caught the dig at Kanye West.

The Idol is a hot ass mess, don’t take our word for it, you can head over to Rotten Tomatoes to see The Weekend and Euphoria creator Sam Levinson’s show get dunked on by critics and viewers, but it does have one highlight we can all root for, clowning Kanye West.

Spotted on TMZ, in the MAX limited-series fifth and final episode, Lily-Rose Depp’s character takes a shot at Ye and his love for Adolph Hitler.
Per TMZ:
In Sunday night’s finale, Lily-Rose Depp‘s character, Jocelyn, puts on a talent showcase for her management at her home in order to convince them she’s ready to go back on tour after a tumultuous few months.
Jocelyn’s management is skeptical at first, wondering if she’ll be able to sell seats … and that’s when the jab comes at Ye. Jocelyn’s agent says, “You know f****** Kanye was filling arenas until he decided to start following Adolf Hitler.”
Now if you need a refresher on what the former billionaire took his sad act on Info Wars with far-right Hulk Hogan, Alex Jones’ show Infowars where he had plenty of praise for Hitler and Nazi ideology.
“I see good things about Hitler … Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler,” West said during the episode that Jones lost control of as the rapper rambled on.
Jones himself filed for bankruptcy after a judge ordered him to pay $1.5 billion in damages to the parents of Sandy Hook shooting victims.

Kanye West allegedly still has presidential ambitions and, according to a new documentary, sought the help of a homeless man to run his struggle 2024 presidential campaign.

Spotted on XXL, a new BBC documentary, The Trouble With KanYe, Directed by award-winning investigative journalist Mobeen Azhar aired on Wednesday.

In the doc, new details emerge about West and him prepping for another run at the White House in 2024. One eyebrow-raising revelation claims that Ye asked a homeless man that lived outside the Cornerstone Christian Church in California, where he went to worship the lord, to run his presidential campaign.
Per XXL:
“They all said I was the most religiously erudite in the room, and Kanye started looking to me for my opinion on every topic that came up,” the man named Mark told the documentary makers. “He called me the following Monday, the Monday before Thanksgiving, and the first thing he said to me was ‘I want you to be my campaign manager to run for president.”
Failure To Launch
This latest revelation about West’s 2024 presidential campaign confirms what many already knew. It was not going anywhere. Following an unsuccessful run at the highest office in the land in 2022, YEEZY said in November 2022 that he would make another attempt.
Making up his struggle squad was alt-right political commentator Milo Yiannopoulos and White supremacist Nick Fuentes. The tights and sock sneaker-wearing rapper terminated Yiannopoulos in December and allegedly handed a pink slip to Fuentes, bringing back Yiannopoulus.
Reports now claim that Ye no longer wants to be president, and his current team is in chaos, with his staffers going at each other’s necks.
We hope that is the case because this country doesn’t need another moron in the White House.

Kanye West’s life right now is a joke that would honestly make for great television, but there was dead a** an attempt by the Chicago rapper to drop a comedy show, and now the pilot has leaked online.

Spotted on Hypebeast, tights, and socks, wearing rapper at one point in his career, wanted to drop a show modeled after Seinfeld creator Larry David’s improvisational comedy show Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The show’s aptly titled A Little Inappropriate pilot episode popped up on YouTube. West got help from Curb director Larry Charles after hearing the Chicago rapper expressed interest in making the show modeled after the hit HBO original show after watching one season.
The nearly 30-minute episode featured Ye visiting a fan for the Make-A-Wish foundation only to discover that the fan was not even sick—definitely, a situation Larry David would hilariously find himself in.
Joining West in the show was Don C, GLC, and ironically Curb stars Jeff Garlin and JB Smoove, plus Wyatt Cenac, who also had an HBO series, Problem Areas.
Per Hypebeast, Cenac revealed the “Through The Wire” crafter sucks at improvising but took the advice of Jerry Seinfeld by surrounding himself with talented people who could.
Sadly for Yeezy, that was not enough to get the show’s pilot picked up by HBO or any other network. But, for those BIG SAD that the show didn’t happen, you can watch it by heading here.
Kanye West Is Still Doing The Most
As for West, right now, he is going through it. adidas is getting rid of whatever stock of his ugly ass sneakers that are left, and he’s out in the streets with his “wife,” Bianca Censori, looking ridiculous.

Oh, and he is still trying to ruin our lives and be President of the United States.
Bruh.

The build up to Donda was a sight to be seen. A leak of documentary behind the album shows Kanye West threatening to shelve a Jay-Z verse.

As spotted on HipHopDX now the world will get a better idea of his very unique creative process. Earlier this week footage from a film documenting how his tenth album came to be leaked online. While we only got a little over five minutes worth clips the footage did not disappoint. The “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” rapper is seen in a makeshift recording booth in a room inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Here we see Yeezy reflect on his late mother who the project was named after. Additionally, we see him engage with some of his peers including Playboi Carti, Fivio Foreign, Rick Rubin, Mike Dean, Pusha T, and more. But the most noteworthy moment was footage of him handling business on the phone. Kanye is seen taking a phone call regarding the final features for Donda and makes it clear that if said talent isn’t in attendance for the listening party at Mercedez-Benz Stadium their verse would be removed.
“Everybody that’s not here, I’m taking their verses off,” he explained. “I’m taking JAY-Z verse, I’m taking — if there’s anybody not here on the porch with me, they’re not on this version.” Soon after he hangs up the cellular phone he had what seemed to be a moment of clarity while looking straight the camera. “How do you even describe these kind of conversations, bro?” he said. The JAY-Z feature in question actually did make it to the album on “Jail”.

Little Brother remains one of the best groups in Hip-Hop history and their impact and influence is still flourishing some two decades later. Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh recently shared in an excellent podcast interview plenty about their background, including saying that had a heavy influence on Kanye West when the Chicago superstar was early on the rise.
Little Brother sat down with the Dear Culture podcast, hosted by Panama Jackson. The three gentlemen discussed the early days of Little Brother, the impact of their 2003 album The Listening, and the nature of their relationship with their former bandmate, 9th Wonder.

Fans of the group are well aware of the track “I See Now” which features a strong verse from Kanye West and it would probably figure that the producer and rapper, a member at the time of the sprawling Roc-A-Fella camp, served as an inspiration but Little Brother says it was the other way around.
From theGrio:
Panama Jackson: There are a lot of groups in hip hop who will never be remembered. Y’all will never be forgotten. Like do y’all ever sit back, reflect on that part of it? Like y’all literally cemented a spot in a genre of music in hip-hop that will never be forgotten.
Phonte: Um yeah, I mean Pooh I’ll let you take it but I’ll just say. I think it was more so you know, Kanye didn’t influence us, we influenced him.
Panama: Yeah.
Phonte: So you know I just want to put that out there and make sure that’s clear. Pooh you can take it from here.
Panama: Make it clear right, I’m with you.
Big Pooh: Every now and again you have the moments where you like, damn, you know, look what we did. Or look at the impact, you know, that that we’ve had. But, you know, like, even when we when I saw they have put our name up at the Grammys when they was doing the fifth year of hip hop, and they had our name and it was front and center like that was that was one of the moments I was like, oh, censor word like, it was definitely one of the moments, it was just like, I expect us to always have quality. I expect excellence. But it’s still unexpected when people or when you step back and start seeing the high regard were held in. Not that we don’t deserve it. It’s just I’ve been so busy doing the work I don’t take a lot of time to. You know, sit back and acknowledge the work.

Even with the fashion world turning its back on him due to his MAGA ways and antisemitic views, Kanye West isn’t giving up on his designer dreams. But finding people to help him create brand new attire might be problematic, as he resorted to Craigslist to recruit help for his Yeezy brand.

Highsnobiety is reporting that Yeezus is combing through online applicants on Craigslist, and has even taken to his social media page to gauge interest from potential “interns” who might want to help him get his Yeezy brand back on track with promises of “a future in clothing food and shelter.”
See the Instagram ask here.
So tempting.

Kanye’s team went to Craigslist to conjure up interest from potential applicants who are already experienced in the field of graphic design along with photography, photo editing, pattern making, social media, warehouse logistics, apparel manufacturing, and product development.
Any one-man army familiar with all these fields will be rewarded handsomely with an hourly wage of $16.04 an hour. You’re basically going to be an “intern” who’s getting paid cents above minimum wage to run an entire company. That’s so Yeezy.
Back in the day, people would’ve been falling over themselves to be a part of the Yeezy team. A simple ask online and by word-of-mouth would’ve gotten the job done, but after everything he’s done over the past year, Ye’s name alone has become toxic to millions of people.
The posting comes on the heels of adidas successfully selling off its remaining Yeezy sneakers this past week in which users of the company’s adidas CONFIRMED app were able to enter raffles for Yeezy Boosts, Slides, and Foam Runners.
While most people have sworn off Yeezy products after Kanye went “Death Con 3” on the Jewish community late last year, sneakerheads and resellers haven’t and went in on the app for Yeezy Day 2023.
Seeing that there’s still a niche for his attire out in the general public, Ye might feel emboldened to continue to drop new clothing and footwear to his millions of adoring fans. The thing is, will they still gobble up his merchandise without the co-signature of big-time brands like Nike and adidas?
Highsnobiety reports:
Maybe Ye’s new interns will help him reconstruct those since-destroyed YEEZY shelters, though. Better than living in the past.
But worth working 40+ hours a week at just over minimum wage? You’d think not but, then again, remember that Ye’s fans have stuck with him through hate speech and social media meltdowns. A little cheap labor is presumably a small ask.
Those interns will more than likely be helping rebuild Yeezy shelters on their lunch break after figuring out warehouse logistics and before breaking down apparel manufacturing.

That being said, don’t be surprised if hundreds of people apply for the position, as Kanye still does have a devoted fanbase for whom he can do no wrong. They may come with MAGA hats and Swastika tattoos, but they’ll come.

Ye’s lawyers stay busy. Kanye West is being sued by the photographer whose phone he evidently grabbed and hurled back in January.
TMZ reports that Nichol Lechmanik is suing West for assault, battery and negligence.
In January, Ye got into a heated confrontation with paparazzi as he was driving away from his daughter North West’s basketball game, along with his new wife Bianca Censori. Apparently, Ye noticed he was being followed and stopped to confront the photographers.

Lechmanik wasn’t even the first photographer Ye argued with, but soon enough his attention turned to her.
Reports TMZ:

According to one of the photogs, Nichol Lechmanik, Ye was angrily confronting a different paparazzo, going through the man’s pockets … and she claims she feared the rapper might have had a weapon on him.
In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Lechmanik says she was terrified he would come after her next … and he did. Video shows Ye approaching her as she sat in the driver’s seat of her car, recording him with her phone and yelling, “You all ain’t gonna run up on me like that!”
Ye told her, “If I say stop, stop with your cameras.” Then he ripped her phone out of her hands and tossed it — she says it landed in oncoming traffic.
We are going to point out the whole scary Black man trope that’s being insinuated here, but Ye didn’t do himself any favors in that regard. And she thought Ye might have a weapon, really?
Regardless, the incident was caught on video, so expect a settlement. Although Ye was named a suspect in local law enforcement’s battery investigation—and despite a long history of beefing with photographers—he was never charged.

As of late, Kim Kardashian has been more open to talking about her feelings and experiences during her marriage to Kanye West, and now she’s revealing that it was Kanye West who actually started the rumor that she had an affair with Drake.

According to BuzzFeed, Kim Kardashian exposed the source behind the whole “Kim and Drake” rumor, and it came from non other than her own husband at the time. After Drake dropped the “Kiki do you love me?” line in his hit song “In My Feelings,” social media went crazy with conspiracy theories that he was referring to Kim Kardashian, who at the time was married to his rival, Kanye West. Naturally, this led to Kanye calling out Drake for being “disrespectful” even though Kim denied having ever hooked up with the King of The North.

Heck, Drake even sampled Kim K’s voice in a new song just last month. Was he trolling Kanye? No one knows but Kanye hasn’t responded to the cut thus far.
Now, all these years later, Kim is looking back on the situation and pulled Kanye’s card for the role he played in the embarrassing situation. In this week’s episode of The Kardashians, she dropped a bombshell that no one saw coming… though, we probably should’ve.
BuzzFeed reports:
“The one that was supposed to protect me, and still does interviews saying they will be my forever protector, is the one that is hurting me the most,” Kim tells Kris. “He was the one that started a rumor that said I was hooking up with Drake, having an affair — our whole marriage he accused me of that publicly.”
She continued: “The person that’s supposed to protect me the most publicly would accuse me of having an affair throughout our whole marriage,” adding, “I really can’t wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector.”
Honestly, we shouldn’t be surprised. Kanye West was and still is on some other sh*t.
Ever since Kanye got married to Bianca Censori he’s left Kim alone (for the most part) so we doubt he’ll respond to herallegation, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he mentions it at some point on a social media post. Sometimes it seems like the man just can’t help himself.
What do y’all think of Kim Kardashian revealing it was Kanye West who started the Drake affair rumor? Let us know in the comments section below.

The GAP has now jumped aboard the sue Kanye West train. Apparently his team made changes to a retail store without approval.

As spotted on TMZ the Chicago, Illinois native just got hit with another lawsuit. This time it is his short lived apparel partner that he severed ties with back last year. Apparently his team at Yeezy leased a property at 1360 E. 6th Street in Los Angeles, California but made several changes to the brick and mortar location that were not permissible as per the lease. Some of the unapproved alterations include constructing an exterior ramp located near the parking lot, making a tunnel in the lot, erecting a wall, uninstalling several ceiling lights and removing three bathrooms. “By making and not repairing or restoring the foregoing alterations of the premises that [West] made without Gap’s participation or approval, [West] breached the strategic agreement and directly and proximately caused Gap to incur expenses to repair and restore the premises” the lawsuit reads.

The property management agency Art City Center has since filed against The GAP and in turn The GAP is seeking Kanye to fit the bill for the damages. The two brands announced a partnership back in June 2020 but things came crashing down when Ye went full antisemite. “Antisemitism, racism and hate in any form are inexcusable and not tolerated in accordance with our values,” Gap said in a statement at the time of the scandal. But to hear Kanye tell it he left the deal on his own accord. “Everyone knows that I’m the leader, I’m the king,” West said during a CNBC interview. A king can’t live in someone else’s castle. A king has to make his own castle.”

Kanye nor a representative from his team has yet to respond to the matter.
