Kanye West has once again found himself at the center of an X storm, this time directing his ire at rapper J. Cole.

The drama ignited when a fan posted a clip from Cole’s verse on Benny the Butcher’s “Johnny P’s Caddy,” claiming that Cole had spared Kendrick Lamar in the 2024 rap battle. The tweet suggested that Cole’s absence in the aftermath left Kendrick to dominate Drake, which rubbed Ye the wrong way. Kanye fired back with a rant that quickly spiraled out of control.

Kanye’s frustration boiled over as he expressed his distaste for J. Cole’s music, tweeting, “I hate J Cole music so much. It’s like between Kendrick and J Cole I bet you industry plants have been accosted with a J Cole Super Bowl commercial with no SZA song to save it.”
This bizarre statement set the tone for a series of increasingly absurd comments, including a strange jibe at J. Cole’s fanbase: “No one listens to J. Cole after losing their virginity.” The outburst seemed to hit a personal nerve, as Kanye continued to fuel the fire with more vitriol. The feud took an interesting turn when fans resurfaced J. Cole’s 2016 track “False Prophets,” a song many speculated was about Kanye himself.
The timing of Kanye’s rant seemed eerily similar to the themes in the track. With the sequence of events unfolding almost like the song’s lyrics, fans couldn’t help but draw comparisons, suggesting that the feud was a full-circle moment.

Kanye West, also known as Ye, has been on a weeks-long rant on Twitter discussing everything from his connection to Diddy, along with harsh critiques of the Jewish community and fellow artists. In a new interview with DJ Akademiks, Kanye West donned an all-Black KKK hood and wore a swastika chain during the meandering and bizarre chat.
On Sunday, Ye, aka Kanye West, was joined by DJ Akademiks, who traveled out to Los Angeles to meet with the Chicago native. As seen in Big Ak’s video that he shared on social media, the planning of the meetup with Ye didn’t go off without a hitch, and it appeared that West wanted Ak to perform the interview in China or Japan, as he claims not to feel safe in the United States.

Some 13 minutes into the video, Ak finally gets to Ye’s hotel room, where the producer is seen wearing a Black Sean John shirt with white lettering and the aforementioned bejeweled chain. At minute 16:10, Ye emerges with the KKK outfit and the pair launch into their chat.
There are far too many moments to highlight, but chief among them was Ye saying that he didn’t intend to have children with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Kardashian and West are the parents of North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Ye also stood on business regarding the comments he made about former collaborator Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and seemingly defended what he said about their children.
The conversation between Kanye West, aka Ye, and DJ Akademiks can be viewed below.

On Tuesday (March 25), singer-songwriter Alice Merton filed a lawsuit against Ye fka Kanye West in a federal court in California for using a sample of one of her songs after she denied his request. In the documents of the lawsuit, Merton states that West sampled her 2022 song “Blindside” for use in his song “Gun To My Head” featuring Kid Cudi and Ty Dolla $ign. She states that the discovery left her “understandably shocked and humiliated” to be associated with West after he previewed the song at a Vultures listening event in Miami, Florida, in December 2023.

West would later release “Gun To My Head” as part of a deluxe digital release of Vultures 2 last August. The lawsuit alleges that West had requested approval from Merton’s publisher, BMG, to use “Blindside” through Alien Music Services. When denied, Kanye West’s representatives followed up by asking the reason for the denial. BMG responded that “the artist’s values are contrary to our values” and that Merton was “unwilling to compromise her personal beliefs and wanted not to be associated with Ye in any manner.”

The publisher further revealed that Merton has “close ties to the holocaust through Jewish family members who survived its horrors” and that West’s “antisemitic, racist remarks” were contrary to her beliefs. The lawsuit also shares that Merton sustained a barrage of online threats and abuse from fans who were upset over “Gun To My Head” not being on the initial edition of Vultures 2. BMG had sent a cease and desist letter requesting written compliance to stop further copyright violations to West, which were then ignored. The German singer-songwriter even expressed that she has stopped performing the songs at her concerts and decided against traveling to the U.S. “for fear of confrontation or potential violence against her.”

The lawsuit is the latest action against West for copyright infringement by other musical artists. The estate of Donna Summer sued West last February for sampling her song “I Feel Love” without permission, stating that it “wanted no association with West’s controversial history.” Legendary metal singer Ozzy Osbourne also threatened to sue the Bully rapper for trying to use a Black Sabbath sample after being denied, “because he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many.”

Kanye West has set his sights on Jim Jones as his latest target, airing out grievances in a fiery social media rant.

In an all-caps tweet, Ye didn’t hold back, writing, “F*CK JIM JONES.” The outburst stems from allegations that Jones pocketed a $2 million payment for introducing Ye to a crypto specialist known as Mr. Pink without ever informing him.

Ye never one to shy away from dramatic storytelling, likened the situation to a Quentin Tarantino film, tweeting: “I KNOW THIS GONNA SOUND LIKE SOME TERRENTINO [Tarantino] MOVIE BUT HERE GOES.” He then detailed his frustration, claiming that Jones facilitated the introduction under the guise of friendship but secretly collected a multi-million-dollar fee behind his back. “SOOO JIM JONES GOT PAID 2 MILLION TO INTRODUCE ME TO A GENTLEMAN NAME MR PINK TO DISCUSS MY CRYPTO COIN AND NEVER TOLD ME HE WAS GETTING 2 MILLION AND NEVER CUT ME IN.”

Jim was quick to clear the air:

Despite the explosive accusations, Ye surprisingly softened his tone toward the end of his rant. The Chicago rapper clarified that he actually has love for Jim Jones and promised not to go “full Ye mode” on him. Given Kanye’s history of high-profile feuds and unpredictable social media behavior, it remains to be seen whether this is the last we’ll hear about his beef with Capo or just the beginning of another wild chapter in Ye’s ever-unfolding saga.

Recently, Kanye West was spotted in Tokyo with rapper Jim Jones, and their appearance has sparked curiosity among fans and media alike. The two were seen hanging out, with Jones also making a guest appearance during Kanye’s interview with Justin LaBoy.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé do not play about their name or their family. The couple are said to be considering taking legal action against Kanye West.

Page Six is exclusively reporting that the Carters might be taking their former friend and collaborator to court over his recent social media posts. Earlier this week, Kanye West made some very offensive remarks about their youngest children suggesting that they may be mentally challenged. While he quickly deleted the post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the damage was already done.

The celebrity news outlet has spoken to a source who claims is close to the family and reports that Jay-Z and Beyoncé “will absolutely not stand for it.” The unnamed individual went on to add that the couple are considering taking the matter to court. “Jay-Z and Beyoncé are aware of the posts Kanye has since deleted and are discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter.”

While neither Jay-Z or Beyoncé have to yet to publicly comment on Kanye’s insult it seems Tina Knowles addressed it via her most recent joke segment. “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum? He has a meltdown,” she said. Tina went on to smile before adding “Y’all know that’s funny.”

It’s time to acknowledge what has become painfully obvious: Kanye West’s legacy has imploded.

For years, we have watched his erratic descent play out in real time—his social media meltdowns, his desperate cries for attention, and his shameless alignment with the very people who spit in his mother’s face. But his latest unhinged rants on X, coupled with his long-standing pattern of disrespect toward the Black community, make it clear: this isn’t just an evolution. This is a self-inflicted catastrophe.

The tragic irony is that Kanye’s mother, Dr. Donda West, was a beacon of Black excellence. A scholar, an educator, and a woman who championed the very people her son now tramples over for sport. And yet, here he is, a man who once rapped about systemic oppression and Black empowerment, now reduced to begging for the approval of those who openly despise him. This is beyond a fall from grace—it’s a betrayal.

Kanye’s downward spiral became glaringly obvious in 2018 when he proudly declared his love for Donald Trump, paraded around in a MAGA hat, and told a room full of people at TMZ that slavery was a choice. That moment wasn’t just ignorant—it was dangerous. It was a direct slap in the face to the ancestors who endured unimaginable horrors so he could stand there and spew nonsense. And that was just the beginning.
That same year, he aligned himself with Candace Owens, a woman whose entire brand revolves around attacking the Black community while pandering to white conservatives. His obsession with acceptance from the people who mock him has led him to irrelevance and ridicule. From the “White Lives Matter” shirts to his latest delusional rants, Kanye has proven time and time again that he’s willing to sell out his people for attention.

His latest antics on X only further prove that his desperation knows no bounds. Attacking Black culture while simultaneously trying to weaponize his “Black children” narrative is the epitome of hypocrisy. One moment, he’s disrespecting the community that built him publicly; the next, he’s trying to rally us behind his personal drama. Kanye doesn’t love Black people—he only loves attention. And the sad reality? The world has stopped paying attention.

But perhaps the most unsettling part of this spectacle is not just his behavior but what it represents. Mental health advocate Bassey Ikpi once pointed out that mental illness is not always soft or sympathetic. It can be messy, unlikable, and even impossible to feel compassion for. Kanye is the embodiment of that truth. He is a man whose internal self-loathing has become an inescapable reality, projected outward for millions to witness. And yet, his wealth and fame ensure that no one can truly intervene. He will never hit the rock bottom that forces reflection. There will always be enablers, people willing to stand next to him for proximity to power.

What we are witnessing now is not just another controversial moment, another Kanye meltdown. As Ikpi describes, Kanye is a man orchestrating his own destruction in the most public way possible. He is ensuring that there is no path back, no redemption arc. It is not about whether what he says is right or wrong. It’s about the fact that he has created an environment where his self-hatred is reflected back at him by millions. And that, tragically, may be exactly what he wants.
This does not excuse him. Mental illness, no matter how severe, does not absolve a person of accountability. Kanye has actively harmed the very people who once uplifted him. He has turned his back on his culture, trading dignity for fleeting attention. But it does force us to consider the weight of what we are witnessing. We are not just watching a career implode; we are watching a man sever all ties to redemption, perhaps permanently.
For years, Black culture gave Kanye grace, excusing his missteps under the guise of artistic genius, mental health struggles, or simply misguided rebellion. But enough is enough. His latest spiral has shown us who he truly is—a man so addicted to fame that he willingly torches his community for a few headlines.

So goodbye, Mr. West. Whether by choice or circumstance, the culture doesn’t need you anymore.

In today’s episode of Nah, Seriously, It Might Be Time To Give Up On Yeezus, Kim Kardashian reportedly cut short a meeting between her daughter North West and North’s father, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, because she learned that two accused sex traffickers would be attending that meeting.

According to TMZ, Ye — who is already drowning in controversy surrounding his most recent bigoted tweet storms, including one in which he called the younger children of  Jay-Z and Beyoncé the R-word — invited incel advocate and pseudo-alpha male Andrew Tate, and Tate’s brother, Tristan Tate, to his and his daughter’s studio session, which is why Kim had to pull the plug. After all, it’s hard to call yourself a good parent when you’re inviting two men who still have pending sex trafficking cases to a meeting that includes your 11-year-old child.

In 2023, Andrew, Tristan and two others were charged in Romania with human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group.
Just Wednesday, Ye was on X claiming his ex, Kardashian, is a “sex trafficker” who is using their four children, which he tweeted after Kim sent a cease-and-desist notice to him, attempting to block the release of the track “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” which features North as well as a clip of Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to the New York Post.
So, just to recap: Ye accused Kardashian of being a “sex trafficker” and using their children in her alleged activities. Meanwhile, Ye is out here inviting accused rapists and sex traffickers to a studio session with his daughter, who is featured on a song that also features Diddy, who is currently drowning in sexual assault allegations among other heinous alleged crimes. (It’s also worth mentioning that Ye and Diddy recently bonded during a recorded prison phone call.)
It’s almost as if when it comes to Ye, every allegation is actually a confession.
From the Post:
Kardashian, West and their legal reps met with a mediator to discuss West’s recent social media tirades, which included everything from him confessing he’s a Hitler-loving Nazi to him selling swastika T-shirts.
Discussions also briefly touched on the Tate brothers, TMZ adds.
The controversial brothers arrived in Florida on Feb. 27, after which Florida’s attorney general opened a criminal investigation.
Last week’s hearing also touched on North’s involvement in West’s new song.
The outlet adds that the rapper agreed not to release the track during the meeting, but went back on his word over the weekend.
The Post has reached out to Kardashian’s and West’s reps for comment.
After releasing an audio clip of the song on X, Kardashian has reportedly been receiving advice from her legal counsel on filing for sole custody.

West alluded to taking a similar approach.

It’s wild how Ye keeps voluntarily putting all his family business in the street as if he truly believes he is the one who comes off as sympathetic. Like, bro, you’re fighting your ex-wife for custody and control of your children while keeping the company of accused rapists and sex traffickers.

Something is really wrong with Donda’s son. It’s sad.

Cassie isn’t here for Kanye West’s antics. After he tried to drag her into his mess. She clapped back in the simplest way possible by reposting a tweet from Playboi Carti that said, “Ye STFU.” In other words, she’s not about to let him play with her name.

This all comes after Cassie took a major stand in November 2023, when she sued Diddy for years of physical abuse. “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” she said in a statement. The lawsuit was settled in less than 24 hours, but the conversation about Diddy’s alleged abuse didn’t die down.

So for Kanye to try and bring Cassie into whatever he’s got going on? Yeah, she wasn’t having it. Instead of wasting time going back and forth, she hit him with that Carti quote and kept it pushing. It was short, direct, and straight to the point she’s not entertaining nonsense. Cassie’s focus is on healing, speaking her truth, and making sure other women in similar situations know they aren’t alone. She’s not about to get sidetracked by Kanye’s usual chaos. If he thought she was gonna sit quiet while he tried to play her, he definitely got the wrong one.
