At the end of last month, sneakerheads went crazy for Travis Scott’s first signature Jordan Brand sneaker, the “Jumpman Jack.” With the success of the silhouette (sold out immediately), Jordan Brand is ready to drop new colorways as heads seem to love what Travis and Jordan done cooked up in the lab.
According to Nice Kicks, a new black and mocha colorway of the “Jumpman Jack” is set to release later this year. Though sneakerheads were really hoping the black, sail and red version would be next, it seems like the mocha’s are next in line to get some play.
Per Nice Kicks:
Living up to its name, the upcoming Jordan Jumpman Jack features a predominantly dark mocha upper in suede with a black mesh base, black leather Swoosh, and a matching black midsole/outsole combination.
The Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack “Mocha” releases in 2024 for $200 via SNKRS and select retailers.
We lowkey would’ve rather have gotten the black, red and sail colorway. But it is what it is.

Travis Scott’s signature Jordan sneaker line is finally about to hit the streets, and after a small shock drop went down a few months ago, the hype for the sneakers have only grown with every passing week.
According to Highsnobiety, the Jordan Brand “Jumpman Jack” is set to release April 30. Needless to say, these will be an instant sellout as the mocha colorway coupled with the reverse swoosh is basically a bank shot when it comes to sneakerheads these days. While there are a few colorways that are supposed to release in the near future, the white and mocha brown color blocking is up to bat first, and with pairs from the shock drop reselling for more than $700, you can expect these to be a hard cop.
Per Highsnobiety:
There’s also plenty of Scott insignia throughout the sneaker, such as his Cactus Jack motifs embroidered on the heels to the scribbled “Jack” on the translucent outsole, ready to wear away with time (or maybe even a single trip to the mosh pit).
The Jumpman Jack sneaker’s second biggest feature is the large strap over the forefoot, topped with raised co-branding and locking fans in for a raging ride.
Underneath these Scott-approved touches, the Jordan Jumpman Jack sneakers offer up a bit of nostalgia. The shoe’s overall shape evokes the feels of Nike’s old-school athletic shoes like the Mac Attack (Scott knows a thing about the model).
No word on how many pairs will be available come release day but given Jordan Brand’s history of only producing between 100,000 – 250,000 of their Travis Scott collaborations (millions of sneakerheads want these), we don’t have much hope that there will be enough pairs to go around come April 30.

The Jordan Brand rookie class of 2023 has been announced, and if you’re a fan of the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat or Orlando Magic, y’all can expect some Jordan Brand sneakers in your teams colors to be coming your way sooner or later.
According to Nice Kicks, Jordan Brand has announced that NBA players Marcus Sasser, Cam Whitmore, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Jett Howard will be joining the Jumpman brand for the foreseeable future as the brand feels these youngin’s have a bright future ahead of them. While they’re not officially down with the GOAT’s brand, Jaquez Jr., Howard and Sasser are already familiar with their new digs as they attended Jordan Brand-sponsored schools during their collegiate careers. Their sneaker collection has to be hella impressive.
Nice Kicks reports:
“One of the main reasons Jordan Brand stands out is because of its connection to its community and giving back,” said Miami Heat guard Jaquez Jr. “I have a family scholarship fund in association with the Latino Bruin Association at UCLA that helps Latin American kids earn scholarships and ensure money is not a reason these kids don’t have an education. I’m excited to continue to get involved with giving back by signing with Jordan Brand.”
Sasser, Whitmore, Jaquez Jr., and Howard will wear the Air Jordan 38, the Jordan Tatum 1, and other models within the Jordan line for the 2023-2024 NBA season while they carry on the Air Jordan legacy.
“From starting on Team Melo’s 7th grade squad to being an official Jordan Brand athlete, this is crazy,” said Houston Rockets forward Cam Whitmore. “I’ve been rocking Jordans since I was a youngin, and I’m very grateful and appreciative to be a part of this family.”
Man y’all already know they’re going to be getting all the exclusives too. Can’t even hate on them, they’ve earned their sneaker plug through their athleticism and commitment to the game. We might lowkey hate on any NBA player who gets any of those unreleased Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4s though. We need those, Jordan Brand!! Why do you hate us?!
What do y’all think of Jordan Brand’s latest editions to their family? Should they have chosen anyone else? Let us know in the comments section below.

The New York Yankees might be having a horrible season, but their franchise player, Aaron Judge, continues to win as the 2022 AL MVP has just signed on to become Jordan Brand’s latest representative.
According to Sneaker News, Jordan Brand announced that the Bronx Bomber will be joining their ever expanding family of athletes Aug. 18 via Instagram. And though he hasn’t been able to repeat the kind of heroics in 2023 that he performed in 2022 (mostly due to injuries), a Jordan x Judge line is definitely something that New Yorkers need in their life.
Sneaker News reports:

Considered among the best power hitters and team lifters in the game, Judge has become one of the faces of Major League Baseball since crash-landing in 2017 with one of the greatest rookie seasons in the history of the sport. Since that campaign, he’s been a perennial threat to the MVP crown, with injuries being the only obstacle in his way.
That would be the case for the current 2023 season; Judge was out with a toe injury from early June to late July, and it appears that it’s still nagging him as he’s slowed his production at the plate. However, at full strength, Judge is easily the most threatening hitter at the plate.
We just hope any Jordan x Judge merchandise that’s released isn’t limited to baseball attire like cleats and gloves. We wanna see retro Jordan sneakers in Yankees colorways and whatnot. Whether that actually happens is anyone’s guess.
But best believe you’re going to see a massive amount of New Yorkers rocking whatever duds Jordan Brand drops that features the Yankees’ best player on it.

A few months ago, Teyana Taylor debuted her first collaboration with Jordan Brand when she unveiled her vision of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom, and now we’re getting a look at an entire collection that will accompany the aforementioned pair of sneakers.
Hypebeast is reporting that along with the standout pair of Air Jordan 1’s that Teyana Taylor remixed to her liking, a capsule collection will be releasing along with the 1’s that will consist of some tees, sweats, and even a spiffy varsity jacket that’s sure to standout amongst a crowd.
From Hypebeast:
Taylor’s latest clothing capsule with the Jumpman is designed to accompany the launch of her Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 team-up. And like the kicks, the products lean into a “Rose In Harlem” motif to reference track 6 off of her sophomore album K.T.S.E. Highlights of the range include a cropped, red wool varsity jacket that’s adorned with rose patches on the left chest and “23” patches on the left sleeve as well as a black and brown coverall.
Other top include graphic tees that are also branded with Taylor’s rose logo as well as a mesh, long sleeved top. Rounding out the assemblage are cozy, gray sweatpants, a ribbed cropped tank and a beanie.
We’re actually feeling this collection right here.
No word on an exact release date for the kicks and capsule collection, but word has it that they’ll be dropping sooner than later as they’re expected to hit the shelves sometime within the next few weeks.
Check out the collection below and let us know if you’ll be picking up any of these pieces in the comments section below.

Sneakerheads are pretty aware that the Retro Jordan line of Nike’s sneaker division has been it’s biggest cash cow for the company for decades now. But we didn’t know just how big those numbers actually were until now.
According to The Sports Rush, the Jordan Brand has earned over $19 billion dollars in revenue over the past five years for Nike with numbers calculating that the swoosh brand generates $3 million every five hours thanks to Jordan Brand related sales. While we know that sales of the Retro Jordan sneaker line is what helped Michael Jordan reach billionaire status, the G.O.A.T himself only gets a small percentage from every Jordan Brand item sold.
Michael Jordan receives 5%, a percentage that is abysmally low, on every single sale from a Jordan brand product. As of 2020, he had earned $1.3 billion from his contract with Nike, the most by any athlete in NBA history by a wide margin.
That doesn’t sound right. But if those are the conditions that Michael Jordan agreed to which helped him get to a billi, it is what it is.
And to think Michael didn’t even want to take a meeting with Nike back when it was basically a startup company. Meanwhile adidas and Converse were the hottest sneaker brands in the streets. Luckily he had some pretty persuasive parents who browbeat him into meeting with Nike. They ultimately came to an agreement on a partnership that made sneaker history.
Since then, the Air Jordan sneaker line has produced some of the most iconic silhouettes in the game and continues to be the most popular sneaker line to this day. You’d think at some point Mike would try to renegotiate his deal or something. But ultimately, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, right? The man is a billionaire and continues to rake in money hand over fist on a yearly basis. Imagine how much more money he and Nike would be making if they didn’t drop so many unnecessary and unwanted colorways of our beloved Jordan silhouettes? Not hatin’, just sayin’.
What do y’all think of his Airness only getting 5% of the pie he helped cook up in the kitchen? Let us know in the comments section below.
