Jay-Z and Beyoncé do not play about their name or their family. The couple are said to be considering taking legal action against Kanye West.

Page Six is exclusively reporting that the Carters might be taking their former friend and collaborator to court over his recent social media posts. Earlier this week, Kanye West made some very offensive remarks about their youngest children suggesting that they may be mentally challenged. While he quickly deleted the post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the damage was already done.

The celebrity news outlet has spoken to a source who claims is close to the family and reports that Jay-Z and Beyoncé “will absolutely not stand for it.” The unnamed individual went on to add that the couple are considering taking the matter to court. “Jay-Z and Beyoncé are aware of the posts Kanye has since deleted and are discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter.”

While neither Jay-Z or Beyoncé have to yet to publicly comment on Kanye’s insult it seems Tina Knowles addressed it via her most recent joke segment. “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum? He has a meltdown,” she said. Tina went on to smile before adding “Y’all know that’s funny.”

Kanye West is once again making headlines for all the wrong reasons. If crossing the line was a person, it would surely be Kanye West.

The rapper went on an outrageous Twitter rant that has left everyone, from fans to celebs, stunned. This time, he crossed a major line with some seriously disrespectful comments about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids, sparking massive backlash and even calls for legal action.

In a now-deleted tweet, Kanye said: “Wait, has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids? They’re retar*ed.” As if that wasn’t bad enough, he followed it up with: “No, like literally. And this is why artificial insemination is such a blessing. Having retar*ed children is a choice.” The internet lost it. Fans, celebs, and even some of his die-hard supporters hit back hard, slamming Kanye for his vile remarks. People are now calling for Jay and Bey to take legal action, claiming defamation.

This outburst is just the latest in a long line of wild social media meltdowns Kanye’s been having, and even his biggest fans are starting to turn on him. This isn’t the first time Kanye’s been in the headlines for drama—he’s been beefing with anyone who dares to disagree with him lately. His most recent target? Playboi Carti. Kanye claimed they were supposed to drop a joint project after Carti’s I AM MUSIC album, but that never came through and honestly, no one was checking for that collab anyway.

Jay-Z has filed a lawsuit against the Jane Doe who accused him of raping her along with Sean “Diddy” Combs who later withdrew the complaint. In the new filing, Jay-Z is also suing the attorneys who represented Jane Doe, making good on the mogul’s earlier comments regarding the matter.
As reported in detail by NBC News, Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, filed a defamation lawsuit against Jane Doe on Monday (March 3) after she accused the Brooklyn native and Combs of raping her in 2000 when she was 13. From the moment the charges came forth, Carter has been adamant that the accusation was false and his team framed it as a money grab by attorneys Tony Buzbee and David Fortney.

A portion of the lawsuit reads that Jane Done’s legal team “were soullessly motivated by greed, in abject disregard of the truth and the most fundamental precepts of human decency.”
Carter also named the aforementioned attorneys and Buzbee’s law firm in the defamation lawsuit, which was filed in federal court for the Southern District of Alabama. Jane Doe currently resides in the state of Alabama. Jane Doe withdrew her complaint in February with prejudice, which asserts that a further claim cannot be made in the case.
Jane Doe was interviewed by NBC News, sharing details about the alleged rape that she claimed took place at the 2000 MTV VMAs afterparty at someone’s home. However, the woman’s story was reportedly filled with inconsistent details that didn’t line up and thus put Jay-Z and his lawyers on the offensive against Buzbee and his claims.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z threw yet another legendary Oscars after-party, and of course, it was nothing short of iconic.

The power couple, known for throwing the most exclusive and lit events, brought out the best of Hollywood’s A-list crew. The private venue was packed with celebs, and it didn’t take long for the party to become the hottest ticket in town. Some major names in the building included Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, who’s always serving elegance, and Keke Palmer, who’s been shining non-stop this year. Of course, the one and only Kylie Jenner made her entrance, turning heads with her flawless look, while Taraji P. Henson brought all the class and good vibes to the celebration.

The vibe was straight-up exclusive—no paparazzi, no drama—just a bunch of heavy hitters enjoying the moment. You know the energy was on 10 when the whole room was full of smiles, selfies, and people just vibing out. The food was fire, the music was bumpin’, and the outfits were a fashion show in themselves.

It’s no wonder Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s after-party is the one everyone talks about. The night was a perfect mix of luxury, success, and celebration of not just the Oscars, but the culture they’ve helped shape. If you weren’t there, you definitely missed out on the hottest event in Hollywood.
Jay-Z is known for throwing some of the most exclusive, star-studded events, and his annual Roc Nation brunch is the crown jewel. Every year, the brunch brings together a mix of A-list celebs, top athletes, and industry heavyweights, all vibing in one place. Held during Grammy weekend, it’s more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of success, culture, and power moves. From Hollywood icons to music legends, Jay-Z’s ability to gather the elite makes his brunch the ultimate invite.
It’s a reflection of his influence, not just in music, but in shaping the culture as a whole.

Tony Buzbee might need his own legal counsel. A judge is seemingly in favor of Jay-Z’s defamation case against the lawyer going to trial.

As reported by Rolling Stone, Judge Mark H. Epstein has given the Roc Nation CEO an informal nod of approval with his claims that Tony Buzbee was intentionally trying to defame his character. On Tuesday (Feb. 25), the magistrate held a hearing where he explained there is validity to Jay-Z’s concern and questioned if Tony Buzbee proceeded with the lawsuit ethically. He pointed out that the lawyer said he would not reveal the names of the defendants in the now dismissed sexual assault case until a formal investigation was completed. But in a social media post a user speculated that the John Doe was Jay-Z to which Buzbee liked the comment.

“When someone says Doe is Carter, and [Buzbee] ‘likes’ it, it’s not unreasonable to infer that [Buzbee] has just affirmed that he’s right, that Doe is Carter,” Epstein said. “Not having done the investigation we’d all like one to do is not going to be enough to show actual malice, I know that. The concern I have is juxtaposing that with Mr. Buzbee’s statements that he was not going to bring a lawsuit until he had done a full investigation,” Epstein said. “I agree this is the hardest question of the case, the ‘actual malice’ question.”
The judge would go on to question how Tony Buzbee proceeded with this high-profile filing. “If you say, ‘I’m not going to name names until I’ve done real investigating,’ and then you name a name, isn’t the implication that you did conduct a real investigation? And if you didn’t, is it okay? Is actual malice still not satisfied when I’m telling the public, ‘I did a real investigation and this guy engaged in child rape,’ and actually, I didn’t?”
Judge Mark H. Epstein did not seem in favor of granting Jay-Z the green light to move forward with his extortion lawsuit against Tony Buzbee, but the next hearing on this case is scheduled for March 26.

It seems Jay-Z is not done with Tony Buzbee just yet. The Reasonable Doubt rapper and mogul has filed a declaration stating the now dismissed assault case cost him $20 million dollars in lost income.

As per Deadline, Jay-Z is staying true to original claim of showing Tony Buzbee how different he is. According to documentation obtained by TMZ, Jay-Z’s legal team filed a declaration on Feb. 10 with the Los Angeles Superior Court. Outside of trying to get the sexual assault case withdrawn (it was formally “voluntarily dismissed with prejudice” on Feb. 14) his team lawyers also detailed the damning accusations cost him to more than 20 million in earnings.

“Mr. Buzbee’s actions undermined my relationship, and my company Roc Nation’s relationship, with other businesses in the sports and entertainment space,” the submission reads. “We have agreements to produce entertainment programs for certain sporting events. After Mr. Buzbee filed the lawsuit, the media reported that other businesses could end their deals with Roc Nation, and forced one to speak out and address whether these false allegations would end our business relationship.”
While Roc Nation’s partnership with the NFL is not explicitly called out in the language, it is widely believed it references Roc Nation producing the Super Bowl Halftime show. “Immediately after Mr. Buzbee went public with his false accusations, my company Roc Nation also lost other contracts in the sports and entertainment space that would have generated revenues of approximately $20 million per year.”
Jay-Z and his team also allege that Tony Buzbee purposely filed the lawsuit on Dec. 8 to overshadow the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King; which his daughter Blue Ivy stars in. “Media outlets reported that Disney was hesitant over my attendance at the premiere because of the accusations. I feel that Mr. Buzbee purposely filed this lawsuit on the eve of my daughter’s premiere to put me in the position of having to choose between supporting my daughter or hiding to avoid the negative press coverage.”
Tony Buzbee has yet to publicly respond to the claims.

A lawsuit filed by Jane Doe represented by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee against Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Sean “Diddy” Combs alleging rape and assault has been dismissed. Jay-Z, via his Roc Nation outfit, issued a statement after the lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice.
As seen on Variety, the lawsuit, filed Friday (Feb. 14) by Tony Buzbee and Antigone Curis on behalf of Jane Doe, was reviewed by the outlet in full. As the outlet notes, a portion of the dismissal stated that the new filing, “hereby gives notice that the above-captioned Action is voluntarily dismissed, with prejudice.” In essence, this case cannot be entered again as it stands currently.

A statement was posted on Roc Nation’s social media pages. We’ve shared a portion below:
Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed. This civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere. The fictional tale they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims. I would not wish this experience on anyone. The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed.
This 1-800 lawyer gets to file a suit hiding behind Jane Doe, and when they quickly realize that the money grab is going to fail, they get to walk away with no repercussions. The system has failed.
Jane Doe initially filed the claim last October against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that when she was 13 in the year 2000, the record label mogul raped her during a MTV Music Video Awards afterparty. In December of 2024, Jay-Z was added to the lawsuit.
Jay-Z immediately addressed the lawsuit in a series of public statements and legal maneuvers, aiming much of his vitriol toward Buzbee and calling the claims against him an elaborate scheme to pilfer money out of him.
On X, formerly Twitter, fans are reacting to the news and Jay-Z’s statements. No word yet has emerged from Diddy’s camp.

Super Bowl LIX was not only about the game, but also about the star power that filled the stands with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Celebrities like Jay-Z, Summer Walker, Ice Spice, Doechii, and many more made their mark at the event, bringing their drip and undeniable presence to the spotlight. As the Philadelphia Eagles triumphed with a commanding 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, the energy wasn’t just coming from the field. The celebrity crowd added to the electric atmosphere, offering their support and soaking in the excitement of one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

Rappers Glorilla and Megan Thee Stallion were among the notable attendees, but their presence came with a bit of drama (well, atleast for Glo). The two had made a high-stakes bet on the game, with Big Glo putting down $128,000 on the Chiefs, while Megan backed the Eagles. Unfortunately for Glorilla, her bet didn’t pay off, and she left the stadium upset after the Eagles’ victory, making it a memorable moment off the field.

Beyond the excitement of the game, the event showcased the fusion of sports, music, and fashion. some of our favorite artists brought out all their signature styles, further solidifying the Super Bowl as a gathering not just for football fans but for those with a passion for entertainment and pop culture. Super Bowl LIX wasn’t just about the Eagles’ victory—it was a night where the worlds of music, fashion, and celebrity collided, leaving fans with unforgettable memories both on and off the field.

Jay-Z has dropped a legal complaint against a lawyer who represents a woman saying he assaulted her. The woman claims that when she was 13, both Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulted her. Jay-Z has strongly denied these accusations from the start.

On February 4, Jay-Z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, sent a letter to the judge, telling her they were pulling the complaint. The complaint was originally asking for punishment against the lawyer, Buzee, for filing a baseless claim. Jay-Z’s team asked to withdraw the request without prejudice, meaning they can bring it up again later if needed.

Buzbee and his team want to find out where Jay-Z was during a Video Music Awards after-party in 2000, the time the woman says she was assaulted. Meanwhile, Jay-Z is still pushing forward with an extortion lawsuit against Buzbee in California.
Jay Z’s team stated, “ “on behalf of Defendant Shawn Carter to respectfully request that Mr. Carter’s Motion for Sanctions pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 be withdrawn at this time, without prejudice.” Even though Jay-Z pulled the complaint, it doesn’t mean he admits to anything. It’s just a move in the legal game, and Jay-Z is still saying the claims are false. The situation is still unfolding, and it’s unclear how it will end. But for now, this is just one part of a bigger legal battle that’s still ongoing.
More news to come as the story develops.

Tony Buzbee’s character is now again in question. Jay-Z has blasted the lawyer for not meeting his client prior to filing the lawsuit against him.

As per TMZ, Jay-Z’s legal team is taking umbrage with how Tony Buzbee goes about his business. In documents obtained by the celebrity gossip site Hov’s counsel call out that the controversial lawyer never met Jane Doe before filing a sexual assault claim against the rapper and Diddy. The new filing says the Texas-based attorney blatantly missed several “factual inconsistencies” in her story and much more.

“Initially, he deflected, saying Plaintiff’s ‘case was referred to [his] firm by another, who vetted it prior to sending it’ to him, and that his firm would ‘continue to vet her claims and collect corroborating data,” the documentation reads. “Now, he concedes that he did not even meet with Plaintiff before signing his name to the complaint, and fails to identify any evidence that corroborates anything his client alleged.”
Jay-Z’s lawyer also went on to question Buzbee’s business principles. “Mr. Carter seeks only to hold Mr. Buzbee to the ethical standards that constrain any responsible attorney who would solemnly sign his name to allegations in court.” TMZ contacted Tony about the suit against him to which he called “weak and desperate.” He also says that he not only interviewed Jane Doe prior to filing the rape lawsuit against Jay-Z and Diddy but four other lawyers did too.
Back in December an unidentified woman claimed that she was sexually assaulted by both moguls at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party back in 2000. During an interview with NBC News there were several inconsistencies in her responses related to the timing, her father picking her up and individuals she spoke to that day.
