Ticketmaster is once again suffering the wrath of Twitter much as they did at the tail end of 2022 over Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny ticket issues. This time, fans of SZA are taking to Twitter to complain that the automated queue system Ticketmaster uses prevented some from obtaining pre-sale tickets for the TDE vocalist’s upcoming European leg of her “SOS” tour.
Ticketmaster was trending on Twitter Thursday morning (April 13) with fans sharing similar tales of waiting in long queue lines via the web and subsequently being booted out. One user said that they were next in line to buy but was sent to the back of the line. Others have been waiting overnight to get SZA tickets to no avail.
As it stands, this has put Ticketmaster back in the hot seat after the Taylor Swift pre-sale ticket debacle, and the cloned tickets from Bad Bunny in November and December of last year respectively. Drake also filed a lawsuit against the ticket-selling company alleging that Ticketmaster misled buyers regarding the Canadian superstar’s It’s A Blur tour dates alongside 21 Savage.
Further, the company was investigated at the top of the year by the U.S. Senate judiciary committee in a hearing titled “That’s the Ticket: Promoting Competition and Protecting Consumers in Live Entertainment.”
On Twitter, Ticketmaster is getting grilled and fried for making fans miss out on SZA tickets. Check out those reactions below.

Daniel Caesar was riding the wave of fame in 2019 but it all came crashing down when he rushed to the defense of influencer YesJulz and demanded that Black people stop insulting her. In a new interview, the R&B singer walked back his defense YesJulz and apologized to the Black community.
Daniel Caesar sat down with Apple Music and was questioned about his defense of YesJulz, who caught the wrath of Black Twitter and beyond for wearing a shirt featuring the N-word. Caesar stepped in the line of fire for reasons unexplained at the time and was largely written off by many.
After some reflection, Caesar says he understands the backlash now.
“I completely understand the response. And in time, after taking time to get over myself and to really honestly look at myself and everything that was happening, I was wrong. I was wrong, and I’m sorry about that. For a long time, I was like, ‘You can’t do anything, you can’t say anything without whatever. You can do and say whatever you want, but it’s like for every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction. And that’s physics. That’s science.”
The apology comes at a convenient time considering the Canadian singer just released his first project in almost four years, Never Enough, which dropped on April 7.
On Twitter, the reaction to the apology has been bubbling after the interview aired and we’ve got that portion of the clip plus the entire Apple Music chat below for your viewing pleasure.

Keep scrolling to see the Twitter reactions to Daniel Caesar and his apology.

Joe Budden was recently named the top media personality in Complex’s Hip Hop Media Power Ranking list, causing some to come out of the woodwork with critiques as expected. Budden’s former co-hosts Rory Farrell and Jamil “Mal” Clay threw not-so-subtle shots in response to the list announcement, but Budden fired back in his usual impassioned fashion.
Over the weekend, fans uploaded audio of the New Rory & Mal podcast and the segment air reveals the hosts discussing the Complex list where Joe Budden landed at the top of the rankings. Mal can be heard on the clip calling Budden a “cat burglar,” adding to their ongoing feud over alleged misappropriated funds and a lack of financial transparency when the trio was working together.

Budden caught wind of the chatter and took to his eponymously-named podcast this weekend to hit back at Rory and Mal. Without naming them, it was clear who Budden’s targets were and the rant included some shots thrown in the direction of The Breakfast Club too. Budden has been on record saying that he and Charlamagne Tha God have a long-simmering beef but it never escalated to the point that it has with his former pod partners.
New Rory & Mal, like The Joe Budden Podcast, airs two episodes a week along with an accompanying video, and both shows offer exclusive content behind a Patreon paywall. Currently, Budden’s podcast is hosted by the retired rapper, and longtime friends Ice and Ish, along with Melyssa Ford and QueenzFlip recently joining the program in recent months.
The audio of the exchanges can be heard below.

Freaknik, one of the premier gathering events of the 1990s, will be examined in grand detail via an upcoming documentary on Hulu. Since the announcement of the Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told doc, folks from Generation X realize that there may be some explaining to do after this never-before-seen footage arrives on the airways.
Freaknik began in 1983 as an annual spring break party primarily for HBCU students in the Atlanta area. It occurred every third week of April each year after, growing in size and infamy after each gathering. In the mid-1990s, the event became less about celebrating Black college life and was a reported scene of sex, booze, drugs, and even assaults.
The actions that occurred at Freaknik were so out of control that elected officials, law enforcement, and business owners who frowned upon what the event morphed into collaborated on getting heavy police presence at the gathering. By 1999, the annual event was no more although attempts in recent times to revive Freaknik have occurred.
Past Freaknik participant and special guest Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell of 2 Live Crew fame serves as an executive producer for the documentary along with Jermaine Dupri.
A date for the airing of the documentary has not yet been revealed by Hulu.

Drake earned the reputation of being a calculated thinker in his music rollouts, and his latest single is causing a stir because of a famous voice that was sampled. In the new song “Search & Rescue,” Kim Kardashian’s voice is heard during the bridge of the track which has some on Twitter believing there is still some beef between Drake and Ye aka Kanye West.
Drake, fresh from rocking the Dreamville Festival stages in a standout performance packed with surprise guests, previously teased “Search & Rescue” on OVO Sound Radio which sparked a flurry of speculation among observers because of the Kardashian voice sample.
Now that the song is released in full, “Search & Rescue” is produced by Sad Pony and BYNX and sees Drizzy in a lovelorn state trying to make amends with a woman crooning sweet nothing such as “Take me off the map” and “I need someone to be patient with me” along with similar missives spread throughout.
Causing further discussion is the single’s cover art, which features Drake and a woman who curiously looks like Kardashian in motorcycle helmets largely obscuring their faces.
As most things are with the Canadian superstar, this could be either an amazing coincidence or another sly attempt of him showcasing his petty powers to the maximum. It was thought that whatever beef existed between Ye and Drake was settled after the pair rocked the “Free Larry Hoover” concert together and that still could be true. Still, Twitter has other ideas and we’ve got reactions from all sides below.

Jill Biden recently caused a stir earlier this week after suggesting a White House invite to NCAA women’s basketball championship runner-up in Iowa alongside LSU, something that has never happened before. The First Lady of the United States has since apologized for the quip yet LSU star Angel Reese is still bothered by the retracted suggestion.
Dr. Jill Biden was speaking at an event this past Monday when she floated the idea of bringing both the winning Louisiana State University Tigers and the Iowa State University Hawkeyes to celebrate the effort of both teams.
As it stands, many in the sports world saw the invitation as an insult, including Reese, who became part of the national conversation after gesturing toward Iowa standout Caitlin Clark in the closing minutes of the championship game.
During an episode of Paper Route, by way of the I AM ATHLETE network, Reese explained that she’s received calls from Dr. Biden and the White House attempting to make it right, but the Baltimore native is having none of it.
That’s why she wants to come out and apologize,” Reese explained to Brandon Marshall and Ashley Nicole Moss. “But at the same time, I don’t accept it, I’m not going to lie to you. I don’t accept the apology. You said what you said.”
Adding to that comment above, Reese said that instead of the White House, she and the team would rather “go to the Obamas.”
Heard that.
Check out some of the reactions to Angel Reese speaking about Dr. Jill Biden and much more below along with the Paper Route interview.

Roddy Ricch, one of the young stars of the current generation, and Rich Homie Quan, a talented artist in his own right, got into some mild back and forth online. However, the two rappers patched up their differences but not before Twitter got some hot takes off.
Roddy Ricch, 24, exploded on the scene in 2018 with his gold-selling mixtape Feed Tha Streets II and in 2019 with his double-platinum debut studio album Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial. Rich Homie Quan, 33, has a number of plaques on his wall for “Type Of Way,” “Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh),” and big features with the likes of YG, Lil Dicky, and others.
As we understand it, Rich Homie Quan hopped on social media to question why Roddy Ricch removed his verse from a DJ Drama track (“FMFU”) that was due to come out and challenged his rapping peer to a VERZUZ battle to the tune of millions of dollars. This prompted an unfortunate battle of generations who forgot Quan had joints on the radio long before Roddy Ricch, who definitely isn’t a slouch himself.
As it stands, both Roddy Ricch and Rich Homie Quan settled this mock meat tussle like men and hopped on the phone with Quan posting to his Instagram Stories that the pair “settled it like men” and apologized for going at the young star.
Hopefully, this translates into new music coming from the pair as there is enough room for both of these greats to eat out there.

Dylan Mulvaney was in the world minding her business and celebrating an epic moment with Bud Light after the beer brand commemorated her 365 days of womanhood via her face on a can of the brew. Major league MAGA loser and former struggle rapper Kid Rock made a corny and spineless threat towards Mulvaney and Bud Light after shooting up a case of the beer with a semiautomatic rifle.
Before we get into the fake tough guy antics of Kid Rock, let’s center Dylan Mulvaney properly. Mulvaney is a TikTok star with millions of followers and rose to fame by way of her “365 Days To Girlhood” series on the social media network to the tune of over 10 million followers.
Taking notice of this, the great minds at Anheuser-Busch decided to gift Mulvaney some cans with her face on them, and she couldn’t have been happier as evidenced by the video below.

The backlash Mulvaney is enduring at the moment has been relentless, but something she’s certainly used to dealing with since everyone doesn’t know how to stay in their respective lanes like adults. Kid Rock joined the Goof Troop himself by uploading a video of him using some high-powered rifle to shoot up a case of brews and giving the finger to Bud Light and its parent company in the process.

Kid Rock looks like a gigantic fool by sharing this video and right on cue, the MAGA asshats who love this kind of empty rhetoric toward the LGBTQ community are supporting him. That said, plenty of people on Twitter are letting Kid Rock know that he has bigger things to worry about than Dylan Mulvaney living her life on her terms.

Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States, made waves this week after she made a most unusual request in the wake of LSU’s victory over Iowa in the NCCA women’s basketball championship game. Dr. Biden said that she would suggest to President Joe Biden that both teams appear at the White House for the customary visit presented to national sports champions, which caused a stir online.
Jill Biden was in attendance at the final game featuring the victorious Louisiana State University Tigers and the Iowa State University Hawkeyes this past Sunday. Without a doubt, both teams were electrifying to watch en route to the championship contest with Iowa’s Caitlin Clark putting on a scoring clinic any time she stepped on the floor.
However, Clark’s heroics weren’t enough to defeat the strong team effort from LSU and, of course, the moment people can’t stop talking about is LSU player Angel Reese giving Clark a bit of her own “Can’t See Me” medicine.
As ESPN reports, Dr. Biden spoke at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver on Monday and extended the invite to both teams.
“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House; we always do. So, we hope LSU will come,” Biden said. “But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come too, because they played such a good game.”
Reese retweeted the news of the potential Iowa invite and captioned the tweet “A JOKE,” which echoed a sentiment shared by many online. Typically, the champions, including the players, coaches, and staff, are invited to the White House for a further celebration of their epic wins. As far as it’s been reported, a runner-up has never been extended an invite to the White House.

What we can say with confidence is that women’s basketball is just as vital as men’s basketball and March Madness didn’t disappoint on either side. Reese is also leaning into the discussion by not backing down from her gesture and saying she hopes to keep growing women’s basketball. Kudos to that.

Sukihana, regardless if you’re a fan or not, knows how to keep the cameras rolling on her when she’s in that mode. However, it was an older clip that had the raunchy rapper’s name trending on Twitter after she claimed to be of Nigerian heritage and it appears that Naija Twitter isn’t having it.
For context, we need to go back a bit to explain some of the weird back-and-forth happening between a group of Black Americans who frame themselves as “Foundational Black Americans” (FBA) and portions of Twitter users who reside in African nations.
Just a short while ago, an African Twitter user caused a stir after blasting the fact that most Black Americans only speak English, although that user failed to acknowledge how slavery and colonialism jacked everyone up in some form or fashion.
Predating this very nuanced but tired discussion was chatter around Ice Spice speaking about her links to Nigeria, which was reportedly celebrated by some in the West African nation. The same can’t be said for Sukihana, this after an old clip of her explaining that she is Nigerian resurfaced.
Sukihana tirelessly promotes a sexy image, even more than the aforementioned Ice Spice as evidenced by the Love & Hip Hop: Miami star’s X-rated OnlyFans content. To add, the clip in question makes mention of a certain body part while linking it to her reputed country of origin.
Adding to all of this is a recent NLE Choppa video for the remix of his new track “Slut Me Out” which features Sukihana and Sexyy Red being walked like dogs with NLE holding their weaves like a leash. Yeah, it’s out there.
As it stands, Sukihana has the streets talking again and Naija Twitter, an active segment of the social media network, seemingly has something to say. We’ve got reactions from all sides below.
