Kevin Durant

Rashad McCants, a former first-round NBA draft selection, is now enjoying a second career as a broadcaster who talks basketball and other matters. A clip of McCants is now going wide after the North Carolina native said that he believes Kevin Durant will go down as a better basketball player than LeBron James when it’s all said and done.
The statement in question came courtesy of the No Chill with Gilbert Arenas podcast with Rashad McCants comparing the career tracks of Kevin Durant, who turned 35 this past September, and LeBron James, who will be 39 this December.
In McCants’ view, “real hooper” to use his words would place KD over King James when it comes down to it. Both are definitely world-class basketball players with James having a championship advantage with four rings compared to Durant’s two rings. James is also the leading scorer of all-time in the NBA and showing no signs of slowing down as he leads the Los Angeles Lakers. Durant, currently playing for the Phoenix Suns, is still an explosive player capable of taking games as anyone else in the league.
Arenas didn’t push back heavily on McCants’ statement but did say something interesting about the NBA and the whispers some observers have shared that the league promotes different teams based on their market. Arenas said that the NBA thrives and makes more money when the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers are powerhouses.
There has to be more to this conversation as the clip never offers any manner of closure or following thoughts from Rashad McCants but on X, formerly known as Twitter, the segment of users known as NBA Twitter has plenty to say.
Also, to all the accounts trying to go viral off the clip, why not give those views to Arenas so he can keep feasting? That’s nasty work. We’ve added the clip of Arenas’ account below to help.
Check out the reactions below.

Drake’s Nike collection, NOCTA, has been a hit amongst his hardcore fans. While the same can’t necessarily be said about professional basketball players, a new addition to the NOCTA family might change all of that.

Taking to his Instagram account to announce some exciting news, Drake revealed that none other than Kevin Durant would be the new face of the NOCTA family just days before the Nov. 8 release of the new NOCTA collection. With pictures of Kevin Durant surrounded by stacks of cash (American currency too, not that Canadian ish), Drake announced in the caption, “EASY MONEY 💰 NOCTA Basketball, on and off court performance apparel. Launching midnight tonight EST on NOCTA.com and 11.8 on SNKRS and select neighbourhood doors.”

Now we wait and see if NBA players begin rocking NOCTA sneakers out on the hardwood floor. We know KD will at some point.
As for the collection set to drop Nov. 8, the latest offering from NOCTA will feature a travel jacket, headbands, briefs and even a engineered knit sleeve with a NOCTA branded elbow pad. Hella fancy.
Will y’all be coping any pieces from Nike’s new NOCTA collection? Let us know in the comments section below.

Kevin Durant calls himself Easy Money Sniper, and now we will see if he can live up to that in Call of Duty as the latest operator.

The writing was on the wall literally, and Call of Duty players saw it coming. Fans of the franchise figured it all out when they spotted Easy Money Sniper, the Phoenix Suns All-Star’s Instagram handle written on one of the buildings hinting he would be coming to the game.

Related Stories

That was confirmed when Call of Duty announced that the professional hooper, business mogul, and avid gamer would be the next available skin.
“@easymoneysniper is drafted to Call of Duty for his rookie season, ” Call of Duty writes in the caption of the IG post. “Kevin Durant will be available in a special, limited-time Store Bundle to be released during Season 03 Reloaded.”

Immediately after the announcement, the one question COD players had on their minds was if Durant would be in all of his 6’11 glory when he becomes available, making him a very obvious target in the game, or will he be shrunken down to the exact size of the other operators.

Durant’s addition to the game follows the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle villain, The Shredder’s operator skin.

We can’t wait to see how Easy Money Sniper looks and feels in the game. We also wonder how good Durant is in Call of Duty. He didn’t make a good impression in the NBA 2K Players Only Tournament.
On the other hand, his teammate, Devin Booker, is an excellent COD player, so he might be jealous that KD got an operator skin before him.
We are sure Booker will eventually get into the game too.
