B. Simone is currently catching the rage of fans on Twitter after she shared a message that she’s putting her close friends’ section on Instagram behind a paywall. B. Simone posted a message earlier today expressing that she will only be using that section of her social media page reportedly while she grieves the loss of her friend, Jacky Oh.
Twitter user @inmyownwrldddd shared a screen capture of B. Simone’s Instagram ask of moving her story feed to the close friends’ section, blasting the social media star for doing so in the process.
“B. Simone is asking for ppl to pay for access to her close friends as she “grieves her friend” Jacky Oh. How you could ever bring yourself to use your friends passing as a means to get ppl to pay for your close friends is insanity. This is beyond low & disgusting,” @inmyownwrldddd wrote in the tweet caption.
They added, “What goes through your mind that you would advertise your close friends so that ppl can pay to see you “grieve”. The family hasn’t even buried her yet and you’re already trynna profit from her death. Just disgusting man.”
Others shared in @inmyownwrldddd’s disgust and some of the following comments from others on Twitter towards B. Simone has been less than kind as one can imagine.
Jacky Oh passed away last week for reasons still not revealed to the public. She was the romantic partner of comedian DC Young Fly and a former cast member of the Wild ‘N Out series.

R. Kelly was once considered one of the greatest R&B singers and songwriters of his generation until scandals upended his massive stardom and all but shattered his integrity. On Twitter, an intense debate regarding separating the artist from the music kicked off over the weekend and Gunna found himself in the middle of this ongoing conversation.
R. Kelly, 56, is currently serving time for sex crimes and racketeering charges that took place in his native Chicago and in New York. The beleaguered artist still enjoys a high amount of support from fans who believe the charges levied against Kelly were exaggerated or false. Still, Kelly’s music is largely missing from the modern landscape in the wake of all his legal troubles as it should be.
A Twitter user posed an interesting thought over the weekend when @amarihanifahh asked, “So y’all can separate the music from the artist with R. Kelly but not Gunna?”

The tweet was eventually grabbed by another Twitter account and shared, which got R. Kelly trending on Twitter for the past day and a half.

The question was probably asked because another Twitter account shared the reactions of Atlanta clubgoers after the DJ inside the establishment played a song from Gunna and the entire club stopped dancing. Gunna, as most might know, has earned the unsavory reputation of being a snitch amid the ongoing YSL RICO case with his former compatriot Young Thug and others connected to the matter.
Because some people lack context clues, most missed @amarihanifahh’s point in that it’s something of a contradiction that R. Kelly fans will still play his music despite years of accounts and court evidence backing why they shouldn’t instead of Gunna, who was seemingly let go on a legal technicality and testimony that can’t be used against the alleged YSL gang members on trial. Further, there is a lot of civilian opinion on street business that at least 90 percent of Twitter doesn’t know anything about.
Check out some of the tweets below.

Gunna became persona non grata in the aftermath of the legal woes suffered by Young Thug and others within the YSL camp which lead to him getting slapped with snitching allegations. Gunna returned to the scene this Friday (June 2) with a new track “Bread & Butter” and the rapper hits back at snitching allegations while also appearing to address Lil Durk, Lil Baby, and all anyone else he feels switched up on him.
Gunna has kept a rather low profile as the YSL RICO case in Georgia is still ongoing with his former Young Stoner Life mentor Young Thug and a host of codefendants pushing to clear their names.
The track “Bread & Butter” is the first solo song from Gunna since a heap of accusations came his way that he provided evidence to prosecutors in order to secure his freedom from the YSL RICO sweep. From what we gathered online, the “Bread & Butter” track doesn’t have a home just yet but does seem to signal Gunna is back in the mix.
Lyrics from “Bread & Butter”:
Never f*cked a n*gga, always stayed solid/Kept it real with n*ggas, never lied and always stay honest/Love my bro so much, I never change on ’em/Hunna Wunna go and do the work, bring you the damn profits/Hustled on my own, I always did know how to sеll product/They ain’t gave me sh*t, I grind so long, camе from the damn bottom/Every n*gga speakin’ on my name could have some real problems/We are not the same, ain’t in my lane, I got my own column, yeah/Peepin’ sh*t, I’m seein’ n*ggas fall back/You b*tch-ass n*ggas got me as the topic of the chat/You switched on me when you know you in business with a rat/And the boy that’s like your brother, and nobody speak on that
While names aren’t given, fans online are assuming that Gunna is taking shots at the likes of Lil Durk and his past collaborator Lil Bay specifically while also addressing others who put the snitching allegations on his jacket.
On Twitter, fans are commenting track and we’ve got the video for the song and those reactions listed below.

Azealia Banks is one of the most talented recording artists of her time but has found more infamy in her social media responses and commentaries on pop culture. The Harlem star took a shot at The 1975 band member Matty Healy over his insensitive comments toward Ice Spice.
Azealia Banks went to her familiar space of Instagram Stories to unload off a series of shots toward Healy, who back in February of this year had some pretty unsavory things to say about Ice Spice. Adding to this, the Bronx rapper was recently added to a remix of Taylor Swift’s “Karma” from her Midnights album. Further, there are rumors that Healy and Swift are dating, which added fuel to Banks’ attack.
“Does Matt Healy know that no one thinks The 1975 makes good music and that he’s a lame poser with a trash cliche band name that actually means nothing,” Banks said, adding, “He’s clearly so pressed that a black girl who knows nothing about him or his music is making more moves and more money than him.”
Banks continued, “Does he know that black women are more coveted in the industry because there’s BIG BUSINESS in female rap. He is so obviously weak in the knees, thin-jawed, and drug addicted that it’s easy to catch his crusty ass lackin.”
Healy was a guest on The Adam Friedland Show earlier this year where the hosts referred to Ice Spice as “Inuit Spice Girl” and a “chubby Chinese lady,” prompting laughter from Healy. Healy did apologize for his comments on the now-deleted episode but hit back at critics in a new profile piece in New Yorker.
In the piece, Healy says of the controversy, “But it doesn’t actually matter. Nobody is sitting there at night slumped at their computer, and their boyfriend comes over and goes, ‘What’s wrong, darling?’ and they go, ‘It’s just this thing with Matty Healy.’ That doesn’t happen.”
On Twitter, reactions to Azealia Banks banging the gat on Matty Healy cropped up and we’ve got a few of them listed below.

Temptress has the proper stage name considering the shapely beauty knows how to work all the angles in her shot. While we don’t know much about the person behind the Temptress name, her images leave lots to the imagination.
Formerly known to the masses as Temptress119, Temptress reemerged on the scene with a vengeance and promoted her vision of body positivity and beauty. While one will undoubtedly notice the beautiful model from the front for obvious reasons, she’s actually a classic beauty not unlike what one would see in pin-up magazines.
It is that quiet confidence and knowing what outfits enhance the curves that make Temptress stand out among the dozens of top-heavy beauties. And if there are fashion brands and companies that tailor their offerings for busty women, she’d be a fine spokesperson for any brand.
On Twitter, the model also lets us in a bit into her life away from the camera but still serves an array of dazzling looks. She also invites us on her cooking and fitness journeys as well.
Check out some more images below and many thanks to Temptress for landing on our latest Baes & Baddies feature post. We hope to see more very soon.

Black Americans are gathered in solidarity today on Twitter in taking out their anger against a Jamaican business owner who said she no longer wants to do business with the group. Known as The Barefoot Island Lady (TBIL), the owner of Rustic Mountain Living sparked outrage after saying she will no longer rent out her cottages to Black Americans for short-term stays because, in so many words, Black Americans lack couth.
Twitter user @NikkiThaGodB1 was among the first people to share videos regarding the Barefoot Island Lady’s stances against Black Americans and we did some digging on her TikTok page to discover that she’s held this position for a few days now.

In one video, TBIL opens up by sharing that she will no longer offer short-term rentals of her properties and put the blame on the.  aforementioned group. The video can be viewed below.

In the following video, TBIL doubles down on her stances and even begins the video by admitting that she doesn’t think all Black Americans are the problem. That said, she continued to blast the group by saying that they were fighting amongst each other on her properties. She also called these particular guests “disrespectful” and “unappreciative” among other choice words.

If that wasn’t enough, TBIL tripled down and said she isn’t apologizing for vocalizing her disdain for the group despite the negative press and comments that have come her way since the airing of the videos.

On Twitter, Black Americans are naturally taken aback by The Barefoot Lady and her viewpoints. One user even dug up an alleged exchange between TBIL and a white customer with the pair sharing their displeasure of Black people.
As the saying goes, all press is good press but we’re wondering how this will play out for the business going forward.
Check out the reactions below.

LeBron James will have to endure a long offseason of people questioning his greatness from the comfort of their couches and game controllers despite willing the seventh-seeded Los Angeles Lakers to the Western Conference Finals. The Denver Nuggets, the top-seeded team in the Western Conference, swept the Lakers in their best-of-seven series and some NBA fans are unfairly making LeBron James the fall guy.
LeBron James, who turns 39 this year, spent years carrying the Cleveland Cavaliers on his shoulders and doing so at an elite level for years. After two decades of basketball, wear and tear is natural and the high-flying exploits aren’t there every night but all of the greats have off nights.
James didn’t have an off night on Monday, leading all scorers with 40 points and remaining on the floor for the entire game. James supporting cast of Davis and Reaves did what they could but they were outmatched by Nikola Jokic, who led all Nuggets scorers with 30 along with 13 assists and 14 rebounds, and Jamal Murray, who poured in 25 points and was electrifying in the WCF.
You don’t even need to be a fan of James or his team to realize what he was able to do while pushing the age of 40 is incredible. There are a few NBA players who spent 20 seasons in the league and many of them are in the Basketball Hall of Fame. James will join those ranks once he decides to hang up his sneakers for good and hopefully, he holds off on doing so after the bitter sting of the loss settles down.
The comparisons to the great Michael Jordan are inevitable and people making a case for LeBron being an inferior player will have all their stats ready for an imaginary showdown neither man asked for.
The jeers from the armchair athletes of the world will cease to matter and besides, anyone who needs to take off their shoes and then put them in their laps to tie them can’t rightly call LeBron James a bum.
But they’re certainly going to try.

Rick Ross taking on DJ Envy was not in anyone’s bingo card for 2023, but that’s exactly what’s unfurling in hilarious fashion on social media and abroad. After Rick Ross fired a shot at DJ Envy over hosting an upcoming car show in Memphis amid his own battle to get a permit for a car show, the beef between the pair has heated all the way up with Rozay seemingly getting the better of the exchange.
Based on what we’ve seen play out online, Rick Ross set off the beef by throwing a shot at DJ Envy for The Breakfast Club host’s upcoming car show, Drive Your Dreams, in Memphis, Tenn. this coming weekend.
The following weekend, Rick Ross will be hosting his own car show at his Promised Land estate in Fayetteville, Ga. despite resistance from neighbors and unsigned permits according to recent reports. The announcement of Envy’s show seemed to rankle Ricky Rozay, and he fired off a number of Instagram Stories slamming his car show rival.
Envy, a man of pride, fired back and tried to give it as good as he got it but it’s really getting personal after Ross invited Envy, his wife, and his sons to come “mop the marble” of his pool after Envy claimed Ross “Airbnb’s his crib,” in no doubt a reference to the fact that Ross rents out the property to production studios. How is that a diss? Anyway.
Ross upped the ante by inviting Envy and his sons to come clean and then breakdance at   the pool to the tune of Beastie Boys’ “Brass Monkey” track along with other shots that’d be difficult for anyone to recover from.
Based on the chatter from Twitter, it appears that Rick Ross has been kicking DJ Envy’s back in about the car show for 24 hours. We’ve got the reactions from all sides below.
