Jason Kelce is just like any other big brother: simultaneously supportive and protective of his younger sibling. In a recent interview, the Eagles offensive lineman opened up about his feelings regarding Travis Kelce‘s blooming romance with Taylor Swift, revealing he feels both happy and concerned for his baby bro. “On one hand, I’m happy for […]

Taylor Swift has definitely met the parents, and it seems like they are on Team Taylor. After Swift attended her fourth Kansas City Chiefs game in support of reported boyfriend Travis Kelce over the weekend, the tight end’s dad gave the singer said she belongs with them.
Speaking to People magazine, Trav’s dad, Ed Kelce, said that Swift is a “very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman.” As the NFL continues to double-down on the unexpected bounty of having a pop superstar in the family suite almost every weekend, the cameras caught Swift chatting with Ed Kelce during the team’s Oct. 12 game, with the family patriarch saying he found her “very genuine” during their first meeting.

In fact, despite having the No. 1 movie at the box office for a second weekend in a row with her Eras Tour film, Ed Kelce said he noticed something “very special” and endearing about the pop princess the first time he met her.

“We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around,” he said. “Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”

The small gesture meant a lot, but it also revealed something else to Ed Kelce about Swift that was even more telling. “I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo,” he said of Swift’s impeccable manners. “She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot… She’s very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away.”

Swift has already met Travis’ mom, Donna, who she sat next to at the team’s Sept. 24 game, followed a week later by a shot of Taylor with her arm around Donna during the Chiefs’-Jets game at MetLife Stadium. On Sunday, she made it to her fourth Chiefs game, where she showed off her secret handshake with Brittany Mahomes, wife of KC QB Patrick Mahomes. More importantly, she was spotted holding hands and dropping a kiss on Kelce’s cheek after KC’s 31-17 roll over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Last weekend, Swift and Kelce basically confirmed their long-rumored romance by holding hands on their way to the Oct. 14 SNL afterparty, just after they each made cameos on the show’s season 49 premiere. The next day, they grabbed dinner at a restaurant in the West Village, hand-in-hand again; to date neither Swift nor Kelce have confirmed their reported romance.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got big reputations for holding hands. A week after the couple was first spotted hand-in-hand at the Saturday Night Live afterparty, the “Anti-Hero” singer and Kansas City tight end were once again interlocking fingers as they left the Chiefs vs. Chargers game Sunday (Oct. 22). The sweet moment came after […]

Amid Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s blooming romance, Chiefs coach Andy Reid joked that he deserves some bragging rights. After all, he knew the pop star first.
“I knew her from Philadelphia, her dad was a big NFL fan,” Reid said in a recent episode of Donovan McNabb’s OutKick. “So I had met her when she was real young, and her dad.”

Swift and Kelce’s love story has been playing out in front of the whole world in recent weeks, fueled by the “Anti-Hero” singer’s string of appearances at Chiefs games (where she’s often seen sharing a box suite with the tight end’s parents). Shortly after she originally broke the internet by attending her first game at Arrowhead Stadium in September, Reid quipped in a post-game press conference that he had set the pair up before quickly walking away.

“I joked about setting Kelce up, and, you know, I’m just saying!” Reid recalled Tuesday (Oct. 17), laughing.

“She’s a good girl, she’s into it,” he added. “We’re glad she’s here.”

Reid is far from the only NFL pro with a claim to fame regarding the pair, though. Long before Kelce and Swift started dating, sports commentator Erin Andrews had taken to her podcast Calm Down, which she co-hosts with Charissa Thompson, to publicly ask the “Karma” musician to “please try our friend Travis.”

“Take us up on this — go on a date with this guy,” she’d added in the August episode, which dropped not long after Kelce first confessed that he’d tried unsuccessfully to give Swift his phone number at an Eras Tour show.

After reports surfaced that he and the 12-time Grammy winner may be dating, Kelce himself commented under one of Andrews and Thompson’s posts, “😂😂 You two are something else!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I owe you big time!!”

Andrews recently opened up about her role in getting the pair together on TODAY, joking that she’s “the new Bumble.” “He’s got a glow to him,” she added as she reacted to photos of Kelce and Swift holding hands. “That’s a glow up, girls. He looks fantastic.”

Lance Bass made sure that no one at the Cowboys-Chargers game on Monday (Oct. 16) got their expectations too high. After SoFi Stadium alerted the crowd that a star was in the midst and showed the *NSYNC band member on its jumbotrons, Bass held up a sign clarifying that he wasn’t one of the NFL‘s most famous recent guests: Taylor Swift.
“Not Taylor Swift,” read Bass’ handwritten sign, which he held up to the cameras as he waved to the thousands of fans in attendance.

The singer shared a video of the moment on Instagram, showing how SoFi played his band’s iconic song “Bye Bye Bye” over the speakers. “In case anyone was confused,” he captioned the post. “#LookWhatYouMadeMeDo #GoChargers ! #NotTaylorSwift #MNF”

Bass’ sign poked fun at the pop culture craze surrounding Swift’s romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, with whom she was photographed twice holding hands over the weekend in New York City. The “Anti-Hero” singer has shown up to three of Kelce’s games so far, and is often shown by NFL cameras sharing a box suite with the athlete’s mom, Donna Kelce.

And while there are millions of Swifties who would love to see the pop star’s face appear on jumbotrons at any given NFL game, many of Bass’ fans assured him that they’d be just as excited to see him in the stands. “Honestly I would be more excited at seeing Lance Bass then Taylor swift 🤣” commented one fan.

“Lance…you’re the Taylor Swift of 20 years ago,” added another.

In fact, Swift just might be one of those fans. In September, she gushed over her love for *NSYNC at the VMAs after the band reunited onstage to present her with an award. “I had your dolls,” the “Karma” musician told the guys. “Like, are you doing something? What’s going to happen now … They’re going to do something and I need to know what it is!”

Soon after the awards show, Bass, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone announced plans to release their first full-band song in 20 years. “Better Place” arrived Sept. 29 as part of the soundtrack for Trolls Band Together, which aptly focuses on a boy band reunion.

Brittany Mahomes is living every Swiftie’s dream. At the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos Thursday (Oct. 12), Taylor Swift was spotted wrapping the 28-year-old former soccer player in a big hug as the two cheered on their Chiefs boys: Brittany’s husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Swift’s rumored boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce. Looks like Travis Kelce‘s niece is a fan of Taylor Swift. In a recent TikTok, the star’s sister-in-law Kylie Kelce revealed that her 4-year-old daughter, Wyatt, is a total Swiftie. And much like the others in the fandom, the little girl is taking a bigger interest in the NFL following her uncle’s rumored romance with the pop superstar
In the adorable video, Wyatt points out players on a screen and repeatedly asks her mom, “Who is that? Who is that?” Kylie shares the 4-year-old — along with 3-year-old Elliotte and 7-month-old Bennett — with Travis’ older brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce.

“Just another swiftie tryna learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap. Who knows?” Kylie captioned the Monday (Oct. 9) post, adding, “#GoBirds.”

The Eagles’ official account dropped by the comment section to cheer her on. “Good job Wyatt! 👏👏👏,” wrote the team, which just so happens to be Swift’s hometown favorite.

Kylie’s video marks a sweet addition to the “Tayvis” lore, a rumored love story that’s been unfolding in front of Swifties and NFL fans alike in recent weeks. The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end first professed his crush on the “Anti-Hero” singer earlier this year, and a couple months later, she was spotted cheering him on at two of his games.

Neither Swift nor Travis have confirmed whether they’re dating, but the Chiefs star did comment last week about how his life has changed following pop culture’s heightened attention on him. “We’re learning with the paparazzi taking photos from all over the place,” he said during a Friday (Oct. 6) press conference.

“At the same time, you know, it comes with it,” Travis continued. “You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason. You’ve just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.”

The Kelce brothers’ mom, Donna Kelce, also recently weighed in on the Swift mania, a media blitz she’s been a key player in after cameras showed her looking cozy with the pop star at the Chiefs-Bears game in September. “It’s just very surreal,” she told the Got It From My Momma podcast last week. “I feel like I’m in an alternate universe. It’s not the one I grew up in, for sure. So it’s very, very fun, it’s exciting, but also taxing.”

Taylor Swift has all but stolen the spotlight this season, and the NFL isn’t sorry.
