Samsung’s Frame TV has become a luxurious piece of home decor, offering up entertainment and style to upgrade the regular television set (it even snagged a partnership with Disney). For those not looking to spend $1,000+ on a new TV though, TikTok has discovered the ultimate dupe that’s small-space friendly and under $300.

Amazon‘s new Echo Show 15 is the latest in the brand’s Echo Show series, bringing a compact yet elegant way to watch TV and gather information at the touch of a button. TikTok has deemed the smart device to be the ultimate dupe, labelling it a “mini Frame TV” as it offers that framed photo aesthetic with all the benefits of a smart home device.

@sarah.pollman They make a MINI FRAME TV?! 😍 Ok so it’s actually the @amazon Alexa Show 15 AND it’s even better than a frame tv IMO. It’s so aesthetically pleasing 🤗 choose a frame and swap out artwork (aka photos) any time you please! But also watch a movie, add to your calendar, play a game, make a grocery list, and literally anything else you can imagine. It will easily be the best thing you add to any room. We already had multiple Alexa devices, but when Amazon released this version, I immediately wanted it because 1) it’s beautiful and 2) it wouldn’t take up counter space in the kitchen. Now that I have it, I’M OBSESSED 🤩 Want to add this to your home? Here’s how! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Tap the link in my bio Click on my Amazon Storefront or LTK Tap the image of this space Add the items to your cart & checkout! To install: @Amazon’s Alexa and @DataCommElectronics’ outlet both come with instructions AND templates that make mounting super easy. Seriously, it’s beginner level easy! You know you want it. Are you checking out yet? 😜 #fyp #homedecor #diyhome #amazonfinds #homeinspo #frametv #amazonalexa #amazonstorefront #ltkhome @Amazon Home @Amazon Influencer Program ♬ original sound – ray marco

Similar to the Frame TV, TikTok users have show multiple ways to hang the Echo Show on the wall or use the included mount to rest it on your countertop. From there, the TikToker lists all the different advantages of the device, including its low price tag of $280.

Of course, at 15.6 inches, the Echo Show won’t completely replace a big-screen TV. And its HD screen won’t be the same as a 4K TV set. Still, for a mini Frame TV alternative, this is a solid bet.

What Is the Echo Show 15?

As the latest release for Echo Show devices, the Echo Show 15 looks to act as an in-home hub for all your entertainment and daily needs. Just like with other Echo Show devices, you can download streaming platforms including Paramount+, Hulu and Peacock, check your calendar, make a grocery list and even display artwork when the device isn’t in use.

Similar to the Frame TV, you can choose from a selection of frames to border the device and give it a more elegant touch.

Echo Show 15

Amazon’s Echo Show 15 has earned a 4.5 star rating overall, with more than 12,000 verified shoppers giving the device a full five-star review. All of the reviewers rave about the device’s features and how easy it is to setup and use. Case in point: in addition to acting as a smart home hub, you can watch TV or call your friends with just one device as well as create a to-do list to keep yourself productive.

One reviewer even raved over how “it doesn’t look off in our kitchen and can be mounted to the wall like a picture frame.” A great Frame TV alternative indeed.

This is what (comedy) friends are for. On Wednesday night’s (March 6) season 11 premier of The Masked Singer, host Nick Cannon got totally got by his comedy pal Kevin Hart, who made a surprise guest appearance in the clunky Book costume.
While actual cloaked performers Ugly Sweater, Starfish, Goldfish and Lovebird sang for a spot on the show, Hart stumbled his way through Ne-Yo’s “So Sick,” drawing smiles and laughs from judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and newbie Rita Ora. The panel could not contain themselves as Hart — whose voice was unmistakable underneath the boxy costume — bumbled his way through the song by last season’s winner.

“They love the book because that was so amazing,” Cannon said after the performance, which Thicke also called “amazing.” “Like, I’ve done a lot, but what I’m doing right now? This might be my most novel experience yet,” Hart said through a voice changer afterwards as Thicke said his face hurt from smiling.

When the big reveal came later in the show, Thicke, who had guessed Hart, took a victory lap and hugged the funnyman while Cannon complained that the comedian was breaking the rules. “I got you! Oh, I got you Nick! This was a prank, you had no idea!… And guess what Nick? There’s nothing you can do about it!,” Hart shouted as the host lamented that his friend was out of order by bringing their longtime prank war to his stage.

“This is stupid,” Cannon complained. “That was the worst performance ever in the history of this show, how about that!”

“On purpose, Nick!” the stand-up shouted. “I performed bad on purpose!”

“You embarrassed yourself, that was stupid!” Cannon shot back.

“No, I don’t look stupid. I look put together Nick,” Hart said while wearing a flesh-colored sock on his head to go with a black long sleeved shirt, white pants and book-shaped shoes. “There’s nothing stupid about me. You know who looks stupid? You, in that stupid jacket!”

Cannon — wearing a sparkly dinner jacket — disagreed, saying, “you ruined the freakin’ show! We was gonna bring everybody out, vote, deliberate…” Hart checked his pockets and snapped, “I’m trying to see if I have a little bit of care, cuz I don’t care. That’s not my problem, that’s your problem. This is me, up on you now, Kevin Hart 1, you nothing!”

The two old friends co-hosted the 2023 E! series Celebrity Prank Wars and have played tricks on each other before, including Cannon getting Hart a llama for his 42nd birthday in 2021 and Kevin posting Nick’s personal phone number on a billboard in 2021.

Elsewhere, Lovebird sang Phillip Phillips’ “Home,” Ugly Sweater did Tina Turner’s “The Best,” Starfish took on Madonna’s “Material Girl” and Goldfish ran through Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire.” Next week’s show will feature a Wizard of Oz theme, with former competitor LeAnn Rimes (aka Sun) returning to perform “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and the introduction of new singers Gumball, Afghan Hound, The Beets and Miss Cleocatra.

One of the most remarkable parts of the recent Milano Fashion Week was Missoni’s tribute to its iconic striped style and creative history, which the Italian brand has carried forward with courage and innovation over the decades. That began in 1958 when Ottavio and Rosita Missoni created a provocative fitting at the Rinascente mall in Milan, covering the eyes of the mannequins with colored, striped scarves.

It is from a harsh comment of that time (“Poor girls, luckily they are blindfolded — if they could see themselves”), that the fashion show of Missoni (“those of the stripes”) began. The models paraded on the catwalk, with the stripes moving in rhythm and appearing to expand on the clothes, dancing from head to toe, contracting and then slowing down.

The purpose is clear, the stripes help to understand it: everything is matched rather than mixed. To underline the models’ steps, Filippo Grazioli, creative director of Missoni, decided to have one long music track specially created by producer Andrea Mangia (aka Populous). Billboard Italy, Missoni’s music consultant and media partner for the show, sat down with Grazioli a few hours before the opening.

Why did you call this new collection “The Ones of the Stripes”?

Since I arrived at Missoni almost three years ago, I have faced many challenges, both personal and professional. One of the main ones was to fully understand the essence of the brand and make it evolve. I spent a lot of time immersing myself in the archives of the historic Missoni headquarters in Sumirago and establishing a strong connection with the legacy of the company, which is a continuous source of inspiration. Working with such an iconic brand also means balancing respect for its history and the desire for innovation and change. In an unstable context like the one we live in, I wanted fashion to maintain a sense of fun – especially in the case of Missoni’s style, which is very colorful. My idea for the FW 24/25 women’s collection was to pick up Missoni’s old striped style and reinterpret it in a contemporary way.

What innovations do you think you have brought in these three years? On what principles was the concept of this collection formed?

My goal was to bring modernity, contemporaneity, desire, femininity and lightness to fabrics and graphics. In creating the collection, I tried to express a concept of freedom and femininity, playing with a contrast between masculine and feminine with silhouettes that mark the body and lengthen it and strong volumes that envelop it. To me, Missoni represents a style of “bien vivre,” in harmony with the values of “Made in Italy.” I am convinced that Missoni’s code suits many women well, offering a variety of styles that allow each to find their own unique expression.

You have a great passion for music. Who are the Italian singers who fascinate you and stimulate you the most for your work?

I have always wanted to link my work to the Italian and international music scene. Having lived in France for many years, I didn’t know Italian music that much, but when I returned to Italy, I immediately started working with Lazza, Elodie and Mara Sattei on their projects for Sanremo 2023, and then on those of Rose Villain, Emma and Negramaro for Sanremo 2024. The unique aspect of music is that it is borderless. As Missoni, our projects have opened up internationally, with Sabrina Carpenter, Beyoncé, Rita Ora and Suki Waterhouse.

How important is music for the success of a fashion show?

It is essential for its success. Music is the part that creates emotions. It must integrate perfectly with the collection, in order to convey a consistent message. Lou Reed is often my starting point. His songs always inspire me in so many different ways.

It was precisely by talking about “Walk on the Wild Side” that your creative interaction with Populous began. What did you find special about working with him?

He is a very inspirational professional. It was nice to talk to a creative mind who interpreted in music what I wanted to convey in the show. The exciting aspect was that it was the first time he wrote music for a fashion show, and he was excited. Having this type of exchange between creatives is essential.

Have you chosen an Italian artist to underline the sense of “Made in Italy” or do you not preclude collaborations with international artists?

I think it is essential to value Italian artists. We wondered whether to have an Italian voice in the show’s music precisely to emphasize the Italian identity, then we opted for lyrics in English to be able to reach the entire audience. But I don’t preclude myself from collaborating with international artists in the future.
