The Weeknd announced Wednesday (Sept. 25) that he and Playboi Carti are officially releasing their “Timeless” collaboration on Friday. The two performed “Timeless” for the first time at The Weeknd’s one-night-only concert in São Paulo, Brazil earlier this month, where the Canadian-Ethiopian superstar performed his latest single “Dancing in the Flames,” his aptly titled “São […]

One of the culture’s most beloved creatives might be finally working with the world’s most popular streetwear label. A SUPREME x Tyler, The Creator drop might be on the way.
As reported by Highsnobiety, the New York-based company looks to be partnering with the face of GOLF le FLEUR. On Tuesday, Aug. 13, SUPREME posted some photographs of him sporting their signature box logo t-shirt. The “See You Again” MC is pictured wearing a hunting hat with the ear flaps tied up with what seems to be a silk-printed scarf slightly protruding from the collar. “Tyler, The Creator for Supreme, 2024,” the caption read.
While the clothing brand didn’t share any more details, Tyler left a comment saying, “MR. GREEN HAT REALLY,” which is a reference to not only his lyrics on “Session” from Bastard but also his history of wearing green SUPREME hats during his Odd Future days. The following day, posters with the same visuals appeared on the streets of London.
Tyler, The Creator has seemed to thrive in the fashion industry. Back in February it was announced he designed a menswear collection for Louis Vuitton. Prior to that, he and A$AP Rocky were the face of a 2020 Gucci campaign. At this time there is no release date on the Tyler, The Creator x SUPREME drop.

Cookies, the cannabis and lifestyle brand founded by multifaceted entrepreneur Berner, and The Freak Brothers, a comic book and animated series, are joining forces in a new partnership. Via the new collaboration, Cookies and The Freak Brothers are releasing a limited-edition CookiesSF clothing capsule, along with a hefty infused preroll and more.
As Berner continues to expand his empire, the launch of the new LSD Joint coincides with the rapper joining the voice cast of The Freak Brothers series, which also stars Tiffany Haddish, Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, Pete Davidson, and others.
The LSD Joint, which drops on 420 Eve (April 19), is a 2.5g infused preroll point that speaks to fans who grew up with the comics and those indoctrinated to the brand via the animated series. The LSD Joint comes in a glow-in-the-dark tube and is adorned with a scannable QR code that unlocks related artwork.
“We felt like ‘LSD Joint’ was an appropriate name for our collab given the Freak Brothers are from the ’70s, from San Francisco, and this joint is EXTREMELY strong. We will be dropping our collab with the Freaks on 4/19, available at all of our California stores,” said Berner, co-founder and CEO of Cookies. “I love that the animated show is so weed-friendly and done with class. I’m incredibly excited to announce that I am joining the Freak Brothers show alongside an epic cast.”
Courtney Solomon, Freak Brothers’ CEO and show Executive Producer, added, “We’re excited to welcome Berner to the show. His proven track record of innovation and his authentic love of cannabis culture is a perfect marriage with the Freak Brothers. We look forward to a long collaboration together.”
It may come as a surprise to some but considering that the animated series spawned from The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers in the late 1960s, they have never collaborated in the wider cannabis space despite the deep connections to that world.
This is the first-ever official cannabis product for The Freak Brothers, so we wanted to lean into the cool trippy Bay Area heritage shared by both brands while producing a product the Freaks themselves would have loved to spark up,” said Greg Goldner, Head of Brand & Strategy for Freak Brothers.
Seasons 1 and 2 of The Freak Brothers are available on Tubi now. Learn more about the show here.

Joining Dan are the likes of Melba Wilson (owner of icon Melba’s Restaurant), Felipe Luciano (an original member of The Lost Poets) and fashion model Alberth Johnson.

Dapper Dan shared his enthusiasm regarding the project in a formal statement. “A breakthrough is when people finally find their space in areas they have never been before, but a breakout is when you take the culture and the people who created it and bring it around the world. When Gap came to me, this partnership signified a breakout for the culture,” said Dapper Dan. “This DAP GAP campaign is my love letter to Harlem, and my way of continuing to propel our culture and community forward. Gap gave us the global presence that allowed us to have the breakout and I can’t wait for the next generation to be a part of this movement.”
Included in the capsule are hooded sweatshirts, matching logo sweatpants in houndstooth print, hats, socks, and a tote bag. The collection is available in sizes toddler 2T to adult XXXL and retails from $25 to $128. The War & Treaty‘s Michael Jr. and Tanya Trotter are having a moment this year after earning their first-ever CMAs and Grammy nominations, as well as collaborating with country star Zach Bryan on his self-titled album. To celebrate these milestones, the couple got together with George Dickel to share a glass of the Tennessee whiskey brand’s new 18-year-old limited edition bourbon whiskey, which follows the brand’s eight-year-old version and is now available to buy in select U.S. markets for around $510.

“Words cannot truly express how we feel,” Michael tells Billboard. “You can say all the good things and it’ll just fall short of what we truly, truly feel.”
The duo — who were nominated for CMAs’ best vocal duo but lost to Brothers Osborne and snagged a Grammy nod for best new artist — performed “That’s How Love Is Made” off their album Lover’s Game during the Nov. 8 CMAs ceremony. The track was particularly special, as it’s one of the few the husband-wife duo have written together.
“When we first started working together, Michael primarily wrote all the songs,” Tanya explains to Billboard. “And this is probably — I’m not going to say the only song — but probably [the] top five songs that we’ve written together, so to be able to do a song with him that we did together on the award show, and to have that record Lover’s Game that was, again, all the songs written by Michael and one of the songs produced by him — I think you have to sit back and look at your journey and say, look how far we’ve come.”
The couple — who talked to Billboard ahead of the CMAs — also discussed how the collaboration with Zach Bryan came about, their upcoming new album, the best gifts they’ve received from each another and the one person they turn to for fashion advice.
You’re going to be opening for Zach Bryan. How did your collaboration come about?
Tanya: We actually met him [when] we were doing the Outlaw Festival with Willie Nelson. I hadn’t heard of him before and I came backstage and I said to our tour manager, I was like, “I don’t know who this guy is, but every young girl in the audience is singing every single word.” I was just amazed. And then he came backstage and he was passing out T shirts, he introduced himself and it was very friendly, and that was the first time we met.
So we did the ACMa, performed and he happened to be there with his dad. Afterwards, he ran up to us as everybody was leaving, and he was like, “holy s–t, what just happened to me? I was sitting there and my legs were shaking, and I had chills up and down my arms.” He was like, “We have to work together. I don’t know what we’re going to do — let’s exchange numbers.”
It’s very kind of cliche, it happens all the time in the music business where you see other artists, and it’s always like, “We got to do a record together.” He and Michael connected, and we were on a three-way text, but Michael and him had the bond of being in the military and serving, and so the dialog happened. One day he called us and maybe two weeks later, he had a song, and he was like, “I want to hear what you guys sound like on this song.” So we put a voice memo together, sent it to him, he loved it and it was on Instagram I think in less than 20 minutes.
Also, Tanya, I love your denim cowboy boots and matching purse. Where are they from?
Tanya: I got these boots from, I want to say Amazon. My daughter, she’s like, “Mommy, Tanya, you have to carry the bag.” She’s a little fashionista, so she made me carry the bag. (See a similar style here.)
And you teased a new album in the works. What can we expect from this one?
Michael: We are intending to touch as many people as we can, whether they don’t look like us, look like us, whether they come from our walks of life or not — especially [in] country music. I think it’s important to be intentional in targeting people that look like me and Tanya. I think that you have to get rid of all of the things that you may think. Like Black people don’t do whiskey or Black people don’t do country music. And I think that that’s a thing that Tanya and I are here as proof and our intentional spirit to really take this back to the communities that look like us and to say it’s time to try new things. It’s time to love again, it’s time to trust again — especially in our country. I think that the intentional thing to say now is it’s time for us as a people to have faith and fall in love with each other again.
What is your favorite gift you’ve ever given one another?
Michael: OK, Dec. 8, 2010. Ty and I were in what we thought would be our first place to rent. We were sleeping on the floor, Tanya was pregnant, we had no money — no anything — but the greatest gift that Tanya has ever given me was that night. Her word that her heart belonged to me. I will never, ever forget that night.
Tanya: For me, with Michael, it’s his listening. There’s not anything that I can’t say to him. Just in random I could say something right now, like, “I want this” or “I can look at something,” and he’s always paying attention. He’s always listening, and when you have somebody that has a heart like his and listens and pays attention to the details of what you have, you can’t get that — you can’t pay for that.
That’s beautiful. And what do you think is the best gift someone can give their partner?
Michael: I think we’re living in a day and time where people can’t afford a lot. People can’t afford to play games. So many relationships we find ourselves in the lover’s game, but I think that the greatest thing you can give someone is honesty. That was the first thing I gave to Tanya. I just told her the truth, I said, “Listen, I’m bumming right now” … and I said, “I don’t know how I’m going to make it, but I know how to love.” And Tanya, the way Tanya looks and the way her heart is, Tanya could be with anybody in the entire universe, but she chose me. And I said, “You know what? I give you my word, I won’t let you regret that choice.” I like to think 13 years later, I’m making good on my promise.
Tanya: I would say the gift of time. The one thing about Michael that I’ve learned from him is I’m very anal retentive when it comes to something. So like this brownie, I’m going to finish this brownie because I like to finish things. But Michael could be in the middle of anything and any of our kids can walk into a room and he zones in on just that, and he does that with everything. I think that that’s the gift that you’re not able to replace, is your time. It’s the one thing you can’t buy and you can’t get back.

Two iconic brands are coming together for a unique drop in the fall. Polo Ralph Lauren has announced a co-branded effort with Element Skateboards.
GQ is reporting that the house that Ralph built is doubling down on their efforts to plant more roots in skate culture. This week Polo Ralph Lauren teased a forthcoming collaboration with Element. The worlds of skate, outdoors and premium lifestyle fashion are seemingly merging via a collection that ranges from clothing, accessories, decks, wheels and other goods. Included in the wearables line-up are jackets, button-up shirts, khakis, graphic t-shirts and hats. The standout piece thus far is a reworked knitted sweater that features a young child skating by a schoolhouse located in a woodsy area.
To promote the launch the brands have curated a short film. Polo Ralph Lauren and Element worked with some of the most revered skate shops and invited 13 skaters from 10 different countries to meet the Element Skate Pro team at the Seek Skate camp in Oregon, USA. This is not the first time Polo Ralph Lauren has worked with the skate community. Back in 2018 the fashion label worked with Palace Skateboards on a capsule.
The Polo Ralph Lauren x Element collection will be available globally starting on Wednesday, October 5 at www.elementbrand.com.

Since his debut in 2000, Craig Morgan has become a multi-hyphenate entertainer. The military veteran and singer-songwriter scored the four-week Hot Country Songs No. 1 “That’s What I Love About Sunday” in 2005 (and notched six other top hits on the same chart), while also becoming an author and television personality.

But now, Morgan is teaming up with several of his musical buddies — including Luke Combs, Blake Shelton, Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson — to reimagine some of his most renowned hits (along with a pair of new tracks) on the upcoming, six-song project Enlisted. The set will be released Oct. 20 on Broken Bow Records, Billboard can reveal.
The project originated with “Raise the Bar,” a new song Morgan wrote with Billy Dean, featuring vocals from Luke Combs. “I wasn’t thinking about doing a whole duet project at the time; I just wanted Luke on the song because I thought it was a great one for the two of us to do together,” Morgan tells Billboard.
After Combs laid down his vocal tracks on the song, the idea of an entire collaborative project quickly followed, and Morgan co-produced the album with writer-producer Phil O’Donnell.
“My management was telling me I should get someone to sing ‘Redneck Yacht Club,’ because it is such a fan favorite,” Morgan says, “and I thought, ‘Well, we just did this collaboration with Luke, so it makes sense to do a duets project.’”
Blake Shelton, who appeared in the original music video for Morgan’s “Redneck Yacht Club” smash in 2005, joins for a Jimmy Buffett-esque, tropical take on the song.
“Craig and I have been friends for many years,” Shelton says in a statement. “I’m a fan of his music and admire him as a human. After all of these years, I still don’t understand why he still feels the need to wear that toupee, but I’m thrilled he asked me to sing with him on ‘Redneck Yacht Club.’”
Morgan also teams with Trace Adkins on another new song, “That Ain’t Gonna Be Me,” which Morgan wrote with Wade Kirby, Trent Willmon and Phil O’Donnell. Gary LeVox, known for his work as part of trio Rascal Flatts, sings a soulful revamp of “That’s What I Love About Sunday.”
“I love R&B and I wanted to do something different with every one of these songs,” Morgan says. “I told everyone the same thing — sing as little or as much as you want. Have fun with it. And I love Gary’s singing, the soulfulness and the almost religious sound he delivers. It was easy — the hardest part with Gary was trying to find out which parts to use my vocal on, because he just sang all of it so well!”
The two current leading nominees at this year’s CMA awards — Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll—also join Morgan on the album. Wilson’s honey-twang vocals melt over the lyrics of “International Harvester.”
“It’s an absolute honor to be a part of this record,” Wilson says in a statement. “I remember the first time I ever heard ‘International Harvester’ and the feeling I got knowing that there was music being written that felt like it was made just for me. I come from a family of farmers, so it’s really a full circle moment to be on this track alongside my good friend Craig.”
A year ago, Morgan joined Jelly Roll onstage at the Grand Ole Opry to perform Morgan’s “Almost Home.” Now, they upgrade that performance to an official, emotionally charged recorded duet of the song. The song’s tale of a homeless man dreaming of being nearly home resonated with Jelly Roll.
The “Need a Favor” singer previously told Billboard, “I had got released from jail and it would end up being the last time I was ever in jail, which I am super proud of. And I came here because Craig Morgan had ‘Almost Home,’ and I would listen to it in my jail cell. My cell mates and I used to compare [that song’s story] to jail. You know, like in this horrible circumstance, but kind of mentally, you can always be almost home.’”
“I love the guy to death. Love his enthusiasm, his energy, his sense of gratitude,” Morgan says of Jelly Roll. “I feel like he truly is representative of how someone can be at their lowest point in their life and they can change that through faith, hope and kindness and that’s what he’s done. When he came in the studio — and this is a guy that has 50 people around him all the time — he drove up to the studio by himself, sang, hung out with us and it was awesome.”
The album’s title ties in with the recent news that Morgan enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Morgan also hopes that the project’s fresh recordings expand the influence of these songs to new fans of the genre.
“After COVID, there was this resurgence of the 2000s kind of music, so there were new fans hearing the music,” Morgan says. “With this, we wanted to maintain the sense of who Craig Morgan is with older fans, but at the same time, give them something new and create something for the new fans of the format now.”
